इसलिए इच्छुक उम्मीदवार नीट के बिना किसी भी मेडिकल कोर्स का विकल्प चुन सकते हैं, जो पूर्वोक्त हैं। उम्मीदवारों को सलाह दी जाती है कि यदि वे नीट एग्जाम 2024 में कम अंक पाते हैं, तो भी बहुत अधिक चिंता करने की ज़रूरत नहीं है। नीट मेडिकल प्रवेश परीक्षा के लिए क्वालिफाई न कर पाने के बावजूद भी अब मेडिकल फील्ड से जुड़ने के लिए बहुत सारे विकल्प छात्रों के पास मौजूद हैं।

जो उम्मीदवार नीट 2024 के बिना मेडिकल कोर्स करना चाहते हैं, उन्हें मुख्य विषयों के रूप में भौतिकी, रसायन विज्ञान और जीव विज्ञान/गणित (PCB/PCM) के साथ कक्षा 12 परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण होना चाहिए।

अधिकारियों के अनुसार नीट के बिना मेडिकल कोर्स को करने के लिए कई कॉलेजों में कोई प्रवेश परीक्षा नहीं देनी होती है। उम्मीदवारों को सिर्फ मूल पात्रता शर्तों को पूरा करना होता है।

नीट 2024 के बिना कोर्स का चयन करने वाले उम्मीदवार प्रैक्टिस कर सकते हैं या अन्य विकल्पों के साथ ही अच्छे वेतन पैकेज पर दूसरों को ऑक्युपेशनल थेरेपी, परफ्यूजनिस्ट, साइकोलॉजिस्ट आदि के टॉपिक्स पढ़ा सकते हैं।

बायोमेडिकल इंजीनियर बनने के लिए, बैचलर ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी इन बायोमेडिकल इंजीनियरिंग का 4 वर्षीय कोर्स करना पड़ेगा।

निश्चित तौर पर नीट के बिना भी एमबीबीएस किया जा सकता है, लेकिन भारत देश में नहीं। इसके अलावा यदि आपने नीट क्वालीफाई किए बिना विदेश से एमबीबीएस कोर्स किया है तो फिर आप भारत में डॉक्टरी की प्रैक्टिस भी नहीं कर पाएंगे। यदि आप ऐसे में भी नीट के बिना एमबीबीएस करना चाहें तो कर सकते हैं। 

नीट क्वालीफाई करने के बाद यदि आप विदेश से एमबीबीएस करते हैं तो भारत में प्रैक्टिस करने के लिए आपको एफएमजीई में सफलता पानी होगी। FMGE क्लियर करने के बाद आप विदेश से एमबीबीएस किए होने के बाद भी भारत में प्रैक्टिस कर सकेंगे।

UP medical colleges introduce Hindi textbooks in MBBS classes

The addition of Hindi as a medium of instruction in medical schools is soon to be implemented in all government medical institutions throughout Uttar Pradesh (UP).

As part of the transition, principals and faculty members of all medical institutions across the state have been asked to start teaching in Hindi and provide a monthly update to the director general medical education.

In a letter to all state-run, autonomous medical colleges and officials of King George’s Medical University (KGMU) and Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS), the director general medical education (DGME) Kinjal Singh said: “A government letter issued on October 31 has stated teaching in Hindi be started at colleges and universities under the medical education department.”

This transition is expected to bring greater clarity to medical students, particularly those who have received their prior education in Hindi. For example, consider the instruction: ‘Before measuring blood pressure ensure the unique preparation or the prerequisite are done.’ This sentence might pose challenges for MBBS students who are not well-versed in English. However, if explained in Hindi as, “ Blood pressure napne se pehle sabhi jaruri taiyariyan puri kar leni chahiye,” it can be easily understood even by those who do not know the English language.

“Hindi books are available for almost all MBBS subjects. Some are under review also,” said Prof NS Verma, head of physiology department at the KGMU. “Many countries such as Russia, China, Japan teach students in their own language,” he added.

The teachers, however, pointed out that Hindi has already been the language when it comes to explaining in detail any complex point in classroom. “Almost 60% of our content is being explained in Hindi. This helps the students to understand what exactly we teach,” said Prof Navneet Kumar, head of anatomy department at the KGMU.

Prof Anoop Verma, head of forensic medicine and toxicology department stated, “Some of the books in Hindi that are being used to teach intermediate students have good stuff. We use them to explain technical terms in simple language, in Hindi, to our students.”

Prof Suryakant, from the pulmonary medicine department at KGMU, emphasised the need for teaching students English before they embark on their first year MBBS curriculum. He suggested that if medical textbooks were available in Hindi, it would facilitate better learning. Notably, Prof Suryakant had written his thesis in Hindi in 1991, which was accepted only after a state assembly resolution was passed in its favour.

Following the conclusion of NEET-UG counselling on September 30, the first-year classes have commenced for anatomy, physiology and biochemistry students.

In October 2022, the DGME office established a committee to evaluate the use of Hindi books in medical education, beginning with a study of their implementation in Madhya Pradesh. The state currently has 35 government-sector medical institutions, including 13 state-run medical colleges, 14 autonomous medical colleges and 8 premier medical institutions. Hindi books will now be introduced in these institutions, along with lectures delivered in Hindi by the faculty. Notably, Meerut Medical College had already introduced Hindi as a medium of instruction for medical students last year.

In A First, Madhya Pradesh Medical Colleges To Teach MBBS Course In Hindi

Though Hindi textbooks will be available along with English ones, technical terms will remain in English.

Three MBBS subjects - anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry - will be taught in Hindi to first-year students in all 13 government medical colleges of Madhya Pradesh. Union Home minister Amit Shah will launch medical education in Hindi in the state by releasing translated MBBS first-year books in Bhopal on October 16. 

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that it will change the perception that medical and engineering courses can't be learnt and taught in Hindi. 

"This is a step in putting into practice the idea that one can move ahead in life through education in Hindi medium too. It's the resolve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that the medium of education should be in one's mother tongue," he said.

For Hindi translation of books, a well-organised curriculum was prepared by duly constituting a Hindi cell 'Mandar' in February this year at Gandhi Medical College in Bhopal. The task force comprises experts from the medical field. 97 medical college teachers, and experts brainstormed for more than 5,568 hours.

Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang said that Hindi books will be available along with English ones, but the technical words will remain in English. 

"Madhya Pradesh will be the first state in the country to start medical education in Hindi. The pilot project of MBBS course in Hindi will start from Gandhi Medical College. From the current session itself, anatomy, physiology, and bio-chemistry will be taught in Hindi in the first year of MBBS in all 13 government medical colleges of Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, it will be implemented in MBBS second year also in the next session," he said.

Mr Sarang also said that there would be no special course or classroom for those students studying in the Hindi language. 

"The classroom, students, and the lecturers would remain the same, and only those students who face difficulty in understanding the lectures and books in English would have the facility to understand the subject in their own language. Three books of main subjects in MBBS first year have been transliterated, by using the same terminology used in English language, he added.

Budhram Meena, Sahiba Khatoon, and Rachna Yadav are in MBBS first year. Speaking to NDTV, all of them said Hindi textbooks will surely help the students in learning and explaining the answers. 

Antara Lahiri, a final year student, said, "It's a good initiative. It's a tedious process, but will certainly help students. However, we will have to see how they will translate books written by foreign authors. Overall it's a good idea as we have seen many of our batch mates struggled because of English".

Study Medical Science in Hindi: Revolutionary step taken by Indian Government as Amit Shah inaugurates Hindi Books for Medical

Madhya Pradesh became the first state in India to start medical education in Hindi by releasing three medical science textbooks in the Hindi language. The Union Home Minister, Amit Shah , was present at the event, which happened on 16th October at Lal Parade ground. The Minister of Medical Education, Vishvas Sarang , and MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan were also present at the event.

According to Mr. Shah, efforts are being made to begin technical and medical education in eight additional national languages. According to him, the MBBS program will soon be offered in other languages as well. The Hindi program was started as part of the National Education Policy (NEP-2020) .

Hindi versions of textbooks for all three subjects of the first year, Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry, are now available for the students. For the past 232 days, a group of 97 experts have been working at Gandhi Medical College in Bhopal to prepare books. The book has been translated into Hindi from English.

Mr. Chauhan believes that this step will help the middle-class, poor, and tribal students who do not have exposure to English and who have to face an extra barrier in completing such professional and technical courses.

Amit Shah brought to mind the ideas of the great Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela, who emphasized the value of offering students an education in regional languages in order to hasten the eradication of poverty and illiteracy. He also believes in the fact that there is no relation between the language and intellectual abilities of the students.

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the introduction of medical education in Hindi will result in a significant improvement for the nation. He claimed that lakhs of students would be able to study in their own language in their own country and that many new opportunities would become available to them.
