Over the past, American popular culture has been strong in creating racial stereotypes. Images displayed through television, music, and the internet have an impact on how individuals behave and what individuals believe. People find their identities and belief systems from popular culture. Evidently, I believe that American pop culture has created racial stereotypes that predominantly affect other ethnic minorities. Analyzing the history of America reveals that African Americans have always had a problem defining themselves as Americans ever since the era of slavery. AfricanAmericans have always had a hard time being integrated into American culture. The result is that African Americans have been subjected to ridicule and shame. American pop culture has compounded the problem by enhancing the negative stereotypes ofAfrican American. In theatre, film, and music, African Americans have been associated with vices such as murder, theft, and violence.
The family systems theory has a significant revelation on family relations. I firmly agree that to understand a particular family or a member, they should be around other family members. The emotional connection among different family members may create functional or dysfunctional coexistence, which is not easy to identify when an individual is further from the other members. Taking an example of the extended family, the relationship between the mother-in-law and her daughter-in-law may be tense, but once they are outside the family, they can pretend to have a good relationship. Therefore, I agree with the theory that the existing emotional attachment and developed culture in the family is distinctively understood when the family is together.

Now let’s move on to which sections the essay consists of and how it should be written. You can safely use this information as a synopsis when completing the assignment.

So, the first one!

📃 Opinion Essay Format

As mentioned earlier, a specific opinion essay structure must be followed. Therefore, before you prepare writing, make up a small outline, which will contain all the components of the text and your ideas for their content. So, how to start an opinion essay?

Opinion essay introduction.

Opinion Essay Introduction

Of course, any text starts with a short opening. This section should summarize the essence of the problem you are writing about. The main task of the introduction is to entice the audience and familiarize them with the paper’s main topic. Therefore, by the first paragraph, a person will build an impression of your talents.

Moreover, remember that the introduction should be catchy. How to write a hook for an opinion essay? In simple words, this is a proposal that should interest the reader and draw his attention. It should be subject-related and relatively accurate. All you have to do is show the reader that the topic of the essay will be critical and even touch it.

Let’s take a look at some opinion essay introduction examples from our authors, in which you can see all the listed components:

  • As Ronald Reagan said in one of his speeches, everyone who advocates abortion has been born. The topic of abortion is very controversial, and people still cannot come to a standard solution. That is why, in this abortion opinion essay, I will try to sort out my thoughts and answer whether abortion is a panacea or a hidden evil.
  • Global warming is a global problem. As Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez aptly put it, we cannot sit back while our planet is on fire. But can one person influence the fate of all humanity? I think so, and in this essay, I will try to explain my position

Of course, these examples are conditional, and you can change them as you need to achieve a quality result.

Opinion Essay: Thesis Statement

The thesis statement is the final sentence of an introduction . It is an integral part of the entire text. And if your essay will be evaluated, then the absence of the thesis will significantly underestimate the point. So how do you write the last sentence competently so that the reader will like it?

At its core, in the thesis, you should summarize everything that you indicated in the introduction and, in a nutshell, make it clear what will be discussed. You are expected to state your position on the issue clearly. And then, the entire text should be directed precisely to reinforce your words.

For example, take this essay topic: “ Is globalization a positive phenomenon? ” In this case, a good thesis would be “ In my opinion, globalization has many more advantages than disadvantages. ”

See how one small phrase can dramatically improve your overall performance score. Therefore, pay due attention to it!

Opinion essay body paragraphs.

Opinion Essay: Body Paragraphs

Finally, you come to the main body of your essay, namely the argumentation. The body paragraphs of an opinion essay are aimed at correctly explaining the author’s position to the audience. Here you are expected to have good arguments and examples that will become your assistants in proving your case.

Body paragraphs have two parts: an argument and an example supporting what you said. For example, you might say that the lack of responsibility for actions leads to the corruption of the mind and soul. And as an explanation to these words, briefly support your statement with the story of the protagonist of the novel by Jack London, “The Picture of Dorian Gray.”

Moreover, no one limits the number of these same arguments, and often it depends on the maximum volume of the text itself. The standard case is two good arguments, supported by examples from life or literature. Then you can be sure that the reader will correctly understand your idea.

Opinion essay conclusion.

🔗 Linkers and Transitional Words for Opinion Essay

Connecting structures are an invisible companion for the reader throughout the entire essay. They are also called linkers or transitional words . At their core, these two concepts mean the exact phrases. Their task is to make the text more readable and smoothly translate the reader from one idea to another. Moreover, all these constructions are divided into subgroups depending on their purpose. Let’s take a look at a couple of examples of good transition words for an opinion essay:

  • In my opinion…
  • It is clear that…, etc.
  • It is widely known that…
  • It is a well-known fact that…
  • Research has shown that…
  • There are definitely…
  • It is a fact that…, etc.

There are also brilliant linkers for opinion essays on these themes:

  • In spite of…
  • However, etc.
  • To conclude…

Climate change opinion essay, truth or fiction? (250 words)

Climate change has been heading the news for decades. Almost everyone is puzzled by this problem in the modern world, but is there any reason to believe that this is just exaggerated media panic? I think not, and in this essay, I will try to explain my position. The first thing worth paying attention to is the changes that we can see every day. But nature is changing, and this is noticeable with the naked eye. For example, you can look at how the temperature regime has changed over the past decades. In my region, real winter began in the last days of November. Then the temperature dropped to zero, and there was already snow outside the window. However, I would be thrilled to see snowfall this year, at least at Christmas. This raises questions about the veracity of statements from the media and various organizations. You should also look at the publicly available facts. International organizations conduct ongoing research, which clearly shows that the climate is changing, and it is difficult to fix it. One of the most respected teams, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), regularly issues climate change reports. And in them, you can see what reasons for this and what it can lead to. This is excellent and detailed work that deserves everyone’s attention. In summary, we can say that climate change can be seen with the naked eye. This problem affects all people on the planet, and to ignore it is to expose yourself to great danger. Humanity is destroying our world, and can we deny it?

Opinion on death penalty essay, is it moral? (300 words)

Many international treaties have long banned the death penalty, but this does not prevent several countries from regularly using it against criminals. I think this is a terrible practice that has no place in our civilized world. The argument for this may be the simple idea that every creature has a right to life. And this right cannot be taken away under any condition because you can take a dangerous path by creating an incident. One Russian scientist Andrei Sakharov spoke very accurately about this: “The existence of the institution of the death penalty dehumanizes society. I spoke out and am opposed to the death penalty also because this punishment provides for the presence of a constantly terrible apparatus of executors, the whole institution of the death penalty ”. I fully support his words because there is no reason not to kill the second after killing once. It should also be understood that people sentenced to death are not always, in fact, guilty. There is a miscarriage of justice, and no one can be insured against it. The most resonant was the story from 1949. Timothy Evans was hanged on charges of murdering his pregnant wife and two-year-old daughter. Four years later, it wasn’t until serial killer John Christie, who had testified in court against Evans, confessed to the murder. He was hanged, and Timothy Evans was posthumously rehabilitated. The Timothy Evans case is one of the most remarkable stories in the death penalty dispute. To summarize, I can say that there are many reasons for the absolute ban on the death penalty in the world. This is not only inhuman but can lead to unnecessary deaths. Fighting crime in this way, the people who defend the law themselves break it.

Opinion essay on smoking: should the state intervene? (300 words)

Smoking is a global problem. Experts predict that in the coming decades, the number of smokers will reach one billion people worldwide. In my opinion, governments should take strict measures to limit nicotine use among the population. Firstly, smoking poses enormous hardships for addicts. All this can increase the number of cancer patients and people suffering from heart and lung diseases. At the same time, it can be tough to give up cigarettes on your own. We all understand that nicotine in quantities that a person receives from cigarettes is not characteristic of the body. Therefore, our body can react in an extraordinary way to its appearance. An example may well be my family, suffering from heart problems for several generations. All men, from my great-grandfather to my father, visit doctors all the time. And they all have one reason – excessive smoking. At the same time, they cannot quit smoking on their own due to a banal addiction. Secondly, smokers can damage the health of other people nearby. It is a well-known fact that secondhand smoke is no less harmful than the regular use of nicotine. And unfortunately, non-smokers, in most cases, have no choice. You can see it yourself in everyday life. People who are forced to breathe smoke while sitting at bus stops or in public places simply cannot do anything about it. The only way to help them is to introduce more and more restrictions from the state. So, in conclusion, we can say that smoking is not only a problem for the person addicted to cigarettes. Everyone suffers from this, from his family to strangers around him. Unfortunately, these difficulties cannot be resolved on their own. But is the state and society doing enough to help people with addiction?

❓ What Are the Characteristics of an Opinion?

The opinion is an entirely subjective position formed due to the influence of certain factors on the mind. It can be characterized as a personal judgment, point of view, and not an exact fact. However, an opinion can be valid only if it is supported by actual knowledge. Otherwise, it can be called more of a guess.

❓ How Many Paragraphs is an Opinion Essay?

The standard structure consists of four main parts: an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Nevertheless, if it is not specified in the assignment, it can deviate slightly from such a system. It is pretty standard practice to write three or more body paragraphs. Conversely, if one section fully covers the topic, then the need for other explanations may disappear.

❓ What Is the Structure of an Opinion Essay?

An essay structure is a precise sequence of your thoughts, which will help the reader to understand the topic better. The standard system consists of an introduction, two arguments, and a conclusion. In addition, there are less visible components like a hook, thesis statement, and linkers words. You can expand the structure by adding more argument parts. However, the sequence must remain the same.

❓ What Is a Supported Opinion Essay?

An essay based on a person’s personal opinion implies a clear statement of the author’s thoughts on a specific topic. However, to show understanding of the problem, one should rely on facts, research, or examples from life. A supported opinion essay is precisely when the author’s opinion is based on objective factors.

Choose a Relevant and Engaging Topic

The first step in writing an impactful opinion piece or editorial is selecting a topic that is both relevant and interesting. Consider current events, trending topics, or issues that you are passionate about. It’s essential to choose a subject that will captivate your readers and spark their curiosity.

Conduct Thorough Research

Before you start writing, it’s crucial to gather as much information as possible about your chosen topic. Conduct thorough research from reliable sources, such as reputable news outlets, academic journals, and expert opinions. This will help you build a strong foundation for your argument and ensure your piece is well-informed.

Understand Different Perspectives

While writing an opinion piece, it’s important to acknowledge and understand various perspectives on the topic. This will help you present a balanced argument and avoid appearing biased. Analyze different viewpoints, gather supporting evidence, and consider counterarguments to strengthen your piece.

Develop a Clear and Persuasive Thesis

A strong thesis statement is the backbone of any opinion piece or editorial. It should clearly state your main argument and provide a roadmap for the rest of your article. Craft a thesis that is concise, persuasive, and captures the essence of your viewpoint.

Structure Your Piece Effectively

To ensure your opinion piece or editorial flows smoothly, follow a logical structure. Start with an attention-grabbing introduction that hooks the reader and provides context for your argument. Then, develop your points in the body paragraphs, providing evidence and examples to support your claims. Finally, conclude your piece with a compelling ending that leaves a lasting impression on the reader.

Use Clear and Concise Language

Opinion pieces and editorials should be written in a clear and concise manner. Avoid using jargon or overly complex language that may alienate your readers. Instead, opt for simple and impactful language that effectively communicates your ideas.

Incorporate Compelling Evidence

To strengthen your argument, it’s essential to back up your claims with compelling evidence. Use statistics, research findings, and expert opinions to support your viewpoints. This will add credibility to your piece and make it more persuasive.

Engage with Your Audience

Opinion pieces and editorials are meant to engage and provoke thought in readers. Consider your target audience and tailor your writing style accordingly. Use rhetorical questions, anecdotes, or personal experiences to captivate your readers and invite them to think critically about the topic.

Edit and Revise

After completing your initial draft, take the time to edit and revise your opinion piece or editorial. Check for grammatical errors, clarity of ideas, and overall coherence. Consider seeking feedback from peers or mentors to gain valuable insights and improve your writing.

Submit to Appropriate Platforms

Once you are satisfied with your final draft, it’s time to submit your opinion piece or editorial to relevant platforms. Consider pitching your article to newspapers, magazines, or online publications that align with your chosen topic. Additionally, consider publishing your work on personal blogs or social media platforms to reach a wider audience.

Structure Breakdown

Band 7 sample answer for ielts writing task 2 question – newspapers are less important nowadays.

A growing number of people are indeed using the Internet to find out the latest news. While newspapers are still popular, I strongly disagree that most people will continue to rely on them as a source of news.

The first reason for my view relates to the increasing use of the Internet around the world. Recently, a growing number of people have accessed online news via technological gadgets such as smartphones or tablets, so they do not need to buy a newspaper to obtain news. Even in more remote corners of the world, access to the Internet is becoming more widespread and the online community is growing daily.

Secondly, online news is always up-to-date while printed news needs time for editing, printing and delivering. In this fast-changing world, readers tend to expect updated information about what has just happened or is happening around them. Online news can be broadcast immediately with vivid pictures and relevant stories, making it more appealing to readers than printed news.

Finally, the Internet is a repository of information for people to dig for information that they need. Digital information can be stored in mass quantity, which allows Internet users to search for events that occurred in the past. In contrast, newspapers are generally hard to preserve because of the destructive effects of the environment and their sheer bulk makes storage difficult. This once again confirms the edge of online news.

In conclusion, I firmly believe that the Internet is even now replacing newspapers as the principal medium for accessing all the latest news. (258 Words)

Band 8 Sample Answer For IELTS Writing Task 2 Question – Newspapers Are Less Important Nowadays

In the modern world, obtaining news on the Internet has become an accelerating trend. I have faith in the likelihood of this trend overshadowing the traditional way of reading newspapers to become the most crucial source of news.

Firstly, the most obvious proof supporting my viewpoint is the decline in the popularity of traditional newspapers. Conventional newspapers are characterized by a thorough and time-consuming process of editing, printing, and distributing. This turns out to be a weakness that causes newspapers to fail to meet the instant quest for news of modern newsreaders. In addition, because printed newspapers are geographically limited, their reach and exposure levels are becoming substantially lower than those of online news.

Apparently, it is online press, not the traditional one, which helps news seekers all over the globe access local news as well as global news published by a variety of internationally prestigious newspapers including BBC, New York Times, and Wall Street Journal. Such availability of online news far outweighs that of printed news, steadily dominating the news industry.

Moreover, the advantages of online news significantly surpass those of printed newspapers. In this era of advanced technology and communication, the omnipresence of the Internet and the availability of Internet devices have boosted the popularity of online news to the extent that the concept of buying and reading a printed newspaper would become obsolete and inconvenient. Online platforms which facilitate fast-moving and immediate news updates will certainly become the utmost solution to satisfy increasing demand and busy news seekers. Thanks to Internet-based platforms, news about an incident happening half the world away could be retrieved within a few seconds after its commencement, which renders news updates one day later on conventional newspapers out of date.

In conclusion, even though printed newspapers still hold an important role, I firmly support the tendency that they will be overshadowed by online news. (310 Words)

  • Geographically

Meaning: In terms of or concerning geography or location.

Example: Printed newspapers are geographically limited, impacting their reach and exposure.

Meaning: To be more significant or important than something else.

Example: The availability of online news far outweighs that of printed news in the modern era.

Meaning: No longer in use or valid; outdated.

Example: The concept of buying and reading a printed newspaper is becoming obsolete.

  • Inconvenient

Meaning: Causing difficulty or discomfort; not convenient.

Band 9 Sample Answer For IELTS Writing Task 2 Question – Newspapers Are Less Important Nowadays

Unlock Band 9 Sample Answer and Vocabulary!

The advent of the Internet and other forms of media in the twenty-first century has unquestionably brought about a transition in the way people seek knowledge and information. Newspapers, the one form of media which was once considered highly important, have now entered a state of significant and rapid decline in many places across the world. This has led to suggestions that newspapers will soon become a thing of the past. My way of thinking is that the death of newspapers is almost certain.

Firstly, many people are against reading newspapers because the process of making it is not environmentally sustainable. Even though newspapers today are losing their readerships, a staggering number of trees are being cut down every day to produce them. On the other hand, using digital tools to spread knowledge does not necessitate cutting down trees, or disrupting animal lives and certainly proves to be more environmentally friendly. Secondly, readers of newspapers are likely to receive out-of-date or incorrect information. The process of making a newspaper is long and complicated, involving many stages such as writing, editing, printing and distribution. This means that by the time newspapers hit the shelves, there might be some changes to the events covered and it will already be too late to make any adjustments.

Nevertheless, some are skeptical about the view that newspapers will die out and they argue that newspapers are a more reliable source of information than other types of media such as the Internet. However, the truth is that many journalists today display poor professionalism and low morality. Many do not think twice about writing incorrect information to increase the readership. This shows that the information in the newspapers is not any more trustworthy than on the Internet.

To conclude, these points have strongly corroborated my view that the decline of newspapers is not overstated and there will be no place for newspapers shortly.

 (314 Words)

Band 9 Vocabulary

  • Unquestionably

Meaning: Without a doubt; certainly.

Example: The impact of the Internet on traditional media is unquestionably significant.

  • Sustainable

Meaning: Capable of being maintained over the long term without harming the environment.

Example: Digital media is considered more environmentally sustainable than traditional newspapers.

  • Out-of-date

Meaning: No longer current or applicable; obsolete.

Example: Newspapers may deliver out-of-date information due to the time-consuming production process.

Meaning: Doubtful or questioning the truth of something.

Example: Some individuals are sceptical about the imminent death of newspapers.

  • Professionalism

Meaning: The skill, competence, or character expected of a professional.

Example: The decline of newspapers is sometimes attributed to a lack of professionalism among journalists.

Meaning: Principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong or good and bad behaviour.

Example: The argument is made that some journalists lack morality, contributing to the decline of trust in newspapers.

  • Trustworthy

Meaning: Worthy of trust or confidence; reliable.

Example: The reliability of information in newspapers is questioned due to issues of trust in journalism.

Meaning: Exaggerated or represented as being greater than is reasonable.

Example: The author believes that the decline of newspapers is not overstated and is a genuine concern for the industry.

In the upcoming future, people will not pay money for the physical books and copies because of accessibility for free online content. I completely agree with the statement and in the upcoming paragraphs, I will discuss my point of view regarding my agreement with the provided argument.

First and foremost, digitalization has become part of life. It is very easy and convenient to use. Within just a few clicks, we can get the necessary information on the internet. To get any information or update about any topics we just have to go to the related websites and then find the details about the topic. For example, many people in Nepal visit the Facebook page Routine of Nepal Banda to get news about government, educational, sports rather than going to traditional print-based media. This has led to lesser sales of broad-sheets in Nepal, and this trend is growing day by day.

Secondly, online platforms appear to be eco-friendlier and more cost effective. Online reading helps to reduce the cost of production and distribution as there is no use of raw material like paper, ink and does not require delivery charges. Moreover, for the traditional print media, each year it is estimated that 4 billion to 8 billion trees are cut down to make paper which creates deforestation which is not good for the environment. While the online reading is more sustainable and eco- friendly as it does require raw materials. This trend will also make path to reading on screen more, and buying hardcopies less.

In conclusion, some may argue that there might be a place for printed media but in the future people prefer to choose online reading as it is more environment friendly, easy and convenient rather than traditional print media.

Contemporarily, there is a declining trend in terms of the conventional newspaper subscription. In fact, most readers are showing the inclination to read news online instead of engaging on in print newspaper. Regarding the concurrent trend, I acknowledge my stance that e-newspaper will replace the traditional newspaper as the primary reading source among present readers.

First, there are an assortment of online media streams available for most readers to explore. The well-known and reliable news broadcasting channels such as Al-Jazeera, BBC, CNN, and Bloomberg are largely accessible to public as most online users just need to sign up personal accounts at a much lower subscription cost. As the digital readers are more prevalent nowadays due to high speed of news turnover, they are willing to spend more time online to keep abreast of the latest information. Moreover, the media industry is evolving rapidly in the view of digitalisation era. Hence, the news broadcasters might update the latest news constantly via online medium. By contrast, the journalists fail to update news constantly on the newspapers as it reports the prior news normally. Thus, this reasoning backs up why the popularity of conventional newspaper is receding dramatically. Besides, the paperless society is widely practised among most public readers as they commence in raising awareness about environmental sustainability. The newspaper publication requires significant number of cutting-trees activities to produce papers. On the account of extensive cutting-trees activities, it will pose environmental hazard to a certain extent. In contrast, the omnipresence of electronic media will certainly support the friendly environmental action as it reduces largely the paper requirements for the news publication. Also, the online media is gaining attention from public mass as certain access to news channels is free of charge and people are no longer wasting their money on buying in-print newspaper.

In a nutshell, the media industry is a fast-moving industry as the ubiquity of technology adoption enables online news to gain precedence over traditional media industry. There are various online news platforms feasible for people to search. As the time goes, fast-moving society allows people to choose reading news online instead of reading printed news.

Although more and more people read the news on internet, newspapers will remain the most important source of news for the majority of people. Do you agree or disagree?

As internet has overtaken the traditional ways of communication and passing of information, some individuals still continue to read newspapers to stay up to date with the ongoing events. This essay disagrees that newspapers will remain as a reliable source to a large number of people. Firstly, I will discuss the use of internet worldwide, the level of its reliance to all and secondly, Secondly, I will explain why most people who once had a habit of reading newspapers will soon stop doing so.

To begin with, internet has now become a big boon to everyone everywhere because one can quickly search anything they want to read or know about in just a matter of few seconds. Moreover, majority of the society nowadays are all working professionals and with very little time for themselves, they would prefer going through various news updates on their electronic gadgets while travelling to work by a car or metro as opposed to carrying newspapers in hand, which is way more uncomfortable to read through in crowded or public places. It also applies to students where many schools and universities provide children with tablets to study rather than books as they are easier and light weight. For instance, lecture notes are usually typed down or exported to their devices, which are also handy and fancy.

On the other hand, people who have been reading newspapers will no longer completely rely on them as they have other options and sources to look up to. Furthermore, with technology and its impeccable benefits on the rise, there will be no need to waste dozens of paper every day which can also result in saving paper and less harm to the environment.

To conclude, newspapers were once the most important source of information however, as times are changing and new invents are available, people have also adapted to the change. It might not be in their choice to go back to old ways apart from a very few, who do not know how to use the internet.

Nowadays, e-newspapers have witnessed an upward trend as they are easily accessible to people anytime and anywhere. However, I strongly believe that no online portal can ever replace the effect newspapers have on the audience and hence I completely agree with the given statement. This essay will highlight several reasons of why I consider newspapers to be a major and dominant source of news as compared to e-news.

First of all, newspapers are the most trusted and reliable source of information in comparison to online websites that spread fake news to mislead the people. In recent years, we have witnessed several cases where people tend to believe such news and cause disturbances within the society. For instance, during covid-19 there was intense panic among the people as these websites were spreading wrong information about the increasing number of cases. Secondly, trusted e-news websites cost a monthly subscription which is not affordable to all the people and therefore it can never cover the majority of the audience.

Moreover, e -newspaper are not accessible to rural class where smart -phones have not reached until now. Furthermore, these areas have poor internet facilities which make it clearly not possible for them to read e-news. Hence, online news portal is class dominant and is designed for those section of the people who have good internet facilities and can afford paying for it.

To sum up, although reading newspaper online has attracted a good proportion of population, it can never replace the dominance newspapers have.

In this century, most of the people prefer to read the news online rather than newspapers. This new habit might be unpreferable for some of us.However, I strongly agree the idea that newspapers are less important today. The first reason behind my belief is that in post-modern world order, majority of the people must do their jobs quickly. It is because people in this age are living in a kind of rush hour. It is not only because they have so much work to do, but it is also because burden of the post-modern lifestyle. The anxiety is created by that lifestyle makes post-modern mankind less patient about waiting. Imagine a man who is waiting on the coffee line and reading daily news online. He is not only waiting but also reading without abandon the coffee line to buy a newspaper. The second rationale is that majority of the news webpages are free of change which means you do not have to pay extra amount of money to read old news. As it is well-known new trend is the saving our mother earth’s natural resources! Without wasting nature and harming forests, people can read news. Thanks to the technological developments we can keep trees alive because the trend of reading newspaper is getting lower day by day.

In conclusion, newspapers are losing their significance in front of the technological developments. As an outcome of these developments online news ensure its readers to be more up-to-date and easily access sources. Thus, I believe that newspapers are old-fashioned and lost its popularity comparing the online versions.

News keeps us aware of what is happening in society through different resources. In the modern world, people increasingly favor online news but reading news through newspapers will still retain its importance for the majority of them. In my opinion, newspapers will fade away as the internet provides more convenient and relatable articles.

Nowadays, no one has time to read a newspaper for hours while having coffee or tea in the morning. People prefer to read the news while traveling to and from their workplace or when they get a break. Therefore, the internet eliminates the need of carrying newspapers in a bag and provides the same authentic news on mobile phones. Further, individuals can open lengthy news on one web page instead of turning pages while reading newspapers. For instance, I often read a one-page long article online while commuting to the office because it saves my time and it is easy to read on a single page.

Secondly, web pages have the capability to find posts that are interlinked to previous search results or the topics that people mostly view. However, newspapers have no such intelligence of information segregation. When we search for a particular topic, artificial intelligence saves the search result and on next day it provides an update about the same news. On other hand, a newspaper contains a lot of unwanted news, and the next day article may totally disappear or be hidden in some corner. Therefore, people can personalize their news section more efficiently on the net. To give a lucid example, I am keen to find out updates on the Russia-Ukraine war and thus get news about it on the front page with bold headlines.

To conclude, some people believe that newspapers will maintain their existence compared to the growing popularity of news on the internet. I disagree with this statement, as online resources offering suitable and intelligent reading strategies have long replaced newspapers.

In the future, nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement.

Globalization and civilization have taken a tore on our society today, in that every facet of our existence is being affected by the internet age changes. This inturn have increased the rate information technology services. While some individuals are projecting that printed articles and information will be scrapped because of availability of online news, in my opinion I strongly align to the stated fact and this I shall be expatiating on with some follow up points.

Firstly, the is becoming more streamlined and metamorphosing into a global community, this comes with the 21 century changes that will suit the trend. As a result, individuals will prefer to rather source their information from the social media because it is easily accessible. In addition, there is little or no financial involvement to dig out and read what soever news you choose to. For instance a friend and of mine was preparing for a job interview and in that particular month, a population census was carried out, he envisaged that he might be asked questions related to it so he went online to check for all the facts and datas to that regard, which he got effortlessly. Thus the internet made the searching for information very easy for him.

Secondly, Almost every persons have mobile electronics devices which can browse any information relating to the current affairs of the nation. Moreso, there are numerous news applications that are installed in our electronics, therefore it requires just one click on such softwares to open to all kinds of news outlets. For example statistics shows that eighty percent of mobile phone holders have news applications such as BBC, TVC, NTA, Channels and so on installed in the phone, thereby making it very smooth for them to get hold on any type of happenings they choose to know about.

In conclusion, I have been able to state my reasons while printed articles will be a thing of the past and electronic information technology will be the major source of firsthand information because it is easily accessible, there is little or no financial involvement, also due to the news applications that are installed on every mobile devices.

Band 8+: Newspapers are less important nowadays because we have up-to-date access to the news on the internet. Do you agree or disagree?

In today’s modern world, there is a contentious issue surrounding the relevance of newspapers, as some argue that the internet, with its instant access to news updates, is gradually diminishing the importance of traditional print media. This essay articulates a dissenting perspective and aims to elucidate the reasons behind my strong disagreement with this viewpoint.

Undeniably, newspapers have been the traditional go-to source for news for generations, particularly for the older demographic. The habit of reading newspapers has been deeply ingrained over time, making it challenging for individuals, especially the elderly, to transition away from this familiar medium of staying informed. Elderly individuals, such as our parents, who may not be technologically savvy, often resist turning to the internet for news consumption.

Moreover, proponents of the argument neglect the prevalence of misinformation rampant on the internet. The online sphere is rife with individuals who disseminate false information to garner attention, leading to widespread confusion and anxiety among the populace. A case in point is during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, where numerous inaccurate reports on the death toll circulated online, exacerbating public fear and undermining societal morale. In contrast, newspapers adhere to stringent editorial standards, ensuring that information is rigorously fact-checked and verified before publication, offering readers a reliable and credible source of news.

In conclusion, although the trend of utilizing the internet for news consumption is on the rise, I staunchly maintain that newspapers remain unparalleled in terms of accuracy and enduring popularity. The intrinsic value of newspapers as a trusted and vetted source of information cannot be easily supplanted by the digital advancements of the internet.

Is buying essays online safe?

Shopping through online platforms is a highly controversial issue. Naturally, you cannot be completely sure when placing an order through an unfamiliar site, with which you have never cooperated. That is why we recommend that people contact trusted companies that have hundreds of positive reviews.

As for buying essays through sites, then you need to be as careful as possible and carefully check every detail. Read company reviews on third-party sources or ask a question on the forum. Check out the guarantees given by the specialists and discuss cooperation with the company manager. Do not transfer money to someone else's account until they send you a document with an essay for review.

Good online platforms provide certificates and some personal data so that the client can have the necessary information about the service manual. Service employees should immediately calculate the cost of the order for you and in the process of work are not entitled to add a percentage to this amount, if you do not make additional edits and preferences.
