A Long Paragraph on the Mango

Mangoes are a very healthy fruit, and India is the largest grower of mangoes. Let us help your child write an interesting essay on mango in more elaborate details for class 3:

Mango is my favourite fruit. It is known as the king of all fruits. We have a mango tree at home, which my grandma had planted many years back. It is a very tall tree with a wide trunk. It has big leaves in different shades of green. As summer starts, the tree gets yellow flowers. Then there are tiny baby mangoes that blossom from the flowers. They are very small, like small green beads. Gradually they grow into big fruits. Mangoes have vitamins and minerals and are good for health. They help us to beat the heat. When raw, the mangoes are green in colour. They have a sour taste. When summer is at its peak, my mother makes a mango drink for the whole family by boiling raw mangoes. It acts as a tonic to cool down the body. She also makes a delicious pickle with pieces of raw mango. All of us love to have this pickle with lunch. When the mangoes ripen, they turn yellowish. The ripe mangoes have a sweet taste and a thick fleshy pulp. I love the taste of the ripe mangoes. At home, we make a lot of different dishes with ripened mangoes. Everyone at my house loves mangoes. Sometimes, we skip our dinner and eat lots of mangoes instead. I love the refreshing mango shake my mother makes after I return from school. She also makes delicious mango ice cream. Some days we have mango juice made at home. It is healthier than the bottled mango juice from stores.

The mango fruit has only one big seed. We can’t eat it, but we can surely sow it, and watch it grow into a mango tree. There’s a huge mango tree on the street opposite my house. It helps many people and animals by giving them cool shade on hot summer afternoons. The big leaves of the mango tree also have several uses, one of them being that they’re used for decorations!

Mango is my favourite fruit. I eagerly wait for the summers every year to enjoy this delicious fruit.

My Favourite Fruit Essay

My favourite fruit is mango. It is typically an Indian fruit. It thrives only in India. Attempts to grow it in other parts of the world have been unsuccessful.

The mango is a delicious fruit. It has a golden colour and it simply melts in the mouth. It is very sweet, juicy, and tasty. My father buys us whole baskets of mangoes in May. All of us attack these mangoes with real gusto. They get finished in no time.

We get a wide variety of mangoes in India—from the biggest to the smallest. Some high-quality mangoes are grown only to be exported. But other varieties are made available to us, and we do full justice to them.

My mother prepares jams, fruit juices, squashes, and pickles out of mangoes. For the pickles, of course, she needs raw mangoes. All of us lend her a hand in preparing these things. The mango really has many uses. I shall always enjoy the mango and never tire of its golden goodness and sweetness

English Summary

My Favourite Fruit Essay

Fruits make us very strong and keep us healthy for long. This tells us why we all should eat fruits. I love all the fruits but my favourite is Litchi.

Litchi belongs to the soapberry family. It is oval in shape and a little bigger than grapes in size. It has a red skin outside which is rough and has the white fleshy fruit inside which is eaten.

Litchi has only one seed like Mango. It is available in market in summer season. I love litchi because it is very tasty and juicy. It tastes sweet but not too sweet which I love the most about it because I don’t like fruits which are too sweet or too sour.

In summer, whenever I eat them, I feel refreshed. Litchis are sold in bunches. As they are small fruits, I eat ten litchis at one time. Litchi is rich in vitamin C and it is a good source of fibre and so it is very good for health.

Our family eat Litchis after dinner as dessert. It is a happy moment. We all talk with each other and enjoy eating Litchis. My father knows that I love them and he brings them to me every day in summer.

My mother removes the seed before I eat them. I eat it in a big bowl so that I do not spill its juice on my clothes. Its juice makes hands and clothes sticky. My mother also makes Litchi milkshake for me. Sometimes she also makes Litchi ice-cream or jam for me. I love Litchi in all form.
