తె లుగులో పలు విజయవంతమైన చిత్రాలతో తనకంటూ మంచి గుర్తింపు తెచ్చుకున్నారు హీరో సిద్ధార్థ్‌. కొన్నేళ్లుగా తెలుగు సినిమాలకు దూరమవడంతో ఆ ప్రభ మసకబారింది. రెండేళ్ల క్రితం ఆయన ‘మహాసముద్రం’తో మళ్లీ తెలుగు తెరపైకి రీఎంట్రీ ఇచ్చినా.. ఆశించిన ఫలితం దక్కలేదు. దీంతో ఇప్పుడు విజయమే లక్ష్యంగా ‘టక్కర్‌’తో మరోసారి బాక్సాఫీస్‌ ముందుకొచ్చారు. కార్తిక్‌ జి.క్రిష్‌ తెరకెక్కించిన చిత్రమిది. దివ్యాన్ష కథానాయికగా నటించింది. మరి టీజర్, ట్రైలర్లతో అంచనాలు పెంచిన ఈ సినిమా థియేటర్లో ప్రేక్షకులకు ఎలాంటి అనుభూతిని పంచింది?(Takkar movie review) ఈ సినిమాతోనైనా సిద్ధార్థ్‌ హిట్‌ ట్రాక్‌ ఎక్కడా? లేదా?

కథేంటంటే: గుణశేఖర్‌ (సిద్ధార్థ్‌) ఓ పేద ఇంట్లో పుట్టిన కుర్రాడు. తన జీవితంలో ఎదుర్కొంటున్న కష్టాలు, అవమానాలకు ఆ పేదరికమే కారణమని బాధ పడుతుంటాడు. అందుకే ఎలాగైనా డబ్బు సంపాదించి కోటీశ్వరుడు అవ్వాలన్న ఉద్దేశంతో వైజాగ్‌కు వచ్చి.. చైనా వ్యక్తి వద్ద డ్రైవర్‌గా పని చేస్తుంటాడు. ఓరోజు అనుకోకుండా ఆ కారుకు యాక్సిడెంట్‌ అవ్వడంతో.. గుణ యజమాని తనని తీవ్రంగా కొట్టి, దారుణంగా అవమానిస్తాడు. (Takkar movie review) దీంతో జీవితం మీద విరక్తి చెంది ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకోవాలని నిర్ణయించుకుంటాడు. ఈ క్రమంలోనే వైజాగ్‌లోనే పేరు మోసిన రాజ్‌ (అభిమన్యు సింగ్‌) అనే పెద్ద క్రిమినల్‌ అడ్డాకు వెళ్తాడు. అనంతరం అనుకోని పరిస్థితుల్లో అక్కడున్న రౌడీల్ని కొట్టి.. వాళ్ల కారును ఎత్తుకొచ్చేస్తాడు. అయితే ఆ కారు డిక్కీలో లక్కీ అలియాస్‌ మహాలక్ష్మీ (దివ్యాన్ష కౌశిక్‌) ఉంటుంది. మరి ఆమె ఎవరు? తనని రాజ్‌ ఎందుకు కిడ్నాప్‌ చేశాడు? ఆమె గుణ జీవితంలోకి ప్రవేశించాక ఏం జరిగింది?(Takkar movie review)  కోటీశ్వరుడు అవ్వాలన్న లక్ష్యంతో జీవిస్తున్న గుణకు ఆమె ఎలా ఉపయోగపడింది? వీళ్లిద్దరూ ఎలా ప్రేమలో పడ్డారు? రాజ్‌ గ్యాంగ్‌ నుంచి ఎలా తప్పించుకున్నారు? అన్నది తెలియాలంటే సినిమా చూడాల్సిందే!

ఎలా ఉందంటే: ఓ పేదింట పుట్టిన కుర్రాడు.. షాట్‌కట్‌లో కోటీశ్వరుడు అయ్యేందుకు ఎలాంటి ప్రయత్నాలు చేశాడు? ఈ క్రమంలో ఓ అమ్మాయి అతని జీవితాన్ని ఎలా మలుపు తిప్పింది? వారిద్దరూ కలిసి చేసిన ప్రేమ ప్రయాణం ఎలా సాగింది? అన్నది క్లుప్తంగా ఈ చిత్ర కథాంశం. నిజానికి ఈ లైన్‌ను దర్శకుడు ‘ఆవారా’ తరహాలో రోడ్‌ జర్నీ యాక్షన్‌ థ్రిల్లర్‌లా మలచాలని ప్రయత్నించాడు. అందుకు అవసరమైన మసాలాలన్నీ కథలో సెట్‌ చేసుకున్నాడు. కానీ, వాటన్నింటినీ సరిగ్గా మేళవించి ఓ పసందైన వంటకాన్ని సిద్ధం చేయడంలో మాత్రం పూర్తిగా ఫెయిలయ్యాడు. సినిమా తొలి 20నిమిషాలే కాస్తలో కాస్తంత కాలక్షేపాన్నిస్తుంది. అక్కడి నుంచి ముగింపు వరకు మిగతా కథనమంతా తెగిన గాలిపటంలా సాగుతుంది. సినిమా ఆద్యంతం సిద్ధార్థ్‌ పిల్లి గెడ్డం లుక్‌తో కనిపిస్తారు. ఆ లుక్‌కూ పేదరికమే కారణమన్నట్లుగా సినిమాలో ఓ ఎపిసోడ్‌ సెట్‌ చేశారు. (Takkar movie review) ఈ కథను దర్శకుడు ఎంత సిల్లీగా తీర్చిదిద్దుకున్నాడో చెప్పటానికి ఈ ఎపిసోడ్‌ ఓ మచ్చుతునక.

కోటీశ్వరుడవ్వాలన్న లక్ష్యంతో హీరో వైజాగ్‌కు రావడం.. టాక్సీ  డ్రైవర్‌గా పనిచేయడం.. ఈ ప్రయాణంలోనూ రకరకాల అవమానాలు.. ఇలా కథ చాలా నెమ్మదిగా సాగుతూ పోతుంది. కోటీశ్వరుడయ్యేందుకు హీరో ఎప్పుడైతే అడ్డదారి తొక్కాలని ప్రయత్నిస్తాడో.. అక్కడి నుంచి కథ కాస్త వేగం పుంజుకుంటుంది. ఈ క్రమంలో ఓ కిడ్నాప్‌ గ్యాంగ్‌ను పోలీసుల నుంచి తప్పించేందుకు హీరో చేసే ప్రయత్నం ఆసక్తిరేకెత్తిస్తుంది. ఈ కారు ఛేజింగ్‌ ఎపిసోడ్‌ ఆద్యంతం ఉత్కంఠభరితంగా తీర్చిదిద్దారు. అయితే, ప్రథమార్ధానికి విరామమిచ్చిన తీరు అంతగా ఆకట్టుకోదు. ఇక సెకండాఫ్‌ మొత్తం నాయకానాయికలు కలిసి ఎలా ప్రయాణం చేశారు? వారి మధ్య ప్రేమ ఎలా చిగురించింది? వీరిద్దరినీ పట్టుకునేందుకు రాజ్‌ తన గ్యాంగ్‌తో ఎలాంటి ప్రయత్నాలు చేశాడు?(Takkar movie review) ఈ గ్యాంగ్‌ నుంచి వారెలా తప్పించుకున్నారు? అన్న అంశాల చుట్టూ తిరుగుతుంది. అయితే వీటిలో ఏ ఒక్క సీక్వెన్సూ ప్రేక్షకుల్ని ఆకట్టుకోదు. నాయకానాయికల ప్రేమలో ఏమాత్రం ఫీల్‌ కనిపించదు. అలాగే హీరో - విలన్‌ల మధ్య బలమైన సంఘర్షణ ఉండదు. ప్రతినాయకుడి పాత్ర మరీ డమ్మీగా కనిపిస్తుంది. ప్రధమార్ధంలో సహనానికి పరీక్షలా నిలిచిన యోగిబాబు కామెడీ.. ద్వితీయార్ధంలో కాస్త అక్కడక్కడా నవ్వులు పూయిస్తుంది. పతాక సన్నివేశాలు బాగా నిరుత్సాహపరుస్తాయి. సినిమాని ముగించిన తీరు ఏమాత్రం మెప్పించదు.

ఎవరెలా చేశారంటే: గుణశేఖర్‌గా సిద్ధార్థ్‌ ఓకే. యాక్షన్, ఎమోషన్స్‌ సీన్స్‌ను తన అనుభవంతో అవలీలగా చేసుకుంటూ వెళ్లిపోయారు. అయితే ఇంత పేలవమైన కథను ఎందుకు చేయాలనుకున్నారో అసలు అర్థం కాదు. దివ్యాన్ష తెరపై అందంగా కనిపించింది. బోల్డ్‌ నటనతో రొమాంటిక్‌ సన్నివేశాల్లో చెలరేగిపోయింది. (Takkar movie review) ప్రతినాయకుడిగా అభిమన్యు సింగ్‌ పాత్ర ఆరంభంలో బలంగా కనిపించినా.. ద్వితీయార్ధానికి వచ్చే సరికి పూర్తిగా డమ్మీ అయిపోయింది. యోగిబాబు కామెడీ అక్కడక్కడా కాసిన్ని నవ్వులు పూయించింది. దర్శకుడు రాసుకున్న కథలో బలమైన లైన్‌ లేదు. దాని చుట్టూ నడిపిన కథ కూడా అంతే పేలవంగా ఉంది. పాటలు ఏ ఒక్కటీ గుర్తుంచుకునేలా లేవు. నిర్మాణ విలువలు కథకు తగ్గట్లుగా ఉన్నాయి.

Handsome hero Siddharth is now back with a film named Takkar. Divyansha Kaushik played the female lead, and the film is directed by Karthik G Krish. The film hit the screens today and let’s see how it is.

Distressed by the poor economic status of his family, Gunasekhar (Siddharth) decides to make it big in life. He goes to Vizag and starts doing petty jobs but faces bullying wherever he works. When life offers him a chance to become rich, Gunasekhar decides to grab it despite the unlawful nature of the work. But he fails to do it and lands in problems. What did Gunasekhar do next? How did the entry of Lucky (Divyansha Kaushik), a rich girl, into Gunasekhar’s life change his fate? This forms part of the crux of the story.

Plus Points:

The movie starts on an interesting note, with Siddharth trying to commit suicide. Then the flashback portion begins, and it establishes the role of the protagonist neatly. Scenes featuring workplace bullying have come quite well, and they help us connect with Siddharth’s character. Hence the wrong path he chooses to earn big seems justifiable.

Siddharth carries the film all the way on his shoulders. He is seen throughout the movie, and the actor gives a sincere performance as a youngster who wants to get rid of poverty. His comedy timing is neat, and the actor still has that charm in him. Divyansha is okay in her role that focuses more on skin show. A couple of action set pieces and a few comedy scenes offer the respite.

Minus Points:

It is surprising what made the talented cast choose this script which doesn’t have enough meat. Neither the film has a good love track nor any thrilling moments. Siddharth and other actors try hard to infuse life in this lifeless action thriller, but ultimately they can’t save this ship from sinking.

As there is hardly any story in Takkar, it is important that the narrative must be highly engaging to hook the audience. Unfortunately, the storytelling is even weaker and is sure to test the patience levels big time. In order to keep the proceedings going, the director adds comedy portions involving Yogi Babu and Munishkanth. The entire episode in the first half featuring Yogi Babu is irritating and unbearable. The bad dubbing for Yogi Babu adds to the woes.

A couple of comedy scenes are okay, but the rest of the fun portions are pretty annoying. The first half was a bit bearable, but the entire second half was a complete mess with many boring scenes. Abhimanyu Singh is absolutely wasted in a poorly written role. The length of the film is one more drawback, as close to fifteen minutes should have been chopped off.

Technical Aspects:

Nivas K Prasanna’s songs are forgettable, and the background score, too, doesn’t help the film. The cinematography by Murugesan is decent. The production values are okay. The editing is below-par as the movie is dragged out for no reason. The VFX works are substandard, especially in the chase sequences.

Coming to the writer-director, Karthik G Krish, he did a poor job with Takkar. He gets it wrong completely with the story and screenplay, and hence even the skillful actors couldn’t do much. The movie is filled with many boring and dull scenes, which just add to the length. Had the director concentrated on the storytelling, the film could have at least been a watchable fare.

On the whole, Takkar is a forgettable outing that barely has any engaging moments. The weak plot and the dull narrative tests the patience levels big time. Siddharth performs well, and there are a couple of good action set pieces. But apart from that, the movie is a disappointing fare. You can skip it.

లవర్ బాయ్ ఇమేజ్ నుంచి బయటపడి కొత్తగా సదరు మాస్ హీరో మాదిరిగా ఏదో చెయ్యాలనే తపన సిద్దార్థ్ లో బయలుదేరింది. ఆ మధ్యన "మహాసముద్రం" లో మునిగి ఇప్పుడు ఈ "టక్కర్" తో ఎదురుపడ్డాడు. పైగా ఇది హిట్ సినిమాల బ్యానర్ గా పేరున్న పీపుల్స్ మీడియా వారి చిత్రం. విషయమేంటో చూద్దాం.

కథలోకి వెళితే గుణశేఖర్ (సిద్దార్థ్) బాగా డబ్బు సంపాదించాలనే ఆశతో వైజాగ్ లో ల్యాండ్ అవుతాడు. చిన్నా చితకా ఉద్యోగాలతో అవమానాలు ఎదుర్కుని విసిగిపోతాడు. మొత్తానికి కాస్త మంచి జీతం వచ్చే క్యాబ్ డ్రైవర్ గా సెటిల్ అవుతాడు. 

ఈలోగా బాగా డబ్బున్న లక్కీ (దివ్యాన్ష) ఆకర్షణలో పడతాడు. ఇంతలో ఆమె కిడ్నాప్ కి గురౌతుంది. కిడ్నాప్ చేసింది ఒక మాఫియా గ్యాంగ్. అనుకోకుండా గుణశేఖర్ అదే మాఫియా గ్యాంగుతో చిన్న గొడవపడి ఒక కారుని ఎత్తుకెళ్తాడు. ఆ కారు డిక్కీలోనే లక్కీని కిడ్నాప్ చేసి ఉంచారు ఈ గ్యాంగ్. మొత్తానికి అక్కడినుంచి మాఫియా గ్యాంగ్ నుంచి ఈ జంట ఎలా తప్పించుకుంటారు? వారి మధ్య ప్రేమ ఎలా చిగురిస్తుంది? ఇది తక్కిన కథ.

ఇంత సాదాసీదా కథని పట్టుకుని కథనాన్ని అల్లాలంటే చాలా కసరత్తు చెయ్యాలి. చేయి తిరిగిన స్క్రీన్ ప్లే, అదిరిపోయే డైలాగ్స్ ఉంటే తప్ప ఆడియన్స్ కి కూర్చోపెట్టడం కష్టం. బహుశా ఆ రెండూ పుష్కలంగా ఉన్నాయనుకునే తీసిన వాళ్లు తీయడానికి దిగి ఉండొచ్చు. కానీ అవి ఎంత పేలవంగా ఉన్నాయో ప్రేక్షకుల దయనీయ స్థితిని చూస్తే అర్ధమవుతుంది.  

ఏ సినిమాలోనైనా ఫష్టాఫ్, సెకండాఫుల్లో ఒకటి ఒకదానికంటే పర్వాలేదు అని చెప్పడానికుంటుంది. కానీ ఈ దర్శకుడు ఆ అవకాశాన్ని ఇవ్వలేదు. ఏ హాఫుకి అన్యాయం చేయకుండా రెండింటినీ పూర్తిగా పొడుకోబెట్టేసాడు. ఆద్యంతం విసుగు తెప్పించే అత్యంత ఘోరమైన చిత్రంగా నిలిచిపోయేవిధంగా మలిచాడు దర్శకుడు. విషయపరిజ్ఞానం లేకనో, ప్రేక్షకులని బాగా తక్కువ అంచనా వేస్తేనో తప్ప ఇలాంటి సినిమా తీయడం అసాధ్యం. 

టెక్నికల్ గా తీసుకుంటే కెమెరా వర్క్, నిర్మాణ విలువలు బాగానే ఉన్నాయి. ఇక ఫైటింగులైతే చిరాకు పెట్టిస్తాయి. ఒకే ఒక్క పాట మినహా మిగిలిన సంగీతమంతా ట్రాషే. తక్కిన టెక్నికాల్ అంశాలగురుంచి చెప్పుకోవడం దండగ.  ఇంత కాలం చెల్లిన కామెడీ ట్రాక్, దయనీయమైన దర్శకత్వం, జీడిపాకంలా సాగే కథనం వెరసి ప్రేక్షకుల సహనాన్ని పరీక్షిస్తాయి.

కథకి, కథనానికి, సంభాషణలకి ఎక్కడా పొంతన లేకుండా, పాత్రలకి, క్యారెక్టరైజేషన్స్ కి లింకు లేకుండా సాగిన చిత్రమిది. 

ఉదాహరణకి సిద్ధార్థ్ ఓనర్ చూడ్డానికి చైనా వాడిలా ఉంటాడు. ఎప్పుడు మాట్లాడినా శీర్షాసనం వేసుకుని మాట్లాదుతుంటాడు. అదెందుకో అర్థం కాదు. అలాగే అంతర్జాతీయ మాఫియాకి చెందిన ఒక మెయిన్ విలన్ సడెన్ గా యోగిబాబుతో వెర్రికామెడీ చేస్తాడు. ఇదెందుకో అస్సలు అర్థమవ్వదు. క్యారెక్టర్స్ కి, క్యారెక్టరైజేషన్స్ కి లింకు లేకపోవడమంటే ఇదే. 

సిద్దార్థ్ ఎప్పటిలాగానే చేసినా గెడ్డంతో కనిపించి కాస్త కొత్తగా ఉన్నాడు. అయినప్పటికీ మాస్ హీరో లుక్కు వెతికినా ఇతనిలో కనపడలేదు. ఈ పాత్రకి ఇతను ఫిట్ కాదు.

దివ్యాన్ష పాత్ర చాలా వీక్ గా ఉంది. యోగిబాబు కామెడీ తేలిపోయింది. అభిమన్యు సింగ్ రొటీన్ గా ఉన్నాడు. 

ఈ చిత్రరాజాన్ని చివరిదాకా విసుగు చెందకుండా చూసిన ప్రేక్షకులకి ఫైవ్ స్టార్ రేటింగ్ ఇవ్వొచ్చు. మంచి చిత్రాలే కాదు, ఇలాంటి దారుణమైన సినిమాల్ని కూడా అందించగలమని నిరూపించుకున్న పీపుల్స్ మీడియాకి, అభిషేక్ అగరవాల్ ని ప్రత్యేకంగా సత్కరించొచ్చు. 

సాధారణంగా సినిమా బాగోగపోతే తలనొప్పో, తలబొప్పో అంటాం. కానీ "టక్కర్" అంటేని గుద్దుకోవడం. ఈ సినిమాకెళ్తే సీటు బెల్టు లేకుండ 90 స్పీడులో డ్రైవ్ చేసి దేనినో గుద్దుకున్న అనుభూతి కలుగుతుంది. ఇక మీ ఇష్టం.

Takkar Movie Review:టక్కర్ మూవీ రివ్యూ.. సిద్దార్ధ్ అనుకున్నది సాధించాడా..?

ఒకప్పుడు తన నోటి దురుసువల్ల టాలీవుడ్ లో అవకాశాలు కోల్పోయిన హీరో సిద్దార్ధ్.. ఇప్పుడు మళ్ళీ తెలుగులో యాక్టీవ్ అవ్వాలి అని చూస్తున్నాడు అందులో భాగంగానే .. తమిళ్ లో తాను నటించిన టక్కర్ మూవీని తెలుగులో కూడా రిలీజ్ చేస్తున్నాడు. ఈరోజు(09 జూన్) రిలీజ్ అవుతున్న ఈమూవీ ప్రీమియర్ షోస్ యూఎస్ లో సందడి చేస్తున్నాయి. మరి మూవీ రివ్యూ ఏంటో చూసేద్దామా..?   

ఒకప్పటి లవర్ బాయ్ సిద్ధార్థ్ ప్రయోగాలు చేస్తున్నారు. విజయాల కోసం అన్ని రకాల సబ్జెక్ట్స్ ట్రై చేస్తున్నారు. ఆయన నటించిన లేటెస్ట్ మూవీ టక్కర్. యాక్షన్ క్రైమ్ డ్రామాగా తెరకెక్కింది. సిద్ధార్థ్, దివ్వాన్ష కౌశిక్ జంటగా నటించిన ఈసినిమాలో సిద్దు కంప్లీట్ డిఫరెంట్ అవతారం లో కనిపిస్తున్నారు. 

కార్తీక్ జి క్రిష్ దర్శకత్వం వహించిన టక్కర్ చిత్రాన్నితెలుగులో టీవీ విశ్వప్రసాద్ విడుదల చేస్తున్నారు. తెలుగు, తమిళ భాషల్లో రిలీజ్ అవుతున్న  టక్కర్ సినిమాకు  నివాస్ కే ప్రసాద్ మ్యూజిక్ అందించారు. యోగిబాబు కీలక కీలకపాత్రలో కనిపించగా.. ఈసినిమా నుంచి వచ్చిన ప్రతీ అప్ డేట్ మూవీపై ఇంట్రెస్ట్ ను క్రియేట్ చేసింది. 

ఇక కథ విషయానికి వస్తే.. ఎలాగైనా డబ్బులు సంపాదించాలనే పేద యువకుడి పాత్రలో సిద్దార్ధ్ నటించారు. డబ్బు సంపాదన కోసం, ధనవంతుడు కావాలన్న ఆశతో ఆ యువకుడు ఎలాంటి రూట్ ను ఎంచుకున్నాడు. వాటి వల్ల పర్వవసానాలు ఏంటీ.. ఎలాంటి చిక్కులు ఎదుర్కొన్నాడు అనేది కథ.  సినిమాలో మాఫీయా, యాక్షన్ తో పాటు సిద్దార్ధ్ రొమాన్స్ డోస్ కూడా గట్టిగా ఇచ్చాడీ సినిమాలో. 

సిద్ధార్థ్ అంటే అందరికి ఇప్పటికీ బొమ్మరిల్లు క్యూట్ లుక్ కనిపిస్తుంది. లేదంటే.. నువ్వోస్తానంటే నేనోద్దంటానా లో ఉన్నట్టుగా లేత కుర్రాడి ఆకారం మదిలో మెదులుతుంది కాని ఈసినిమాలో సిద్దు లుక్ కంప్లీట్ డిఫరెంట్ గా ఉంది. అసలు ఆయన సిద్దునేనా అనేలా ఉన్నాడీ సినిమాలో. అంతే కాదు సినిమాలో సిద్దార్ధ్ పర్ఫామెన్స్ కూడా అంతంత మాత్రంగానే ఉంది. ఏదో చేయాలని ఆత్రంలో.. ఇంకేదో చేసేశాడు హీరో. 

ఈసినిమా ఫస్ట్ హాప్ కొంత వరకూ చూడగలిగేలా ఉన్నా.. సెకండ్ హాఫ్ మాత్రం కంప్లీట్ గా సినిమాపై హోప్ లెస్ గా ఉంటుంది. ఫస్ట్ హాఫ్ చూసి.. కాస్త బెటర్ గా ఉంది.. సెకండ్ హాఫ్ ఇంకాస్త బెటర్ గా ఉంటుంది అనుకుంటే పొరపాటే.. ముఖ్యంగా  కథలో విలన్ పాత్ర  కన్విన్సింగ్‌గా లేదు. ఇక అన్నింటికంటే ఇంపార్టెంట్ సిద్దు. ఈసినిమాకు సిద్దు పెర్ఫామెన్స్ ఏమాత్రం ప్లస్ అవ్వలేదు. 

అంతే కాదు సిద్దార్థ్ స్క్రీన్ ప్రజెన్స్ ఆడిమన్స్ ను ఏమాత్రం ఆకట్టుకోలేకపోయిందన్న విమర్షలు వినిపిస్తున్నాయి.  టక్కర్ ఫస్ట్ హాఫ్‌లో ఏమాత్రం పసలేని సన్నివేశాలు , ఓవర్-ది-టాప్ యాక్షన్ బ్లాక్‌లు ఎక్కువగా ఉన్నాయి. సిద్దు ఎంట్రీ తరువాత వెంటనే కొద్దిసేపటికి ప్లాప్ బ్యాక్ సీన్ ఓపెన్ అవుతుంది. 

ఇక ఈసినిమాలో యాక్షన్ పాళ్ళు ఎక్కువగానే  ఉన్నాయి.. మాఫియా బ్యాక్ డ్రాప్ సీన్లతో పాటు.. అడల్ట్ కంటెంట్ కి కూడా కొదవలేదు. హీరోయిన్ దివ్యాన్ష తో కలిసి సిద్దు.. బెడ్  సీన్స్, లిప్ లాక్ సన్నివేశాలలో సిద్దార్థ్ రెచ్చిపోయి నటించాడు. ఆమెతో సిద్దార్థ్ బోల్డ్ సన్నివేశాలు సెగలు పుట్టిస్తాయి అనిచెప్పాలి. ఈసారి సక్సెస్ కోసం.. సిద్దులో కనిపించిన కొత్త కోణం ఇది అని చెప్పోచ్చు.   

ఇక కార్తీక్ జి క్రిష్ డైరెక్షన్ కాని.. నివాస్ మ్యూజిక్ కాని.. సినిమాకు ఏమాత్రం ప్లస్ అవ్వలేదనే చెప్పాలి. సిద్దార్థ్  కోసం సినిమాకి వెళ్లిన వారికి రకరకాల అనుభవాలు మాత్రం మిగులుతాయి అనడంతో ఆశ్చర్యం లేదు. మహాసముద్రం సినిమాతో రీ ఎంట్రీ ఇచ్చి.. తెలుగు తెరపై మళ్లీ బిజీ అవుదామనుకున్నాడుసిద్దు.  మరి ఈసినిమా ఈరోజు రిలీజ్అయ్యి.. ఓవర్ ఆల్ రివ్యూ ఎలా ఉంటుందో చూడాలి.

Takkar Movie Review: సిద్ధార్థ్ పేరు వినగానే ‘బొమ్మరిల్లు, నువ్వొస్తానంటే నేనొద్దంటానా’ వంటి పలు హిట్ చిత్రాలు గుర్తుకు వస్తాయి. అయితే ఆ తర్వాత వరుస పరాజయాలతో ఇటు తెలుగు అటు తమిళంలో ఫామ్  కోల్పోయిన సిద్ధార్థ్ పూర్వ వైభవం కోసం తాపత్రయపడుతున్నాడు. ‘మహాసముద్రం’తో రీఎంట్రీ ఇచ్చినా  సక్సెస్ అందుకోలేక పోయాడు. తాజాగా తను నటించిన తమిళ సినిమా ‘టక్కర్’ తెలుగులో అనువాదమై ఆడియన్స్ ముందుకు వచ్చింది. ఆ సినిమాకు ఎలాంటి స్పందన లభిస్తుందో చూద్దాం.

కథ విషయానికి వస్తే గుణశేఖర్ (సిద్దార్థ్) పేదింటి కుర్రాడు. దాంతో డబ్బు సంపాదన కోసం పుట్టిన ఊరు నుంచి వైజాగ్ వస్తాడు. డబ్బు సంపాదనలో భాగంగా రకరకాల జాబ్స్ చేసినా తన కోపం వల్ల ఏ ఉద్యోగంలోనూ కుదురుకోలేక పోతాడు. అలా కాదని బెంజ్ కారును ట్యాక్సీగా నడుపుతుంటాడు. అయితే ఓ ప్రమాదం వల్ల కారు డ్యామేజ్ అయి యజమాని చేతిలో దెబ్బలు, తిట్లు తిని ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకోవాలని అనుకుంటాడు. ధైర్యం సరిపోక రౌడీ మూకల వద్దకు వెళితే వారే చంపేస్తారని భావిస్తాడు. అయితే అసంకల్పిత ప్రతీకారచర్య తో ఆ రౌడీలను కొట్టి వారి కారు తీసుకుని పారిపోతాడు. ఆ కారు డిక్కీలో రౌడీలు కిడ్నాప్ చేసిన ఓ అమ్మాయి ఉంటుంది. అంతే ఒక్కసారిగా సీన్ రివర్స్ అవుతుంది. అసలా అమ్మాయి ఎవరు? తనని ఎవరు, ఎందుకు కిడ్నాప్ చేస్తారు? ఆపై గుణశేఖర్ జీవితం ఎలాంటి మలుపులు తిరగిందన్నదే మిగతా కథ.

సిద్దార్థ్ నటించిన ఈ రోమ్ క్యామ్ మూవీ ‘టక్కర్’ ఏ సన్నివేశంలోనూ ఆకట్టుకునేలా సాగక పోవడం విశేషం. అసలు సిద్దూ గెటప్ తోనే ఆడియన్స్ ఇన్ వాల్వ్ మెంట్ను దూరం చేశాడు దర్శకుడు కార్తీక్ క్రిష్‌. ఏదో సాధించి ఎత్తుకు ఎదగాలనుకున్న హీరోను ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకోవాలనుకునే పిరికి వాడిగా చూపించటంలోనే దర్శకుడు తనేం చెప్పదలచుకున్నాడో అది పూర్తిగా మిస్ అయ్యాడు. చావటానికి ధైర్యం లేని హీరో రౌడీల వద్దకు వెళ్ళి చావాలనుకోవడం, వెంటనే వారి మీద తిరగబడి చితకబాదేయడం దర్శకుడు బుర్రనుంచి వచ్చిన బహు విచిత్రాలు. కిడ్నాప్ అయిన హీరోయిన్ తో హీరో ప్రేమ. ఆ తర్వాత పెళ్ళికాకుండానే వారి శోభనం మొదలైనవి ఆయన దరిద్రపు టేకింగ్ కి పరాకాష్ట.

ఇమేజ్ కు భిన్నమైన పాత్ర చేసిన సిద్ధార్థ్ సైతం ఆడియన్స్ కు కనెక్ట్ కాలేకపోయాడు. ఇందులో తన లుక్ గురించి ఎంత తక్కువ చెప్పకుంటే అంత మంచిది. హీరోయిన్ గా దివ్యాంశ కౌశిక్ చూడటానికి బాగున్నా ఆ పాత్రలో ఎలాంటి వైవిధ్యం లేకోవడంతో అంతగా ఆకట్టుకోదు. విలన్ పాత్రలో అభిమన్యు సింగ్, కామెడీ పాత్రలో యోగిబాబు ఎలాంటి ప్రభావం చూపించలేక పోయారనే చెప్పాలి. ఇక ఈ సినిమాలోని పాటల్లో ఏ ఒక్కటి మళ్ళీ హమ్ చేసుకునేలా లేదు. నిర్మాణ విలువలు సోసో. ఈ తరహా సినిమాను పీపుల్స్ మీడియా వారు ఎందుకు రిలీజ్ చేశారో వారికే తెలియాలి. వరుస సినిమాలతో జోరుమీదున్న ఈ సంస్థ ఇలాంటి సినిమాలను ఎటెమ్ట్ చేస్తూ పోతే వారి రిపుటేషన్ దెబ్బతినటం ఖాయం. సో బికేర్ ఫుల్.

హిట్టూ ఫ్లాపులతో సంబంధం లేకుండా సిద్ధార్థ్ (Siddharth)ను అభిమానించే ప్రేక్షకులు తెలుగులోనూ ఉన్నారు. 'బొమ్మరిల్లు'తో పాటు ఆయన చేసిన కొన్ని సినిమాలే అందుకు కారణం. ఆయనలు లవర్ బాయ్ ఇమేజ్ ఉంది. అది పక్కన పెట్టి మాస్ హీరోగా ఎదగాలని చేసిన ప్రయత్నమే 'టక్కర్' (Takkar Movie 2023). ఇందులో 'మజిలీ', 'మైఖేల్' సినిమాల ఫేమ్ దివ్యాంశ కౌశిక్ హీరోయిన్. తెలుగు, తమిళ భాషల్లో నేడు విడుదలైన ఈ సినిమా ఎలా ఉంది?

కథ (Takkar Movie Story) : గుణశేఖర్ (సిద్ధార్థ్) పేద కుటుంబంలో జన్మిస్తాడు. తాను పేదవాడిగా చావకూడదని, డబ్బు సంపాదించాలని విశాఖకు వస్తాడు. బెంజ్ కార్ / క్యాబ్ డ్రైవర్‌గా ఉద్యోగం చేయడం ప్రారంభిస్తాడు. విశాఖలో రాజ్ (అభిమన్యు సింగ్) పెద్ద క్రిమినల్. అమ్మాయిలను కిడ్నాప్ చేసి... విదేశాలలో వ్యక్తులకు అమ్మేయడం లేదంటే వాళ్ళ తల్లిదండ్రుల దగ్గర ఎక్కువ డబ్బు తీసుకుని వదిలేయడం అతడి వృత్తి. జీవితంలోని ప్రతి అడుగులో అవమానాలు ఎదురు కావడంతో ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకోవాలనుకున్న గుణశేఖర్... రాజ్ అడ్డాకు వెళ్లి అక్కడ ఉన్న రౌడీలను కొట్టి వాళ్ళ కారు కొట్టేసి వస్తాడు. ఆ కారు డిక్కీలో ఉన్న లక్కీ అలియాస్ మహాలక్ష్మి (దివ్యాంశ కౌశిక్) ఉంటుంది. 

రాజ్ మనుషులను గుణశేఖర్ ఎందుకు కొట్టాడు? లక్కీతో పరిచయం తర్వాత అతడి జీవితంలో వచ్చిన మార్పు ఏమిటి? అసలు ఆమెను తొలిసారి ఎక్కడ చూశాడు? కోట్లకు వారసురాలైన లక్కీకి సమస్యలు ఏమిటి? ఇంట్లో చూసిన పెళ్లి సంబంధం ఎందుకు వద్దని చెబుతుంది? గుణశేఖర్, లక్కీ ఎప్పుడు ప్రేమలో పడ్డారు? రాజ్ అండ్ రౌడీలను తప్పించుకుని ఎలా బయట పడ్డారు? అనేది సినిమా. 

విశ్లేషణ (Takkar Movie Review) : సిద్ధార్థ్ కెరీర్‌లో ఫ్లాప్స్ ఉన్నాయి. కానీ, ప్రేక్షకుల్లో అతడి ఇమేజ్ డ్యామేజ్ చేసే సినిమాలు లేవని చెప్పాలి. ఆ లోటు 'టక్కర్' భర్తీ చేసేలా ఉంది. 'నువ్వొస్తానంటే నేనొద్దంటానా', 'బొమ్మరిల్లు' తర్వాత తెలుగులో సిద్ధార్థ్ పేరు చెబితే ఆడియన్స్ ఊగిపోయిన రోజులు ఉన్నాయి. ఆ స్టార్ ఇమేజ్ తెలియని ఈ తరం ప్రేక్షకులు ఎవరైనా 'టక్కర్' చూస్తే... 'సిద్ధార్థ్‌కు అంత ఫ్యాన్ ఫాలోయింగ్ ఎలా వచ్చింది?' అని ఆశ్చర్యపోవచ్చు.

'టక్కర్' థియేటర్లలో అడుగు పెట్టిన కాసేపటికి ప్రేక్షకులకు ఓ సందేహం వస్తుంది. 'అసలు సిద్ధార్థ్ ఈ కథను ఎలా అంగీకరించారు?' అని! 'ఆ లుక్ ఎలా ఓకే చేశారు?' అని! ప్రయోగాలు చేయడంలో తప్పు లేదు. సిద్ధార్థ్ ఇమేజ్ ముందు మీసాలు తీసేసి, పిల్లి గడ్డం పెట్టుకున్న ఆ లుక్ యాక్సెప్ట్ చేసేలా లేదు. కథలో 'ఆవారా' ఛాయలు ఎక్కువ కనిపించాయి. అటు యాక్షన్, ఇటు రొమాన్స్, మధ్యలో కామెడీ... ఏదీ సరిగా లేదు. సగం సగం సీన్లతో తీసిన సినిమాలా ఉంది.

'టక్కర్'ను యాక్షన్ థ్రిల్లర్ తరహాలో తీయాలా? లేదంటే కామెడీతో మిక్స్ చేసి యాక్షన్ ఎంటర్టైనర్ చేయాలా? రొమాంటిక్ సీన్లు రెండు మూడు పెడితే జనం చూస్తారా? అని దర్శకుడు కన్ఫ్యూజ్ అయ్యారు. యాక్షన్ సీన్స్ బాగా తీశారు. యోగిబాబు కామెడీ సీన్లు కథకు అడ్డు తగిలాయి. పాటలు ఓకే. అయితే, సరైన సందర్భం లేకుండా పాటలు వచ్చాయి. పార్టులు పార్టులుగా చూస్తే సినిమాలో కొన్ని సీన్లు బావుంటాయి. కానీ, కథగా చూస్తే అతుకుల బొంతలా ఉంది. 'టక్కర్'లో ప్రేక్షకులు ఫీలయ్యే కొత్తదనం ఏదైనా ఉందంటే... అది సిద్ధార్థ్ చేసే యాక్షన్ సీక్వెన్సులు! కార్ ఛేజింగ్ సీన్లు బావున్నాయి. హాలీవుడ్ రిఫరెన్సులతో వాటిని తీసినట్టు అనిపించినా ఎంటర్టైన్ చేస్తాయి. 

నటీనటులు ఎలా చేశారు? : నటుడిగా సిద్ధార్థ్ ఎప్పుడో పేరు తెచ్చుకున్నారు. ఈ రోజు కొత్తగా ఆయన్ను పొగడాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. అయితే, ముందు చెప్పినట్టు ఈ కథ ఎలా ఓకే చేశారా? అని డౌట్ కొడుతుంది. యాక్షన్ & ఎమోషనల్ సీన్స్... తన క్యారెక్టర్ వరకు ఆయన బాగా చేశారు. పేలవమైన కథను ఆయన నటన నిలబెట్టలేకపోయింది. దివ్యాంశ కౌశిక్ అందంగా కనిపించారు. పాత్ర పరిధి మేరకు చేశారు. అభిమన్యు సింగ్‌కు ఇటువంటి క్యారెక్టర్లు కొత్త కాదు. బ్యాడ్ బాయ్, క్రిమినల్ రోల్స్ చాలా చేశారు. ఆ లిస్టులో ఇంకో క్యారెక్టర్ అంతే! యోగిబాబు కామెడీ కొన్ని సీన్లలో మాత్రమే నవ్వించింది.

చివరగా చెప్పేది ఏంటంటే? : టక్కర్... రెండు గంటల టార్చర్! సిద్ధార్థ్ మాస్ హీరో కావాలని అనుకుంటే మరో ప్రయత్నం చేయాలి. 'టక్కర్' వంటి రొటీన్ కథలతో, అంత కంటే రొటీన్ సీన్లతో వస్తే ప్రేక్షకులు ఆదరించడం కష్టమే.

Actor Siddharth has been picky in his second innings and is coming up with a film every one-two years. In the pursuit of scoring a big hit, he has now come up with his new film Takkar. This Karthik G Krish’s directorial features Divyansha Kaushik as the female lead. Here is the review of the film.

Gunasekhar (Siddharth) hails from a poor financial background and aims to become super rich. In pursuit of his desire, he lands in Vizag. He starts doing small jobs but gets humiliated most of the time. Finally, he takes up the position of a cab driver. Conversely, Gunasekhar falls for Lucky (Divyansha), a spoiled rich girl. In a turn of events, Gunasekhar and Lucky get into trouble due to a mafia gang. How they get out it forms the major crux of the film.

Though Siddharth tries his best to come out of his lover-boy image, his antics and looks still make him feel like the sweet guy from Bommarillu and Nuvvostanane Nenoddantana. He is aiming to become a mass hero with films like Maha Samudram and Takkar but the poor character writing is doing the damage. Divyasha Kaushik looks gorgeous on screen but her role has nothing significant to offer. Yogi Babu’s comedy is yawn-inducing and Abhimanyu Singh is typical as an antagonist.

Director Karthik G Krish tries to incorporate too many genres into his story. Thus, we can’t fit Takkar into a specific category. There is romance, suspense and action but nothing is praiseworthy. Eventually, everything in the movie makes us bored right from the beginning to the end. No character has a purpose in the film, leading things to become messy. Takkar starts off on an interesting note. Multiple characters are introduced with specific motives. But good things end after that. How those motives are fulfilled was not showcased well. Though the first half is at least passable, the second half is a complete disappointment.

Takkar doesn’t offer anything significant on the technical front as well. Music director Nivas K Prasanna’s songs and background score are forgettable. Murugesan does a decent job on the camera front. The VFX works is sub-standard. The editing is patchy and the writing is sloppy.

Takkar Telugu Movie Review Unveiling the Impact

In “Takkar,” Gunashekhar, known as Guns (played by Siddharth), is an ambitious young man with dreams of wealth. He crosses paths with Lucky (played by Divyansha Kaushik), a rich and spoiled girl who believes money is the root of all problems. Both protagonists find themselves entangled with a dangerous mafia involved in illegal activities. The film follows their attempts to escape the clutches of the Mafia, filled with numerous unexpected twists and intense action sequences.

Siddharth’s portrayal in “Takkar” showcases a stylish and fresh look, enhancing his charismatic screen presence. His performance is commendable, effectively capturing the drama and emotions of the film’s storyline. This marks his return to the big screen after his last film, “Maha Samudram,” in 2021. Following “Takkar,” Siddharth has a promising lineup of films, including the highly anticipated project “Indian 2.”

In “Takkar,” Divyansha Kaushik portrays the role of a wealthy and spoiled girl, showcasing her talent and doing justice to the character. The rest of the cast also delivers impressive performances throughout the film. Takkar Review: A Bumpy Ride

Takkar is a Tamil language action drama which is written and directed by Karthik G. Krish. The film is dubbed into Telugu with the same title and is being released under People Media Factory & Abhishek Agarwal Arts in Telugu. This film has Siddharth & Divyansha Kaushik in lead roles while Abhimanyu Singh, Yogi Babu, Munishkanth, RJ Vigneshkanth & others are seen in important roles. The music is composed by Nivas K. Prasanna and the film is produced by Sudhan Sundaram & G.Jayaram under Passion Studios banner.

Gunz (Siddharth) is an ambitious but poor guy who wants to become rich someday. In an urge to get more money, he gets into a mafia street and his path takes him to meet a super-rich girl named Lucky (Divyansha Kaushik) who believes Money is the cause of all distress in life. How does their life transform together? Needs to be seen in the film.

What about on-screen performances?

Siddharth is pretty decent in the film. These kinds of roles are a cakewalk for the actor and he does it with a lot of ease, especially in the romantic episodes. Though action is not his forte, he is good in all the fight & chase scenes as well. But his look did not suit him well as is looked a bit jaded.

Divyansha Kaushik looked super glamorous on screen. Her character is very uniquely written in the film and she has done full justice to her role.

Abhimanyu Singh is wasted in the main antagonist role which doesn’t have enough meat to perform.

Yogi Babu & RJ Vigneshkanth are also wasted in poorly written characters. Especially, Yogi Baby plays a dual role in the film and none of his scenes will make you laugh.

Munishkanth succeeds in entertaining a bit in the second half motel scene while Sujatha Sivakumar is okay as the hero’s mother.

What about off-screen talents?

The story by Shrinivas Kaviinayam is wafer-thin. There is nothing refreshing with the plot and there have been many films in the past which run on these lines where a poor guy meets a rich girl and has some romance and action.

The screenplay too looks pretty half-baked. The way the mafia angle comes into the film is not so convincing and the way the villain character and the Chinese track are written is very poor.

Director Karthik G. Krish does an okay job with the film. Though his presentation is stylish on screen, he should have worked a bit more on writing a convincing screenplay.

The songs by Nivas K. Prasanna are just about okay. Nuvvo Sagam song sung by Siddharth is a charbuster. The background score is good and goes well with the genre of the film.

The camera work by Vanchinathan Murugesan is extraordinary. The way he shoots the action sequences and the chase scene needs special mention.

The editing by G.A.Gowtham is not up to the mark. The film needed a much more sharper cut.

The production values are rich.

Takkar Movie Review

Takkar revolves around an ambitious yet impoverished young man who aspires to become wealthy. The film follows his journey as his desire leads him into trouble with the mafia while simultaneously falling in love with a spoiled, wealthy girl.

Performances:

Siddharth appears with a goatee and a slightly different hairstyle than usual, along with his usual lean physique. However, the new look doesn’t quite suit him. The bigger issue lies in his lack of screen presence and a sense of weariness. It feels as though he is merely going through the motions of completing the film rather than actively engaging with it. While there are a few moments that showcase his dramatic side and some action sequences, they do little to enhance Siddharth’s performance. Takkar proves to be a forgettable experience for him as an actor, lacking any memorable moments.

Divyansha is portrayed as an ultra-glamorous siren. She comfortably takes on the role of showcasing skin show on screen and possesses a good on-screen presence. However, apart from the glamour quotient, there is little worth noting in her performance as an actor.

Takkar is written and directed by Karthik G Krish. The film combines several genres, including action, romance, and drama, with a mix of quirky and predictable characters.

The movie begins with a flashback, immediately capturing the viewer’s interest in the central character and the decision he takes. This curiosity continues as various characters are introduced, generating intrigue regarding the direction of the story.

Unfortunately, the promising beginnings of these different threads are all that Takkar offers. The film lacks an engaging follow-through. The protagonist’s desire for wealth, the kidnapping mafia track, and the involvement of the Chinese characters fail to develop further within the narrative. These introductions and various storylines consume a significant portion of the first half. While they make for a somewhat passable viewing experience, curiosity arises about the progression of these characters and plotlines.

Regrettably, the second half proves to be a massive disappointment. The different storylines are left behind as the narrative takes an entirely different direction. Instead, a long and laborious love track dominates the screen, appearing more as lust than genuine romance. The film becomes more focused on songs and exposing scenes, with minimal engaging dialogue. It feels as though Takkar has transformed into an entirely different film.

The characters introduced in the first half only make sporadic appearances in the latter part. Even describing them as half-baked would be generous in this case. They seem to resurface merely to remind the audience of the film’s initial setup and to provide a climax for the love story.

The ending offers no respite, with its unconvincing and outlandish presentation. By the time the climax arrives, the once-prominent threat feels toothless.

Takkar Review: Lousy and Boring

Siddharth has been attempting to break away from his lover-boy image. He claimed that he would establish a new image with "Takkar." The film's release in Telugu by not just one, but two major Tollywood production houses generated curiosity.

Let's assess its strengths and weaknesses.

Story: Gunasekhar (Siddharth) harbors aspirations of becoming wealthy. He arrives in Vizag in search of stable employment but faces humiliation while doing odd jobs. Eventually, he secures a well-paying and respectable position as a cab driver.

Meanwhile, Gunasekhar develops feelings for Lucky (Divyansha Kaushik), a super-rich girl who has grown weary of her affluent lifestyle. Lucky also claims to be a feminist. However, her life takes a turn when she is kidnapped by a mafia gang seeking ransom from her father, and she is confined in the car's trunk.

Coincidentally, Gunasekhar encounters the same mafia gang and, after a brief altercation, manages to steal the car with Lucky trapped inside. Thus begins the journey of Gunasekhar and Lucky as they attempt to escape the clutches of the mafia gang. Will their time on the run lead to love blossoming between them?

Artistes’ Performances: Siddharth looks the same as he always does, with the exception of his beard style. He has the same boyish charm, despite his attempts to be a "mass hero." He appears completely unfit for the role.

Divyansha Kaushik's role is poorly written, but she is the film's best looking aspect because she is charming and provides some eye candy while the proceedings are dull and boring.

Yogi Babu's comedy falls flat. As the villain, Abhimanyu Singh plays it in his usual manner.

Technical Excellence: The film has good production and technical value. The cinematography, in particular, is neat. The action stunts are ridiculous. The writing is awfully sloppy and incoherent. Other than one song, none of them work.

Highlights: Nothing

Analysis In Hindi, "takkar" means "collusion." In Tamil, it commonly refers to winning a game in a direct fight. The hero in Siddharth's "Takkar" faces two challenges: fighting a mafia gang and engaging in a love game with the heroine. However, the film is not as simple as described.

"Takkar," directed by Karthik G Krish, is one of the messiest films we have seen in recent years. There is no coherence in the script or the hero's journey. Adding a mishmash of sequences and strange characters does not bring any novelty.

Siddharth plays a cab driver, and the cab (a Benz car) is owned by a Chinese-looking man who always speaks to Siddharth while performing Seershanam. There is no explanation for why these scenes are shown or the significance of this Chinese-looking man in the story.

Then there's the main villain, involved in human trafficking. He deals with international mafia leaders in one sequence, but in the next, he interacts with comedian Yogi Babu and acts like a buffoon for the entire second half.

Most films nowadays are a huge disappointment after the intermission. However, "Takkar" is sloppy from the beginning. It bores us to death in both halves of the film.

The road trip romance, with some daring scenes and songs, also falls flat. It is strange why People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal purchased the Telugu rights to this film. What prompted them to buy it?

Overall, "Takkar" is a lackluster effort. It is completely forgettable fare that will leave you with nothing but a headache. Watching "Takkar" will make you feel faint (chakkar).

Bottom line: Chakkar!

What’s it about?

Gunasekhar (Siddharth), an youngster from a low economic background who is determined to improve his lot in life, leaves his hometown for the city of Vizag. He works as a chauffeur for the wealthy in a Mercedes he rented from a Chinese man there.

One day, Gunasekhar unwittingly rescues Lucky (Divyansha Kaushik), a wealthy young woman who had been kidnapped by a mafia gang. They begin playing a love game the second they meet. Can he win at both the game of life and the game of love?

“Takkar” is about money and destiny. The hero’s goal is initially established as becoming wealthy. According to the protaganist’s mother, his grandfather was born poor and died poor. So was his father. Then he tells his mother that he would only die wealthy. While the protagonist sets out to become rich by any means possible, we don’t see him progress toward that goal.

Both the protagonist and the director lose their way. After meeting the heroine, the hero becomes distracted, and the director appears to have lost his plot even before the interval bang. Furthermore, the second half completely goes directionless.

The main issue with this film is director Karthik G Krish’s lack of narrative skills. Except for a sequence inspired by the Hollywood film “Baby Driver,” he fails to impress. The later portion of the movie is totally clumsy and boring.

Siddharth alters his appearance to depart from his typical lover boy persona. Divyansha Kaushik is an excellent choice for the role of a wealthy young woman turned wannabe feminist. Yogi Babu’s comedy is passable. Songs are forgettable.

Bottom line: “Takkar” is completely forgettable fare with a clumsy narrative that offers nothing but boredom.

I didn't like this movie as the storyline was basic, predicable and boring. Attempts at comedy was lukewarm. Siddharth was playing a character who goes from meek to super strong..yawn...And the actress oh my...what a weak character too. Overall, give it a miss. Not worth ur time.
