*  30 questions from physics.

The 30 questions  in each Subject,  is divided into two sections -

*Section A :- A Section contains 20 MCQs or multiple-choice questions. Four options are there  out of which one is correct . And you have to choose the correct option.

* Section B :- it has 10 questions whose answer is a numerical value , no options is there ,  you need to enter or type your answer  i. e numerical value .

So, out of 30 questions in each subject only 25 questions are to be attempted, so in total  25 x 3 = 75 questions out of 90 questions are to be attempted.

Distance B.Tech: UGC (University Grants Commission) and AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) have not granted permission for institutions to offer BTech courses through distance learning. What Are Fee Structure Of IGNOU Online B.Tech 2024: Dates (Released)

B.Tech. is an undergraduate degree programme open to students who have received a passing grade in a relevant stream at the 10+2 level. According to the students' chosen specializations, the fee structures for this degree programme at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) vary. Notably, IGNOU only offers Construction Management as a specialization within the B.Tech. The cost of this training is a reasonable INR 20,000 for the complete course. Additionally, this course's qualifying requirements are different from those of traditional B.Tech. programmes. A three-year diploma in one of the following fields is required of potential candidates: chemical, civil, mechanical, electrical, computer engineering, architecture, etc. In order to join in this course, individuals must also have relevant work experience or be self-employed.   

Detailed Fees Structure 2024 of IGNOU Online B.Tech

Depending on the specialization, different distance learning and online B. Tech programmes have different costs. The fee schedule based on several specializations is shown in the following table.

The annual fee for the programme must be paid. For instance, a B. Tech first-year tuition is Rs 15,000. For the latter three years of the programme, the cost is once more Rs. 45,000. There is no need to wait for University contact before paying the price as scheduled in the last year; the money must be paid in full along with the completed application. The same regulations apply to the other specializations. For your last year of BTech, the appropriate Regional Director will provide you with a programme re-registration form and all the essential instructions. If you do not receive the form, you can contact your Regional Centre.

IGNOU does the assessment in the following ways:

Assignments: IGNOU gives 30% weightage to the assignments in the final result. A student can submit the assignments through the online method and see the status of their assignments. The assignments include Case Studies, Objective Answers, Short Type Answers, and Long Type Answers. There is the last date for the submission of assignments.

Students must keep themselves updated with all the details about assignments. Exams: Exams are conducted in June and December every year for the two admission cycles. The semester's exams have 70% weightage in the final course. If a student fails to achieve the passing marks in the course, he will be given a chance the next cycle till the program duration.

Eligibility

Students who have successfully completed any state technical board or equivalent three-year polytechnic diploma program after completing the 10th standard can apply for direct entry into the second year of the B.Tech Distance Education Program.

Students who have completed a 3-year B.SC., who have completed a bachelor’s degree in any stream with mathematics as a major subject are also eligible to enter the third semester of the B.Tech Distance Education Program.

B. Tech distance education program duration

Students enrolled in the B.Tech Distance Education Program must complete all courses within 8 years of registration. Students who enrol directly in the third semester will be required to complete the course within six years of enrollment.
