For the past 30 years, many students have graduated and have contributed to society in one way or another.

Our school has always believed that the children are the future that will help in making our country great and encourage that idea. We conduct an annual day every year. Students from many classes will be awarded for their accomplishments in both academics and sports. Annual day is not only for those students who are good at academics and sports as it encourages all the students to do better in school. I am sure everyone will grow up to achieve success and will help in contributing to the betterment of society.

We all have gathered here on this annual day to inspire and motivate young minds to showcase their talents and realize their potential. We will be giving awards to the students who have contributed to our school in 2020, but we will also hold various competitions that will help the students recognize the field in which they are good. From art to business the fields are many, students can take part in this competition and learn and improve themself. Annual day is an important occasion for all of us because apart from the fact that it celebrates the success of the student it also highlights the success our school has achieved from the past 30 years in the field of education and sports. This platform is also an opportunity to welcome our chief guest of the evening today.

Taking our evening further and to begin with the Annual day function, I, on behalf of everyone present here, heartily welcome the inaugurator and the dignity of the annual function today, the guest of honor, Mrs. Rekha, who is a social worker, philanthropist and has an experience in teaching for almost 20 years. I was especially thankful for her when we approached her with the invitation card and requested that she be part of the event as the chief guest, Miss. Rekha did not hesitate at all and instantly agreed to be part of the program.

Thirty years ago, a woman left her highly paid job because she felt that she could contribute more to society. That lady went on and has changed the whole landscape of how education is provided in our country. The woman I am talking about is Miss. Rekha. For the past 30 years, ma’am has helped many students to achieve their dreams. I feel so lucky that I was given the opportunity to talk about ma’am and her achievements. I will try my best to sound as formal as I can, and if I don’t, please don’t blame me because I have been an admirer of Miss Rekha’s work from a younger age. Maam has helped establish many institutions across India that help provide free education to all students. She also has multiple branches of non-profit organizations (NGO’s) all across the country that allows underprivileged children to live good lives. The NGO that ma'am runs also provides free scholarships to students who want to study further abroad. I want to thank you because, like me, many have got a free scholarship to study and complete their further education.

Every individual is talented in their way. Everyone has their area of interest, hobbies, and passion. Scoring well in academics or being a topper is one thing, but the inner talent that everyone has is another. One should identify what their passion is and work accordingly despite any societal pressure. The stereotypes created by society have to be broken by the people living there themselves. That's what Mrs. Rekha did. It is an honor for all of us to have you as our chief guest today, and for that, we thank you, ma'am.

Before the program starts, I would like to welcome all the parents who have always supported us in spreading the light of knowledge. I would also like to welcome all the teachers, students, and support staff who are an important part of this school. I would like to request everyone to kindly cooperate with us throughout the program to make it successful.

Ma'am established Little Angels school on March 22 1997 and for the past 23 years, many schools all across the country with the same name are providing free education to children. She has helped shape a part of society by providing education for many unprivileged students for almost 20 years. Ma'am, I feel honored that I was given this opportunity to speak about you and your accomplishments towards the society in front of my school. It is no wonder that our country India is truly incredible. 70 years ago on 15th August our country got independence and we are proud to say that we have achieved this achievement after lot of struggle and innumerable sacrifices. As we have gathered here today so I take this occasion to wish every student and all our teachers a very Happy Independence Day.

Today I have got a great opportunity to welcome the Chief Guest from this platform, who is a well-known political figure in the society. Our chief guest is the member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of our district. He is also a famous philanthropist and is recognized for his great works. Our chief guest is also the founder of an NGO which works for the poor and underprivileged children. He is highly literate person.

After completing his graduation from IIT Kharagpur he joined the government and contributed for the construction of many roads and bridges in our city. Our chief guest loves to write in his spare time and has written many articles specially focusing on social issues like poverty, unemployment etc. The presence of such an eminent person as the chief guest today is inspiring and inspiring for the students of our school.

I take this platform to thank and welcome all the parents who gave unconditional love and support to the mission and vision of our school which helped us a lot in achieving our goal. She has won 3 Gold medals and 1 Silver medal for India in Commonwealth Wrestling Championship along with 2 Bronze medals in World Wrestling Championship & Asian Wrestling Championship. It is a privilege for all of us gathered here to have such a celebrity between us as our esteemed guest of honour.

This is a highly important occasion for us because apart from the fact that this celebration highlights our school’s continuous success in the area of education, this platform is also an opportunity to welcome our Chief Guest of the evening today.

On behalf of the ABC College, I cordially and respectfully welcome Mr._____, who is a renowned cardiologist and serving as the Heart Specialist in the prestigious XYZ Hospital. We are certainly grateful to him for courteously and gladly accepting our invitation to become the chief guest of this occasion today. Our chief guest doesn’t need any formal introduction as he is a philanthropist and a distinguished figure in the society. He is been highly respected and known for his kind deeds and professional services in medical as well as social service field. He runs his private clinic too, where he treats the people below poverty line for free of cost. He has ties with some Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) which arrange for free medicines and equipment for the needy. He is indeed a multifaceted personality and society needs several such people. We are all aware of his impeccable treatments which have saved lives of many. He is a highly respectable figure in the society and well-known for his accomplishments and achievements in the field of medical science. It’s really an honour to have him as the chief guest today.

I would also like to welcome all the parents who have continuously supported us in our endeavour to spread the light of true knowledge.

Welcome Speech for Chief Guest on Independence Day Celebration in your School

The land of various gods and goddesses, languages, festivals and customs where individuals from different communities, religions, cultures celebrate, enjoy and live together as one i.e. Indians. No wonder, India is incredible. On 15 th of August our nation got Independence 70 years ago, and we are proud to say that we have earned this achievement after a lot of struggle and innumerable sacrifices. As we have gathered here today, I take this opportunity to wish every student and our teachers a very Happy Independence Day!

This dais is a big opportunity for me to welcome our chief guest today who is the renowned political figure in the society. He is the Member of the Legislative Assemble (MLA) in our district. He is also a renowned philanthropist and known for his noble deeds. He is the founder of an NGO that works for the poor and deprived children. He is a highly literate person. After completing his graduation from IIT Kharagpur, he joined the Government and contributed towards the construction of several roads and bridges in our town. Our chief guest loves to write in his spare time and he has written several verses, especially focusing on social issues like poverty, unemployment, etc. It is really an honour to have such a distinguished figure as the chief guest today and having his presence is motivational and inspirational for the students of our school.

I would also utilize this platform to thank and welcome sincere parents, who have extended their unconditional love and support to the missions and vision of the school which has been of tremendous help in achieving our goals. The parents have shown tremendous trust in the school which has always been a motivation for the school to reach the zenith of excellence.Last but not the least, I would like to thank all the teachers, students and all staff member of the school who have always been proactive, hard-working and dedicated to make every event a grand success.

As we are aware that every year we celebrate this occasion with several cultural programmes, this year too we are celebrating our Independence with various cultural programs to be performed by the students of our school. These students belong to different communities but they share the feeling of oneness irrespective of their caste, creed, culture, religion or economic background. School teaches everyone to become a good human being above anything else.

Investiture ceremony is one of the most important events of a school. It is here that we entrust faith and hope in our newly elected Student Council. Every student who obtains a leadership role feels proud. Today’s celebration makes every leader feel unique as they shoulder a big responsibility in various capacities for the smooth functioning of our school activities.

(Anchor 2) To enlighten our esteemed guests, we wish to share the process of how our student council is formed. The positions of Head Boy, Head Girl, and House Captains are appointed through electronic voting mechanisms, ensuring a fair and transparent selection process. As for the discipline incharges, safety ambassadors, cleanliness incharges, and Health & Hygiene incharges, they are nominated for their roles, embodying the essence of teamwork and trust. With this meticulous approach, the student council takes shape, representing a diverse array of talents and commitment.

(Anchor 1) : Delegation of responsibility and giving authority to children is important as it teaches them lifelong skills of leadership and at the same time making them shoulder a host of responsibilities that come along with leadership. Foreseeing the welfare of the student’s future and to train them in leadership skills the school’s student’s council has been constituted.

(Anchor 2) Ambuja Vidya Niketan has been always inspired by the fact that students are the torch-bearers of tomorrow. Therefore, nurturing them and fostering in them a sense of self-respect, self discipline, the capacity to enjoy life as independent, self – motivated adults and the willingness to care for others are extremely pertinent, especially when it comes to making tomorrow’s global citizens.

4. Badge Distribution to Head Boy & Head Girl

(Anchor 1) Moving ahead with our programme, now we have badge distribution to the elected representatives of our Student Council members.

And to do the honour, May I now request our Chief Guest to begin by assigning badges to the Head Boy and Head Girl of our school.

May I request the head boy, Master Sonu Tiwari and and the head girl Miss Adwaita Dwivedi to please come forward for the collection of their badges.

When I was a little girl, a photo of my dad in a uniform always caught my eye when I visited my grandmom’s house. We didn’t really speak about it, but its very placement made it stand out. As I grew older, I learned the story.

At 17-years-old, my father, decided that he wanted to fight in World War II.

But he was too young to enlist and had to get my grandmom’s permission. She was terrified to send her teenaged son to war, but ultimately, she signed the papers. It was a hard choice—but one they made because they loved each other and our country.

Service is often about those hard choices—the ones servicemembers make, and the ones their families do too.

I only truly understood that choice when our son, Beau, joined the Delaware Army National Guard and went to war for a year in Iraq.

All of you have made that same choice—to serve our country.

You’re the brave and the bold—who step forward for all of us.

You’re the spouses who always cheer twice as loud at soccer tournaments and hug twice as hard at birthdays to try and fill that empty space beside you.

You’re the military kids who save up all your stories to share during that one, precious video call.

Today’s fireworks displays and barbeques—these celebrations of our freedoms, our democracy—are only possible because of your service and sacrifice.

As a military mom, grandmom, and the daughter of a veteran, I want to let you know how much you all mean to me—and to your Commander-in-Chief.

We love you and are so proud of you. Now, please help me welcome, Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin.

They may grow up to achieve great success, name and fame and earn a decent living for themselves. But at the same, we wish them to be good human beings too, and make this world a better place to live in.

I would also like to welcome all the parents who have continuously supported us in our endeavour to spread the light of true knowledge.
