It’s a moment of great privilege and honour for me to extend a hearty welcome to all of you today at this memorable event of The ———- Institute of Engineering college. As you all are aware that we have gathered here to welcome freshers to our prestigious college. The programme will be followed by a few short speeches of the faculty teacher/s and our Hon’ble Chief guest, post which there will be cultural programmes, including dance and songs, short skits & play, drama, etc. refreshment at 3 PM and ultimately the party in the community hall from 7 PM onwards. I hope, you all are enjoying yourself so far and we promise to make this a memorable event for you all.

Established in 2002, our college is recognized by the Govt. of NCT, Delhi and it gives me immense pleasure to inform that we have been imparting quality education since inception. The development of a quality educational system largely lies on the committed members of the faculty, quality infrastructure, supportive administration, large pool of learning resources and last but not the least, hardworking and brilliant students. You will be glad to hear that our college primarily focuses on making our students a good human being and also a successful professional through a strategic teaching of both theoretical and practical aspects during the course of education. I am highly encouraged to share that many of our students, who have emerged from our college with flying colours are now occupying higher positions in several renowned organisations both in India and abroad. They have succeeded in many respects and I am very certain that all the current students will also reach the same peak of success.

I heartily welcome all the fresher students to our college and ensure that we will do everything possible to equip you with the best possible teaching resources, practical exposure and training methods so that you are able to shape up your life and career for a challenging world out there. I am extremely honoured and privileged for getting an opportunity to welcome the new members to our prestigious institute, XYZ College of Law. On behalf of the entire institute, I would like to welcome all the newcomers and other guests to this function and give an opportunity to socialize with each other.

I heartily congratulate all of you for achieving success in getting a seat in this reputed College of Law. This truly means the first step towards following your dreams and achieving your goals. And since for the next 5 years you are going to be part of this college, we heartily wish that you imbibe the best knowledge and experience from here.

For students, who are away from their respective homes for the first time and happen to face any problem in settling down in the new environment, I assure that all of us are readily available to listen to your problems and help you in tackling the same.

Students of today are the future of our college and nation. I strongly believe that your sincerity and honesty can always help you in making a good and responsible human being out of yourself. Of course, teachers and all other college staffs will always remain as the navigators to guide you. The duty of the teachers is not only to impart education, but also to inculcate discipline and qualities in the students. You should feel protected and shielded under the guidance of your teachers and hence, should honour their presence.

Legal occupation shares its own amount of challenges and pleasure. It poses tests and challenges which very few professions do. Our college gives equal importance to both theoretical as well as practical learning in order to make you a competent lawyer, in the true sense of the term. We have ties with several renowned Corporate Lawyers, Criminal, Family and General Practice Lawyers who help our students in gaining practical knowledge. While teachers are always available to guide you in your journey, students must also have a thirst for learning, developing right attitude and humility and above all, belief in discipline, hard work and sincerity.

Apart from educational betterment, our college also focuses on the extra-curricular activities and organises annual sports competition every year in the month of January after the completion of semester exams. We encourage all our students to participate in most of the sports because we understand that physical activities not only unwind one’s mind, but also help in keeping people fit. Some of our students also represent the college at the national level in Basketball and Football.

Good morning everyone and a warm welcome to all the freshers. I hope you all are excited to start your new academic journey. Today, I have the privilege of addressing you all and I want to share some thoughts that I hope will be helpful to you in your future endeavors.

First of all, I want to congratulate you all on taking this significant step in your life. You have chosen a path that will shape your future and determine the kind of life you will lead. As a fresher, you are filled with hope and ambition, and I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on the road that has brought you here. I know that you have worked hard and overcome many obstacles to reach this point. So, take a moment to savor this achievement and be proud of yourselves.

Now, as you step into the next phase of your lives, I want to remind you that this is a time of growth and exploration. You will face new challenges, make new friends, and gain experiences that will shape you into the person you will become. This is the time to embrace new opportunities, learn from your mistakes, and never stop growing.

I also want to emphasise the importance of hard work, determination, and resilience. These are the qualities that will help you overcome any obstacle and succeed in your endeavors. Remember to keep your focus on your goals and work towards them with determination.

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. I am Indira DasGupta, and it is my pleasure to welcome the freshers to the Kolkata Institute of Technology. On behalf of the entire institution, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our new students who have joined us here today.

As you embark on this new journey, it is important to remember that you are not alone. We are here to support you and guide you every step of the way. This institution is more than just a place to learn, it's a community of people who want to see you succeed.

We understand that starting college can be a daunting experience, but we want to assure you that we are here to help you navigate through this exciting and transformative time.

As freshers, you will have the opportunity to explore new interests, make new friends, and learn new skills. You will be challenged academically, but you will also have the opportunity to develop your talents and passions.

We have planned a wide range of activities and events to help you make the most of your time here. From academic lectures and workshops to social events and clubs, there is something for everyone. Good morning respected Director, HOD and Professors and greetings to my peers and fellow students. Today we have gathered here on this auspicious day of fresher’s party.

Today is the day when the new students of our college will be introduced to the college and the members in it, both teachers and their senior students.

I will be presenting a short speech on my experience in this college and I demand your utmost co-operation while I am presenting my speech. 

I gladly welcome you all on this auspicious day to this institute. Thank you for choosing to be a part of this glorious institute. Freshers are the new faces of the college. They are the budding seeds who will come out in budding colours in the later years.

We all have high expectancy from you people. Now our director and our professors will put forward some of their thoughts and ideas about this college, its rules and regulations. Also we will talk about the importance of a fresher’s party.

You all know that the fresher’s party is a party that the senior batch that is the students of 2nd and 3rd year arranges for the junior batch. A fresher’s party is not just a party. It is formal introduction. A formal welcome of the new students to the college. It arranged for knowing each other. Hence fresher’s party is really an important platform for the newcomers.

I was in your place once. After passing out from school I studied for entrance exams. Then I got into this college that is future high college of Engineering and technology. I was extremely scared at first regarding the different issues that one goes through during this phase of life.

Since my hometown was far from here hence my family decided to put me up in hostel. Readily agreed thinking about the freedom and joys of hostel life. But staying away from home and family is difficult. First few days went in adjusting with the new environment. I met new faces every day. Some of their names I remembered some I didn’t.

At that time I had a bad idea about the seniors of our college. Since I was a part of the architecture department hence this department required the maximum senior-junior co-operation. One thing I want to make it clear to you all… That is seniors are here to help you. In this college there is nothing called ragging.

We all are against ragging. We believe in friendly and healthy relationship between juniors, seniors, students and teachers and between peers as well. This will become more and more clear to you as the days pass and more that you get to know your colleagues and friends.

Another item of issue that I want to bring under notice is the issue of consumption of drugs and alcohol in the campus. Drugs are harmful both for body and also for the impact that it has on the ethics and culture of this department.

Hence such kind of act performed in the campus is strictly punishable and any person caught practicing such activity or forcing others to participate can be directly suspended or rusticated depending on the decision taken by the board of directors and this decision will be final and cannot be altered or challenged.

I don’t want to bore you down by giving you long speeches about the glory and fame of this institute. You are now a part of this respected community and we all hope that you will uphold the integrity and name that this institute has projected.

I am ——————- a student of 2 nd year in the department of architecture. I welcome you all to the event of fresher’s party. We all are interested to know about you people. Hence I would request you to come on this stage with me and tell something about yourself, something that you want us to know.

Lastly I would like to thank all the teachers for gifting us their valuable presence, then I would like to thank the director for providing us the fund to hold such a party for the newcomers to our college. I would like to thank all the new comers for attending this party with such excitement.

I hope that throughout the year we will be able to afford you the assistance and care that is expected from us and also help you to guide through the rights and wrong of the college days. I hope we will be more ‘friends’ than just ‘seniors’.

And I also urge you to stand up against any unjust attitude done towards you. In case of any misbehaviour or misconduct done towards you, you have to immediately bring under notice of the concerned authorities. In the event of such a case no one will be spared whether its a newcomer or a senior student.

ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಗೆಳೆಯ ಗೆಳತಿಯರೆ, ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರೇ, ಹಾಗು ಶಾಲಾ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳೇ,

ಈ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ/ಕಾಲೇಜಿಗೆ ನಾನು ವಿದಾಯ ಹೇಳಲು ನಾನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ನೋವು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ನನಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕಳೆದ ಕೆಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಈ ಶಾಲೆ/ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿರುವುದು ನನ್ನ ಜೀವನದ ಒಂದು ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕ್ಷಣವಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಗಳಿಸಿದ ನೆನಪುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅನುಭವಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಕೃತಜ್ಞನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

ನನ್ನ ಸಹ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ,ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ನೇಹ, ಬೆಂಬಲ ಮತ್ತು ಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಲು ನಾನು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾವು ಯಶಸ್ಸಿನ ಉತ್ತುಂಗದಿಂದ ನಿರಾಶೆಯ ಕೆಳಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಡುವೆ ಇರುವ ಎಲ್ಲದಕ್ಕೂ ಹಲವು ಅನುಭವಗಳನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಅಂತಹ ವೈವಿಧ್ಯಮಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿಭಾವಂತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಬೆಳೆಯಲು ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಿಯಲು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಿದೆ.

ನಮ್ಮ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ, ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಯೋಗಕ್ಷೇಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಗಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಲು ನಾನು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆಗಾಗಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸಲು ನೀವು ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಭಾವೋದ್ರೇಕಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಆಸಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಲು. ನಿಮ್ಮ ದಣಿವರಿಯದ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳು ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ, ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಉತ್ತಮ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಬದಲಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

“ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ವಿಷಯಗಳು ಕೊನೆಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ” ಎಂಬ ಗಾದೆಯಂತೆ ಜೀವನದ ಮುಂದಿನ ಹಂತಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಗಳಿಸಿದ ನೆನಪುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ದುಃಖದ ತುಡಿತದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಈ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ/ಕಾಲೇಜಿಗೆ ನಾನು ವಿದಾಯ ಹೇಳಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ನಾನು ಇಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಳಿಸಿದ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ನೆನಪುಗಳು, ಅನುಭವಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಭಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು.

ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೇ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹೋದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳೇ,

ಇಂದು ನನ್ನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಅಧ್ಯಾಯದ ಅಂತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಅದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಈ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ, ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿದಾಯ ಹೇಳಲು ನಾನು ಇಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತಿರುವುದು ಮಿಶ್ರ ಭಾವನೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ.

ನಾನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ, ನಾವು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಸಾಧಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಾನು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂತೋಷದ ಭಾವನೆಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಗು ತುಂಬಿದ ತರಗತಿಗಳಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು ಸುದೀರ್ಘ ಗಂಟೆಗಳ ಕಠಿಣ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದವರೆಗೆ, ಪ್ರತಿ ಕ್ಷಣವೂ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಸ್ಮರಣೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಂದ ನಾನು ತುಂಬಾ ಕಲಿತಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಮತ್ತು ಬದ್ಧತೆಯಿಂದ ನಾನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣತಜ್ಞನಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

ನನ್ನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಲು ಇದು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸವಲತ್ತು ಎಂದು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನೀವು ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಿಯುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡುವುದು ನನ್ನ ವೃತ್ತಿಜೀವನದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಅಂಶವಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿರುವ ಅವಕಾಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಕೃತಜ್ಞನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀವು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೀರಿ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನೆನಪಿಡಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕನಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆನ್ನಟ್ಟುವುದನ್ನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಡಿ.

ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀವು ಕೇವಲ ಸಹೋದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು. ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬ. ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ತೋರಿದ ಅಚಲ ಬೆಂಬಲ, ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನೇಹಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು. ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಕಲಿಕೆ, ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುವ ವಾತಾವರಣವನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಕೃತಜ್ಞನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

Our college is not only focused on education but it works in a 360 degree manner. It works to develop all kinds of personal qualities like leadership, teamwork, determination, resilience, confidence, respect etc. in you so that you can grow as a multifaceted person. We know the importance of time, so along with studies, we also give equal status to other fields like sports, writing, art, dance, music etc. Our college is focused on creating a holistic learning environment.

There are many students among you who have taken admission in our college a little late but you need not panic. All the teachers will support you in helping you prepare for the upcoming 2 months exam. This is the first step towards the fulfillment of your dream career.

There are no free lunches in the world. Just because you studied here doesn’t mean you are entitled to all the opportunities. You must remember to work hard and earn every opportunity you want. Take every challenge you face as an opportunity for another chance to prove your worth. Also, know the difference between people to whom you have to prove yourself and those you don’t have to. Always remember to have a sense of humour in life. Only that will get you through the tough times. ನನ್ನ ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಸಹದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳೇ ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಬಂಧುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೆಳಗ್ಗಿನ ಶುಭೋಧಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳು.

ಇಂದು ನಾವು ಜನವರಿ 26, 2024 ರಂದು 75 ನೇ ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಬ್ರಿಟೀಷ್ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶ 1947 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರವಾದ ಬಳಿಕ 1950 ಜನವರಿ 26 ರಂದು ಸಂವಿಧಾನವನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿ, ಅನ್ವಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವವೆನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು. ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದೀಚೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿವರ್ಷ ಜನವರಿ 26 ರಂದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಡಗರ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವ ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ದಿನದಂದು ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ನಮಗೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿದಿದೆ.

ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ದಿನದಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಮೊದಲನೆಯದಾಗಿ, ನನಗೆ ಈ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಈ ಮಹಾನ್ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ದೇಶದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಏನನ್ನಾದರೂ ಹೇಳಲು ನನಗೆ ಸುವರ್ಣಾವಕಾಶ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗು ನಾನು ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಹೇಳಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ಇಂದು ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ 75 ನೇ ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. 1947 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಬಂದ ಎರಡೂವರೆ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ, ಇದು 1950 ನೇ ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿತು. ನಾವು ಇದನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ಜನವರಿ 26 ರಂದು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಈ ದಿನದಂದು ಭಾರತದ ಸಂವಿಧಾನವು ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿತು.ಭಾರತದ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಳುವ -ಶಾಸಕಾಂಗ, ನ್ಯಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸುವ – ನ್ಯಾಯಾಂಗ. ಹಾಗೂ ಜನರಿಗಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಂಗಗಳು ಹೇಗಿರಬೇಕು? ಯಾವೆಲ್ಲ ನೀತಿ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ಪಾಲಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂಬೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸೂಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳ ಗುಚ್ಛವೇ – ಸಂವಿಧಾನ.

ಸುದೀರ್ಘ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಸಂಗ್ರಾಮ ಮತ್ತು ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ತ್ಯಾಗ ಬಲಿದಾನಗಳ ನಂತರ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶ 1947 ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 15 ರಂದು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರವಾಯಿತು. ಆದರೆ ಇನ್ನೂ, ಈ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯವು ಅಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿತ್ತು ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶವು ಅನೇಕ ತುಂಡುಗಳಾಗಿ ವಿಭಜಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು, ಇದು ದೇಶದ ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸವಾಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನದೇ ಆದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಲಿಖಿತ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಲಿ, ದೇಶವಾಗಲಿ ಶಿಸ್ತು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದನ್ನು ಗಮನದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು, 299 ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಡಾ.ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಇದರ ಮೊದಲ ಸಭೆಯು ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 1946 ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಮತ್ತು 2 ವರ್ಷ 11 ತಿಂಗಳು 18 ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದು ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ 26 ನವೆಂಬರ್ 1949 ರಂದು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಇದನ್ನು 26 ಜನವರಿ 1950 ರಂದು ದೇಶಾದ್ಯಂತ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರಲಾಯಿತು.ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳದ್ದೇ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿತು. ಈ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವಕ್ಕೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡದ ಕಾರಣ ಇದರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಒಂದು ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಕಥೆಯೂ ಇದೆ. ಇದರ ಹಿಂದೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಾರಣವಿದೆ.

ಈ ದಿನ, 26 ಜನವರಿ 1930, ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ನ ಲಾಹೋರ್ ಅಧಿವೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾವಿ ನದಿಯ ದಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಸ್ವರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಘೋಷಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಭಾರತೀಯ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಾದ ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರರು. ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಿಯಮಿತವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು, ಸುದ್ದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಓದಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಮಾನಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರಬೇಕು, ಸರಿ ಮತ್ತು ತಪ್ಪು ಏನು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಯಕರು ಏನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮೊದಲನೆಯದಾಗಿ ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಏನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

ಭಾರತ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶ. ಭಾವೈಕ್ಯತೆಯೇ ಇದರ ಜೀವವಾಗಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮೃದ್ಧ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ವೀರ ಧೀರರ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಿದೆ. ಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆ, ಶಾಂತಿ, ಸಹಿಷ್ಣುತೆ, ಸಮಾನತೆ ಇವು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಭದ್ರ ಪಡಿಸುವ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳಾಗಿವೆ. ನಾವು 07 ದಶಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಸಾಧಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಸಾಧಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿರುವುದು ಇನ್ನೂ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟಿದೆ. ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಮ್ಮ – ನಮ್ಮ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಅರಿತು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಘಿಕವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಪಟ್ಟರೆ ದೇಶದ ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಭಾರತೀಯರಾದ ನಾವು ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ” ತಮ್ಮ ತ್ಯಾಗ ಬಲಿದಾನಗಳಿಂದ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವ ಭೂ ಸೇನೆ, ವಾಯು ಸೇನೆ, ಹಾಗೂ ನೌಕಾ ಸೇನೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೈನಿಕರಿಗೂ ಹಾಗೂ ದೇಶದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶದ ಬೆನ್ನೆಲುಬಾದ ರೈತ ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೂ ನಾವು ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿರಋಣಿಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾ ದೇಶದ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗೀಣ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸೋಣ ಎಂದು ಶಪಥ ಮಾಡೋಣ ಈ ಶುಭ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ಆ ಮಹಾನ್ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಗೌರವ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾಂಜಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ನನ್ನ ಭಾಷಣವನ್ನು ಕೊನೆಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಇಷ್ಟು ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಾ ನನ್ನ ಭಾಷಣವನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ,
