The assignments have a 30% weighted in your grade card while the Theory and Practical examination has a 70% weighted.

After submission of assignments through any of the available methods, the assignments go for an evaluation to the evaluator of the study centre or regional centre. Once Evaluator has successfully evaluated your assignment then they will either upload your marks directly on the IGNOU Site or it will be sent to IGNOU Delhi for updating online and thereafter it can be seen by each student to get their report. Generally, IGNOU Assignment marks updating and uploading within 40 days after submission to the concerned study or regional centre.

Things to Do after Submission of IGNOU Assignment

If you have submitted your Assignments to the IGNOU Study Centre then now is time for checking your marks and status online. After the submission of assignments, it goes to the evaluation department in which IGNOU evaluators start the evaluation of each assignment solution. If only a few days have passed then we advise all students that please check their Assignment Marks and Status after three or four weeks.

In some cases, the study centre first evaluates the assignment, after evaluation, they send the marks to the regional centre and then the concerned authority at RC uploads the marks online which definitely takes some time.

What If IGNOU Assignment Status is Not Updated?

Sometimes the update process of IGNOU Assignment status gets delayed for an unknown reason like the evaluation of assignments is delayed in the concerned study centre or maybe the regional centre has not uploaded your assignment marks online. Candidates can wait till the declaration of the result to get updates on their assignment but if you are not able to find your assignment status or marks even after the release of the TEE Result then you need to connect with centre where you submitted your assignments.

The early term end result IGNOU, has been available for the students who have been selected for any post or who intend to further their studies.

Steps to check IGNOU Early Declaration Result 2023?

Step 1 . Visit the official website - ignou.ac.in.

Step 3 . A drop down list will be displayed and then candidates have to click on the ‘ Result ’ link.

Step 5 . Press the ‘ Click here for details ’ section given on the left side of the page.

Step 6 . A login portal will be displayed on the screen.

Step 7 . Type in the enrollment number and click on the ‘ Submit ’ button.

Step 8 . Now, an early IGNOU TEE December 2023 result declaration will appear on the screen.

Candidates can check the previous year IGNOU TEE results in online mode. In order to check the IGNOU previous year result, candidates are required to follow these steps:

Then choose the " Results " option.
Select the " Term-End " option on the left.
Select the exam session you want to check the results of.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University allows students to improve their division or marks after the IGNOU final gradecard has been issued. This facility is beneficial to those students who fall short of 1% to 2% to secure 2nd or 1st division marks in bachelor's or master's degree at IGNOU. The IGNOU conducts the IGNOU improvement exam, which candidates can fill out the applications for within six months from the issuance of the final gradecard of IGNOU. Candidates please note that they can appear only once in the IGNOU improvement examination. This improvement test of IGNOU allows the students to achieve their desired divisions which they had missed by a slight margin.

Non-submission of assignments could also lead to incomplete IGNOU results. The incomplete IGNOU TEE June 2023 result simply means that the university will upload the results as soon as possible since many courses and subjects are offered by the university. After the university checks the copy of the term end subject, the IGNOU exam result are uploaded.

The IGNOU result 2023 grade card is made available on the official website: ignou.ac.in. Candidates can view the IGNOU grade card by selecting their given programme and entering their enrollment number. The IGNOU 2023 grade card includes information such as enrolment number, student name, programme name, course code, assignment marks, theory marks, practical marks, and status (Completed/Not Completed).

Duplicate IGNOU Exam Grade Card 2023

Indira Gandhi National Open University offers an option where they can request a duplicate grade card if they lose or misplace the previous one.

In order to obtain a duplicate IGNOU grade card/mark sheet , students must complete an application form.

In addition, students need to submit a Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.250 made payable to IGNOU in New Delhi.

Candidates who have appeared in the IGNOU TEE exam, must be aware fo the IGNOU 2023 passing marks. It is worth noting that it is mandatory to qualify in both theory and practical/ assignments to qualify for academic session. Candidates must secure at least 35% marks in the assignment and theory exams individually in order to qualify. For exam papers of 50 marks, the passing marks is 18.

For IGNOU PG programmes, the passing marks is 40% for both theory and practical/ assignment papers.

The minimum passing marks in IGNOU depends on the programme. Students who are pursuing undergraduate courses are required to secure at least 35% and 40% for candidates who are pursuing BA programmes. The minimum passing marks for IGNOU postgraduate programmes is 40%. The final IGNOU result is calculated based on both IGNOU term-end exam and IGNOU assignment scores.

As per the IGNOU grade card calculator, a particular weightage is assigned to various components of a candidate’s academic work done during their stay in the university. Candidates can calculate their grades using the IGNOU grade card calculator 2023. The IGNOU grade card will be posted on the university's website. The IGNOU result 2023 grade card can be checked by entering the login credentials, such as the enrollment number and date of birth. The IGNOU grade card and IGNOU percentage calculator can also be used to check students' grades, marks, or percentages in theory, assignments, and practical's.

If students are unhappy with their marks, then they can request an IGNOU results revaluation. In order to reevaluate, students need to fill out the IGNOU revaluation form and submit it to the university evaluation center along with a copy of their answer scripts. The university provides photocopies of the answer scripts to candidates who request them and pay a fee of Rs. 100 per course if they are not satisfied with their IGNOU TEE results 2023 .

Candidates must request a photocopy of their IGNOU answer scripts within 45 days after the declaration of their results.

It is necessary for students to submit the filled-out revaluation application form, answer script photocopy, and demand draft for the revaluation fee drawn in the favour of IGNOU payable in the city to the concerned evaluation centre in the specified format.

The IGNOU 2023 revaluation application form must be filled out by candidates who are not satisfied with their TEE marks. A fee of Rs. 750 is payable for each course. It is important to note that the revaluation form must be filled out within one month of declaring the results. IGNOU will make the prescribed revaluation application form available on its official website. It can be accessed by candidates by downloading it and paying the applicable fee. Candidates must submit the revaluation request along with a demand draft drawn in the name of IGNOU, payable at the city of the evaluation centre.

The university will announce the IGNOU December TEE revaluation result 2023 in online mode. The IGNOU revaluation result for June TEE 2023 was declared at ignou.ac.in. Candidates can check the IGNOU 2023 revaluation result by using their enrollment number.

Candidates who want to improve their division and have finished their graduation or post-graduation can take the IGNOU improvement exam.

IGNOU improvement exams can only be taken for the theory exams and cannot be taken for assignments, practical exams, or laboratory exams.

IGNOU improvement exams are for candidates who feel unsatisfied with their marks and division.

IGNOU Eligibility Criteria for Improvement Examination 2023

IGNOU students who have less than 2% of the required marks at graduation can fill out a form for improvement examinations. They also must match the eligibility criteria required for IGNOU improvement examination.

In the postgraduate programmes, candidates with 2% less marks than the overall 55% are eligible for improvement marks.
