Through taking this class, I have significantly improved in my reading, writing, and learning! I have noticed these improvements several times as I have written assignments for other classes, as well as reading in general. I have focused on my strengths and aimed to fix my weaknesses. This growth and expansion is unique to this semester for me.

What I have learned about reading and writing: I have learned that the thesis statement in an essay is like the topic sentence in a paragraph. I' ve learned more vocabularies through reading. After I know the meanings of the words, I can use them in my essay easily. Reading is a good way to increase new words, and writing is a good way to test whether I know how to use them in a correct way.
