Anchoring Script: Prize Distribution

A prize distribution ceremony is a moment of pride and joy for the achievers, as well as a source of motivation for others to strive for excellence. As an anchor , your script should be eloquent and celebratory, setting an atmosphere of appreciation and recognition. Writing an anchoring script for such an event involves careful attention to the tone, flow, and content of your speech. Here’s a comprehensive guide to creating a script that will ensure the ceremony is memorable and runs smoothly.

Table of Contents

Understanding the Essence of the Ceremony

A prize distribution ceremony is not just about handing over trophies and certificates; it’s a celebration of talent, hard work, and perseverance. Your script should reflect this spirit and highlight the achievements of the recipients in a way that resonates with the audience.

Tips for Writing the Anchoring Script

  • Personalize Your Approach : Tailor your script to the audience and the type of event. Make it relevant and relatable to those present.
  • Use Positive Language : Celebrate the effort and achievement of all participants, not just the winners.
  • Clarity and Brevity : Keep your language clear and concise. Long-winded speeches can detract from the excitement of the winners.
  • Humor and Wit : A touch of humor can keep the mood light and the audience engaged, but be mindful of the context and audience.
  • Rehearsal : Practice your script to ensure smooth delivery, proper timing, and effective use of tone and pauses.
  • Adaptability : Be prepared to improvise if necessary, and adjust your script on the fly to accommodate anychanges or unexpected occurrences during the event.
  • Respect and Decorum : Maintain a respectful tone when speaking about the awardees, dignitaries, and the institution. The ceremony is a formal event and should be treated as such.
  • Engagement : Encourage applause and participation from the audience to honor the winners and make the event more interactive.
  • Coordination : Work closely with the event coordinators to synchronize the flow of the ceremony with your script, especially when it comes to the order of award distribution.
  • Acknowledgment : Remember to acknowledge the efforts of the organizers, staff, and volunteers who contributed to the success of the event.

Five Essential Elements of a Prize Distribution Ceremony

' data-src=

Engaging emcees, delighted winners, and enthusiastic spectators – these elements all combine to make prize distribution ceremonies genuinely magical events. However, none of this happens by chance; instead, at the core of every successful event lies an intricate anchoring script explicitly designed to ensure its success.

Here are five essential elements you should include in your anchoring script in order to make it effective.

Table of Contents

1. Welcome the guests

Prize distribution ceremonies are an occasion to recognize and applaud the efforts of students and staff of an educational institute, honor those who have excelled at both academic and co-curricular activities, and encourage others to strive for excellence. How can an award ceremony run smoothly? An excellent anchoring script.

Welcome speeches are an integral component of any event, especially prize distribution ceremonies. A welcome speech allows organizers to thank guests for attending, explain its purpose, and set an atmosphere conducive to future ceremonies.

An effective welcome speech can keep the audience engaged and make an event more memorable for all involved. A welcome speech should include some humor to lighten the atmosphere; also, it should highlight its significance to society as a whole and its contribution.

As part of your welcome speech, you must remain genuine and respectful when delivering it. This will set the stage for the ceremony as a whole and leave audiences with positive impressions of it all. One way of doing this would be addressing audience members by name and outlining their roles at the ceremony.

Once guests are welcomed, it’s time to kickstart the actual award ceremony. For maximum excitement and class during this part of the proceedings, having two emcees present is advised; two hosts can add more drama. Also important are short music excerpts between award segments to keep audiences entertained and engaged with proceedings.

An essential step of any prize distribution ceremony is announcing the winners. This announcement should be made with dignity and grace by an emcee, noting their names while providing details as to why they deserve this honor.

2. Introductions

Prize distribution ceremonies can be a fantastic way to recognize your team members and employees for their accomplishments, but these events must be planned carefully to be successful. An excellent anchoring script is crucial for keeping everyone engaged throughout; here are five elements you should include in it:

If you are hosting the event yourself, begin by welcoming guests and providing a summary of what’s to come. Next, it is crucial to introduce guests of honor and presenters via name or position – this step is especially vital if presenting someone else an award as they need time and space to accept their prize and discuss it further.

Add an extra special touch to your prize distribution ceremony by including videos and laudations that capture the achievements of award winners. This can help keep audiences interested and inspired, such as slides of work done by them or home videos capturing their personality or testimonies from those affected by them in some way.

Once your guests are introduced, and you’ve provided an overview of the event, it is time to announce winners! Clearly identify prize categories and award each recipient accordingly in order to keep things running smoothly and avoid confusion among attendees.

Preset presentation schedules for prize categories and award winners to give attendees an idea of when each speaker will take the stage; otherwise, prolonged speech times from any one person can disrupt the program and leave attendees bored and disinterested in listening to more.

3. Announce the winners

Prize distribution ceremonies are essential events that honor students, faculty members, and employees for their hard work. Celebrities, industry experts, and local dignitaries may attend such an event, which gives awards to top performers of each category or department – an exciting moment for both winners and others who may strive for excellence themselves! Having an engaging emcee with a thoughtful anchoring script is a crucial component for the success of such ceremonies.

Make your award presentation even more exciting and unforgettable by employing various methods to announce winners. Introduce and briefly describe all guests of honor before listing their accomplishments or significance, or add humor or suspense by hiring an industry expert as your MC; this will keep the audience entertained and engaged during the whole event.

Once the guests of honor have been introduced, you should then announce the winners in each category and briefly explain why it was awarded to that particular individual or team. This will enable your audience to understand why specific awards were selected as winners.

Once the winners have been selected, it is essential to give them a round of applause and offer your congratulations – showing your appreciation for their hard work. Also, remember to thank event organizers and sponsors; without their contributions, this event would not have taken place!

Finally, remind your audience of the advantages of entering your contest and how they can continue participating by signing up for your email list. This will encourage non-winners to try their luck again in future competitions and increase conversion rates after your giveaway has concluded. You could use an OptinMonster spin-the-wheel campaign that rewards non-winners with discounts on future purchases – this way, all participants are engaged.

At the conclusion of your prize distribution ceremony, it is essential to thank everyone who attended and end on an upbeat note. Mention how this event wouldn’t have been possible without the sponsorship and help of organizers, then wish all present well and encourage them to continue working hard.

An effective anchor script can make or break a prize distribution ceremony. It sets the mood, captures the audience’s attention , and keeps them interested throughout its entirety. By including five essential elements into your anchoring script for an award ceremony, you can craft an exceptional one.

How to write Anchoring Script in English

Shree Ganeshay Namah

Table of Contents

Introduction

Anchoring any kind of function is always a challenging task but with the right anchoring script, it is always easy.

So here we will see how to write an anchoring script or compering script for any program.

What is anchoring and how to master the art of compering

Introducing the program and the participants and controlling all the schedules as per plan is anchoring.

A person who comperes or anchors the show is called an anchor or compere or emcee or announcer or microphone controller.

The role of an anchor is to give the audience an idea of the program ahead and keep them engaged and aware of the next program.

An anchor should exhibit spontaneity, originality, and genuineness.

An anchor should carry the program with ease, grace, elegance, and confidence.

Essential things for an anchor to remember

1)practice again and again

2)Prepare well

3)Prepare a script

4)Dress properly according to an event.

5)An anchor is not the star of the show

6)Keep control of your breath.

7)Address the audience with a smile, proper expressions, voice modulation, and keep eye contact with the audience.

8)Maintain the speed of your speaking as well as the function.

9)Control the program

10) If there is any mistake, apologize without any hesitation.

Qualities of an anchor

1)Language fluency.

2)clarity of thoughts

3)confidence

4)sense of humor

5)Right body language

6)Presence of mind

7)Deep knowledge

8)basic understanding of the nature and tone of the event.

9)A simple and dignified style.

10) Ability to deal with the technicians, event organizers, and guest speakers.

Format of anchoring script

Roughly we can divide the compering script into the following parts.

1)Introduction

2)Inauguration

3)about the event, 4)closing address, 5)vote of thanks..

Now we will see how you can develop each point in your anchoring script.

You should introduce the program by formal beginning with the mention of the chief guest and other dignitaries and the audience. Welcome all and tell about the program in short.

You can introduce it like this

“Respected chief guest, honorable guest of honor, and all the dignitaries present here, good evening and I would like to welcome you all for ………….function.”

After a brief introduction, there is always the inauguration of the program by lighting the lamp and honor of the gusts, welcome song, etc.

After the inauguration, the main event begins, call the speakers politely for the speech and take response from the audience in the form of applause and announce various program contents as per the schedule.

The closing address should mention the summary of the program and a formal announcement of the closure of the program after a vote of thanks.

The program ends with a vote of thanks and an anchor or other speaker from the organizers will give it.

This is a simple format of anchoring script for any function.

Welcome Speech for Award Ceremony

Welcome Speech for Award Ceremony School, Academic, Sports

Welcome speech for school awards ceremony.

Hon’ble Principal, Vice Principal and Teachers, Respected Parents and Dear Students! Welcome to the School Awards Ceremony 2016-2017.

Today, I feel very privileged and honoured to stand here in front of you all and acknowledge the achievements of our brilliant students who have made both the school and their parents proud. This program is held to recognize the young talents who have made an immense contribution to our school and the society. These brilliant students exhibit such qualities that will not only help them in achieving their goals, but also bring glory of success to our school academy. Today, we have gathered here not just to celebrate the achievements of our students, but also to give due regard to our values and morals which these awardees exemplify, like discipline, compassion and zeal for learning.

Awards are a way to encourage good behaviour and inculcate competitive spirit. This is the reason why our school organizes award ceremony every year to encourage its students. So we are here to give away the awards in mainly six categories, viz. academics, distinction in sports and arts, for participating in school exhibitions, debates and other social events. The awards to be distributed today are not just for recognizing those students who have performed exceptionally well in their academics, but also to honour those students who excelled in sports, performing arts and visual arts, including the ones who were proactive in various social events. The aim is to recognize that extra talent of our students other than academics and motivate them to shine in their respective fields.

Our institution has always provided its students with a healthy and fairly competitive environment to help them grow in every sphere of activity, be it academics, sports or any other extra-curricular role. We have given equal opportunities to all our students so that they realize their true potential and get ready to face the outer world once they complete their school studies. And I am much pleased to see our dear students performing and excelling in their respective areas of interests.

Also, I would like to address those students who have not won any prize and say that do not lose hope as this is not the end of everything and there will be many more opportunities coming your way to prove your mettle. School award ceremonies are just a beginning. I have a very inspiring line for all of you said by George W. Bush, the former president of the United States:

“To those of you who received honours, awards and distinctions, I say well done. And to the C students, I say, you too, can be president of the United States.”

In the end, I would like to use this wonderful opportunity to thank our Principal, Vice Principal and the board members for taking this institution to new heights and creating a distinct path for the students to follow. I would also like to extend special thanks to all the parents for joining us and making this occasion a huge success.

Welcome Speech for Academic Awards Ceremony

A very Good Morning to our school committee members, honourable judges, staff, parents and dear students! I feel really honoured in sharing with you the achievements of our brilliant young students. This is an occasion of joy for all of us as we have come together for celebrating this auspicious day. This goes without saying that the award ceremony is amongst my most treasured occasions of the school as it provides us with an opportunity to reflect on the preceding year, address the whole community and share the achievements, success and plans of our school for the days to come.

Our school truly believes that good education plays a crucial role in building a bright future for our children. Therefore, here we are committed to providing an atmosphere to our students where they all can imbibe good values and learn new things every day. I am extremely glad at the fact that our school committee members as well as teachers are leaving no stone unturned in working towards this direction. On this important occasion, we get a chance to publically celebrate this success achieved through the sheer hard work and perseverance of both our students as well as teachers.

Our students have not only excelled in academics but are also very good at the extra-curricular activities like sports, drama, artworks, organizing school events and many other things. They have not only made us proud, but brought accolades to our school and have given it a nation-wide recognition, thus adding extra feather to its cap. Students like you are responsible for the continuous growth and development of our school in combined efforts with the extremely proficient council members as well as our teachers.

Our school has constantly received attention from media, and has well-hosted the visits of the renowned personalities from the well-known institutions, national as well as overseas. Most of the visitors have even returned to pay multiple visits to our school for closely observing our students and supporting the faculty members. Luckily, feedback received from the visiting faculties has always been positive. This certainly wouldn’t have been possible without our committed staff members and capable students of this school.

I express my heartiest gratitude to the principal, teachers and parents for their support and collective efforts towards the development of these young talents, grooming them to achieve something substantial in life and above all, raising them with a benign attitude. Whatever our students have achieved so far would never have been possible without your constant endeavor.

I am extremely pleased to announce that the contribution of each and everyone present here has borne fruit. So I thank you all for having come together and adding more grace to this ceremony.

At last, I am going to recite a few lines.

“Succeeding in life is as simple as being a good student. All you have to do is pay attention, work hard and give it a best shot.”

Thank you very much!

Welcome Speech for Sports Award Ceremony

Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen, our media partners, sponsors, respected officials and our very talented athletes! I heartily welcome you all to the sports award ceremony of this institution.

It gives me immense pleasure to host this ceremony that has been observed to commemorate the achievements of our teams, officials and athletes. This event truly showcases the commitment that all the members have shown towards the sports competition held last year in December 2016. The preceding year was indeed a very busy year for all of us as we had worked really hard to get through this competition. Our young athletes participated in all the four major games, namely table tennis, karate, cycling and indoor football and emerged with flying colours. You people have made us extremely proud.

Today, we are here to announce the lucky winners of the 12 main awards and also for applauding the victory of our commendable award recipients. A huge congratulations to all the finalists, you have definitely set a very admiring benchmark for other sports persons of this institution to imitate. We hope that you will continue to achieve brilliance in your respective sports career and in other spheres too.

Babe Ruth has rightly said, “The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don’t play together, the club won’t be worth a dime.” Our football team has proved that a game can only be victorious when the players are well-coordinated and are imbued with a true team spirit. Due to such great efforts in league, the team has brought home second prize in the event organized in Pune at the national level and made our institution extremely proud.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of our esteemed board members, National Sports Association, city’s sports club and specially the National Olympic Council team members for making this day special for all those who have the nerve to achieve something in their lives.

I would also like to express my gratitude towards the organizing committee members who have fulfilled their duties quite well; did not fail to justify their roles and took all the loads of work with a smile. This event would have not been possible without you. I also want to thank all the athletes, volunteers, family and friends for making this sports award ceremony happen at such a grand level.

In the end, I would like to address those participants who even though have not won any of the awards but still put up a great show in the competition. Also, I would like to add by saying that it’s never too late to start over and try again. I have a short line for you delivered by Vince Lombardi.

“It’s not whether you get knocked down; it’s whether you get up.”

Now I want to request our chief guest to come on stage to say a few inspiring words.

Well…Education is much more than what happens within the four walls of the classroom and the school is very fortunate to have such teachers, trainers and instructors who recognise the same. In fact, if the building and teachers are the two pillars of any school, then all you students certainly are the third pillar.

Now, may I please welcome Respected Director Sir and Principal Ma’am to this prestigious Award Ceremony.

Annual prize distribution day is a prestige event that our school/college holds every year. The main aim of this event is to reward the students who achieve excellence in their studies and are always a step ahead than the others. (Describe on Program type/objective of today’s program). I am very happy to announce that this year a lot of students are on that mark, and they shall be rewarded respectively.

The annual prize distribution day is not just a day to reward our students but, this day is specially organized to make our students believe that their efforts do not go unrecognized and that they are an asset of this school and this country. (Explain your expectation regarding today’s program).

Parents surely appreciate their children upon securing excellent marks in their academics however the school believes that just appreciating isn’t enough. (Explain all about the program schedule and ceremony). Children need motivation, motivation to continue their studies in an excellent way, this creates a sense of motivation among the students, making them able to continue further the same way they have been.

Speech on Prize Distribution Ceremony

March 25, 2018 by Study Mentor Leave a Comment

A very good evening to my friends and fellow students, esteemed dignitaries and teachers present here. Today we are going to celebrate the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony for this year. It is indeed a very important year because this premier Institute completes its 150th anniversary this year too.

I’m very sure most of you are extremely familiar with the emotions that we are going to go with today’s Prize Distribution Ceremony but before that I have been told by the organizers and our honourable Vice Chancellor Sir to deliver a short message to you on this auspicious occasion.

When I was given this task I probably thought a hundred times in my own head what is there to say about prize distribution? I was confused. The most obvious thing to do on any of price distribution is just to deliver the prizes to the recipients.

But as you all know our Institute prides itself in not following the convention. And that is the reason today we are going to follow a very unconventional Prize Distribution Ceremony beginning with quite interesting speech which I am going to speak in front of you all. It will be a great honour for me if I could get your kind attention.

On a day of Prize Distribution let me explain to you what I feel about prizes and why should they be given. Most of you will probably think that there is no answer to this question that why prizes are given. A person wins and gets a price. So conventional and so predictive right? Wrong.

Giving away prizes to people is of extreme and special importance. It helps in our goal to achieve excellence. It is a motivation for ourselves and each one of us. A prize or an award helps set a precedent and benchmark. Excellence can never be achieved without competition and where there is competition there is winning and losing.

To motivate everyone in the game we give away prizes to the ones who are a little bit ahead of others. It is only when we see our fellow mates reaching success that we get hungry for success. When we see that something, that we feel is unachievable, has been achieved by someone else, everything seems easy.

Just like a great personality once said the only constraints to human achievement are the walls built by our own selves. We fear to go the path not taken. The reason behind this is white scientific and evolutionary nature. No don’t worry.

You are not technically occurred if you do not wish to take a risk or an unconventional path in our case. It is in the human DNA for survival that make us weak to take the path which is less risky in nature. However, if we take the common path just like others we remain a commoner.

We can never be a unique individual in ourselves who will make a mark in human history and Society. Nobody will remember us if we do the same thing that the person decides is also doing.

On a funny note, the person beside me right now, is the next speaker of this evening and a fellow classmate of mine who is engaged or rather engrossed in his habit of biting his nails out of tension! This is also why you should never do what a person beside you does!

Today various prizes will be given. Some will be for excellence in Academics, some for excellence in sports, some for attendance, some for tremendous achievement in the field of research, science and so on and so forth. We all know that there is only one winner and today many hopes will be broken, and many dreams will come true.

A few of you would be called on stage to receive trophies and most of you probably will not. But don’t break your heart’s my dear friends. The trophy that you see today that your friend receives is a motivation for you to achieve it on the next Prize Distribution Ceremony.

Participation is after on what is most important and not winning. Meaning might be out of luck to. But when you lose you are one step towards success surely. When you win after terms of failures, you can at least be sure that there was no luck that can lay clean to your victory.

Now let me talk to the people who will be getting prizes today. All you winners out here, listen to me carefully. It is very important to know what to do when you do not win. Most of you know that we must not lose heart and strive to achieve excellence the next time. But more important than that is to know how to handle a success or a victory.

This one price today means nothing. Sorry if I’m being rude or blunt but remember this small price is only a recognition of what you have done and there is lots more to do. Life doesn’t stop here. This trophy does not provide you the luxury of taking a break from your constant struggle for success.

Feature image of Anchoring Script For Republic Day

26th January is celebrated every year as Republic Day in India. It was on 26th January 1950 that the constitution of India came into effect and our country became a Republic. Thus, the day is celebrated with great patriotism. On 26th January, events are held in various schools, colleges and local clubs. These events include flag hoisting, singing the National Anthem and other patriotic songs, speeches and cultural programs.

If you are going to anchor a Republic day event, this script will definitely help you. An anchor should always start a program with a fitting quote, a poem or some famous saying so that he or she is able to capture the attention of the audience. For Republic day events, patriotic quotes or poems can be a good start. After that, it is important to follow up with a good welcome speech.

For Example:

“Hello, good morning and very Happy Republic Day to all. Today is India’s 74th Republic Day. It has been 74 years since the constitution of India came into effect and our nation became a Republic. I am [your name], your host for today and on this beautiful day, I warmly welcome you all to [school/college name]’s Republic Day event. We are really honoured to have the Honourable Ramesh Patel, M.L.A., as our chief guest today. Honourable chief guest, respected principal sir/ma’am, dear teachers, guardians and students, I am very glad to have you all with us today and I welcome you with all my heart to witness and enjoy the event. Thank you.”

“I would first like to invite our respected principal, Mr/ Ms [full name] and our honourable guest, Mr Ramesh Patel, to please come up on the stage. Thank you.

Now, I would like to request our Principal sir/ma’am to honour our chief guest with a bouquet and memento. We thank you for gracing us with your presence. Thank you.”

After the ceremony

“Thank you, respected sir/ ma’am. I would now request you to please take your seats and enjoy the event. Thank you. Let’s give them a huge round of applause.”

“A thoughtful mind, when it sees a nation’s flag, sees not the flag, but the nation itself.” – Henry Ward Beecher

“It is now time for the flag hoisting ceremony. I would like to invite our chief guest, Mr Patel, as well as our principal, Mr/Ms [full name] to please come up to the hoisting stage and start the ceremony. Thank you.”

“I would request everyone to please stand at attention and salute our tricolour. Thank you.”

National Anthem

“Now, it is time for us to sing our National Anthem. May I request everyone to stand up straight in attention and sing the anthem as our school/college band plays the tune? Thank you.”

“Our National pledge is our oath of allegiance to our nation, the Republic of India. May I request everyone to stand straight in attention and say the national pledge after me? Thank you.

India is my country. And All Indians are my brothers and sisters. I love my country and I am proud of its rich and varied heritage. I shall always strive to be worthy of it. I shall give my parents, teachers, and all elders; respect and treat everyone with courtesy. To my country and my people, I pledge my devotion. In their well-being and prosperity alone lies my happiness.

Thank you, everyone. You may now take your seats.”

“I would now request our respected principal sir/ma’am to please come up on the stage and say a few words on this special occasion of our independence day. Thank you.”

After the speech

“Thank you, Sir/ Ma’am. Your words always inspire and encourage us. Indeed, we are the citizens of this great nation and we must never take our freedom and our constitution for granted. We will always remember your words. Thank you. Everyone, please give him/ her a huge round of applause. Thank you.”

“As long as you don’t achieve social liberty, whatever freedom is provided by the law is of no avail to you.” – B. R. Ambedkar

“Our students have prepared speeches today on various topics like social liberty, law and order, freedom, constitution and more. I would now like to invite them on the stage to present their speeches. First, we have Mr/Ms [student’s name] from class [x]. He/she will be expressing her views on the topic of social liberty. I would like to request Mr/Ms [name] to please come up on the stage. Thank you.”

“Thank you, Mr/Ms [student’s name]. That was indeed an amazing speech. You may now take your seat. Next, I would like to invite Mr/Ms [student’s name] on the stage to present his/her speech on the topic of [topic]. Thank you.”

Similarly, you can invite and introduce the rest of the students.

“Where words fail, music speaks.” – Hans Christian Andersen

“Now our school/college choir will sing a patriotic song. May I request the choir members to take their positions? Thank you so much. To everyone else, I request, please take your seats and maintain silence. Thank you.”

After the song

“That was beautiful. Everyone, please give them a huge round of applause. Thank you so much.”

“India is a land of rich beauty and cultural diversity. On this beautiful day, the students of our institution are going to perform a dance that brings together that diversity and creates perfect harmony. This fusion dance takes inspiration from the classical and folk dance forms of all the different regions of India. I would now like to invite the participants to the stage. Thank you.”

After the performance

“What a wonderful performance. Thank you so much. I would like to request everyone to please give them a huge round of applause.

“It is now time for the prize distribution ceremony. We had our annual sports days on the 23rd of January and the winners are going to be awarded today. I would like to request our honourable chief guest and our respected principal sir/ma’am to please come up on the stage so that we can start the ceremony. Thank you.

I will now be calling out the names of the winners one by one… “

Speech by the Chief Guest

“A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history when we step out from the old to the new; when an age ends; and when the soul of a nation long suppressed finds utterance.” – Jawaharlal Nehru

“We are now approaching the end of this event. But we can not conclude it without having our honourable chief guest say a few words. So, I request honourable Mr Patel to please come up on the stage and say a few words. Thank you.”

“Thank you so much, sir. We will always remember your words. Thank you. You may now take your seat.”

“It is time for us to sing our national song, Vande Mataram. I request everyone to please stand straight and follow our choir. Thank you.”

“One of the pioneers of our country Lala Lajpat Rai once said, We must have complete faith in ourselves. We can be successful only if we believe in our efforts. ‘Nations are made by themselves. We can take guidance, cooperation, and advice in certain matters but not patronage and diction in all the matters. We are not children but a mature nation with the wisdom of 6000 years behind us.

“With that, we have now come to the conclusion of the event. Thank you all for attending today’s Republic day event and making it successful. A special thank you to our chief guest, honourable Mr Patel, for taking time out from his extremely busy schedule and attending our event. Thank you so much. Thank you all.

We have prepared sweets for everyone. Please receive them before leaving. And once again, a very happy Republic day. Have a great day. Take care.”

Note: This is a sample script meant to provide you with a basic idea of how to write an anchoring script for an event on the occasion of republic day. Feel free to use this script and edit it as per your needs.
