IGNOU extends last date for submitting June 2023 TEE assignments

Learners who will take the ignou june 2023 tee can submit their assignments till may 15..

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date of submitting assignments for the June 2023 Term End Examination. Learners who will take the IGNOU June 2023 TEE can submit hard or soft copies of their assignments till May 15. This is applicable to learners enrolled in ODL and Online programmes, GOAL and EVBB, the university said.

“With the approval of the Competent Authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard copy and soft copy) for Term End Examinations, June- 2023 for ODL, Online programmes, GOAL and EVBB has further been extended up to 15th MAY, 2023,” the notification reads.

As per the final date sheet, IGNOU JUNE TEE 2023, exams will begin on June 1 and will end on July 6, 2023.

These exams will be held in two shifts. The first shift is from 10 am 10 1 pm and the second one is from 2 pm to 5 pm. For further details, learners can visit the IGNOU website, ignou.ac.in.

NEW DELHI : The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date to submit assignments for the Term-End Examination (TEE) June 2023 for online and Online Distance Learning till May 15. IGNOU June TEE 2023 will be conducted from June 1. Students appearing for the exams can check the June 2023 datesheet on the official website – ignou.ac.in.

“With the approval of the Competent Authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard copy and soft copy) for Term End Examinations, June2023 for ODL, Online programmes, GOAL and EVBB ha:s further been extended up to 15th MAY, 2023,” said an official notice from IGNOU.

Students need to submit one hand-written assignment for each eight credit course. Students have to submit fresh assignments and once they are uploaded, the old assignments are not valid.

How to submit IGNOU assignments?

• Submit assignments to your study centre or regional centre as per the instructions given by the regional centre. Include your contact information (programme code, course code, enrollment no, email, phone) on assignments.
• If only hard copies are being accepted as per instructions provided by your regional centre, send hand written, signed assignments to the address provided to you. In case soft copies are being accepted during extenuating circumstances such as Covid 19, these must be signed and scanned. If you have opted for SOGDS as your RC, submit your assignments to [email protected]
• Assignments must be submitted as single documents for each course. Do not submit separate pages and do not combine assignments for two courses in a single document.

“In case you miss the assignment submission deadline, you may still be able to submit it late. However, this may entail a late fee for the related Term End Exam. If you have submitted the assignment but miss an exam, you can appear for the exam in any subsequent semester,” said IGNOU in FAQs.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started accepting assignment submissions for the June 2023 session from 1st March 2023 for all students of ODL and Online mode. The submission of assignments is mandatory for all students to be eligible for appearing in the exam.

Submission Guidelines for ODL Mode Students

ODL mode students need to submit their assignments at their respective study centers only. The assignments must be submitted in person or via speed post as per the guidelines provided by the regional center. Students must ensure that their assignment responses are legible and neat to fetch extra scores.

Submission Guidelines for Online Mode Students

Online mode students need to submit their assignments on the Learning Management System (LMS) provided by the university. The assignments should be in hand-written scanned PDF format to upload on the LMS.

Ignou assignment submission last date.

The last date for submitting assignments for the June 2023 examination session is 31 oct 2023. All old or new learners who are eligible for submission can submit their assignments for the current session. Additionally, July 2022 admission students can submit their assignments in March/April 2023 for TEE June 2023 session.

Extension of Assignment Submission Last Date for TEE December 2022 Session

The university has extended the last date for submitting assignments for the TEE December 2022 session for all PG, UG Diploma, and Certificate programs of ODL and Online mode. The new extended last date is 15th December 2022. Students can submit their project, internship, dissertation, and fieldwork on or before the new extended last date either in online or offline mode, while assignments must be submitted at the study center in offline mode.

Programme-Wise Detail of IGNOU Assignment Submission Last Date

The last date for IGNOU assignment submission is not program-specific. Generally, for most of the programs, the assignment last date is written as 31st March or 30th September on the assignment question paper. However, if you see the assignment question paper for various papers, you will find the last date as 30th April and 31st October. The last date is common for all programs.

Useful Information on IGNOU Assignment Last Date and Question Paper for June 2023 Session

All Master, Bachelor, PG Diploma (PGD), Diploma, Certificate students who have taken admission/RR in July 2022 session or prior are eligible to submit their assignments for the June 2023 session. Certificate and semester-based program students of the January 2023 admission session are also eligible for assignment submission under TEE June 2023 session. Students need to submit their assignments at their respective IGNOU study centers only.

IGNOU students must ensure that they submit their assignments before the last date to be eligible for appearing in the exam. The university provides both online and offline modes for assignment submission, and students must follow the guidelines provided by the university for submission. Students must also ensure that their assignment responses are neat and legible to fetch extra scores.

• The last date to submit IGNOU assignments for the June 2023 session is 30th April 2023.
• All students of ODL mode and Online mode, including Master, Bachelor, PG Diploma (PGD), Diploma, and Certificate students who have taken admission in July 2022 Session or prior, are eligible to submit assignments for the June 2023 session.
• Online Programme (OL) Learners need to submit their assignments on the Learning Management System (LMS) in handwritten scanned PDF format. However, ODL mode students need to submit their assignments at their study center only.

Can I submit my IGNOU project, internship, dissertation, or fieldwork after the extended deadline?

• You can submit your IGNOU project, internship, dissertation, or fieldwork on or before the new extended last date either in online or offline mode while assignments must be submitted at the study center in Offline mode (in person / Speed Post) or as per your Regional Center guidelines.
• As of now, there is no official notification regarding an extension in the IGNOU assignment last date for the June 2023 session. However, any such extension will be notified with an official notification on 31st March 2023.
• You can check the status of your IGNOU assignment online, which will be reflected in your Grade Card after a few weeks.

The IGNOU has released the guidelines that students must comply while preparing and submitting their assignments. Here are the updated guidelines:

All the assignment should be hand written.

Students must use A4 ruled paper (unless it is instructed on your TMA).

Leave 4 cm margin on left and right side of each page.

Do not use staplers, to bind the pages; you use need threads (what is typically found with cover files).

Avoid using any ink colour other than blue and black.

First you need to attach the cover page (You will find it at your study centre).

Then, attach a photocopy of your IGNOU ID card.

After that, attach a copy of your TMA (question paper on your assignment document).

Lastly, attach your hand written answers.

Leave one blank page in the end.

Do not use any files while submitting your assignments. Your assignment should only consist of the pages, tied with a thread.

You must take a submission receipt, which will be stamped by the study centre with submission dates. In case, your study centre is unable to provide you one, take a photocopy of the cover page of your assignment and get that stamped.

Note: For submission of practicals, you need to use a cover file.

The IGNOU 2024 assignment status window is typically updated in 25 days after submission of assignment. Usually, the university updates the assignment marks just a few days before the IGNOU TEE result declaration. Once assignments have been submitted through any of the available methods before the last date of IGNOU assignment submission, they are sent to the evaluator of the study centre or regional centre for assessment. Upon successful evaluation, the evaluator will either upload the marks directly to the IGNOU site or send them to IGNOU Delhi for online updating. Afterwards, students can view the assignment submission status IGNOU, IGNOU assignment marks check, grades and results of their assignments on the website. Generally, IGNOU assignment marks are uploaded and updated within 40 days of submission to the relevant study or regional centre.

IGNOU Assignment Last date Extended, Applicable to Project submission too.

Last date of IGNOU assignment has been further extended upto 15th May 2024 as huge number of student has take admission on 31st March 2024.

This is applicable to All Programme student under TEE June 2024 SSN including Master and Bachelor Degree. IGNOU Assignment last date is common for all students irrespective of Admission year, Programme or Mode (ODL or OL).

IGNOU Assignment last date is always extended from 31 march to 30 April in first lot because of extension in admission date for January session. Further, IGNOU Exam form last date is extended till 25  May 2024 . So it implies in a way that Assignment last date also to be again extended around the last date of exam form submission. This is as per previous session practice of extension in last date for assignment and exam form together.  Also the study material delay delivery is reason for assignment date extension. Assignment submission for June 2024 session has started from 1 March 2024. Both ODL and OL Programme mode student has to submit assignment for each course code. IGNOU Exam form submission has also started and student can Apply for exam.

IGNOU assignment last date is a time frame given to the students. They need to download question paper and submit assignment answers at Study centre (for ODL mode students ) or at LMS (for OL mode students ). IGNOU assignment plays very important role in fetching good percentage of marks, so you should give attention to the assignment portion along with your theory exam. Assignment should be hand written. What is Assignment Submission Deadline in IGNOU ?

IGNOU assignment last date is also called the deadline to submit assignment at Study center. Online mode (OL) learner need to submit assignment at LMS (Learning Management System). As per University Calendar Assignment submission is done twice every year for June and December session .

As per instruction, IGNOU assignment submission last date varies from programme to programme. The due date is mentioned in the instruction page of assignment question paper.

• For TEE June Cycle / Session   : In this cycle Assignment submission starts from 1st March and ends on 31 March but in some case (like when admission for January Cycle is delayed ) the University  extends the last date for assignment submission like for TEE June 2022 session it was extended upto 20th July 2022 and
• For TEE Dec Cycle/ Session : In this cycle Assignment submission start from 1st September and ends on 30th September but in some case (like when admission for July Cycle is delayed) the University extends the last date for assignment submission.

1. For Student of Year based UG, PG, PG Diploma or Diploma programme

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Year based (Eg : MEG, MPS, MCOM, MPA etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Year assignment between 1 - 30th Sep 2021 and this session is considered as TEE DEC 2022 SESSION . For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE DEC 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

2. For Student of Semester based UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma and Certificate programme

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Semester based (Eg: BCA, MCA, MP, PGCCL etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Semester assignment between 1 - 30th March 2021 and this session is considered as TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION .For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

The IGNOU Student Evaluation Division (SED) monitors and updates Term-end examinations result, assignments submisisons and extension of dates, projects, practical examinations, dissertations, viva-voce, field work, etc. and award of  degrees/ Diplomas/ certificates.

First year July 2023 admission session students of MEG, MCOM, , MHD, MPS, MAH, MSO, MAPC, MEC, MPA, MAAN, MGPS, MARD, MSCDFSM, MSCCFT, MSW, MSWC, MAEDU, MADE, MAAE, MAPY, MADVS,  MAGD, MATS, MAJMC etc can submit assignment for June 2024 session. The last date of IGNOU assignment is 30 April 2024.

Once a learner submitted the assignment, never forget to check the assignment submission status on the website after few weeks.

Generally Once the assignment submission date is over, Study Center takes necessary  steps to get the assignment evaluated and is sent to the approved evaluator / Academic Counsellor of IGNOU for evaluation. Later when Evaluator completes the evaluation and tabulation of marks course wise then it submitted to the Study Center Co-ordinator. Later it is uploaded on the University website.

How can I Check my IGNOU assignment submission status ?

The status of assignment submitted for TEE June Cycle/Session starts reflecting on the website from June/July month. Similarly the status of assignment submitted  for TEE December Cycle/Session starts reflecting on the website  from December/January month. After the transmission of assignment data from study center or regioanl center finally after few days/weeks assignment marks is updated in the Grade Card.

How to resolve Discrepancy in IGNOU assignment submission status ?

Any discrepancy in your assignment submission status, you may bring to the notice of Co-ordinator OR functionaries of study center for immediate resolution. If any discrepancy found : Student need not to be panic. They should contact Study Center Co-ordinator in the Month of

IGNOU June 2024 TEE: Assignment submission deadline extended till May 31

Ignou assignment's last date 2024 has been extended for odl and online programmes for the june tee session. the university will now accept assignments (both hard copy and soft copy) till may 31, 2024..

IGNOU TEE assignment submission 2024: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the assignment submission last date for ODL and online courses. Now, students can submit their assignments both in soft and hard copies by May 31.

Candidates enrolled in ODL, online programmes, GOAL, and EVBB for the June 2024 TEE can submit their projects, dissertations, practical files, and internship reports online at the official website – ignou.ac.in,  the open university said in an official notification.

However, students are suggested to submit the assignment before the last date to avoid last minute rush. Students must note that the IGNOU assignment submission last date 2024 is common for all programmes irrespective of admission year, mode or programme. 

Candidates are required to attach a copy of the fee receipt with the project report at the time of submission of hardcopy or by uploading it to the online portal. 

IGNOU June TEE 2024: Steps for assignment submission

Step 1: Go to the official website – ignou.ac.in

Step 2: Navigate to the assignment submission link available on the homepage

Step 3: Login using the necessary credentials in the designated field

Step 4: Upload the scanned assignment with the respective code

Step 5: Submit the assignment

Step 6: Students are advised to take a screenshot of the assignment submission receipt for further reference

“With the approval of the competent authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard copy and soft copy) for term end examination, June 2024 for both ODL and online programmes, GOAL and EVBB has been extended up to May 31,” read the notification. 

The IGNOU has stared the fresh admission cycle for undergraduate, postgraduate, and other programmes for the July 24 academic year. The last date to apply for the various programmes at IGNOU is June 30. The university offers certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, postgraduate diplomas, and degrees. The University is offering more than 290 UG, PG, PG diploma, diploma, certificate and awareness programmes through ODL and online mode.

How to Submit IGNOU Assignment for TEE June & Dec 2024?

IGNOU Assignment Submission Methods 2024 – As per the regular schedule of the IGNOU Assignment submission, the university going to accept the IGNOU Assignment for the Term-end examination June 2024 till 15th May 2024 so the students can submit their assignments latest by 15th May 2024 to get eligible to appear in the upcoming TEE June 2024 . It is also noted that the given last date is subject to change or extension that should not be treated as the final date of submission.

The university may extend the assignment submission date so candidates have to wait for the official announcement from IGNOU after they missed the due date. The students now can also submit their assignments online if they are not able to visit their respective centers.

So, now there are three different ways how the students can submit the assignments based on their convenience.

• IGNOU Assignment 2023 (Last Date)
• IGNOU Assignment Status 2023 (UPDATED)
• IGNOU Project 2023 (Online Submission)

Through Offline Mode

This is the usual way through which the students usually submit the assignments. The students have to finish answering the questions of the assignments and then submit them to the study center. While preparing the assignments, you should make sure that the very first page of the assignment should have all the necessary details.

• The name of the student
• Enrolment number
• Program and Code code
• Name, Code, and address of the study center where you are submitting the assignment
• Mobile number and email address of the student
• IGNOU Assignment Front Page (PDF)
• IGNOU Study Centre List

If you are submitting the assignments directly through offline mode, the person at the study center will offer you a receipt that you need to keep safe till the result is not declared.

Through Online Mode

For students who are not able to visit the study center to submit the assignments can also submit them online now by following any of these two methods. It is noted that both of the methods are subject to availability at the respective regional centre.

Google Form

The very first method is that of Google Forms. The students can visit the respective regional portals of IGNOU and then submit the assignments. You can follow the below steps for the successful submission of assignments through Google Form.

Step – 1 – First of all, have a look on the list of IGNOU Regional Centres at the Official Website of IGNOU and go to your RC website.

Step – 2 – On the homepage of RC’s official page, go to the section of News and Events.

Step – 3 – You should get the option of Assignment Guidelines or Assignment Submission on which you have to click.

Step – 4 – As you click on the link, the Google form will get open in the browser.

Step – 5 – Now now start filling the form with proper details such as your name, enrolment number, subject code, and others.

Step – 6 – Carefully upload the scanned copy of your assignment and submit the form.

Instructions to Follow

While you are submitting the assignments through Google Form, make sure that you follow these important instructions.

• You have to fill a new form for each subject.
• Make sure that you are uploading the assignment files correctly.
• You need to scan the handwritten copies of the assignments and upload them.
• The scanned copy of assignments should not be more than 100MB.
• You should only submit the PDF format of the scanned copy.
• Though you will be entering the basic details in the Google Form, it is also a great idea to mention the same details on your assignment copy also.
• The option of submitting the assignments through Google Forms will be available only when the quota of email submission is over.

Through Email Address

Though IGNOU has started the option of submitting the assignments through Google Forms, it will be not available in all the regional centers. The option of Google Forms will be only applicable if the email quota of a regional center is over and they are not more able to receive assignment emails from the students.

Here is the method that you need to follow to submit your assignments through email.

Step – 1 – Mention all the important details on the front page of your assignment that you would do in the case of offline submissions such as name, subject name and code, program and course code, study center name and code, contact details, and others.

Step – 2 – Scan your handwritten assignment copy and get it in PDF format. Each subject assignment should be in each PDF copy.

Step – 3 – Find out the email address of your regional center from Google in the same way how you search for the regional center portal link.

Step – 4 – In the body of the email, provide all the details in a listicle format that you have mentioned on the front page of your assignments.

Step – 5 – Now attach the PDF formats of your assignments and send the email to the respective regional center email address.

After you have sent the email, you should receive an acknowledgment. It may take a few hours to get this acknowledgment email. But if you have still not received it, you should check whether the regional portal has shared the link for Google Forms or not and should upload the assignments there too.

It is also noted that the many of the regional centre of IGNOU is not sending any confirmation or acknowledgment after the submission of IGNOU Assignments so you don’t need to worry about it instead of keep checking the status of your assignments to get the result.
