Pan Nalin's splendid work is funny, melancholy, and inspiring. Last Film Show is a wondrous addition to the canon of films celebrating films and will have you cheering for young Samay and his passion to find the light.

The true heart wrenching moment is with the reels to digital transformation bit which is beautifully depicted on screen. The film's end however looked rushed. Overall, it is a sweet tribute to cinema. With a runtime under 2 hours, one cannot complain much about the pace.
