Gruppe von Studentinnen und Studenten

Are you looking for a scholarship or a research grant for Austria? International students and researchers can apply for scholarships at various institutions. There are different financial support options depending on your country of origin and your academic level. Please note that scholarships are offered by different institutions (OeAD, other financial support organisations, foundations, etc.).

Institutions interested in using the OeAD’s proven services for their tailor-made programmes can find more information here .

You can find details of the OeAD’s scholarship programmes – for bachelor's, master’s, PhD students, post-docs and researchers – here. Some programmes are open to applicants from all countries, others are only open for specific target groups (depending on their country of origin). You will find a reference to the target group for which the scholarship is intended (in parentheses).

Institutional grants

Moreover, some higher education institutions offer scholarships for international students themselves. Institutional scholarships. The international office of the higher education institution at which you are going to study provides information about these.

Grants and scholarships from your home country

Please also enquire in your home country whether or not there are scholarships or other financial support options for you.

Austrian database for scholarships and research grants

At www.grants.at , Austria’s most comprehensive database for scholarships and research funding, you will find an overview of a great number of financial support options. Please note that there are hardly any financial support options for students in bachelor’s programmes. A whole degree programme in Austria is also hardly ever supported financially.

oead.map of projects and alumni

The oead.map is a virtual map which displays registered projects and alumni funded by the OeAD and allows them to be presented in an international context. By using this map, higher education institutions and international organisations can easily find out about OeAD-funded projects from their region. Students and researchers can look for registered OeAD scholarship holders and connect with alumni through the oead.map.

phd fellowship austria

Financial support for PhD students and interns is a key priority for ISTA.

Status of our students.

PhD students are employed by ISTA . Prior to the Qualifying Exam , their activities consist of coursework, rotation projects within research groups, and preparation for the Qualifying Exam. Once the students have successfully passed the Qualifying Exam, they perform research on their PhD thesis project within one or more research groups, and they may assist in teaching activities.

All our PhD students receive internationally competitive salaries and full social security coverage. Students also receive  financial support  to attend scientific conferences and workshops during their studies.

Scientific interns are employed by ISTA. They are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in good standing at a degree granting institution (other than ISTA) while performing a research project within a research group of ISTA for a period of up to 1 year.

ISTerns receive a monthly compensation. The ISTernship program is developed in cooperation with the OeAD, the Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research. The OeAD handles the scholarship payments for a period of up to 3 months between May 15 and September 15.

PhD student salaries depend on whether the student is holding a bachelor’s or a master’s degree at the time of admission. When students pass their Qualifying Exam (about 1.5 years into their degree), they receive a salary raise. Gross salaries in the year 2024 for PhD students range – dependent on the criteria above – from 2874 EUR/month to 3456 EUR/month (paid 14 times a year: once per month plus double payments in June and November).

ISTA offers scientific interns a minimum salary of EUR 1,462 gross per month.

Admission Costs and Tuition Fees

ISTA does not charge any tuition fees . No application fee is required to apply to our PhD and internship programs.

Research Funding and Awards

In all fields of research, funding is of paramount importance to sustain the resources needed by scientists. ISTA relies on diverse funding sources to support all its researchers.

The Grant Office is there to support applicants wishing to apply for external funding. PhD students at ISTA are no exception since it is best to acquire grant writing skills early on in one’s scientific career. For academic job applications, competitive peer-reviewed fellowships can be a powerful indicator that 1) you’re a scientist worth investing in, and 2) that your research projects are of the highest quality.

Fellowships which have been awarded to PhD students and interns at ISTA include:

  • DOC fellowships from the Austrian Academy of Science
  • Böhringer Ingelheim Foundation fellowships
  • IBM PhD Fellowship
  • FEMTech Stipends of the FFG, and
  • ISTernships (internally funded).

Students can also be part of larger projects within their research groups. ISTA has been particularly successful in receiving a large number of prestigious European Research Council (ERC) grants which reward innovative projects for their research excellence.

In addition, students may be involved in projects funded by more local sources such as:

  • the Austrian Science Fund (FWF)
  • the Land Niederösterreich (NFB)

The opportunity to network with other institutions is one of the highlights of the cooperative grants currently running at ISTA. These bring together eminent scientists (and sometimes companies) from across Europe and beyond to work on challenges in a specific field. They can also be specifically aimed at PhD student training, as is the case with:

  • Doktoratskollegs from the FWF
  • Initial Training Networks (ITN) from the European Commission

All scientists at ISTA are supported by the Grant Office in all matters related to external funding : from application, implementation, to reporting to the relevant funding organizations.

More about Awards .

phd fellowship austria

The ISTA PhD program received funding (09/2015-10/2020) from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the project ‘ISTScholar’ (grant agreement No 665385).

CeMM is an international, independent and interdisciplinary Research Center for Molecular Medicine of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. “From the clinic to the clinic”: Driven by medical needs, CeMM integrates basic research and clinical expertise to pursue innovative diagnostic and therapeutic approaches focused on cancer, inflammation and immune disorders.

The PhD Program will train a new generation of researchers based on a novel, post-genomic, molecular understanding of biological and pathological systems and will thereby contribute to shaping the predictive, preventive and personalized (also termed “precise”) medicine of the future. To reach this goal, students will be made familiar not only with biomedical technologies, but also with the basic principles of cell- and molecular biology and the application of this knowledge for a molecular understanding of diseases and targeted therapeutic concepts. The PhD students will also learn how to navigate the complexity of translationally-minded multidisciplinary biomedical projects at the level of communication and management.

A key feature of the CeMM PhD Program is its collaborative and inter-disciplinary work style. Scientists with different backgrounds such as computer scientists, medical doctors, life scientists, mathematicians, chemists or physicists work together at CeMM to solve complex scientific problems.

Postdocs in Austria Post-doctorate fellowships in Austria for foreigners

In Austria, universities and research institutions have strict requirements and high expectations for postdoc fellowships. This article will give you an insight into postdoc fellowships in Austria, as well as what you may expect to receive in terms of salary and financial remuneration.

Stairs metaphor postdoc in Austria

A brief introduction to postdoc fellowships in Austria

Getting a postdoc position, career prospects, postdocs in austria: salaries.

Austria is home to many respected and prestigious research institutions and universities. This includes the University of Graz, TU Wien and the University of Vienna.

Post-doctoral studies are the phase between a doctorate and a professorship. This is a qualification phase, during which postdocs delve deeper into their specialist areas. It does depend on the institution, but positions are generally between two and three years in length but can be up to four. Candidates are selected by the head of the research group – generally the professor or assistant professor and is subjected to sufficient funds. Applications are on a continuous basis.

Entry into such programmes are highly sought after and therefore competitive. However, there are a growing number of courses with institutions in Austria, particularly with science institutions, so there is a good chance of gaining a position with the relevant academic qualification.

Post-doctorate studies are conducted on specific topics. It depends on the course, but positions may also come attached with teaching duties.

Again, it does depend on the institution, as each varies its requirements for entry, but the emphasis on recruitment is based on the highest standard of doctorate previously achieved.

Outside of academic success, universities and institutions place an emphasis on so-called ‘soft skills’. These can be obvious personality traits such as ambition or enthusiasm; spending time abroad and a good grasp of a foreign language, particularly English, is seen as desirable. In addition, knowledge of the German language would be a plus.

Applicants must check the eligibility requirements for post-doctorate positions if coming from abroad. While this varies depending on the institution, applicants may be asked to fulfil or commit to varying different requirements. It is not unusual to commit to relocating to Austria for the period of appointment. Some institutions ask that candidates have previously lived in Austria, and some are only eligible if they have lived in the country for a set period.

It is important to take note of job announcements such as those listed on academics.com . These should be read carefully and you should ask yourself how the role that interests you fits into your research career. The tasks and duties must be appropriate to what you may want to do. What requirements do you feel you meet – and do not meet?

Applicants are frequently asked for their list of publications, so be prepared to cite examples of your work. Applicants are also asked to provide a “motivation” letter – explaining why you are applying, what your ambitions are and why the institution to which you are applying appeals.

It would not be unusual for the institution to ask to see a copy of the thesis from your highest obtained degree.

In a survey taken by Viennese post-doctorates the following was found:

  • 50 per cent of post-doctorates are forced to leave academia
  • 30 per cent leave voluntarily
  • 19 per cent think they can get a job outside academia

There was found to be a gender bias, with female postdocs being less confident in their career options. More females had been unemployed and for longer when compared to males. There was found to be limited social mobility due to the social background of academics. Work/life balance made a career in academia for women more difficult, with the prospect of starting a family.

Having said this, the general view is more positive. Many institutions are keen to highlight a variety of family services on offer, to attract candidates of the highest calibre. On-site day care for children is not uncommon. Equally, a variety of accommodation, including apartments and guesthouses can be offered on campus.

Career paths and the challenges around these positions are highly individual for each scientist and researcher and there is no one standard route for the academic.

Typically, as part of your post-doctoral studies in Austria, you will be offered four areas as part of your modules. There is a heavy emphasis on self-determination when it comes to study.

With our Job-Mail, you will receive suitable job ads as well as interesting content matching your search profile  on a weekly basis.

Candidates for postdoc fellowships are often highly qualified and have often recently completed a PhD or equivalent qualification.

Many postdocs are academic staff working at universities or at research institutions. Their salary falls within the job group of A2, according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement of sections 98 and 99 of the 2002 Universities Act.

The gross monthly pay of the A2 salary group is typically in the range of an entry-level post-doctoral graduate. Under law the salary amounts to a maximum of €3,772.60. The figure offered varies from institution to institution, but this is a typical offer.

For positions such as senior post-doctorate level, monthly gross salaries can expect to be even higher, and salaries of around €4,080 not uncommon. The maximum allowed under this seniority is €4,388.70 under article 27 of the 2002 Universities Act.

Permanent staff members of institutions in this band grade can expect that figure to increase over time.

Grants, whilst available, are very highly targeted and in different academic fields. Grants are primarily aimed at foreign students to aid and assist their stay in Austria. They are often targeted at people from specific countries and are financed either by the state, the institution, a foreign government, or a mixture of these income streams. A comprehensive guide for available grants can be found here .

A year of firsts for student scholarships and fellowships

At home and abroad, UND students celebrate another banner year for national awards

phd fellowship austria

Yee Han Chu , academic support and fellowship opportunities coordinator, said this was a year of many firsts for UND student scholarships and fellowships.

“I think it reflects a high level of enthusiasm among our students and the faculty and staff who support them to participate in these opportunities,” Chu said. “Sometimes I just have to take a step back and appreciate how much we have going on.”

Richard Hoberg, for example, is the first student during Chu’s tenure to receive a Fulbright research grant, and the first student ever to receive an outbound American-Scandinavian Fellowship award for his research in Norway. Chu also mentioned Melissa Gjellstad , who provided Hoberg assistance while applying for the grants, and said that UND faculty and staff are among the reasons this year has stood out.

“These achievements are a reflection of a deeper culture that is supported by faculty and staff,” Chu said. “I would say that for each one of these students, there is a faculty member or staff member who is kind of behind the curtain and who is assisting them.”

Other firsts include students participating in the 2024 Henry Clay Center’s College Student Congress, receiving a Meridian-Cox Foreign Service Fellowship and advancing to interviews for the BFF Riya Bhakkad Memorial Scholarship Fellowship.

With the help of UND faculty such as Gjellstad, Alena Kubatova , Amanda Nagy and Mark Jendrysik and staff members such as Study Abroad Advisor Allison Johansen, students are discovering ways to supplement their education with once-in-a-lifetime experiences, Chu said.

“I like to call these ‘enhancement opportunities’ — opportunities for students who want to enrich what they do in the classrooms in more depth, experience and rigor,” Chu said. “I think there’s a great appeal for these across disciplines, and I’m glad to see how many students are taking advantage of them.”

  • ‘Peace and Healing are Possible,’ Says Alum Awarded International Development Fellowship

McKeldin Library with blossoms

Graham Dilworth MPP ’23, a Career Resources Center fellow at the  Agahozo Shalom Youth Village (ASYV) in Rwanda, has spent the start of his career working in international development policy. At the ASYV, he works closely with youth from vulnerable backgrounds, guiding them in career development and furthering their education. His experience also includes aiding in refugee resettlement and teaching English to displaced Syrian and Yemeni teens.

Previously, Dilworth’s time at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research in Geneva, Switzerland focusing on capacity-building for government workers from low and middle-income nations helped to fuel his interest in post-conflict growth, transitional justice and peacebuilding. Building on his experience and inspired by Rwanda’s progress in healing weaponized hatred stemming from the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi, where children of genocide victims now forge friendships with children of perpetrators and killers, Dilworth prepares for an upcoming move to the Balkans.

Distinguishing himself among more than 3,000 applicants, Dilworth was awarded a prestigious  Catholic Relief Services International Development Fellowship , where he will continue his work in international development in Bosnia and Herzegovina countering ethnonationalism, recognizing the challenges but remaining optimistic about peace and healing.

“In Bosnia and Herzegovina and many other countries in the Balkans, the scars of the 1990s are much more apparent and healing has been less successful,” shared Dilworth, explaining that international borders and intricate diplomatic ties among nations have restricted inter-ethnic communication and perpetuated tensions. Despite these complexities, he remains optimistic. “This is a complicated environment where the lessons I bring from Rwanda may not always apply. Still, I come to the country with a clear lesson: peace and healing are possible.”

Dilworth recalled Professor Betty Duke , in one of her classes, proclaiming, “Nobody wakes up in the morning and wonders how they are going to successfully be a villain.” Highlighting the impact of Duke’s words, he emphasized the importance of taking strong moral stances against injustices and understanding the underlying motivations and beliefs of all parties in a conflict.

“As humans, we have the urge to view members of a conflict in a binary way, as good and bad,” said Dilworth. Reflecting on his experience working closely with the Center for International and Security Studies at Maryland (CISSM), he emphasized how classes taught by Professors Nancy Gallagher and Josh Shifrinson challenged such notions and helped students to understand the perspectives of those with whom they disagreed.

“The research paper on the future of U.N. peacekeeping that Graham wrote for my Cooperative Security, Arms Control, and Nonproliferation seminar exemplified his ability to take a complex problem about which most people are totally pessimistic, analyze it from the perspective of each major player and identify policy options that could be acceptable to all of them,” said CISSM Director Gallagher.

As Dilworth prepares for his CRS journey, he will bring with him the importance of understanding all sides in a conflict, an invaluable lesson learned through his international security policy studies at the School of Public Policy. Offering advice to aspiring changemakers, Dilworth noted, “Professional opportunities are incremental. It is incredibly important to stay motivated when the opportunities available to you are tangential to what you want. … Often, the opportunities that you least expect are the ones that open doors.”

Whiting , Dean and Josep Lluís Sert Professor of Architecture at Harvard GSD, “I could not be more excited to welcome the class of 2025 to campus next fall, and to see what they achieve during their year in residence with us.”

“The most valuable and provocative aspect of the Loeb Fellowship is who we identify and embrace as the very broad group of practitioners that shape our built and natural environment,” says Loeb Fellowship curator  John Peterson . “From writers to activists, and architects to physicians, the incoming class of 2025 is a wonderful expression of our value in diversity.” Peterson is an architect, activist, and a Loeb Fellow in the class of 2006.

The Loeb Fellowship continues its collaboration with the  ArtLab at Harvard University  to welcome Shana M. griffin as its 2025 Loeb/ArtLab Fellow. griffin will have access to studio space and will be able to engage with the ArtLab community and its intellectual resources and networks.

Bree Edwards, director of the ArtLab, a laboratory for research in the arts, says “I look forward to ways that the ArtLab’s creative community will engage with and learn from the cross-disciplinary practice of artist, activist, and scholar Shana M. griffin,” the fourth recipient of the Loeb/ArtLab Fellowship. Previous recipients are Jordan Weber ’22, Dario Calmese ’23, and Joseph Zeal Henry ’24.

After their year in residence at Harvard GSD, Loeb Fellows join a powerful worldwide network of over 450 lifelong Loeb Fellowship alumni including recognized leaders like Jordan Weber ’22, Rick Lowe ’02, Robin Chase ’05, Monica Rhodes ’22, Mary Means ’82, Eleni Myrivili ’20, Gisli Marteinn Baldursson ’15, Mark Lamster ’17, Janet Echelman ’08, and Andrew Freear ’18.

The Loeb Fellowship traces its roots to the late 1960s, when John L. Loeb directed a Harvard GSD campaign based on the theme of “Crisis.” Loeb saw the American city in disarray and believed Harvard could help. He imagined bringing promising innovators of the built and natural environment to Harvard GSD for a year, challenging them to do more and do better, convinced they would return to their work with new ideas and energy.

Six Students Awarded NSF Graduate Research Fellowships

The five-year fellowship is awarded to outstanding students pursuing a graduate degree in stem.

Northwestern Engineering PhD students Mandi Cai, Melissa Chen, Lawrence Chillrud, Fiona Neylon, and Essien Taylor, and undergraduate student Carolyn Zou in Northwestern’s School of Communication, have been awarded National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowships in recognition of their demonstrated potential for significant research achievements.

The highly selective Graduate Research Fellowship program awards a five-year fellowship to outstanding individuals pursuing a full-time, research-based graduate degree in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. The students will receive three years of financial support, including an annual stipend.

Mandi Cai

Prior to joining Northwestern, Cai was a data journalist at The Texas Tribune . Her award-winning work with editors Darla Cameron and Chris Essig inspired Cai’s curiosity about data visualizations in the media and shaped her current research focus.

“This fellowship provides me with the support to investigate all the big, pressing questions I had while working as a data journalist — ‘how is data journalism supporting the public’s ability to understand and interact with data, data visualizations, and statistical models in news coverage around high-profile topics like COVID-19 and elections? How do audiences understand and trust this coverage?’” Cai said.

Leading up to the November elections, she is investigating public perceptions around the use of data and statistical modeling in elections coverage, with a particular focus on the communication of live election results and winner projections. Cai and her collaborators — Kay and Erik Nisbet , Owen L. Coon Endowed Professor of Policy Analysis, and Communication — aim to determine participants’ baseline level of understanding, points of confusion, and degree of distrust toward winner projections in US elections. Using this data, the team will design and test alternative explanations of projections to improve user understanding and synthesize techniques for newsrooms to effectively communicate data-driven models.

“Ultimately, I wish to empower data journalists to be data educators who can consider the unique needs of their reader populations,” Cai said. “I also seek to empower readers to understand data they encounter in everyday life. More public data and statistical literacy supports individuals in evaluating and interrogating data as it is used to guide decisions or fuel algorithms.”

Melissa Chen

Melissa Chen

Chen studies students’ self-efficacy — or a person's belief in their ability to complete a task or achieve a goal — in introductory computing courses.

Building on research by O’Rourke and Jamie Gorson (PhD ’22), a graduate of the joint PhD program in Computer Science and Learning Sciences , Chen is examining students’ self-assessments during the process of learning programming and the tendency for novice programming students to be self-critical. Chen wants to understand how students with lower self-efficacy are influenced by personal experiences and interactions with the computing community and aims to design scalable systems that help students adjust their self-assessment criteria to be more aligned with what is expected of them as computing learners.

“Self-efficacy has an impact on students’ decisions to persist in computing,” Chen said. “By gaining a better understanding of how to improve and build self-efficacy, I hope to be able to equitably support students so that they feel confident learning and using their computing skills in their everyday lives.”

Supported by a 2023-24 Design Cluster research fellowship, Chen is also working on a related project with O’Rourke and Duri Long , assistant professor of communication studies in the School of Communication and (by courtesy) assistant professor of computer science at Northwestern Engineering. The team is designing a socially situated, small-group intervention to help students reframe their self-assessments and improve their self-efficacy. They plan to work with students to determine how to make the interventions scalable.

Lawrence Chillrud

Lawrence Chillrud

Chillrud is developing machine learning methods for applications in biomedical imaging. He aims to create robust uncertainty quantification techniques for medical imaging models and to design reliable algorithms that can assist doctors and patients in making informed decisions.

“Knowing when to trust these complex predictive models in high-stakes clinical settings is of critical importance,” Chillrud said. “If a model could reliably estimate its case-by-case uncertainty, clinicians could have a better understanding of how to integrate model predictions in data-driven decision-making, and patients could be better informed and in control of their disease and treatment plan.”

Chillrud is working on two research projects. In his radiological work, he is developing models that seek to predict the presence or absence of important brain tumor biomarkers in a patient’s MRI scan. In pathology, Chillrud is investigating computational techniques to help renal pathologists identify patients most at risk of kidney transplant failure.

Chillrud earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Columbia University in 2020. Prior to joining Northwestern, Chillrud was a senior programmer in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. His research into the development of interpretable machine learning methods for assessing complex mixtures of environmental exposures in epidemiological studies with mentor Marianthi-Anna Kioumourtzoglou ignited Chillrud’s passion for research and inspired him to pursue a PhD.

“I feel tremendously lucky to have been awarded the fellowship and believe that it speaks more to the exceptional support and mentorship I have received over the years from advisers, colleagues, teachers, friends, and family, than it does say anything about me personally,” Chillrud said. “I am also hugely grateful to the NSF for their support during this early and exciting stage of my career.

Katsaggelos is the Joseph Cummings Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and (by courtesy) professor of computer Science at Northwestern Engineering and professor of radiology at Northwestern’s Feinberg School of Medicine . Cooper is the director of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine’s Center for Computational Imaging and Signal Analytics in Medicine and associate professor of pathology and preventive medicine at Feinberg and (by courtesy) associate professor of electrical and computer engineering.

Fiona Neylon

Fiona Neylon

Neylon’s research interests lie in human-robot interaction in the medical, rehabilitation, and assistive spheres. Drawing from her own prolonged rehabilitation experience during high school after a near-total spinal fusion, she aims to develop tools that clinicians and patients can use to improve overall quality of life.

“Having normal function one day and limited the next made me understand the importance of independence and improving the quality of life for all,” Neylon said. “I’m thankful for being in the unique position of pairing that experience with my technical training to make me the researcher I am today — one motivated to improve the lives of individuals through robotic and assistive solutions.”

After joining Argall’s Assistive and Rehabilitation Robotics Laboratory (argallab) at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in 2022, Neylon began working with the argallab’s assistive robotic arm project team on developing a body-machine interface for customized control. The group is studying the learning effects of individuals with spinal cord injuries to control a seven-degree-of-freedom robotic arm via a shared control training paradigm.

“Receiving the fellowship is an incredible honor and is not only validation of the dedication I’ve put into my academic and research pursuits, but also a testament to the support of my mentors,” Neylon said.

Essien Taylor

Essien Taylor

Taylor investigates computer architecture and aims to reduce energy consumption in power-constrained embedded systems, including electronic medical implants and mobile phones.

“Understanding the energy consumption of microprocessors requires detailed models that take a large amount of time and labor to create,” Taylor said. “My current work will generate these complex models in a fraction of the time and effort, allowing us to rapidly explore countless research avenues.”

In 2023, the financial support of his GEM Fellowship afforded Taylor the opportunity to intern with Cadence Design Systems Inc., which aided his approach to electronics design.

Taylor is also a member of the Karsh STEM Scholars Program at Howard University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering. The program provides full scholarships for undergraduate students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines and support for underrepresented minorities completing graduate programs in STEM.

“My experience as a Karsh STEM Scholar at Howard University was crucial in developing my passion for research,” Taylor said.

Carolyn Zou

Carolyn Zou

Zou builds AI tools that support the design of resilient social systems. Leveraging generative language models, her goal is to create ‘agents’ that faithfully represent the people that populate complex social systems.

“Simulations with these agents can reflect the contingent dynamics of social influence and interaction, and prototyping with populated systems allows decision-makers to assess the anticipated effects of, and iterate on, prosocial interventions,” Zou said.

This fall, Zou will join the PhD program in computer science at Stanford University, supported by both the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and a Stanford Graduate Fellowship.

"I am immensely grateful for the NSF's support as I begin my graduate studies. This recognition is a testament to the incredible mentorship I've received at Northwestern and truly speaks to the opportunities afforded by the wide reach of human-computer interaction research across the University,” Zou said. “Northwestern's interdisciplinary environment allowed me to pursue HCI research from a starting point in the social sciences while developing the technical skills to prepare me for a PhD in computer science, and I look forward to bringing this unique perspective to my future work in human-AI interaction."
