How to Correct Name in 10th Marksheet

  • Visit your school and write a request letter to the school headmaster/principal
  • Collect the name correction reference letter issued by the school to the education board.
  • Download/get name correction applications from your respective educational board.
  • Fill out the application form.
  • Now submit the reference letter, filled application form, and other supporting documetnsl like copies of marks sheet, date of birth certificte, and Aadhar card copies.

After submitting all the required documents with a fee of 1000 Rs (fee varies for each board), your name will be corrected within 7-10 days, and you can collect a new mark sheet from the board.

Guidelines for Obtaining Various Certificates / Duplicates from CBSE

1. Applicants should use separate form for each certificate. If necessary typed/Photostat application form may be used. 2. Candidate applying for duplicate documents and Migration Certificate upto Examination of 2001 may send application along with fee to the Deputy Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Todarmal Marg, Ajmer, (Rajasthan). All payments be made in favour of Secretary, CBSE, payable at Ajmer and mode of payment shall be IPO / Bank Draft only. Those applying personally at Ajmer Office may deposit fee in cash also. 3. Triplicate copy or of further copies of qualifying certificates shall not be issued unless the Controller of Examinations is further satisfied by some documentary evidence that the duplicate copy has also been actually lost / destroyed. 4. In case the fee is remitted by crossed Postal Order / Bank Draft, it must be drawn in favour of the Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, payable at the concerned Regional Office. 5. Fees prescribed for various certificates are as follows (DOCUMENTS WILL BE RECEIVED AFTER 15 DAYS ( EXCLUDING HOLIDAYS)) : For fee details, please see revised fee notice given at the end of application form. 6 If certificate is required after two days (excluding holidays) an urgent fees of Rs.500.00 extra may be remitted. If the certificate is required by post an extra amount of Rs. 25.00 may also be remitted. (Rs. 35/- for outstation candidates) 7 In case the document is not collected by the applicant within three months from the date of depositing the fees, it will be cancelled and the candidate will have to apply afresh in case he needs the same. 8. The certificate will ordinarily be issued after two weeks (excluding holidays) from the date of receipt of the application from and the fee, provided the application form is found complete in all respects. 9. Migration certificate is issued only to those candidates who have passed an examination of the Board or to those who have been placed in compartment in order to enable them to seek admission for a further course of study. The failed candidates should not apply for migration certificate and Provisional Certificate. Please also mention previous year's Roll No. if passed in second chance compartment examination for Provisional Certificate. 10. All certificates for Delhi Region will be delivered on the production of receipt issued by the Board between 3 to 5 PM only (excluding holidays). The fee from candidates of Delhi Region for 2003 and onwards examinations can be deposited between 9.15 AM to 1.15 PM on every working day at Syndicate Bank, PS 1-2, Institutional Area, Patparganj, Delhi-110092. 11. The students of Chennai Region who have passed examination in 1991 or later should apply to Chennai Regional office only for obtaining duplicate documents.

Steps for Name Correction in Class 10 and 12 Marksheet

Students should follow the simple steps mentioned to get their name corrected in the CBSE marksheet.

1) Get the Application Form:

First of all, students need to take the application form. They can either download the form from the official website or from the link mentioned below and take its print. Also, they can collect the form from the admission department of their respective school.

2) Fill up the Application Form

Students have to fill up the application form correctly by giving all the details. To avoid any type of error, they must read the instructions carefully before filling up the details in the form.

3) Document Submission

Students need to submit some documents for the name correction process. These documents include:

  • School leaving certificate of the previous school which is submitted by the parents at the time of admission.
  • A portion of the page of admission and withdrawal register of the school where the entry has been made with respect to the candidate.

4) Fees Submission

Students have to pay the fees in order to get the corrections done. The fees vary depending upon the name that is being corrected, that is if it is the student’s or student’s parents. Given below is the breakup of the fees.

  • Fees for name correction in Marksheet/Certificate – Rs.1000 (Fees of marksheet/certificate included).
  • Fee for Change in Candidate’s Mother’s Name/Father’s Name/Guardian’s Name – Rs.1000 + Actual Cost of the Document

After completing all these processes, the board will make the necessary corrections once the verification of the original records of the school is done.

MP Board Result 2024 Highlights: The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has announced the results for Class 10th and 12th board at 4 pm on Wednesday, April 24.  Anushka Aggarwal topped Class 10 exams and Jayant Yadav topped Class 12.

How to check MP Board Result for Class 10th and 12th: Students of Class 10th and 12th can visit the official website (https //mpresults.nic) and login using their roll number. They can download the provisional marksheets online. Students who appeared in the MP Board Class 10, 12 Result 2024 can check their results on the MPBSE official website: mpresults.nic.in. MP Board 10th Result 2024: 58.10% students pass Class 10th this year, 5% less than last year

As many as 58.10% students passed Class 10th MP Board exams this year. In 2023, the pass percentage was at 63.29%.

MP Board 12th Result 2024:  64.49% students pass, around 10% more from last year

As many as 4,02,489 students out of the 6,23,341 regular applicants that took the MP Board 12th exam were deemed as passed. A total of 64.49 percent of the students passed the Class 12 exam. Jayant Yadav of Shajapur topped Class 12th exam with 487 marks in the MP Board class 12 examination. Kuldeep Mewada secured second place with 486 marks.

If any student wants to opt for a re-evaluation, they need to apply for it on the official website by entering the required details. It is estimated that the application process for re-evaluation will commence from the second week of July, after the announcement of the MPBSE 12th result, Shiksha.com reported. Students are advised to track the official website to stay updated with the latest information regarding the same. 

The MP Board 10th Result 2024 for the revaluation process is generally declared in August. Students applying for rechecking of answer sheets need to pay INR 100 per subject. After revaluation, the board will issue the updated class 12 mark sheet to the students.

2. You will be redirected to a new window 

3. Enter your mobile number in the input field
