Growing up is hard, but if you still remember your teacher's values, you can easily face real problems. It taught me not to run away from problems but to face them with courage.

I am and will always be grateful to the teachers who have significantly influenced my life. I was never a good student, but my teachers always supported me, guided me on the right path, and encouraged me to do better than before. I thank all the teachers who have shaped me into who I am today.

Today I'm here and would like to welcome all of you on the day of our farewell. Now, this is a very emotional moment for all of us. On the one hand, we are being promoted to a new life. On the other hand, we also leave our favourite place: school, where we spent the most crucial period of our lives growing up.

Last Day Of School

On this day, I want to thank all the teachers for guiding us for 14 years of school life and preparing us for the world. Our teachers symbolise strength and excellent support to all of us. You were strict like a father, loving like a mother, caring like a friend, and stern disciplinarian, yet always very approachable. Our teachers are wonderful people because they accepted all of our weaknesses and worked with us to overcome those weaknesses.

I remember when I was enrolled in this school, I was quiet and shy and was not good at public speaking, but today I am standing here and giving a farewell speech because of the wonderful and loving teachers I met at this school. You have worked hard on me to change my character and attitude. They worked with me further to prepare me for the outside world. Teachers are mentors and role models for their students and special thanks to the principal who has so much faith in me and allowed me to enrol in this school. For me, this school is like home because I spent most of my school days here.

Students believe their teachers and every word they say. Today we can make ourselves so competent because of your love, care, guidance and support. All of our teachers have been our source of inspiration. Being a teacher is a big job. Not only is it confined to a few classroom lessons, but it's also much more than those lessons, from preparing exam questions to preparing teaching materials and special sessions for these students. Whatever a teacher does, all these efforts are respected and commendable.

My parents always say school is the golden time of life for everyone. I now find myself standing among my beloved teachers and fellow friends, saying goodbye to this life, and entering a new world.

Thanking My Teachers

I want to thank Mrs Smith and Achinth Sir for giving a particular time to this event and always being my guide, showing me the right direction and path. It was more difficult for me than for other students to complete the projects and tasks you gave us. They both took extra time and extra care to prepare me for the "real world."I remember the day I gave up and lost all hope in Class XI. But I remember, You encouraged me in your unique way, sharing examples of great people who failed first and became famous later. It taught me to pursue my dreams without doing anything. This is one of the few lessons I learned from you guys. We have always been very grateful to all of you, and all my friends would like to express their gratitude to our excellent teacher.

They are tough in the form of fathers and loving in the form of mothers, caring for us as if we were friends, strict disciplinarians but always looking out for us. Our teachers are great individuals who have shaped us after our parents and made us wise to deal with the world. We've accepted everything and worked hard to overcome our flaws as a team.

I recall being a timid and introverted student when I first enrolled in this class. I've struggled with public speaking, and today I'm giving a gratitude speech for teachers who helped me overcome my shyness. This is due to the effort and care they showered on me. They didn't leave any stone unturned in their efforts to alter my personality and attitude.

I don't think I need to say that they've done a pretty good job of preparing me for the outside world. The teacher resembles a mentor and serves as an excellent role model for students. Every word spoken by the teacher is embraced by the students. Teachers are excellent and selfless people who accept each student without prejudice.

In comparison to other students, I found it more difficult to complete my projects and assignments. You took extra time to prepare me for the real world' and paid close attention to me. I recall a time in class 11 when I had given up all hope. You all encouraged me in your own unique way and shared stories of great people who rose to fame after adversity.

You instilled in me the importance of working hard and not compromising on small matters. All of these things I've learned from you. I am confident that all of my friends would like to express their gratitude to our dear teachers, as we are always grateful to all of you.

On behalf of myself and my classmates, I would like to express my gratitude to all of the Teachers who helped us in our journey.

Too often, we rush through the ‘ropes of life,' oblivious to the importance of taking the time to express our gratitude and genuine appreciation for the support you so generously provide for our development as not only students but also as global citizens.

I would like to utilize this moment to thank all our teachers who prepared us for the world outside. Our teachers have been an epitome of strength and a great pillar of support to all of us. They have been as strict as father and as loving as mother, equally caring like a friend, a strict disciplinarian and yet always so approachable. Our teachers are wonderful human beings because they have accepted all of us with all the weaknesses and have worked upon us to overcome those weaknesses.

I still remember, I joined this school in Standard V, when I used to be the shy and introvert person. I faced difficulties in speaking in public and today, I am standing here to deliver the farewell speech . This is all because of the great and loving teachers I came across in this school. They never left any stone unturned to change my personality and attitude. Needless to say, they have worked on me even more to prepare me for the outside world. A teacher is essentially a mentor and a role model for the student. The student believes in the teachers and every word they say. They are noble and selfless people coz they accept each of their student wholeheartedly without any bias and favouritism.

My parents always say, that school period is the golden period in everyone’s life and I realize it now when I stand amidst all my favourite teachers and fellow friends to bid goodbye for a newer world.

I would especially take out some moment from this event to thank Ma’m X and Sir A for being my guide always and showing me the right direction and path to walk on. It was more difficult for me than the other students to accomplish the projects and tasks you assigned to us. You both have spent extra hours and shown special care to me in order to prepare me for the ‘real world’. I still remember the day in Class XI, when I had given up and lost all hopes; both of you encouraged me in your own special way and shared examples of great people who failed in the beginning and later became famous people.

You taught us to be persistent and chase the dream without compromising on small issues; that was one of several lessons I have learnt from all of you. I am sure, all my friends would like to share the word of gratitude with our loving teachers, as we have always been very grateful to all of you.

I thank all the teachers, Principal and all other staff on behalf of the fellow students and myself.

Today is a very emotional moment for us as it’s the last day of our school and after this event most of us will choose different paths in life. A special thank to the Principal Sir, who trusted me and allowed me to take admission in this school even though I was late by almost 2 months due to some family mishap. This school for me is like my first home as I have spent most of the hours of my day here.

I can’t thank enough Miss A for taking care of me like a mother does to her child. There have been times when I’ve lost the hopes and she has scolded me like a mother, supported me like a friend and guided me like a mentor. Ma’am, you have not only built up my confidence, but have also taught me to be strong. You have prepared me for all the future battles and struggles. My life with you and under you has taken the best shape it ever could and I am going to miss you forever.

I would also like to thank our PT Sir, who has been very particular about the physical fitness and would not let us miss the class. Sir, though you have taught us the benefit of healthy living and physical fitness, but the best lesson I’ve learnt from you is about the time management.

While I’ve got the occasion to thank all my teachers, I can’t miss this moment to thank Miss B, our Arts teacher. For a bland person like me, she introduced ‘arts’ as sunshine. I could literally never even hold a colour pencil right, while she pushed me to win the drawing competition in standard VIII. Truly thanks, Ma’am.

This entire school is a treasure of knowledge for me and I’ve cherished each and every moment I’ve spent here. Though I am going to be physically away, I will always carry in my heart, the love, care, attention, blessing and teachings I’ve got from here.

They help us in building our friendship skills, our communication skills, our writing skills, our overall gesture and presentation skills, etc. Thanks to all the teachers for making us learn the tactics of overall existence.

Patience – The most essential quality of a father is that he remains calm all the time and never loses control of how upset he is. In every situation, my Father walks in peace and maintains patience in my serious matters.

Discipline – Dad always teaches me to be in discipline, and he is also in discipline himself. From morning to night, their entire routine is in discipline. He gets up in the morning to go to the office to do the daily chores and return on time after completing his work. And even then, he does not rest, but he also takes me to rotate in the evening every day. Ask me, how was the day, any problem?

Come back home and help me study all the school subjects. I still remember the things heard in my childhood that – Mother is a bank where you can store all your feelings and sorrows. And the Father is a credit card with no money. Still, they try to fulfill their children’s dreams.

A father does not even care about his happiness to give happiness to his children. Those who give love to their mother, sometimes they become mistakes as teachers, and sometimes they become friends and say, ‘Nothing happened, I am with you.’

That is why I have no hesitation in saying that Father is the armor under whose protection we try to give meaningful direction to our life. Many times we do not even realize where and how our Father has arranged for our happiness.

My Father makes available everything at the right place and at the right time, he every time saying appreciative words to me and feel proud of me. And he does all these, despite managing your work life.

I feel wonder, is my Father is a superman? I believe that this is not at all possible for a common person like me. Today, I am addressing here amidst all my friends and well-wisher to celebrate my success.

But this is all because of my Father, who prepared me for this success. They have loved and cared for me; he trusted me when I feel lose hope. He stayed awake during my every exam time days and always stayed care me when I fell sick,

I know its not enough to say thanks to my Father for everything you have done for me. Without my Father can not I stand here; I think the coming two years will be difficult for me, because I may not get the warmth of my Father’s hug, but I’ll stay connected with his love.

Graduation is an important event, and often, people like to use the occasion to thank everyone that supported them through school or a program. However, writing a good graduation speech can be challenging. Things You Should Know

Start with a 2-5 sentence introduction that engages your audience. Try using a rhetorical question, quote, or short anecdote.
Thank your friends, family, and teachers in depth in the body of your speech. This should be about 2-3 paragraphs.
Conclude your speech with 1-2 sentences that summarize everything you've said so far.

Brainstorming Your Ideas

Step 1 Make a list of everyone you want to thank.

Writing the Thank You Speech

Step 1 Write the introduction of the speech.

“What are you thankful for?” This is beginning with a rhetorical question, since the audience will not answer.
As Willie Nelson once said, "When I started counting my blessings, my whole life turned around." This is beginning with a quote.
“It was the first day of high school, and I stood outside the door of my first class, scared to go in. On the last day of high school, I left that same door feeling thankful.” This is beginning with an anecdote.

For example, you can say, “I would like to thank my friends and family for always inspiring me when I felt hopeless.”
Another example is, “I want to thank Professor Z for helping me choose a major.”
The body of the speech comes immediately after the introduction.
Avoid insulting or offending those you are speaking to. Do not vent about problems or criticize others during this speech.

Step 3 Write the conclusion of the speech.

Another simple example is, “Once again, I am so lucky to have such great friends and family. Thank you.”
You can end on thanking someone by saying, “The last person I want to thank is my grandma. She was always there for me. Good night.”
