PRC Room Assignments for November 2022 Civil Engineer CE Licensure Examination

Manila, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced the room assignments for the November 19-20, 2022 Civil Engineer Licensure Examination for testing locations in Manila/National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

PRC administered the licensure exams for Civil Engineer and the Board of Civil Engineering headed by its Chairman, Engr. Praxedes P. Bernardo and its members, Engr. Pericles P. Dakay and Engr. Romeo A. Estañero.

Civil Engineer Licensure Exam Coverage

Examination attire.

Male examinees are required to wear a Tucked-in white polo shirt with a collar (without any seal, logo, or mark) and decent pants or slacks.

For female examinees, Tucked-in white blouse or shirt with a collar (without any seal, logo, or mark), a decent skirt or slacks, and pony-tailed long hair.

What to bring?

Don’t forget the following on examination day:

• Notice of Admission (NOA)
• Official Receipt
• Two (2) or more pencils (No. 1 or No. 2)
• Ball pens with BLACK ink only
• One (1) piece long brown envelope
• One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
• Health forms
• Negative RT-PCR Test Results, if applicable, or Certificate of Quarantine

Examinees are not allowed to bring books, notes, or similar items to the examination room. Electronic gadgets such as Apple and Samsung products are not allowed either. Bags of any kind are also not allowed inside the examination premises.

Precautionary Measures

The following precautionary measures shall be observed during the conduct of the November 2022 Civil Engineer Licensure Exam:

• Wearing of face mask and face shield
• Sanitizing using alcohol and hand-based sanitizers whenever necessary
• Physical Distancing of one (1) meter at all times
• Those with fever and cold are not allowed to take the exam
• Observe proper hygiene at all times

The exams will be conducted in different parts of the Philippines, including NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. The exam will take place on November 19 and 20, 2022.

• Official Receipt of payment of application for examination
• Notice of admission
• One (1) piece metered-stamped window mailing envelope
• Two (2) or more pencils (No. 2)
• Ballpens with black ink only
• One (1) piece long brown envelope
• One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
• Health Forms (Pursuant to Joint Administrative Order No. 01 (s 2021))
• Negative RT-PCR Test Results,  if applicable, or Certificate of Quarantine or Certificate or copy of Vaccination Card for fully vaccinated examinees to the proctor on the examination day.
• Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded data/information/formula 
• PROGRAMMABLE CALCULATORS, especially CASIO FX991ES and CASIO FX-991ES plus
• CELLULAR PHONES, EARPLUGS, TRANSMITTERS, PORTABLE COMPUTERS, SMART WATCHES, BLUETOOTH and other electronic gadgets/devices which may be used for communication purposes.
• Any type of bag
• Other examination aides not stated
• For male examinees, a tucked-in white polo shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark) paired with decent pants or slacks.
• For female examinees, a tucked-in white blouse or shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark) paired with decent pants or slacks.

During the PRC licensure exams, the following precautionary health and safety rules must be followed at all times:

• Observe physical distancing of at least two (2) meters between examinees.
• Examinees shall be restricted to their assigned seat;
• Wear face mask (at least 3-ply surgical mask, preferably N95 mask) and face shield at all times; 
• Bring 70% ethyl alcohol for hand disinfection;
• Avoid close contacts like “beso-beso”, hugging, handshake, and directly touching other persons;
• Avoid touching one’s eyes, nose, and mouth;
• When sneezing and/or coughing, facial tissues must be used to wipe the nose and mouth areas. Dispose of used facial tissues properly; and
• Avoid spitting in public, on floors, and along corridors.

ROOM ASSIGNMENTS: November 2023 Civil Engineer Licensure Exam (CELE)

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the room assignments for the November 2023 Civil Engineer Licensure Exam (CELE)  a few days before the examination.

This year’s second Civil Engineer Licensure Exam (CELE) will be conducted on November 17 & 18, 2023.

Room Assignments

Below are room assignments for the November 2023 Civil Engineer Licensure Exam (CELE) :

• Manila – Added to the list
• Manila – PWD
• Cagayan De oro
• Lucena – Added to the list
• Oriental Mindoro
• Oriental Mindoro – Added to the list
• Pampanga – PWD
• Rosales, Pangasinan
• Tuguegarao – Added to the list

Examinees shall report before 6:30 in the morning on the said date because latecomers will not be admitted.

Things to Bring Examination day

Here are the things to bring during the examination proper:

• Notice of Admission
• Official Receipt

Dress Code on Examination Day

Here are the specified dress codes from PRC:

• For male examinees, tucked-in white polo shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark); decent pants or slacks
• For female examinees, tucked-in white blouse or shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark); decent pants or slacks

Prohibited Items Inside the Exam Rooms:

• Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded information or formulas
• Calculators which are programmable or with embedded functions, especially CASIO FX991ES and CASIO FX-991ES plus
• Apple, Samsung and other smart watches, cellular phones, ear plugs, transmitters, portable computers, Bluetooth and other electronic devices which may be used for communication purposes;
• Bags of any kind (place your documents inside the transparent/plastic envelope)
• Other examination aides not stated in this program

All personal belongings of the examinees shall be surrendered to the proctor and shall be placed in a secured space within the examination room.

The rules on the conduct of bodily search, an inspection of personal belongings of the examinees, and the seizure/confiscation of prohibited items during the licensure exam (Annex A of PRC Memorandum Order No. 57, s. 2020) shall be strictly observed.

Exam Coverage

The November 2023 Civil Engineer Licensure Exam (CELE)  will cover the following topics:

• Mathematics, Surveying and Transportation Engineering (algebra, plane and spherical trigonometry, analytics, descriptive and solid geometry, differential and integral calculus, highway and railroad surveying, plane topographic and hydrographic surveying, advanced surveying, design and construction of highways and railroads, piers, ports and wharves)
• Hydraulics and Geotechnical Engineering (fluid properties, hydrostatic pressures, fluid flow, buoyancy and flotation, relative equilibrium of liquids, hydrodynamics, water supply soil properties, soil classification, fluid through soil mass, stresses in soil mass, soil strength and tests, bearing capacity, compaction, consolidation and settlement, lateral earth pressures and slope stability)
• Structural Engineering and Construction (engineering mechanics, strength of materials, theory of structures, analysis and design of concrete, steel, timber structures and foundation with the application of the governing codes of practice)
• Program for November 2023 Civil Engineer Licensure Exam (CELE)  from PRC.

Well, this is an evidence that sometimes we need to let go of someone not because we dont love them anymore, but because we needed to set aside our feelings for them to spread their wings and reach their dreams. At the end of the day, we can still love and support them from afar. Yun naman ang nagmamatter di ba, malaman nilang we may not be physically beside them while reaching their dreams, pero we are constantly being there for them kahit di nila nakikita.. If in case you will be able to read this. I wanted to share that he passed and he did came back. However, the painful part is he's not the same anymore 😢r. as you said, sometimes we really have to let go of someone for them to spread their wings and reach their dream. How close did German troops come to Moscow during World War II?

German units just ahead of Moscow.

In the Fall and Winter of 1941, Soviet troops stopped the Wehrmacht on the outskirts of the Soviet capital at the cost of tremendous efforts and huge sacrifices. The Nazis managed to come closest to the city only from the north-western direction.

On November 30, units of the 2nd Panzer Division of Lieutenant General Rudolf Fayel occupied the village of Krasnaya Polyana (today – a microdistrict of the town of Lobnya, Moscow Region). The distance to the administrative border of Moscow from there in a straight line was about 17 kilometers and to the Kremlin – a little more than 30.

The settlement was located on a hill and the Germans planned to place long-range artillery there to bombard the center of the Soviet capital. They had no doubt that the Red Army was on the brink of disaster and were preparing for a decisive assault.

"We stand near Moscow as victors and before our mental gaze in a blood-red glow arise burning city blocks, countless domes of cathedrals and the walls of the Kremlin! I wish it would come true sooner!" This was what, according to the memoirs of Colonel Luitpold Steidle, many German soldiers thought in those days. 

However, such dreams were not destined to come true. On December 5, completely unexpected for the Nazis, Soviet troops launched a major counter-offensive and, three days later, liberated Krasnaya Polyana.

LIST, ROOM ASSIGNMENT: November 2019 Civil Engineer (CE) Board Exam

MANILA, Philippines – The room assignments for Civil Engineer (CE) board exams November 2019 are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Civil Engineering few days before the licensure exam. The Civil Engineer board exam is scheduled to take place on November 9 & 10, 2019 at PRC testing centers in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

Civil Engineering is one of the programs with huge number of examinees being administered by PRC. In the recent exam conducted on May 2019 , 3,372 out of 8,855 examinees passed.

EXAMINATION REMINDERS

As posted by PRC, examinees shall bring the following requirements on examination proper. The Notice of Admission (NOA), Official Receipt, Pencils No. 1 or 2/ Black ink ballpen, metered stamped mailing envelope, long brown and plastic/transparent envelopes.

PRC reminds examinees to report before 6:30 in the morning on the said date because late comers will not be admitted, examination fees for late examinees will also be forfeited.

Examinees are advised to verify their application number on the day of examination from room watchers/proctors assigned to the room.

ROOM ASSIGNMENTS Below are the program and list of room assignments for the testing locations mentioned in the November 2019 Civil Engineering board exams, courtesy of  PRC :

• Cagayan de Oro

Examinees shall adhere to the attire set by the Professional Regulation Commission.

For male examinees, plain white polo shirt with collar without any seal, logo or marks partnered with decent pants or slacks. For female, plain white blouse or shirt with collar without any seal, logo or marks partnered with decent skirt or slacks.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

PRC recently announced that the CASIO FX-991ES and CASIO FX-991ES models of calculator per Memorandum Circular no. 2018-01 are NOT  allowed to be used anymore.

Also take note of the prohibitions during the exams. These include bringing of books, notes, review materials and other printed materials containing coded information; gadgets which include cellular phones, smartwatch, ear plugs and related electronic devices; any kind of bag. Likewise, PRC will not be responsible for any prohibited items which will be lost during the exams.
