My exploration kicked off on Goodreads, immersing myself in the modern literary landscape and examining reviews and ratings associated with 21st-century authors. I then turned to bestseller lists and notable literary awards of the century to identify writers whose works have garnered widespread acclaim. Recognizing the diverse tapestry of literature today, I reached out to literary scholars, members of contemporary book clubs, and critics to gain a broader perspective on authors who have consistently pushed boundaries, introduced fresh voices, or reshaped narratives in innovative ways.

I was particularly keen on spotlighting authors who, beyond individual successful titles, demonstrated a sustained impact on modern literature. While the depth, originality, and significance of their works were at the core of my selection, I also referenced sales figures to gauge their reach and resonance with readers globally. By weaving all these threads together, I’ve curated a list that reflects the literary luminaries of the 21st century.

Pendidikan Abad 21: Adaptasi 21st Century Skill dalam Pembelajaran Era Revolusi Industri dan Society 5.0 di Tengah Pandemi Covid-19

Partnership for 21st Century Skills: Framework for 21st Century Learning (Wijaya, 2016)

Dalam bidang Pendidikan terdapat adanya tantangan era revolusi society 5.0 yakni kurikulum pendidikan yaitu (1) pendidikan karakter, (2) kemampuan berpikir, (3) kemampuan mengaplikasikan teknologi (Sukarno, 2020).

Syahputra (2018) menyebutkan bahwa dalam pembelajaran abad 21, terdapat empat prinsip, yaitu: (1)  Instruction should be student-centered, (2)  Education should be collaborative, (3) Learning should have context,(4) Schools should be integrated with society.

Kerangka Belajar Abad ke-21

Doing Race: 21 Essays for the 21st Century

contoh essay 21st century

A collection of new essays by an interdisciplinary team of authors that gives a comprehensive introduction to race and ethnicity. Doing Race focuses on race and ethnicity in everyday life: what they are, how they work, and why they matter. Going to school and work, renting an apartment or buying a house, watching television, voting, listening to music, reading books and newspapers, attending religious services, and going to the doctor are all everyday activities that are influenced by assumptions about who counts, whom to trust, whom to care about, whom to include, and why. Race and ethnicity are powerful precisely because they organize modern society and play a large role in fueling violence around the globe. Doing Race is targeted to undergraduates; it begins with an introductory essay and includes original essays by well-known scholars. Drawing on the latest science and scholarship, the collected essays emphasize that race and ethnicity are not things that people or groups have or are , but rather sets of actions that people do . Doing Race provides compelling evidence that we are not yet in a “post-race” world and that race and ethnicity matter for everyone. Since race and ethnicity are the products of human actions, we can do them differently. Like studying the human genome or the laws of economics, understanding race and ethnicity is a necessary part of a twenty first century education.
