SPPU PhD entrance test to be held on November 6

The entrance examination for admission to the phd course will be conducted online on november 6 at the examination centres under savitribai phule pune university (sppu).

The entrance examination for admission to the PhD course will be conducted online on November 6 at the examination centres under Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). The last date to apply is September 30, an official notification from SPPU stated.

Candidates who have qualified for UGC NET (with GRF) will be exempted from the test. The entrance test will be for 3,187 seats under different streams.

The candidates who have scored more than 50% for the open category and 45% for the reserved category in the Master’s degree or equivalent degree with a grade B in the UGC -7 points are eligible for the exam, as per the guidelines released by SPPU.

The tentative date to display the result is November 10, 2022.

The exam will be held for 100 marks and will have 100 multiple choice questions with no negative mark system, 50 questions will be based on research methodology and 50 questions will be subject-specific.

Once the candidate is eligible, a personal Interview with the candidate will be held. Based on its eligibility, admission will be given to the candidate.

The application form is available on the official SPPU website www.unipune.ac.in. The fee for the entrance test for the open category is ₹ 1,000 and for the reserved category ₹ 750.

SPPU PhD Admission 2022:  The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) is currently accepting online applications for admission to its Ph.D. programmes offered by various departments such as the Department of Science and Technology, Department of Commerce & Management and Recognized Research Centres. Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree with at least 50% in a relevant discipline from a UGC-recognized institute or university. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for SPPU PhD Admission 2022 till 30 September 2022.

Candidates will be allotted admission to the Ph.D. programme through a two-stages admission process mentioned below:

• Entrance Exam: The entrance exam conducted by the SPPU shall be qualifying in nature. The Entrance Exam will consist of 100 multiple choice questions and 1 mark each. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.

How To Check SPPU Results Online?

SPPU Pune follows the semester system for all of its courses viz. Odd and Even semester. Exams for the odd semester are typically held in December or January, while exams for the even semester are usually held in May or June. The same results are typically posted on the official website within a month.

The university website provides access to SPPU Results. After a month of exams, the university announces its findings. Following the instructions below will allow candidates to view their SPPU semester results:

• Go to Pune University's (SPPU) official website.
• The "Students Corner" section will open when you click "Results.".
• Simply select "Online Result" on the following page.
• On the listing page, click the course-specific option, "Go to Result."
• Click "Show Result" after entering the mother's name and the seat number.

• Permanent Registration Number

• Subject Code, Subject Name, Total and Minimum Marks Assigned, and Total and Minimum Marks Achieved.

Grading System OF SPPU Results 2022

Pune University follows the CBCS (Credit Based Course Scheme) grading system. This means that students must finish a certain number of credits in the allotted amount of time in order to qualify for a degree. Each semester's total number of completed credits is fixed. This is been set by the department 

The final semester's cumulative marks and internal evaluation will be used to evaluate each student's performance. The end-of-semester exam will count for 50% of the final grade, and the internal assessment test for the remaining 50%. Students must receive a minimum of 40% on the midterm exam and 30% on the final exam at the end of the semester. A student cannot register for the following semester if they do not finish 50% of the total credits assigned for the semester within the next two semesters.

How To Apply For Pune University Revaluation

Within ten days of the results announcement, students who wish to request a revaluation of their answer sheet may do so by submitting their applications along with the necessary fees. The college or institution's principal or director must receive applications from candidates.

To submit an application for the revaluation/retotalling procedure, follow the steps below:

• The "Photo/ Scan Copy & Revaluation" link should be clicked. 
• Decide on the application's domain or program.
• If the students have not already created their own login ID and password, they can do so when the Students' Login Page appears after clicking. 
• Students can log in using the generated credentials now that they have created their login ID. 
• They will each need to complete the Photocopy (Scan Copy)/Revaluation form separately. Students must complete each section of the form separately if they wish to complete both.
• Students must choose the courses they want to apply for and submit their applications online. 
• The Application Fee Payment Page will be redirected as a result. 
• Both online and offline payment methods are available for application fees. 

Sppu Revaluation: Important Details

In either case, students who choose to request revaluation or rechecking must request a photocopy of their answer script. For Photo/Scan Copy, the application fee is 

• For non-professional courses, the cost per answer book is INR 100 (plus INR 20 for processing). 
• Professional courses cost INR 150 per answer book (plus INR 30 for processing).

In order to Revalue

• Non-Professional course: 150 INR (plus 20 INR for processing) per answer book.
• Each answer book for a professional course costs INR 200 plus INR 30 for processing.

Revaluation requests for the practical examination, term papers, internal assessments, theses, clinical exams, multiple-choice questions, online exams, and vivas won't be taken into consideration. If the application is not processed further for revaluation and the applicant requests a refund for the fee, the revaluation fee may be refunded. 

By following the instructions below, candidates can also view their online revaluation results:

• Step 1: Visit SPPU's official website for more information.
• Step 2: The "Students Corner" section will open when you click "Results.".
• Step 3: Click "Online Revaluation Result" on the following page to continue.
• Step 4: On the listing page, click the course-specific "View Result" link.
• Step 5: Click "Submit" after selecting Exam and conducting a search by Seat Number or PRN Number.

Note: A candidate will receive the benefit of the revaluation if the difference between their initial score and the one obtained after the revaluation is 10% or more.
