our country has increased the interest of organizations in the study of efficiency and job performance. However, it has also increased the resistance to evaluation by appraisees and even evaluators, who regard appraisals with suspicion and concern in these difficult economic times. This resistance is mainly the result of the fact that performance evaluation is usually associated with negative consequences for workers.
