प्रदूषण हमारे जीवन के उन प्रमुख विषयों में से एक है, जो इस समय हमारी पृथ्वी को व्यापक स्तर पर नकारात्मक रूप से प्रभावित कर रहा है। यह एक ऐसा मुद्दा है जो लंबे समय से चर्चा व चिंता का विषय रहा है तथा 21वीं सदी में इसका हानिकारक प्रभाव बड़े पैमाने पर महसूस किया जा रहा है। हालांकि विभिन्न देशों की सरकारों ने इसके प्रभाव को रोकने के लिए कई महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाए हैं, लेकिन अभी भी इस समस्या के समाधान हेतु एक लंबा रास्ता तय करना बाकी है।

वायु प्रदूषण : वायु प्रदूषण मुख्य रूप से वाहनों से गैस के उत्सर्जन के कारण होता है। बेहद ही हानिकारक गैस कारखानों तथा उद्योगों में उप-उत्पाद के रूप में उत्पादित होती हैं, प्लास्टिक और पत्तियों जैसे जहरीले पदार्थों को खुले में जलाने से, वाहनों के एग्जॉस्ट से, रेफ्रीजरशन उद्योग में उपयोग किए जाने वाले सीएफ़सी से वायु प्रदूषण में बढ़ोतरी होती है।

हाल के दशक में बेहतर आय की वजह से भारत में सड़कों पर वाहनों की संख्या में बेतहाशा बढ़ोतरी देखी गई है। ये सल्फर डाइऑक्साइड तथा कार्बन मोनोऑक्साइड जैसी हानिकारक गैसों को फैलाने के लिए भी जिम्मेदार हैं। ये गैसें पृथ्वी के वायुमंडल में ऑक्सीजन की मात्रा को कम करने के लिए जिम्मेदार हैं। इनकी वजह से सांस लेने की कई समस्याएं, श्वसन रोग, कई प्रकार के कैंसर आदि जैसी बीमारियाँ तेजी से पनप रही हैं।

जल प्रदूषण : जल प्रदूषण आजकल मनुष्यों के सामने मौजूद सबसे बड़ी समस्याओं में से एक है। सीवेज अपशिष्ट, उद्योगों या कारखानों आदि के कचरे को सीधे नहरों, नदियों और समुद्रों जैसे जल निकायों में डाला जा रहा है। इसके परिणामस्वरूप समुद्री जीव जंतुओं के आवास का नुकसान हो रहा है और जल निकायों में घुली ऑक्सीजन का स्तर भी घट रहा है। पीने योग्य पानी की कमी जल प्रदूषण का एक बड़ा दुष्प्रभाव है। लोग प्रदूषित पानी पीने को मजबूर हैं जिससे हैजा, डायरिया, पेचिश आदि रोग होने का खतरा रहता है।

मृदा प्रदूषण : भारतीय आबादी का एक बहुत बड़ा हिस्सा कृषि पर निर्भर है। इस काम के लिए, किसान बहुत सारे शाकनाशी, उर्वरक, कवकनाशी और अन्य समान प्रकार के रासायनिक यौगिकों का उपयोग करते हैं। इनके इस्तेमाल से मिट्टी दूषित होती है और इससे मिट्टी आगे फसल उगाने लायक नहीं रह जाती। इसके अलावा, अगर अधिकारी जमीन पर पड़े औद्योगिक या घरेलू कचरे को डंप नहीं करते हैं, तो यह भी मिट्टी के प्रदूषण में बड़ा योगदान देता है। इसकी वजह से मच्छरों के प्रजनन में वृद्धि होती है, जो डेंगू जैसी कई जानलेवा बीमारियों का कारण बनता है। ये सभी कारक मिट्टी को विषाक्त बनाने के लिए जिम्मेदार हैं।

ध्वनि प्रदूषण : वायु प्रदूषण में योगदान देने के अलावा, भारतीय सड़कों पर बड़ी संख्या में मौजूद वाहन, ध्वनि प्रदूषण में भी भरपूर योगदान देते हैं। यह उन लोगों के लिए खतरनाक है जो शहरी क्षेत्रों में या राजमार्गों के पास रहते हैं। यह लोगों में चिंता और तनाव जैसे संबंधित मुद्दों का कारण बनता है।

इसके अलावा, पटाखे, कारखानों के कामकाज, लाउडस्पीकर की आवाज (विशेष रूप से समारोहों के मौसम में) आदि भी ध्वनि प्रदूषण में अपनी भूमिका निभाते हैं। अगर इसे नियंत्रित नहीं किया गया, तो यह हमारे मस्तिष्क को भी प्रभावित कर सकता है।

अक्सर, दिवाली के त्योहार के अगले दिन मीडिया में यह बताया जाता है कि कैसे पटाखों की वजह से भारत के प्रमुख शहरों में ध्वनि प्रदूषण में वृद्धि होती है।

हालाँकि ये चार प्रमुख प्रकार के प्रदूषण हैं, जीवनशैली में बदलाव के कारण कई अन्य प्रकार के प्रदूषण भी देखे गए हैं जैसे कि रेडियोधर्मी प्रदूषण, प्रकाश प्रदूषण अन्य। यदि किसी स्थान पर अधिक या अवांछित मात्रा में मानवनिर्मित प्रकाश पैदा किया जाता है, तो यह प्रकाश प्रदूषण में योगदान देता है। आजकल, कई शहरी क्षेत्र अधिक मात्रा में अवांछित प्रकाश का सामना कर रहे हैं।

हम परमाणु युग में जी रहे हैं। चूंकि बहुत से देश अपने स्वयं के परमाणु उपकरण विकसित कर रहे हैं, इससे पृथ्वी के वातावरण में रेडियोधर्मी पदार्थों की उपस्थिति में वृद्धि हुई है। इसे रेडियोधर्मी प्रदूषण के रूप में जाना जाता है। रेडियोधर्मी पदार्थों का संचालन और खनन, परीक्षण, रेडियोधर्मी बिजली संयंत्रों में होने वाली छोटी दुर्घटनाएँ रेडियोधर्मी प्रदूषण में योगदान देने वाले अन्य प्रमुख कारण हैं।

Pollution sepsis is the presence of contaminants in the natural environment that causes harm and damage and therefore leads to adverse changes.

Kinds of Pollution

There are mainly three kinds of pollution - 1) Air Pollution, 2) Water Pollution, and 3) Soil Pollution. 

Air Pollution

Air Pollution occurs due to the presence of harmful gases and substances in the air. It is due to vehicle emission, dust and dirt, poisonous gasses from the factories etc. To reduce air pollution, we should use carpooling or public transport rather than using our private mode of transportation whose harmful gas emission only adds to the problem, we should also actively avoid burning trash or other materials etc.

Water Pollution

Water Pollution happens when toxic substances get mixed in various water bodies such as lakes, oceans, rivers etc. Here toxic substances refer to the Chemical fertilizer, Industrial waste, Sewage and wastewater, Mining activities, Marine dumping etc.

Soil Pollution

Soil pollution depicts the contamination of soil due to the presence of toxic substances due to Excessive use of fertilisers and pesticides, deforestation, industrial waste etc . To maintain the soil’s fertility, the government must limit the usage of fertilizers and plant more trees.

There are a few other pollutants causing pollution apart from the aforementioned ones, such as Radioactive pollution. This is one of the rarer types of pollution. The waste materials get dissolved in the water and harm the aquatic life along with those who drink the water. 

Reduce use of chemicals: you should avoid purchasing harmful chemical products that can get mixed with the water and pollute it. The biggest examples are pesticides and insecticides, which causes a major effect on marine life.

Reduce use of detergents: Detergents have many strong chemicals which can cause the leather to water and wash your clothes. If these detergents get mixed with water, they can pollute the soil.

Avoid disposing of harmful chemicals: The industries should avoid disposing of harmful chemicals in the soil. It can change the structure and components of the soil making it an unusable surface of land for vegetation. 

Eat food in biodegradable containers: As you dispose of the food containers in dustbins, it is good to use biodegradable food containers despite using plastic containers, which are harmful to the soil.

Plant more trees: The structure of the soil can be improved by planting more trees. Trees help to hold the soil together and improve the soil quality. Hence we should plant more trees.

We should be aware of all the possible preventive measures to help reduce every kind of pollution such as to curb air pollution, we should avoid bursting crackers during any festival or using public transport or carpool to reduce air pollution or cutting down the usage of loud loudspeaker, and public honking would help in noise pollution. प्रदूषण का के मुख्य कारण

जल प्रदूषण-

तेल रिफाइनरियों और परमाणु संयंत्रों से निकलने वाले जल व अपशिष्टों को नदियों और समुद्रों में फेंक दिया जाता है। लगभग सभी मिलों और कारखानों का अपशिष्ट और बचे हुए नदी को नदी में निकाला जाता है।

इसके अतिरिक्त घरों से निकलने वाले नाले भी इन जल स्रोतों में मिला दिया जाता है, जिससे जल प्रदूषित हो जाता है तथा उसमें रहने वाले जलीय जीव मर जाते है.

वायु प्रदुषण-

कल कारखानों, मीलों, वाहनों तथा हवाई जहाजो से निकलने वाला धुआं हमारे वायु मंडल को दूषित करता है. किसी बाहरी कारक के कारण वायु के भौतिक तत्वों में बदलाव आना ही वायु प्रदूषण कहलाता है. मुख्य रूप से धुआ सबसे अधिक वायु प्रदूषण को फैलाता है.

पुराने तथा डीजल से चलने वाले वाहन सबसे अधिक प्रदूषण फैलाते है। डॉ। विबासी ने लिखा है कि हर साल लगभग साठ टन कार्बन ऊपर जाता है और वातावरण में इकट्ठा होता है। वायु प्रदूषण फेफड़ों के कैंसर, अस्थमा जैसे रोग वायु प्रदूषण के फलस्वरूप फैलते है.

नाइट्रोजन ऑक्साइड फेफड़ों, दिल, त्वचा, और आंखों की बीमारियों का कारण बनता है। ओजोन छाती में दर्द , खांसी, और आंख की बीमारी का कारण बनती है।

ध्वनि प्रदूषण-

तेज गर्जन करने वाले वाहन, वातानुकूलित मशीनों और जनरेटर से निकलने वाली कर्णकटू ध्वनि ही ध्वनि प्रदूषण का कारण बनती है। डॉ। विबासी ने लिखा है कि 95 डेसिबल का शोर सिस्टोलिक ब्लड प्रेशर और डायस्टोलिक ब्लड प्रेशर को क्रमशः 7 मिलीलीटर, 3 मिलीलीटर तक बढ़ा सकता है।

भूमि प्रदूषण –

मूत्र और उत्सर्जन के निर्वहन के साथ-साथ यहां-वहां थूकने, कूड़े करकट को कचरापात्र  में डालने की बजाए सड़कों पर कचरा फेंकना, गंदगी और रेत से भरी हवा चलने, इधर उधर कचरा डालना ओवरलोडेड नगरपालिका गाड़ियां और ट्रक भूमि प्रदूषण में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं।

प्रदूषण की समस्या का समाधान-

हमारी जरूरतों के हिसाब से पानी का सावधानीपूर्वक उपयोग करना हमारा कर्तव्य है ताकि कम से कम जल प्रदूषित हो। प्रदूषित पानी को नदियों और समुद्रों में गिरने के बजाय, इसे आबादी वाले इलाके से दूर भूमि के बंजर भाग में प्रवाहित करना चाहिए।

अधिक प्रदूषण फैलाने वाले ईंधन के उपयोग को कम किया जाना चाहिए। समय समय पर अपनी गाडी के इंजन की मरम्मत करवानी चाहिए.

नई बिल्डिंग अथवा फैक्ट्री को आबादी से दूर तथा शौर को कम करने वाले संयंत्रो का उपयोग करना चाहिए. कचरा हमेशा कचरा पात्र में ही डाले. गंदे पानी को जल स्रोतों में कभी न डाले, यदि ऐसा कोई करता है तो इसकी शिकायत करे.

प्रदूषण हमारे जीवन के उन प्रमुख विषयों में से एक है, जो इस समय हमारी पृथ्वी को व्यापक स्तर पर नकारात्मक रूप से प्रभावित कर रहा है। यह एक ऐसा मुद्दा है जो लंबे समय से चर्चा व चिंता का विषय रहा है तथा 21वीं सदी में इसका हानिकारक प्रभाव बड़े पैमाने पर महसूस किया जा रहा है। हालांकि विभिन्न देशों की सरकारों ने इसके प्रभाव को रोकने के लिए कई महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाए हैं, लेकिन अभी भी इस समस्या के समाधान करने के लिए एक लंबा रास्ता तय करना बाकी है।

इससे कई प्राकृतिक प्रक्रियाओं में गड़बड़ी आती है। इतना ही नहीं, आज कई वनस्पतियां और जीव-जंतु या तो विलुप्त हो चुके हैं या विलुप्त होने की कगार पर हैं। प्रदूषण की मात्रा में तेजी से वृद्धि के कारण पशु तेजी से न सिर्फ अपना घर खो रहे हैं, बल्कि जीवित रहने लायक प्रकृति को भी खो रहे हैं। प्रदूषण ने दुनिया भर के कई प्रमुख शहरों को प्रभावित किया है। इन प्रदूषित शहरों में से अधिकांश भारत में ही स्थित हैं। दुनिया के कुछ सबसे प्रदूषित शहरों में दिल्ली, कानपुर, बामेंडा, मॉस्को, हेज़, चेरनोबिल, बीजिंग आदि शामिल हैं। हालांकि इन शहरों ने प्रदूषण पर अंकुश लगाने के लिए कई कदम उठाए हैं, मगर फिर भी उन्हें अभी एक लंबा रास्ता तय करना है। इन स्थानों की वायु गुणवत्ता खराब है और भूमि तथा जल प्रदूषण में भी बढ़ोतरी देखी जा रही है। अब समय आ गया है कि इन शहरों से प्रदूषण के स्तर को कम करने के लिए, यहाँ मौजूद प्रशासन एक ठोस रणनीति तैयार करके उसपर अमल करें।

प्रदूषण के कारण (Due to Pollution)

प्रदूषण होने के पीछे कई बड़े कारण हैं। ये वो कारण हैं जिसने प्रदूषण जैसी गंभीर समस्या को जन्म दिया है। प्रदूषण ने प्रकृति और मानव जीवन में ज़हर के समान दूषित और जहरीले तत्वों को घोलकर हमें मौत के नज़दीक लाकर खड़ा कर दिया है। प्रदूषण के बड़े कारणों में निम्नलिखित कारण शामिल हैं, जैसे-

ये सभी वो कारण हैं जिन्होंने प्रदूषण को बढ़ावा दिया है। इनके अलावा न जाने और कितने ही ऐसे छोटे-बड़े कारण हैं जिनका अंदाज़ा लगा पाना मुश्किल है। एक सबसे गंभीर कारण है और वो है देश की बढ़ती हुई जनसंख्या। ये वो कारण है जिसकी वजह से तेजी से पेड़ों की कटाई की जा रही है, औद्योगिकीकरण को और तेज़ किया जा रहा, मशीनों के प्रयोग में लगातार बढ़ोत्तरी की जा रही है, गांवों को धीरे-धीरे खत्म करके उन्हें शहर में बदला जा रहा है, लोग रोज़गार के लिए अपने गांवों को छोड़कर शहरों में जा रहे हैं, प्राकृतिक संसाधनों और खनिजों का उपयोग लोग असीमित मात्रा में कर रहे हैं जिस वजह से प्रदूषण का स्तर लगातर बढ़ता ही जा रहा है। पर्यावरण को शुद्ध करने के लिए पेड़-पौधे सबसे अहम भूमिका अदा करते हैं लेकिन हम मानव जाति के लोग अपनी ज़रूरतों के लालच में इन्हें बढ़ी ही बेरहमी से खत्म कर रहे हैं। 

प्रदूषण को रोकने में यूएनओ की भूमिका (UNO's role in Preventing Pollution)

संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने वायु प्रदूषण कम करने और सांस लेने के लिए स्वच्छ हवा की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित करने के इरादे से  साझेदार संगठनों के साथ मिलकर सरकारों से ‘क्लीन एयर इनिशिएटिव’ से जुड़ने का आह्वान किया है। सितंबर में यूएन जलवायु शिखर वार्ता से पहले सरकारों से वायु की गुणवत्ता को सुनिश्चित करने की अपील की गई है ताकि नागरिकों के स्वास्थ्य की रक्षा हो सके और 2030 तक जलवायु परिवर्तन और वायु प्रदूषण नीतियों में एकरूपता लाई जा सके। सरकार हर स्तर पर ‘Clean Air Initiative’ या ‘स्वच्छ वायु पहल’ में शामिल हो सकती है और कार्रवाई के लिए संकल्प ले सकती है। उदाहरण के तौर पर:

बसों में परियायंत्र फिल्ट्रेशन इकाइयों (Pariyayantra Filtration Units) की स्थापना: एक प्रायोगिक अध्ययन के हिस्से के रूप में 30 बसों की छतों पर परियायंत्र फिल्ट्रेशन इकाइयों को इनस्टॉल किया गया।

यातायात चौराहों पर ‘WAYU’ वायु शोधन इकाइयाँ: दिल्ली के प्रमुख यातायात चौराहों पर रणनीतिक रूप से कुल 54 ‘WAYU’ वायु शोधन इकाइयाँ स्थापित की गई हैं।

परिवेशी वायु प्रदूषण में कमी के लिये आयनीकरण तकनीक: इस तकनीक का उद्देश्य आयनीकरण प्रक्रियाओं के माध्यम से प्रदूषकों को निष्प्रभावी करना है जिससे लक्षित क्षेत्रों में वायु की गुणवत्ता में वृद्धि होती है।

वायु प्रदूषण:  वायु प्रदूषण मुख्य रूप से वाहनों से गैस के उत्सर्जन के कारण होता है। बेहद ही हानिकारक गैस कारखानों और उद्योगों में उप-उत्पाद के रूप में उत्पादित होती हैं, प्लास्टिक और पत्तियों जैसे जहरीले पदार्थों को खुले में जलाने से, वाहनों के एग्जॉस्ट से, रेफ्रीजरशन उद्योग में उपयोग किए जाने वाले सीएफ़सी से वायु प्रदूषण में बढ़ोतरी होती है।

हाल के दशक में बेहतर आय की वजह से भारत में सड़कों पर वाहनों की संख्या में बेतहाशा बढ़ोतरी देखी गई है। ये सल्फर डाइऑक्साइड तथा कार्बन मोनोऑक्साइड जैसी हानिकारक गैसों को फैलाने के लिए भी जिम्मेदार हैं। ये गैसें पृथ्वी के वायुमंडल में ऑक्सीजन की मात्रा को कम करने के लिए जिम्मेदार हैं। इनकी वजह से सांस लेने की कई समस्याएं, श्वसन रोग, कई प्रकार के कैंसर आदि जैसी बीमारियाँ तेजी से पनप रही हैं। ध्वनि प्रदूषण:  वायु प्रदूषण में योगदान देने के अलावा, भारतीय सड़कों पर बड़ी संख्या में मौजूद वाहन, ध्वनि प्रदूषण में भी भरपूर योगदान देते हैं। यह उन लोगों के लिए खतरनाक है जो शहरी क्षेत्रों में या राजमार्गों के पास रहते हैं। यह लोगों में चिंता और तनाव जैसे संबंधित मुद्दों का कारण बनता है। ध्वनि प्रदूषण दो प्रकार से होता है- प्राकृतिक स्रोतों से तथा मानवीय क्रियाओं से। 1. प्राकृति स्रोतों से - बादलों की बिजली की गर्जन से, अधिक तेज वर्षा, आँधी, ओला, वृष्टि आदि से शोर गुल अधिक होता है। 2. मानवीय क्रियाओं द्वारा - शहरी क्षेत्रों में स्वचालित वाहनों, कारखानों, मिलों, रेलगाड़ी, वायुयान, लाउडस्पीकार, रेडियों, दूरदर्शन, बैडबाजा, धार्मिक पर्व, विवाह उत्साह, चुनाव अभियान, आन्दोलन कूलर, कुकर आदि से ध्वनि प्रदूषण होता है।

जल प्रदूषण:  जल प्रदूषण आजकल मनुष्यों के सामने मौजूद सबसे बड़ी समस्याओं में से एक है। सीवेज अपशिष्ट, उद्योगों या कारखानों आदि के कचरे को सीधे नहरों, नदियों और समुद्रों जैसे जल निकायों में डाला जा रहा है। इसके परिणामस्वरूप समुद्री जीव जंतुओं के आवास का नुकसान हो रहा है और जल निकायों में घुली ऑक्सीजन का स्तर भी घट रहा है। पीने योग्य पानी की कमी जल प्रदूषण का एक बड़ा दुष्प्रभाव है। लोग प्रदूषित पानी पीने को मजबूर हैं जिससे हैजा, डायरिया, पेचिश आदि रोग होने का खतरा बना रहता है।

भूमि प्रदूषण:  भारतीय आबादी का एक बहुत बड़ा हिस्सा कृषि पर निर्भर है। इस काम के लिए, किसान बहुत सारे शाकनाशी, उर्वरक, कवकनाशी और अन्य समान प्रकार के रासायनिक यौगिकों का उपयोग करते हैं। इनके इस्तेमाल से मिट्टी दूषित होती है और इससे मिट्टी आगे फसल उगाने लायक नहीं रह जाती। इसके अलावा, अगर अधिकारी जमीन पर पड़े औद्योगिक या घरेलू कचरे को डंप नहीं करते हैं, तो यह भी मिट्टी के प्रदूषण में बड़ा योगदान देता है। इसकी वजह से मच्छरों के प्रजनन में वृद्धि होती है, जो डेंगू जैसी कई जानलेवा बीमारियों का कारण बनता है।  प्रकाश प्रदूषण:  बढ़ती बिजली की जरुरत और काम के लिए बढ़ती प्रकाश की जरुरत भी प्रकाश प्रदुषण कारण है। बढ़ती गाड़ियों के कारण हाई वोल्ट के बल्ब का इस्तेमाल, किसी कार्यक्रम में जरुरत से ज्यादा डेकोरेशन करना, एक कमरे में अधिक बल्ब को लगाना आदि भी प्रदूषण के कारण है। रेडियोएक्टिव प्रदूषण:  ठोस, तरल या गैसीय पदार्थ में जहाँ अनायास या अवांछनीय रेडियोधर्मी पदार्थ की उपस्थिति होती है, उसे रेडियोएक्टिव प्रदूषण कहते हैं। इसका प्रभाव पर्यावरण, जीव जन्तुओं और मनुष्यों पर बहुत बुरा प्रभाव पड़ता है। थर्मल प्रदूषण:  ओधोगिकी के कारण थर्मल प्रदूषण फैलता है। पेट्रोलियम रिफाइनरी, पेपर मील्स, शुगर मील्स, स्टील प्लांट्स जैसे ओधोगिकी पानी का इस्तेमाल करते हैं। या तो उस पानी को गर्म किया जाता है या उपकरणो को ठंडा करने केलिए इस्तेमाल किया जाता है। और फिर उस पानी को नदी में बहा दिया जाता है। इससे पानी की तापमान में वृद्धि होती है और पानी प्रदूषित होता है और इसमें थर्मल पावर प्लांट के कारण भी पानी प्रदूषित होता है। दृश्य प्रदूषण: दृश्य प्रदूषण मनुष्यों के देखने वाले क्षेत्रों में नकारात्मक बदलाव करने पर होते हैं। जैसे हरे भरे पेड़ पौधों को काट देना, मोबाइल आदि के टावर लगा देना। बिजली के खम्बे, सड़क आदि स्थानों में बिखरे कचरे आदि इस श्रेणी में आते हैं। यह एक तरह के बनावट के कारण भी होता है, जिसे बिना पर्यावरण आदि को देखे ही बना दिया जाता है। जैसे किसी स्थान पर केवल इमारत, मकान आदि का होना।

प्रदूषण पर निबंध (Pradushan Par Nibandh) - प्रदूषण पर प्रतिबंध लगाने के विभिन्न तरीके

• वाहनों का प्रयोग सीमित करें:  वाहन प्रदूषण का एक प्रमुख कारण है। वाहनों का प्रयोग कम से कम करें। यदि संभव हो, तो उन्हें व्यक्तिगत उपयोग के लिए इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों से बदलने का प्रयास करें। आने-जाने के लिए ज्यादा से ज्यादा सार्वजनिक परिवहन का प्रयोग करें।
• अपने आस-पास साफ-सफाई रखें:  एक जिम्मेदार नागरिक होने के नाते यह हमारा कर्तव्य होना चाहिए कि हम अपने घर के आस-पास के क्षेत्र को साफ-सुथरा रखें। हमें कचड़ा इधर-उधर फेंकने की बजाय कूड़ेदान में फेकना चाहिए।
• पेड़ लगाएं:  कई कारणों से पेड़ों की कटाई जैसे सड़कों का चौड़ीकरण, घर बनाना आदि के कारण विभिन्न प्रकार के प्रदूषण में वृद्धि हुई है। पौधे वातावरण में मौजूद कार्बन मोनोऑक्साइड, कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड आदि जैसे हानिकारक गैसों को अवशोषित करते हैं। चूंकि वे प्रकाश संश्लेषण की प्रक्रिया के दौरान ऑक्सीजन छोड़ते हैं, इसलिए हमारे लिए यह महत्वपूर्ण है कि हम अधिक से अधिक मात्रा में पेड़ लगाएं और उनकी देखभाल करें।
• पटाखों का इस्तेमाल बंद करें: जब आप दशहरा, दिवाली या किसी अन्य अवसर पर त्योहार मनाते हैं, तो पटाखों का इस्तेमाल ना करें। यह ध्वनि, मिट्टी के साथ-साथ प्रकाश प्रदूषण का कारण बनता है। साथ ही इसका हमारे स्वास्थ्य पर विपरीत प्रभाव पड़ता है।
• प्रदूषण को कम करने के लिए हमें अपने गांवों को बचाकर रखना होगा, वहाँ की हरियाली को खत्म होने से रोकना होगा और शुद्ध हवा और पानी को दूषित होने से बचाना होगा। इन छोटे-छोटे प्रयासों से ही हम प्रदूषण को खत्म करने के अपने सपने को पूरा कर सकेंगे।

हम सभी इस बात को लेकर चिंचित हैं कि हमारे देश में प्रदूषण एक गंभीर समस्या बन चुका है। प्रदूषण की समस्या बड़े शहरों में ज़्यादा बढ़ गई है। शहरों में निवास कर रहे लोगों पर प्रदूषण इस कदर हावी हो चुका है कि अब वह उनके स्वास्थ्य को भी खराब करने लगा है। इसीलिए शहरो में बढ़ते प्रदूषण को देखते हुए अब वहाँ के लोगों में प्रदूषण के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाना बेहद ज़रूरी हो गया है। प्रदूषण से न सिर्फ मनुष्यों को बल्कि सभी प्राकृतिक चीज़ें जैसे पेड़-पौधे, जानवर, हवा, पानी, मिट्टी, खाने-पीने की चीज़ें आदि सभी को हानि पहुँच रही है। जो प्राकृतिक घटनाएँ, आपदाएँ, महामारियाँ आदि समय-समय पर अपना प्रकोप दिखाती हैं, उसके लिए भी प्रदूषण को ही जिम्मेदार ठहरना गलत नही होगा।

शहरों में प्रदूषण

वाहन परिवहन के कारण शहरों में प्रदूषण की दर गांवों की तुलना में अधिक है। कारखानों और उद्योगों के धुएं शहरों में स्वच्छ हवा की गुणवत्ता को प्रभावित कर रहे हैं और इसे सांस लेने के लायक नहीं बनाते हैं। बड़ी सीवेज प्रणाली से गंदे पानी, घरों से निकलने वाला कचरा, कारखानों और उद्योगों के उत्पादों द्वारा नदियों, झीलों और समुद्रों में पानी को विषाक्त और अम्लीय बना दिया जाता है।

गांवों में प्रदूषण

हालाँकि शहरों की तुलना में गाँवों में प्रदूषण की दर कम है, लेकिन तेजी से हो रहे शहरीकरण के परिणामस्वरूप गाँवों का स्वच्छ वातावरण भी प्रदूषित हो रहा है। कीटनाशकों और उर्वरकों के परिवहन और उपयोग में वृद्धि ने गाँवों में हवा और मिट्टी की गुणवत्ता को अत्यधिक प्रभावित किया है। इसने भूजल के दूषित होने से विभिन्न बीमारियों को जन्म दिया है।

प्रदूषण की रोकथाम

शहरों और गांवों में प्रदूषण को केवल लोगों में सामाजिक जागरूकता बढ़ाने से रोका जा सकता है। प्रदूषण कम करने के लिए वाहन के उपयोग को कम करने, अधिक पेड़ लगाने, उर्वरकों और कीटनाशकों के उपयोग को सीमित करने, औद्योगिक कचरे का उचित निपटान आदि जैसी पहल की जा सकती हैं। सरकार को हमारे ग्रह को प्रदूषण के खतरों से बचाने के लिए प्लास्टिक और पॉलिथीन के उपयोग पर भी प्रतिबंध लगाना चाहिए।

• आजकल बढ़ती आधुनिकता के कारण प्रदूषण की मात्रा अत्यधिक बढ गई है।
• पेड़-पौधों के काटे जाने से या नष्ट कर देने से स्वच्छ वायु नहीं मिल पाती जिससे प्रदूषण का स्तर बढ़ जाता है।
• घर से निकलने वाले कूड़े कचरे को नदियों में बहा देने से भी जल प्रदूषण काफी ज्यादा बढ़ गया है।
• जगह-जगह कूड़ा कचरा फेंकने से प्रकृति दूषित होती जा रही है।

भारत में ही नहीं पूरी दुनिया में प्रदूषण एक बड़ा पर्यावरणीय मुद्दा है जिसके बारे में हर किसी को पता होना चाहिए। माता-पिता को प्रदुषण के प्रकार, कारण और रोकथाम के बारे में पता होना चाहिए ताकि वो अपने बच्चो को इसके बारे में बता सके।

प्रदूषण आज दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी समस्या बन चुकी है। प्रदूषण से तात्पर्य गंदगी से है और प्राकृतिक संतुलन में दोष पैदा होने से है। प्रदूषण की गिरफ्त में आज पूरा मानव समुदाय ही नहीं बल्कि सभी जीव-जन्तु और वनस्पति भी इसकी चपेट में हैं।

प्रदूषण का मतलब होता है, जब कुछ दूषित तत्व प्राकृतिक परिवेश में प्रवेश कर जाते हैं और पर्यावरण को प्रदूषित कर देते हैं, जिससे प्राकृतिक संतुलन पूरी तरह बिगड़ जाता है और जिससे न हमें शुद्ध वायु मिलती है, न शुद्द जल मिलता है और न ही शांत वातावरण मिलता है।

जिससे कई तरह की गंभीर समस्याएं पैदा हो जाती हैं। प्रदूषण न सिर्फ हमारी सामान्य जीवन शैली को प्रभावित करता है, बल्कि कई तरह की गंभीर बीमारियों और ग्लोबल वार्मिंग को जन्म भी देता है।

इसमें किसी तरह का कोई शक नहीं है कि आज के मॉडर्न और आधुनिक युग में मनुष्य अपनी सुख-सुविधा के लिए ऐसे उपकरणों का इस्तेमाल कर रहा है, जिससे प्राकृतिक संतुलन बिगड़ रहा है और इसी वजह से प्रदूषण अपनी चरम सीमा पर पहुंच गया है।

विज्ञान और टेक्नोलॉजी के विकास से जहां मानव क्षमता में भारी वृद्धि हुई हैं तो वहीं लोग अपने द्धारा बनाई गई रचनाओं के गिरफ्त में आ गए हैं, अर्थात आज का इंसान आधुनिकरण और सुख-सुविधाओं का इतना आदि हो गया है कि वह इन संसाधनों के बिना अपने जीवन की कल्पना ही नहीं कर सकता है और मानव निर्मित उपकरण की वजह से ही प्राकृतिक संसाधनों का जमकर हनन हो रहा है और प्रदूषण की समस्या लगातार बढ़ रही है।

इसलिए प्रदूषण की समस्या पर लगाम लगाने की जरुरत है और ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोगों को इसकी तरफ ध्यान देने की जरूरत है।

स्वच्छ और शुद्ध वातावरण में रहने से न सिर्फ मानव का विकास होता है, बल्कि स्वस्थ समाज का भी निर्माण होता है। यहां शुद्ध वातावरण से तात्पर्य – प्रदूषण रहित वातावरण से है। वहीं जब तक सभी मिलकर वातावरण को स्वच्छ रखने में मद्द नहीं करेंगे तो हर तरफ गंदगी होगी और प्रदूषण फैलेगा।

प्रदूषण पर लगाम लगाने के लिए इससे पड़ने वाले नकारात्मक प्रभाव और इससे बचने के उपायों के बारे में जानना बेहद आवश्यक है, तभी लगातर बढ़ रहे प्रदूषण पर रोक लगाई जा सकेगी।

दरअसल, हम बिना सोचे-समझे अपनी सुख-सुविधाओं के लिए अपनी प्रकृति का हनन करते हैं, जिसकी वजह से कई तरह की गंभीर समस्याएं पैदा होती हैं। इसलिए प्रदूषण की गंभीर समस्या से निपटने के लिए हमें अपनी जानकारी को बढ़ाना चाहिए और अपनी सोच को व्यापक और विस्तृत करना चाहिए।

इसलिए अलग-अलग तरह के प्रदूषण, उनके कारणों  और मानव जीवन और वातावरण पर पड़ने वाले इसके प्रभाव के बारे जानना बेहद आवश्यक है।

इसी तरह से जब प्राकृतिक जल स्त्रोतों में कारखानों और घरों से निकलने वाला कचरा मिलता है तो जल प्रदूषण की समस्या पैदा होती है। वहीं मोटर वाहनों, डीजे, लाउडस्पीकर और पटाखों से इतना शोर होता है कि ध्वनि प्रदूषण की समस्या पैदा हो जाती है जिससे इंसान की सुनने की शक्ति कमजोर हो जाती है।

प्रदूषण की समस्या आज पूरी दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी समस्या के रुप में सामने आ रही है। आधुनिक युग में मनुष्य सुख-सुविधाओं का इतना आदि हो गया है कि इसके लिए प्रकृति के साथ छेड़ छाड़ कर रहा है, जिससे प्रदूषण की समस्या उपज रही है।

वहीं अब प्रदूषण का स्तर चरम सीमा पर पहुंच गया है, अगर अब वातावरण को स्वच्छ रखने में ध्यान नहीं दिया तो आगे चलकर पृथ्वी पर रह रहे मनुष्य और जीव-जंतु सभी का आस्तित्व खतरे में पड़ सकता है। प्रदूषण की समस्या के समाधान के लिए सबसे पहले यह जानना जरुरी है कि आखिर प्रदूषण किन कारणों की वजह से हो रहा है –

प्रदूषण फैलने के कई प्राकृतिक और मानवनिर्मित कारण हैं, दरअसल मानव अपने सुख-सुविधाओं के लिए पेड़-पौधों को लगातार काट रहे हैं, वनों की अंधाधुंध कटाई हो रही है, जिससे प्राकृतिक संतुलन बिगड़ रहा है और प्रदूषण जैसी गंभीर समस्या उपज रही है।

यही नहीं आजकल लोग वाहनों का अत्याधिक इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं जिससे वाहनों से निकलने वाला धुआं जहरीली गैस के रुप में हवा से मिल जाता है, जिससे वायु प्रदूषण की समस्या उत्पन्न हो जाती है।

इसके अलावा वाहनों से होने वाले शोर से मनुष्य की सुनने की क्षमता प्रभावित होती है।  वहीं शहरों में तेजी से हो रहे औद्योगिकरण से एक तरफ जहां देश के विकास को गति मिली है तो दूसरी तरफ इससे काफी नुकसान भी हो रहा है।

दरअसल औद्योगिक से निकलने वाला कचरा और दूषित अवयव प्राकृतिक जल स्त्रोतों में बहा दिए जाते हैं जिससे प्रदूषण की समस्या को बढ़ावा मिलता है। आधुनिक तकनीक कृषि में जहां सिंचाई में वृद्धि हुई है और उत्तम किस्म की फसल की पैदावार होने लगी है तो वहीं इसके लिए उपयोग किए जाने वाले रसायन और कीटनाशकों से जलस्त्रोतों में प्रदूषण की मात्रा काफी बढ़ जाती है, और इसी दूषित पानी के सेवन से लोग बीमारियों की चपेट में आ जाते हैं।

और तो और बढ़ रहे प्रदूषण की वजह से कई जीव-जंतु की प्रजातियां भी विलुप्त हो गईं हैं। पर्यावरण पर प्रदूषण का असर पड़ने से कई घातक बीमारियां जन्म ले रही हैं।

प्रदूषण के प्रमुख प्रकार – Types Of Pollution

पृथ्वी पर अलग-अलग तरह के प्रदूषण जन्म ले रहे हैं, जैसे कि वायु प्रदूषण , ध्वनि प्रदूषण और जल प्रदूषण , भूमि प्रदूषण, रेडियोधर्मी प्रदूषण। रासायनिक प्रदूषण आदि, कुछ प्रमुख प्रदूषणों के बारे में हम आपको नीचे बता रहे हैं, जो कि इस प्रकार हैं –

• वायु प्रदूषण – Air Pollution

आज पूरी दुनिया वायु प्रदूषण की गंभीर समस्या से जूझ रही है, क्योंकि इंसान को वायु प्रदूषण की वजह से शुद्ध हवा नसीब नहीं हो रही है, जिससे आज मनुष्य दमा, अस्थमा समेत तमाम श्वास संबंधी बीमारियों की चपेट में आ गया है। दरअसल, जब हमारे वायुमंडल में जैविक, रसायन, सूक्ष्म  और कई तरह के विषैले पदार्थ प्रवेश कर जाते हैं तो वह वायु प्रदूषण कहलाता है।

इन दूषित तत्वों के मिल जाने से वायु दूषित हो जाती है। आपको बता दें कि हमारे वायुमंडल में एक निश्चत मात्रा में और निश्चत अनुपात में गैंसे पाईं जाती हैं, लेकिन जब इस तरह के कुछ तत्व हमारे वायुमंडल में प्रवेश कर जाते हैं तो इन गैसों का संतुलन बिगड़ जाता है, जिससे वायु प्रदूषण की समस्या को बढ़ावा मिलता है।

तेजी से बढ़ रहा औद्योगिकरण, बढ़ती आबादी, वनों की अंधाधुंध कटाई और वाहनों का अत्याधिक इस्तेमाल करने से भी वायु प्रदूषण की  समस्या लगातार बढ़ती जा रही है।

• जल प्रदूषण – Water Pollution

जल प्रदूषण की वजह से न सिर्फ मानव जीवन बल्कि जीव-जंतु और वनस्पति भी प्रभावित हो रही है। जल प्रदूषण का मतलब है, जब जल के प्राकृतिक स्त्रोतों में तमाम तरह के दूषित पदार्थ शामिल हो जाते हैं तो जल प्रदूषण की स्थिति पैदा हो जाती है।

दरअसल, जब उद्योगों से निकलने वाला कचरा जल स्त्रोतों में फेंका जाता है तो इससे पूरा पानी जहरीला हो जाता है, यही नहीं घरो में इस्तेमाल किए गए पानी में जब अन्य रसायन पदार्थ मिलते हैं, तो यह पूरे पानी को जहरीला बना देते हैं।

और यही दूषित पानी का सेवन करने से मनुष्य कई गंभीर बीमारियों की चपेट में आ जाता है। वहीं जल प्रदूषण की समस्या दिन पर दिन बढ़ती जा रही है, जिसके समाधान के लिए गंभीर प्रयास करने की जरूरत है।

• ध्वनि प्रदूषण – Sound Pollution

उच्च ध्वनि से होने वाले प्रदूषण को ध्वनि प्रदूषण कहा जाता है। ध्वनि प्रदूषण वाहनों, मशीनरों , रेडियो ,लाउडस्पीकर, टेलीविजन समेत तमाम ऐसे उपकरणों से होता है, जिसकी वजह से इंसान की सुनने की क्षमता प्रभावित होती है।

कई बार तो इंसान ध्वनि प्रदूषण की वजह से बहरेपन, हार्ट अटैक और तनाव जैसे बीमारियों की चपेट में आ जाता है। इसके बारे में जागरूकता फैलाने की जरूरत है, तभी इस समस्या से निजात मिल सकती है।

प्रदूषण किसी भी तरह का हो, यह हर तरह से हानिकारक होता है। इसलिए प्रदूषण की समस्या पर गौर करने की जरूरत है और यह तभी संभव है जब सभी लोग मिलकर अपने पर्यावरण को स्वच्छ रखने का संकल्प लें और ज्यादा से ज्यादा पेड़ लगाएं। इसके साथ ही पुराने वाहनों का इस्तेमाल कम करें और शहर से दूर से फैक्ट्री, कारखाने आदि लगाएं।

शहरों और गावों में बढ़ते प्रदूषण को मात्र लोगों में जागरुकता लाकर ही रोका जा सकता है। इसके लिए हमें कई महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाने की आवश्यकता है जैसे कि वाहनों के उपयोग को कम करना, अधिक पेड़ लगाना, रसायनों और कीटनाशकों का कम उपयोग करना आदि कई ऐसे उपाय है जिनके द्वारा प्रदूषण के स्तर को कम किया जा सकता है।

इसके अलावा प्रदूषण की इस समस्या को देखते हुए सरकार को भी प्लास्टिक और पॉलीथिन के इस्तेममाल पर प्रतिबंध लगाने की आवश्यकता है। कुछ मुख्य उपायों के बारे में नीचे लिखा गया है –

• ज्यादा से ज्यादा वृक्ष लगाएं
• वाहनों का इस्तेमाल कम करें
• सही तरीके से कचरे का निस्तारण

प्रदूषण आज के युग की एक बड़ी समस्या बन गया है, जिसका बुरा असर मनुष्य के स्वास्थ्य पर और जलवायु पर पड़ रहा है। अगर प्रदूषण की समस्या पर जल्द काबू नहीं पाया गया तो आने वाले दिनों में इसकी भारी कीमत चुकानी पड़ सकती है।

इसलिए प्रदूषण जैसी गंभीर समस्या से छुटकारा पाने के लिए हमें जागरूकता फैलाने की जरूरत है, इसके लिए जगह-जगह पर शिविर लगाए जाने चाहिए और एकजुट होकर ज्यादा से ज्यादा पेड़ लगाने चाहिए।

वातावरण को स्वच्छ रखना चाहिए और वाहनों का जितना हो सके कम इस्तेमाल करना चाहिए । बढ़ते प्रदूषण को रोकने के लिए अपना महत्वपूर्ण योगदान देना चाहिए, तभी हम प्रदूषण जैसी समस्या से निजात पा सकेंगे।

Pollution जिसे हिंदी में प्रदूषण कहा जाता है आप सभी इसे परिचित होगें औऱ यह भी बलि-भांति जानते होंगे कि प्रदूषण(Pollution) न केवल हमारे जीवन के लिए बल्कि पृथ्वी के जीवन के लिए भी ख़तरनाक़ हैं फिर भी यह दिन प्रतिदिन बढ़ता जा रहा है।

जिसके सबसे बड़े जिम्मेदार हम लोग हैं क्योंकि मनुष्य ने अपनी जरूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए पर्यावरण में अनेकों प्रकार के बदलाव किया जिसे प्राकृतिक को बहुत नुकसान हुआ और प्राकृतिक का संतुलन बिगाड़ता जा रहा हैं।

प्राकृतिक के सबसे बड़े दुश्मन मानव हैं यह इस बात से साबित होता हैं कि कोरोना वायरस के दौरान जब सब लोग अपने घर मे थे तो प्राकृतिक अपने आप ही साफ़-स्वच्छ होने लगीं जिसके लिए लाखों-करोड़ों रुपये खर्च किये जाते थे जिसे अपने भी अनुभव किया होगा।

प्रदूषण का क्या अर्थ है?

प्रदूषण का शाब्दिक अर्थ दूषित पदार्थ है। यह दूषित पदार्थ या तत्व कभी कभी आंखों से दिखते हैं तो कभी कभी मात्र इसके खराब परिणाम से ही मालूम हो पाता है कि हमारे आस पास वातावरण दूषित हो चुका है।

इस प्रदूषण(Pollution) को बढ़ाने के आरोपी इंसान ही है जो अपने फायदे के लिए वातावरण पर अत्याचार कर रहे है जैसे कि पेड़ काटना या फिर ऐसे वस्तु के इस्तेमाल को बढ़ावा देना जो प्रकृति पर हानिकारक प्रभाव डालते हैं।

प्रदूषण के प्रकार

प्रदूषण(Pollution) के कई प्रकार धरती पर वातावरण में अदृश्य रूप में मौजूद है यह प्रदूषण लोगों एवं वातावरण में मौजूद हर जीव के जीवन पर प्रभाव डालने में सक्षम है इसके कुछ प्रकार इस तरह हैं- वायु प्रदूषण, ध्वनि प्रदूषण, जल प्रदूषण, भूमि प्रदूषण

वायु प्रदूषण:- वायु अर्थात हवा जो हर व्यक्ति के जीवन के लिए बहुत जरूरी है क्योंकि हवा में मौजूद ऑक्सिजन गैस व्यक्तियों के जीवन का मुख्य स्रोत है लेकिन हवा में मात्र ऑक्सिजन गैस की ही उपस्थित नहीं होती बल्कि आज के युग में वाहनों से निकलने वाला धुवाँ भी ऑक्सिजन युक्त हवा में मिश्रित हो गए हैं।

और जिस रफ़्तार से पेडों को काट जा रहा हैं उसी रफ़्तार से मनुष्य जीवन मे शुद्ध हवा की कमी होती जा रही हैं क्योंकि पेड़ ही हवा में शुद्धता प्रदान करते है लेकिन पेड़ की गिनती कम होने के कारण वायु प्रदूषण में बढ़ोतरी हुई है।

ध्वनि प्रदूषण:- इस तरह के प्रदूषण को आम जनता की भाषा में शोर कहते हैं समाज में मौजूद हर शख्स की सुनने की एक समान क्षमता होती है लेकिन ध्वनि अगर सहन शक्ति से ज्यादा अधिक शक्ति की हो तो वह प्रदूषित कैटेगरी में आ जाती है।

ध्वनि प्रदूषण में सबसे बड़ा योगदान देर रातों को होने वाले पार्टी देती है इन पार्टियों में बेहद तेज आवाज में गाने बजाएं जाते हैं इसमें पुराने वक्त के जनरेटर भी आते हैं इनकी आवाज बेहद अधिक रहती है।

जल प्रदूषण:- पानी यानी जल हमारे शरीर में 70 फीसदी हिस्सा रखता है धरती पर इंसानों की उपस्थिति का सबसे बड़ा कारण भी जल की उपलब्धि होना ही है औऱ नासा के वैज्ञानिक बाकी ग्रहों पर पानी की उपस्थिति की खोज ही करते हैं ताकि धरती जैसा एक अन्य ग्रह पा सके।

पानी की असल अहमियत मात्र वैज्ञानिक ही जानते हैं लेकिन बाकी के धरतीवासियों को इससे ज्यादा फर्क नहीं पड़ता वह पानी का गलत इस्तेमाल कर उसे प्रदूषित कर रहे हैं। घर का गंदा पानी बहकर नदी में प्रवेश कर रहा है औऱ पानी मे कूड़ा करकट डाला जा रहा है।

भूमि प्रदूषण:- मनुष्य द्वारा अनेकों तरीको से भूमि प्रदूषण बढ़ता जा रहा है और भूमि की उपजाऊ शक्ति पर इसका प्रभाव पड़ता हैं अक़्सर रसायनिक खादों, फैक्ट्रियों के कचरे, कीटनाशक दवाओं इत्यादि के कारण भूमि प्रदूषित होती जा रही हैं।

आज यह बात आम हो चुकी है कि किसान फसल उगाने के लिए कीटनाशक दवाओं का छिड़काव करते हैं ताकि फसल अपने तय समय से पहले उग जाएं लेकिन यही गलती भूमि अर्थात मिट्टी को प्रदूषित कर रहीं हैं और की उपजाऊ शक्ति को कम कर रही है।

प्रदूषण की समस्या से बचाव

रीसायकल:- किसी भी वस्तु या पदार्थ का पूरा इस्तेमाल किया जाना चाहिए अर्थात अगर कोई वस्तु फिर से इस्तेमाल में ली जा सकती है तो उसे फिर से इस्तेमाल करें इस प्रकिया को रीसायकल कहा जाता हैं यानी प्रत्येक चीज का जितना सँभव हो उतनी बार इस्तेमाल करें।

साफ सफाई रखकर:- अपने घर को जिस प्रकार साफ सुथरा रखते हैं ठीक उसी प्रकार अपने घर के आस पास के वातावरण को शुद्ध रखना भी हमारी ही जिम्मेदारी है औऱ इसे निष्ठा से निभाएं।

प्रदूषण(Pollution) वातावरण में फैले उन तत्वों को कहा जाता है जो वातावरण को दूषित कर देता है। प्रदूषण शब्द असल में दो शब्दों के जोड़ से बना है जिसमें ‘प्र’ का अर्थ प्रकृति है अथवा दूषण का अर्थ ऐसे तत्व जो प्रकृति को असंतुलित कर रहे हैं।

समाज मे यह बात बार-बार कही जाती है कि हर जीव एक समान है परन्तु यह भूल जाते हैं कि उन्हें एक शक्ति मिली हुई जो उन्हें बाकी जीव से भिन्न बनाती हैं यह है उनकी दिमाग की शक्ति। व्यक्ति का दिमाग उसे हर परिस्थितियों को अच्छे से समझने का मौका देते हैं परन्तु विकास या तरक्की की सही समझ शायद मनुष्य नहीं समझ पाए हैं।

हवा में मौजूद प्रदूषण

जीवन जीने के लिए व्यक्ति का सांस लेना बेहद आवश्यक है अगर व्यक्ति सांस ले रहा है तो वह जीवित है परन्तु हवा में मौजूद गंदगी का शरीर के भीतर प्रवेश एक खतरनाक वायरस की भांति हैं इसलिए आज के युग में हवा भी सांस लेने के काबिल नहीं रही हैं।

परन्तु हवा में यह मौजूद गंदगी का मुख्य कारण हम मनुष्यों को ही जाता है क्योंकि तरक्की के नाम पर वातावरण से किया गया नुकसान हवा को दूषित करने का कार्य कर रहे हैं। आसान भाषा में कहा जाए तो व्यक्ति ऑक्सीजन अपने भीतर लेता है और कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड छोड़ता है तो वहीं इसके विपरीत पेड़ कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड लेता है और ऑक्सिजन छोड़ते हैं परन्तु व्यक्ति पेड़ काटकर हवा में मौजूद कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड को बढ़ावा दे रहे हैं।

पानी का प्रदूषण:-

“जल है तो जीवन है” या “जल है तो कल है” ऐसे कई स्लोगन दीवारों पर लिखे जाते हैं ताकि मनुष्य इसकी अहमियत को बढ़ावा देने पर ध्यान दें परन्तु जल का बेहद दुरुपयोग किया जा रहा है जैसे कि पानी में कूड़ा-करकट डालना जो बहते हुए नदी में मिल जाता है।

जिससे पानी में रहने वाले जीवों को हानि पहुंचती है और हवा में मौजूद प्रदूषण के कण बारिश के साथ घुल कर धरती पर आ जाते हैं जिसे भी पानी नदी को दूषित कर देते हैं।

ध्वनि प्रदूषण:-

जब किसी आवाज की सीमा सहन शक्ति से अधिक हो तो वह ध्वनि प्रदूषण के कैटेगरी में डाल दिया जाता है शोर से उतपन्न होती तरंगे सिर पर दर्द कर देता है और इसके साथ कान में भी दर्द उतपन्न कर देता है जो दिन प्रतिदिन बढ़ता जा रहा है।

भूमि प्रदूषण:-

भूमि अर्थात धरती। भारत में धरती को माँ स्वरूप पूजा जाता है परन्तु जिस प्रकार धरती को मनुष्यों ने गलत इस्तेमाल कर धूमिल कर दिया है जिसका सबसे बड़ा उदाहरण रास्ते में फैले कूड़े के ढेर है।

प्रदूषण(Pollution) से लड़ने के लिए भारत में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी सरकार ने गांधी जी के जन्म उत्सव के उपलक्ष्य में स्वच्छ भारत अभियान की शुरुआत की थीं इसका उद्देश्य देश को साफ सुथरा रखना है।

भारत दुनिया का सबसे पुराना देश है जहाँ के रीति रिवाज, उत्सव, कल्चर की पूरी दुनिया दीवानी है यही दीवानापन पर्यटकों को भारत पहुंचने के लिए आमंत्रित करते हैं परन्तु भारत का यह दुर्भाग्य है कि भारत का इतना मजबूत इतिहास होने के बावजूद यहाँ पर्यटकों की संख्या काफी कम हैं।

प्रधानमंत्री मोदी का यह भी लक्ष्य की वह भारत को खुले में शौच मुक्त बना सकें परन्तु यह योजना मात्र उस प्रदूषण पर कारगर साबित होती है जो प्रदूषण आंख से देखे जा सकते हैं परन्तु जो दूषित तत्व वातावरण में घुल जाते हैं उससे निपटारा पाने के लिए व्यक्तियों का जागरूक होना बेहद आवश्यक है।

प्रदूषण(Pollution) पूरी दुनिया के लिए एक भयानक समस्या बन चुकी है इससे बचने के लिए कई तरीकों का इस्तेमाल किया जा रहा है परन्तु अगर व्यक्ति पहले से ही वातावरण को हानि न पहुंचाता तो आज के वक्त शुद्ध वातावरण में जीवन व्यतीत करने का अवसर प्रदान होता।

पूरी दुनिया में प्रदूषण ने अपना भयानक रूप दिखाना शुरू कर दिया है भारत भी इस भयानक रूप का शिकार हो चुका है प्रदूषण में भारत की ही राजधानी दिल्ली को प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त है जहाँ सर्दी के महीने खासकर सांस लेने लायक हवा बिल्कुल न के बराबर मौजूद है इसलिए आप कई उपायों का इस्तेमाल करके अपने गाँव एवं शहर को प्रदूषण रहित कर सकते हैं।

ओड इवन:- इसमें एक दिन वह वाहन ही चल सकते हैं जिसके आखिरी संख्या 2 से भाग होती हो और अगले दिन वह संख्या दौड़ सकती है जो 2 से भाग न होती हो। इससे यह होगा कि रास्ते मे जाम कम लगा करेगा जिससे कारो से होने वाला वायु प्रदूषण में कमी होगी और साथ ही साथ ध्वनि प्रदूषण में भी गिरावट होगी।

कार पुल्लिंग:- इस उपाय का चलन भारत में ओड इवन नियम के लागू होने पर ही प्रचलित हुआ। इसके उदहारण में यह है कि मान लीजिए राम और श्याम दोनों एक ही कंपनी में कार्यरत हैं। परन्तु राम की गाड़ी की आखिरी संख्या इवन है तो श्याम की गाड़ी की आखिरी संख्या ओड।

इस उपाय के तहत जिस दिन मात्र इवन वाहन ही चलन में हो तो श्याम, राम के गाड़ी में जा सकता है। इससे यह होगा कि ईंधन भी बचेगा एवं शहर प्रदूषण से भी बचेगा।

पेड़ लगाएं:- देश में विकास की स्थापना करने के लिए भारत में हर दिन नई इमारत का निर्माण कार्य चलन में हैं परन्तु इस निर्माण में जंगलों एवं पेड़ो को काटकर नुकसान पहुंचाया जा रहा है। किसी भी देश में प्रदूषण को कम करने के लिए पेड़ो का होना बेहद जरूरी है।

यह अपनी भूमिका बेहद अच्छे से निभाता है। पेड़ वातावरण में मौजूद कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड की मात्रा को संतुलित करता है। व्यक्तियों को स्वंय से पेड़ लगाने की मुहिम चालू करनी चाहिए। पेड़ो और जंगल की अहमियत को समझना चाहिए।

धरती पर जल प्रदूषण लगातार एक बढ़ती समस्या बनती जा रही है जो सभी पहलुओं से मानव और जानवरों को प्रभावित कर रही है। मानव गतिविधियों के द्वारा उत्पन्न जहरीले प्रदूषकों के द्वारा पीने के पानी का मैलापन ही जल प्रदूषण है। जल कई स्रोतों के माध्यम से पूरा पानी प्रदूषित हो रहा है जैसे शहरी अपवाह, कृषि, औद्योगिक, तलछटी, अपशिष्ट भरावक्षेत्र से निक्षालन, पशु अपशिष्ट और दूसरी मानव गतिविधियाँ। सभी प्रदूषक पर्यावरण के लिये बहुत हानिकारक हैं।

जल में अवांछनीय और हानिकारक पदार्थों के मिलने पर जल का दूषित हो जाना, जलप्रदुषण कहलाता है। जब हम प्रदूषित पानी पीते हैं, तब खतरनाक रसायन और दूसरे प्रदूषक शरीर के अंदर प्रवेश कर जाते हैं और शरीर के सभी अंगों के कार्यों को बिगाड़ देते हैं और हमारा जीवन खतरे में डाल देते हैं।

जल प्रदूषण का कारण और प्रभाव

बढ़ती मांग और विलासिता के कारण जल प्रदूषण पूरे विश्व के लोगों के द्वारा किया जा रहा है। कई सारी मानव क्रियाकलापों से उत्पादित कचरा पूरे पानी को खराब करता है और जल में ऑक्सीजन की मात्रा को कम करता है। ऐसे प्रदूषक जल की भौतिक, रसायनिक, थर्मल और जैव-रसायनिक विशेषता को कम करते हैं और पानी के बाहर के साथ ही पानी के अंदर के जीवन को बुरी तरह प्रभावित करते हैं।

जल प्रदूषण पर नियंत्रण

खाद, कीटनाशकों आदि के कृषि उपयोगों से बाहर आने वाले रसायनों के कारण उच्च स्तरीय जल प्रदूषण होता है। जल प्रदूषक की मात्रा और प्रकार के आधार पर जल प्रदूषण का प्रभाव जगह के अनुसार बदलता है। पीने के पानी की गिरावट को रोकने के लिये तुरंत एक बचाव तरीके की ज़रुरत है जो धरती पर रह रहे, प्रत्येक व्यक्ति की समझ और सहायता के द्वारा संभव है।

ऐसे खतरनाक रसायन पशु और पौधों के जीवन को बुरी तरह से प्रभावित करते हैं। जब पौधे अपनी जड़ों के द्वारा गंदे पानी को सोखते हैं, वो बढ़ना बंद कर देते हैं और सूख जाते हैं। जहाजों और उद्योगों से निकलने वाले दूषित जल की वजह से हजारों समुद्री जीव मर जाते हैं।

धरती पर जीवन के लिये जल सबसे ज़रुरी वस्तु है। यहाँ किसी भी प्रकार के जीवन और उसके अस्तित्व को ये संभव बनाता है। जीव मंडल में पारिस्थितिकी संतुलन को ये बनाये रखता है। पीने, नहाने, ऊर्जा उत्पादन, फसलों की सिंचाई, सीवेज़ के निपटान, उत्पादन प्रक्रिया आदि बहुत उद्देश्यों को पूरा करने के लिये स्वच्छ जल बहुत ज़रुरी है। बढ़ती जनसंख्या के कारण तेज औद्योगिकीकरण और अनियोजित शहरीकरण बढ़ रहा है जो बड़े और छोटे पानी के स्रोतों में ढेर सारा कचरा छोड़ रहें हैं जो अंतत: पानी की गुणवत्ता को गिरा रहा है।

जल में ऐसे प्रदूषकों के सीधे और लगातार मिलने से पानी में उपलब्ध ओजोन (जो खतरनाक सूक्ष्म जीवों को मारता है) के घटने के द्वारा जल की स्व:शुद्धिकरण क्षमता घट रही है। जल प्रदूषक जल की रसायनिक, भौतिक और जैविक विशेषता को बिगाड़ रहा है जो पूरे विश्व में सभी पौड़-पौधों, मानव और जानवरों के लिये बहुत खतरनाक है। पशु और पौधों की बहुत सारी महत्वपूर्ण प्रजातियाँ जल प्रदूषकों के कारण खत्म हो चुकी है। ये एक वैश्विक समस्या है जो विकसित और विकासशील दोनों देशों को प्रभावित कर रही हैं। खनन, कृषि, मछली पालन, स्टॉकब्रिडींग, विभिन्न उद्योग, शहरी मानव क्रियाएँ, शहरीकरण, निर्माण उद्योगों की बढ़ती संख्या, घरेलू सीवेज़ आदि के कारण बड़े स्तर पर पूरा पानी प्रदूषित हो रहा है।

विभिन्न स्रोतों से निकले जल पदार्थ की विशिष्टता पर निर्भर जल प्रदूषण के बहुत सारे स्रोत हैं (बिन्दु स्रोत और गैर-बिन्दु स्रोत या बिखरा हुआ स्रोत)। उद्योग, सीवेज़ उपचार संयंत्र, अपशिष्ट भरावक्षेत्र, खतरनाक कूड़े की जगह से बिन्दु स्रोत पाइपलाईन, नाला, सीवर आदि सम्मिलित करता है, तेल भण्डारण टैंक से लीकेज़ जो सीधे पानी के स्रोतों में कचरा गिराता है। जल प्रदूषण का बिखरा हुआ स्रोत कृषि संबंधी मैदान, ढेर सारा पशुधन चारा, पार्किंग स्थल और सड़क में से सतह जल, शहरी सड़कों से तूफानी अपवाह आदि हैं जो बड़े पानी के स्रोतों में इनसे निकले हुए प्रदूषकों को मिला देता है। गैर-बिन्दु प्रदूषक स्रोत बड़े स्तर पर जल प्रदूषण में भागीदारी करता है जिसे नियंत्रित करना बहुत कठिन और महँगा है।

पूरे विश्व के लिये जल प्रदूषण एक बड़ा पर्यावरणीय और सामाजिक मुद्दा है। ये अपने चरम बिंदु पर पहुँच चुका है। राष्ट्रीय पर्यावरण अभियांत्रिकी अनुसंधान संस्थान (नीरी), नागपुर के अनुसार ये ध्यान दिलाया गया है कि नदी जल का 70% बड़े स्तर पर प्रदूषित हो गया है। भारत की मुख्य नदी व्यवस्था जैसे गंगा, ब्रह्मपुत्र, सिंधु, प्रायद्वीपीय और दक्षिण तट नदी व्यवस्था बड़े पैमाने पर प्रभावित हो चुकी है। भारत में मुख्य नदी खासतौर से गंगा भारतीय संस्कृति और विरासत से अत्यधिक जुड़ी हुई है। आमतौर पर लोग जल्दी सुबह नहाते हैं और किसी भी व्रत या उत्सव में गंगा जल को देवी-देवताओं को अर्पण करते हैं। अपने पूजा को संपन्न करने के मिथक में गंगा में पूजा विधि से जुड़ी सभी सामग्री को डाल देते हैं।

नदियों में डाले गये कचरे से जल के स्व:पुनर्चक्रण क्षमता के घटने के द्वारा जल प्रदूषण बढ़ता है इसलिये नदियों के पानी को स्वच्छ और ताजा रखने के लिये सभी देशों में खासतौर से भारत में सरकारों द्वारा इसे प्रतिबंधित कर देना चाहिये। उच्च स्तर के औद्योगिकीकरण होने के बावजूद दूसरे देशों से जल प्रदूषण की स्थिति भारत में अधिक खराब है। केन्द्रिय प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, भारत में गंगा सबसे प्रदूषित नदी है अब जो पहले अपनी स्व शुद्धिकरण क्षमता और तेज बहने वाली नदी के रुप में प्रसिद्ध थी। लगभग 45 चमड़ा बनाने का कारखाना और 10 कपड़ा मिल कानपुर के निकट नदी में सीधे अपना कचरा (भारी कार्बनिक कचरा और सड़ा सामान) छोड़ते हैं। एक आकलन के अनुसार, गंगा नदी में रोज लगभग 1,400 मिलियन लीटर सीवेज़ और 200 मिलियन लीटर औद्योगिक कचरा लगातार छोड़ा जा रहा है।

दूसरे मुख्य उद्योग जिनसे जल प्रदूषण हो रहा है वो चीनी मिल, भट्टी, ग्लिस्रिन, टिन, पेंट, साबुन, कताई, रेयान, सिल्क, सूत आदि जो जहरीले कचरे निकालती है। 1984 में, गंगा के जल प्रदूषण को रोकने के लिये गंगा एक्शन प्लान को शुरु करने के लिये सरकार द्वारा एक केन्द्रिय गंगा प्राधिकारण की स्थापना की गयी थी। इस योजना के अनुसार हरिद्वार से हूगली तक बड़े पैमाने पर 27 शहरों में प्रदूषण फैला रही लगभग 120 फैक्टरियों को चिन्हित किया गया था। लखनऊ के पास गोमती नदी में लगभग 19.84 मिलियन गैलन कचरा लुगदी, कागज, भट्टी, चीनी, कताई, कपड़ा, सीमेंट, भारी रसायन, पेंट और वार्निश आदि के फैक्टरियों से गिरता है। पिछले 4 दशकों ये स्थिति और भी भयावह हो चुकी है। जल प्रदूषण से बचने के लिये सभी उद्योगों को मानक नियमों को मानना चाहिये, प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड को सख्त कानून बनाने चाहिये, उचित सीवेज़ निपटान सुविधा का प्रबंधन हो, सीवेज़ और जल उपचार संयंत्र की स्थापना, सुलभ शौचालयों आदि का निर्माण करना चाहिये।

What is Environmental Pollution?

The phenomenon of undesirable changes in the surroundings that are harmful to animals and plants, and leads to environmental degradation is known as environmental pollution. These changes can occur because of the solid, liquid or gaseous pollutants. For example, DDT, plastic, and heavy materials take more time to degrade and are known as notable pollutants. For the determination of risk assessment of public health, concentration of pollutants is measured.

The presence of contaminants in the environment is referred to as pollution. Everything that makes up the environment, including the air, water bodies, flora, and wildlife, is impacted by pollution in one way or another. There are four main types of pollution – Air Pollution, Water Pollution, Noise Pollution and Soil or Land Pollution . Additionally, pollution contributes to global issues including acid rain, global warming, and greenhouse gas consequences. A rise in the planet’s average surface temperature is referred to as global warming, and it causes starvation, floods, and droughts.

Environmental pollution has a wide-ranging impact. In addition to the current effects of pollution, a lack of effective pollution prevention measures also imperils the future of various species. The pollution is causing harm at a far faster rate than it can be healed. Reversing the environmental harm we have caused could take generations, and even then, it won’t be simple. It will require tight discipline and commitment to stop pollution.

The best ways feasible are being used by various nations to respond to these catastrophes. More efforts are being launched to raise public awareness about the dangers of pollution and the importance of preserving our ecosystem. Greener lifestyles are gaining popularity; examples include using wind and solar energy, new climate-friendly cars, and energy-efficient lighting.

Pollution is the term used to describe the entry of pollutants into the environment. Noise, water, and air pollution are only a few of the several types of pollution. There is a direct relationship between the rise of pollution levels and illnesses among people. Therefore, it is important for everyone to be knowledgeable about pollution, its impacts, and effective ways to eliminate it. Our environment needs a balanced combination of all components, just like our body requires a balanced diet. The environment is polluted by any substance that is present above that limit for example rise in the levels of nitrogen oxides and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere causes harm to human health due to poor air quality. 

All forms of pollution, whether in the air, water, soil, or noise, have a negative impact on living things. Deadly diseases that are brought on by the contamination of soil, water, air, or sound affect organisms.

Among the most common disorders brought on by air pollution are acute lower respiratory infections in children, ischemic heart disease, stroke, lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and lung cancer. Air pollution is a major contributor to a number of ailments in India, including strokes, bronchitis, heart attacks, lung diseases, cancer, and early mortality from heart disorders. The most pressing issue in the world now is global warming, which is caused by air pollution.

Around the world, poor drinking water quality is the reason behind 50% of child deaths and 80% of illnesses, including more than 50 different diseases. Water pollution causes diarrhoea, skin diseases, malnutrition, and even cancer, as well as other issues that are related to it.

 Every day, noise pollution has an effect on millions of people. The most frequent result of this is noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL). Loud noises have the potential to cause stress, high blood pressure, heart disease, and sleep difficulties. Children in particular are prone to these health issues across the board in terms of age groups. Noise pollution is extremely harmful, and it’s especially deadlier for people with heart issues. 

Use of the 3Rs, or reduce, reuse, and recycle, is the first step in reducing pollution. People should use air conditioners less since they generate noxious gases, such as ozone-depleting chlorofluorocarbons, which will minimise air pollution.

Reducing the number of vehicles on the road will also help to clean up the planet’s air. The more often cars are used, the more dangerous chemicals like sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, and hydrocarbons that contribute to major air pollution are released into the atmosphere.

Increasing public awareness is a further means of reducing pollution on Earth. Through programmes like the “Go Green” campaign, which urges people to plant more trees and use recyclable materials in their daily lives, awareness can be raised about the significance of eliminating pollution on Earth. The “Earth Hour” is another globally recognised event that calls for everyone to turn off all lights for one hour in order to raise awareness of the significance of reducing electricity usage in order to minimise pollution on Earth.

The government’s obligation to maintain national laws is one way to reduce pollution on Earth. Offenders should be subject to harsh penalties, such as increased fines and longer prison terms, which will force them to reconsider their influence on the environment and serve as a message to those who are not currently involved but who might be in the future.
