My Father was always there for me when I needed him, and he has never failed to show me his support. He has also been a great role model for my career path. My Father always believed in me, and he has helped me to achieve my goals both professionally and personally. He is someone who I can always count on, no matter what situation we are in. I would not be where I am today without my Father’s guidance and support.

The Relationship I Had With My Father

Growing up, I had a very close relationship with my father. He was my role model and often acted as the example for how a man should behave. He never hesitated to give me a hug or tell me that he loved me. My father always pushed me to be the best that I could be, and he was always willing to help out whenever I needed it. Though we don’t see each other as much as we would like, I know that the relationship we have is still very strong.

Lessons I Learned From My Father

Growing up, I idolized my father. He was a hard worker and an all around great guy. I loved everything about him, from the way he could fix anything to the stories he would tell me at bedtime. I learned a lot from my dad, some of which I might not have realized at the time. Here are five things that I believe I learned from him: 1.Hard work pays off – My dad is one of the hardest working people I know. Whether it’s fixing cars or building houses, he always finds a way to get the job done. This lesson has definitely stuck with me throughout my life, and it’s helped me achieve some goals that were initially difficult. 2.It’s important to stay positive – One of the biggest lessons my dad taught me was to keep a positive attitude no matter what happened. Even when things were tough, he never gave up on himself or on us. This has really helped me in life – especially during times of trial. 3.Family is important – Another lesson my dad taught me was how important family is. He always put us first and showed us how much he loved us. Even though we weren’t always close growing up, his love for us remains strong to this day. 4.Values are important – One of the most important values my dad instilled in me was honesty and integrity . He never let anyone push him around 5.Judge before Helping anyone- My father always said that everyone doesn’t deserve help and helping the non deserving ones always brings hard luck. So be judgmental before helping anyone.

My Heroism Towards Others

When I was younger, my father always struck me as being a hero. He was always there for me, no matter what. Even when I was a brat, he would always put up with me. And even though he wasn’t there physically, he still managed to be a hero to me in spirit. He always made an effort to be there for me and show his love, even though he wasn’t around physically. I think that it is really important for fathers to be there for their children. Too often, fathers are absent or uninvolved in their children’s lives. But my dad was different. He was there for me whenever I needed him, no matter how bad I behaved. And because of that, I owe him everything. He has been the model father that I have wanted to become and the one that I aspire to be like. Fathers play an incredibly important role in our lives and without them, we would not be who we are today. They are the ones who give us hope and teach us about values and morals. Without them, life would not be worth living

Whatever I have written is not an exaggeration — he is really my hero. He has always been there for me, whether it was lending a listening ear when I needed to talk or offering a helping hand when I needed it most. He has never given up on me and continues to be an incredibly positive force in my life. Even now, as I approach adulthood and start to take on more responsibilities, my dad remains the rock that helps me stay grounded and focused. Without him, I don’t think I would be where I am today. Thank you, Dad – you are the best dad a girl could ask for!

He is not just a parent but my hero, an extraordinary figure whose influence has shaped the person I am today. His life story is a testament to the power of hard work, kindness, and selflessness.

My father’s journey began with a remarkable sense of obedience and determination, qualities instilled in him from a young age. His parents, my grandparents, often regale us with tales of his unswerving commitment to his studies and the goals he set for himself. Whether it was acing his exams or excelling in sports, he constantly worked toward his objectives. This determination left an indelible mark on his character and inspired not only his siblings but also his peers.

Yet, his brilliance in academics and sports was only part of the story. What truly set my father apart was his compassionate nature. However, what sets my father apart is his belief in leading a simple life. Despite the means to afford a luxurious lifestyle, he chooses to live in a modest flat. His values of contentment and minimalism are lessons he imparts to us daily. He teaches us that happiness is not found in material possessions but in the simplicity of life and the richness of experiences. These values have shaped our worldview and instilled in us a profound appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.

One of the most awe-inspiring facets of my father’s character is his commitment to giving back to society. He dedicates a significant portion of his earnings to social work. He actively participates in a non-profit organization dedicated to providing food and education to underprivileged children. Every Saturday, he selflessly spends his time with these children, distributing not only food but also love and care. His actions reflect a broader lesson: that success is not solely measured by personal achievements but by the positive impact one can make in the lives of others. This philanthropic spirit has inspired me to engage in community service and contribute positively to the lives of others.

He is a part of a non-profit organization that focuses on providing food and education to underprivileged children. Every Saturday, he dedicates his time to visit these children, distributing not just food but also love and care. His actions reflect a broader lesson: that success is not solely measured by personal achievements but by the positive impact one can make in the lives of others. My father’s commitment to making the world a better place has instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility to contribute to our community and help those in need.

Conclusion:

In the tapestry of my life, my father is the brightest thread, the hero who guides and inspires me. His ability to offer the best advice, his dedication to our family, his embodiment of integrity and compassion, and his philanthropic spirit have left an indelible mark on my life. My father’s influence has shaped my character and aspirations, and I am forever grateful for the guidance and love he has provided. He is not just a hero; he is a guiding light, illuminating the path to becoming a better human being and making a positive impact on the world.

My Father is My Hero Essay in English

The importance of the word ‘Father’ and its general worth towards family is limitless. This word generates honor because of symbol good deeds which every head of the family tries to earn.

My Father is My Hero Essay in English

Daily Test - Attempt Now

One of the reasons my father is my hero is his unwavering support and involvement in all aspects of my life. He always stands by my side, ensuring that I make the right choices and encouraging my growth. With a deep understanding of my aspirations and the ever-changing world, he offers valuable guidance and imparts wisdom through his thoughtful lectures. His concern for my future career is evident, and he goes above and beyond to nurture my skills and help me achieve my goals.

Despite facing financial constraints, my father goes to great lengths to fulfill my genuine needs and ensures that I never feel inadequate. He works tirelessly, often sacrificing his own comfort, to augment his earnings for my sake. He may eat a little less, but he never hesitates to provide for me.

My father possesses the education and a logical mindset. Over time, he has adapted to the modern world and become a trendy dad. He utilizes his knowledge and contemporary perspectives to raise me in a manner that prepares me for the competitive life of today. He leaves no stone unturned to meet my necessities and strives to eliminate any gaps that may hinder my development and career-building process.

What sets my father apart as an ideal father is his openness toward my career choices. Unlike some parents who impose their own preferences, my father respects my individuality and encourages me to pursue a future that aligns with my own passions, aptitude, and capabilities. The traditional notion of children following their parents’ professions has faded away. Doctors do not insist their children become doctors, professors do not compel their offspring to join academia, and army officers do not pressure their sons to join the military. Similarly, my father desires that I have a brighter future based on my own choices.

My father is a mature and understanding individual who assists me in making important decisions. Like any loving father, he plays a vital role in my life, helping me shape my career and navigate everyday challenges. Whenever I seek guidance or support, I know I can rely on my father. He selflessly puts aside his own priorities and devotes himself to addressing my needs. His tireless efforts and countless sacrifices to resolve my problems are a testament to his love and care.

Every year, we celebrate Father’s Day on 19th June, an occasion to strengthen the bond with our fathers and express gratitude for their sacrifices. However, it has become a mere formality for many, lacking genuine emotional connection and appreciation. In today’s times, children often choose to live separately from their fathers, prioritizing their own families and forgetting their responsibilities towards their aging fathers, who hold onto hope for support.

It is very important that we should give deep respect and pay the highest regard to our fathers not just because they are fathers, but for their unmatched fatherhood and incredible sacrifices towards us. We must recognize the value of their presence and the impact they have on our lives. By cherishing our fathers, upholding our duties, and expressing gratitude for their sacrifices, we can truly acknowledge the heroism they embody in their roles as fathers.

While on hand my mother has s soft heart, it is my father who shows courage and strength which his children will later on imbibe as their qualities. He can be firm at times, but be rest assured it is always for the benefit of the children.

Conclusion:

There is no doubt that my father’s role is vital in my life. His presence is vital for maintaining the balance and peace in my family. My father has over the years proven to be a person who has a very kind heart and I can boldly say that he is my best friend and my hero.

About My Father:

Appa was born in Coimbatore, the second son and third child in a family of 11 children. His father, my grandfather was a stern man, a respected civil engineer who worked for the colonial British government.

Appa attended the Rishi Valley School in Yercaud, founded on the learning philosophy of Jiddu Krishnamurthy. There he learned the value of discipline, respect for hard work, honesty, responsibility and constant learning. He studied electrical engineering at Banaras Hindu University and went on to join Voltas Limited’s air conditioning division. He worked there the rest of his life, and was regarded as brilliant and a genius.

My childhood memories of him are as a stern, strict and not very communicative man. He’d crack the most unhumorous Dad jokes and we’d all grimace and laugh dutifully.

He felt a deep and abiding sense of responsibility towards his own family of birth as well as his marital family. The modest salary he always earned would be divided between these two families, and since he was terrible at currying favour or promoting himself, he never rose within the ranks of Voltas and his income remained quite pathetic till he died. This officially made us a lower-middle class family and our childhoods were frugal, thrifty and austere. A little money meant a lot.

Despite these constraints, Appa planned our futures successfully. When his provident funds were released after his retirement, he used the entire amount, augmented by a bank loan, to buy a house in his two sons’ names. For the rest of our lives, we had a roof over our heads.

Why I like my father:

One of the most remarkable things about Appa was the number of things he was interested in. In Calcutta, he would spend hours outside a tailor’s shop watching him make clothes. After several months, he bought himself a Singer sewing machine. From then, all our clothes, including winter school uniforms, were stitched by him.

He taught himself carpentry — and constructed the sofa sets we used for decades.

He learned dry cleaning — and from then, we would go to school smelling of kerosene in winter.

He was an outstanding cook, and loved cooking. When my mother was immobilized with lymphatic TB, he’d cook breakfast, lunch and dinner for the family in the morning before leaving for work.

Best of all, he was a brilliant musician, gifted in playing the vichitra veena. He had his own Carnatic ‘band’ with a flutist and a mridangam player.

Things I Learned from My Father:

I have slowly realised how much of who I am was shaped by who he was. Like him, I never get bored, and remain fascinated by everything in life. I’m constantly active doing something constructive or educational. I am today two years younger than he was when he died but have started learning to play piano, understand search engine optimisation, UX design and painting.

I learned from him that generosity is a state of mind, not a state of wallet. The number of nameless, faceless poor people he had helped was long, as we learned only after he died. Never demeaning his beneficiaries with a handout, he invited them to repay at their time and speed, but made sure that they did, thus restoring their self-respect.

Without ever speaking about it, he has shown me what it means to be a father, and the meaning of selfless living.

A single incident sums up my relationship with my dad. He wanted me to join the IIT and become an engineer. I wanted to be a writer, a profession he disdained as having no future. Headstrong, in 1969, I stepped out of the train in which my family was relocating from Delhi to Bombay just as the whistle blew. I was bent on living my life my way.

My father, deeply upset, cut me off without a paisa, saying I could jolly well support myself if I was so confident about writing. And so I did, earning enough through writing for the evening papers to pay my rent, college fees and food. Six months later, my father, passing through Delhi in December, visited me to check how his strong-headed son was doing, and saw for himself that I was surviving well enough without borrowing or begging. He visibly swelled with pride.

He hugged me, in one action forgiving me but also forgiving himself. He used the 400 rupees he had received as a Christmas bonus to buy me utensils, a mattress, and other basics.

From that day, he would proudly say, “My son followed his heart rather than my head — and see what a fine job he has done.”

For instance, your topic is ‘My father, my hero!’ Here is how you should begin writing your essay.

My father is a gem of a person. He knows how to take care of his family in times of distress. Apart from this, he is a great teacher, impacting the lives of millions of people. His noble ways of teaching and sharing knowledge make him a superhero not only for me but for all those people whose lives he touched.

My father had a small family. He was the only son of his parents. His parents loved him but were very strict. His childhood days were carefree, but he was a responsible kid, aware of his duty towards his parents. He would never disobey them. His love was unconditional for his parents, and he would go out of his way to serve them. Since he did not have his siblings to support him, he led quite a lonely life. He was a self-made man who struggled in his early years to make a name of himself. His teachers loved him for his honesty and intelligence.

As he grew up to be a man, he was loyal to his job and family. He left no stone unturned in serving his aging parents. He got married and had kids. His love continued to grow for his family. For the sake of our happiness, he would sacrifice his little acts of happiness. He would feel happy when we were happy. The students he taught learned acts of graciousness and nobility from him. They would yearn to be like him, striving in little ways to become a personality he would cherish. Simple acts of kindness made him a superhero. He became a hero in my eyes and in the lives of all those people he affected in one way or the other.

From the milkman to the newspaperman, every person would greet him with great respect. The respect he earned showed how loved and revered he was. His altruism, chivalry, and bravery were exhibited in daily activities. He was a man of integrity, values, and principles. All these things and a lot more made him different from other superheroes. He was neither a celebrity nor an action hero, but he was a great man of spirit who lived in people's hearts.

My Father is my Hero

How it works

It was a cold December night. The night before Christmas to be precise. Most children, or should I say, teenagers of my age would be in bed, warm and cozy right now – dreaming of the gifts they would receive in the morning. If they couldn’t sleep, they would be listening to music or watching old Christmas movies. For me though, things were very different.

I was standing in a small airport near London; it was eleven thirty at night and I was saying goodbye to my father for what could be the last time.

Why? Because my dad was about to go on a tour to Afghanistan for six months. Christmas Eve seemed a particularly cruel time to send soldiers abroad. My mom was in floods of tears; they streamed down her face. I wanted to join her and cry – pour my heart out with her. But I knew I couldn’t. I had to remain strong. Show her everything was going to be okay, that there was nothing to worry about. Not just for her but for my dad too. I just couldn’t make it any harder for him to go than it already was. It would be selfish. I gave him a final hug and said goodbye. He turned to my mom and whispered something in her ear; then he kissed her on her forehead, told her he loved her and would always, no matter what happens. He boarded the plane. Mom and I waved until he was out of sight and then walked to the car. We got in without speaking. Mom turned on the engine and started to drive. I watched the windscreen wipers rotate back and forth, lost in my thoughts until I drifted into sleep.

I woke up the next morning to find myself covered in a blanket and lying on the couch. I caught a glimpse of our tree which we’d decorated it a couple of weeks before with Dad, and remembered it was Christmas. Christmas, a time which is usually happy and joyful; a time for celebrating and spending time with family. For me, it had turned to despair and sadness. I no longer wanted presents. I just wanted one thing back – my dad. Mom was trying her best to be cheerful, she’d even put some Christmas tunes on the stereo, but I knew it was an act.

Later on, after we’d been through the ritual of presents and Christmas lunch, the phone rang. It was an ‘out of area’ number. Confused, I picked up the phone. “Hello?”

“Hello. This is Warrant Officer Graham…” before his sentence was complete I yelled, “It’s dad!” Mom dropped the tea towel she’d been holding and came running. I’d never been so happy to hear my father’s voice. It was better than any Christmas present. He’d phoned just to tell us he was safe. He said he would be able to call once a week. He wasn’t sure what day or time, but he reassured us that he’d also send letters as often as possible.

During the week that followed, I sat down and wrote my first letter to Dad. I knew the more I wrote, the more he would have to respond to and I was looking forward to hearing back from him. It was important to reassure him with news from home and I was careful to focus on the positive. I posted it immediately and eagerly awaited a reply.

About a week later, I received a letter from Dad. He explained what he was doing, what it was like to be on the front line. He said how he missed us and couldn’t wait for my next letter. My dad loved my artwork but resisted whenever it came to military pictures – aircraft, weapons, bombs. I would dedicate all my time to working on drawings and paintings to send to him for his area in Afghanistan. He always got compliments about my drawings and I wanted him to be proud when he thought about me. True to his word, he called once every week.

Suddenly though, as spring arrived, the letters and calls stopped. The frosts and cold weather was thawing but I felt frozen inside. It’d been ten days and nothing. My heart was constantly in the pit of my stomach. I kept telling myself not to worry; he’s very busy…probably. Really, though, I feared the worst.

I was back at school now, working hard for my exams. My final art project was a collection of pastel pieces based on military objects – I’d had a lot of practice. The trouble was this made me think about Dad even more. Although I tried to keep them to myself, my fears grew.

After a long day at school, I came home to find Mom grey-faced with tear tracks and black smudge marks obvious on her face. She had been crying. My heart pounded uncontrollably out of my chest. I prepared myself quickly, ready for the worst. She sat me down at the table and, holding back her tears, looked me in the eye. “Your father’s… your father’s been killed in action.” Her voice wobbled and the tears came again. I felt physically sick.

“No. No, he can’t be… He just can’t be!” I shouted.

“He was shot, love. Killed in action. They told me he risked his life. No… he gave his life to save all his men.” Mom said.

“He’s a hero, my father. A hero.” I whispered to her. We sat in silence.

“Do you remember when we took him to the airport?” I asked.

“He whispered something in your ear, didn’t he? What did he say?”

She knew immediately what I was talking about. “He said that if anything happened to him, he wanted me to tell you that he loves you. No matter how old you are or how old you become, you mean the world to him. He wanted me to tell you that if died, he would be watching over you every day. Like a guardian angel.” A tear of joy and sadness rolled down my face. I started to cry. Not because I was weak, but because I’d been strong too long. Not only is my father a hero, but he is my hero. My father. My hero.

Essay on My Father in 500 Words

My Father Essay in 500 Words

Everyone talks about the love and affection of a mother in life. But most of the time we ignore the love and feelings for the father in all the shows, movies, and other things. Father is that person who gives us strength and support from the back.

Whatever we achieve in our life, the father has the biggest contribution to that. Most of the fathers are the ideal person for their kids. I am sharing about my father here.

About My Father:

My father is a farmer and we live in a village . He is a hard-working person. I am proud of my father. There are so many reasons why I am proud of him. First of all, I want to tell you about his life. He wakes up early in the morning and after breakfast, he takes all the cows on the field.

We have five big cows and we make a good amount of money selling milk. Then he goes to the paddy field. He works there till 2 PM. Then he comes back home and takes a shower and eats his lunch. Then he brings the cows back home.

And sometimes in the early morning, he takes milk from the cows. In the afternoon, he goes to the village market to buy all the necessary things. Then he comes back home. He goes to sleep at 10 PM. He is living a very simple life. But he is a hard-working person.

He is an honest man and that’s why all the people around us believe him a lot. Everyone gives him respect and loves him. Our neighborhood is amazing. Everyone helps each other in need. My father is also very helpful and dedicated to the people.

Why My Father is a Hero?

I consider my father as a hero. There are so many reasons behind that. The first reason is he is the only person who makes money for the family . We are seven members of the family, but only he is supporting us financially.

We four siblings are students and he needs to spend a good amount of money for us every month. It’s not easy for him. But he always does that successfully. I can’t even imagine how hard working he is. He is a peaceful person who loves to live peacefully.

He never buys any expensive things for himself. He tries his best to make us happy. I feel lucky and great to become the son of him. I have never seen a person that much dedicated to his family.

His biggest dream is to make all of us educated. And we are dedicated to making his dream true. We have great bonding. He shares everything with me.

We all are having a good life because of his hard work. I always feel special about him and feel proud to have such an amazing dad. He is always super busy due to office work. But still, he finds time to play with me and take me out.

He is a movie lover. He loves watching old cinemas. When he gets some free time he starts watching them. The whole family goes to watch a movie in the theatre sometimes. He has some amazing hobbies and he is very passionate about all these things.

My Father is Different:

I can claim that my dad is different from others. I have some good reasons. When I was a kid, he started acting with me as a friend, and still, now we are the same. I think he has been able to keep that bonding between us strongly.

He is the only person who is earning in the family, but he never showed any ego or any anger to anyone. He is a soft-hearted person, but when he faces any challenges he can face that with lots of strength and courage. He was a great student in his student life and made himself successful by all his hard work.

My Father is My Hero:

He is a hero for me. I have loved to follow him since childhood. I feel great when I see my father and think about what he is doing. A couple of years ago, my village faced a huge flood. My father went there with a huge collection of food and medicine.

He worked there for almost a week and distributed them to villagers. He took the initiative on his own and worked very hard for that. I can remember, when he came back he was extremely tired. He loves to help people and work for society. He is connected with lots of social welfare groups too.

My Father as a Friend:

He is a good friend too. I can share all my things with him. From my childhood, I am sharing everything. And that has made everything easy between us. We don’t have any gap. He is always a smiling person and he loves to spend time with me.

It has made us closer. I also enjoy spending time with my dad. She shares different types of stories and moral things that help me to grow better. I have realized in my life that all of his words came true. That’s why I always obeyed him and I never regretted because of that.

Why Do I Like My Father?

There are so many reasons that are why I love him. First of all, he is my father and my best friend. He is the most important person in the family.

Whatever I am doing now is just because of him. He is a person with a smile and never a complaint. He supports everyone and gives the courage to fight against all odd things.

I love my father a lot. And it’s not possible to count the son’s love for his father. And I know my father also loves me a lot. I think he is the best dad ever.

essay about my hero father

ADVERTISEMENTS:

My Dad is my real hero because he is the most special person in my life. He is a very good athlete & an artist. He is a Civil Engineer by profession. At weekends he loves to play with me the whole day.

During weekdays we work hard & spend maximum time working at his office. He is amongst the top ranked employee of his company & has won many awards for the same. He tries his best to keep our family happy. He works hard to make money for our family. He loves me a lot & always tries to cheer me up whenever I am in a sad mood.

He has always taught me good values & not spoiling me by buying me all the things that I wanted. But at the same time he has gifted me many things that I always wish to have. My Dad has always tried his level best to make me a good human being. I am his only son.

He is very careful regarding what I eat. He always insists me to eat healthy stuff such as fruits and vegetables that are rich in vitamins and minerals. He is an extremely loving Dad. I always enjoy spending time with him and learn new things with him. He has taught me to swim.

Till date I have won many swimming championships. My Dad helps me in my studies too. He does not allow me to take tuitions instead he personally sits with me to get my problems solved. It is because of his grace I perform well in studies. My Dad is the most precious gift of God to me. He is a loving father and the most gracious person I have ever seen in my life. He wants me to become a good human being like him. That is why he always teaches me to differentiate between wrong & right.

Every day he takes out little time for me in the night to acknowledge my day to day activities & problems if any. He is my best friend. I can discuss everything with him without any hesitation. Things that I fail to reveal out to my close friends, I can easily discuss them with my Dad.

Whenever I need his help, he is always available for me. He is like a hero to me. He is a funny, cool, adventurous and smart human being. He loves to travel and that is why we both always go to long distant places (sometimes abroad) on vacations. I love to travel too & that is why vacations are always awaited as far as its Dad’s company. Apart from domestic cities till date we have travelled to San Francisco, Beijing, Toronto, New York & Sydney.

Dad says that he started visiting the globe when he was a college student. According to him his experience has helped him to broaden his horizons. This is the reason he started me quite early. He wants me to experience the world because he believes that travelling is an education in itself. When I was at the age of 10 I took my first flight to Sydney. I have learnt a lot of things under my Dad’s guidance which education fails to teach. The most important lesson that Dad has taught me is to be discipline & hard working in life. These 2 things are the key ingredients to achieve success in life.

Today I am just 16 years old & at this tender age Dad has taught me a lot of things that people at the age of 20 fails to understand. He has taught me what life is all about. He has showed me the way to achieve success. He has showed me the opportunities that exist in front of me. But at the same time he has left the decision up to me in terms of which path to choose. He is very confident that his efforts to make me a good human being will never go in vein. Seeing his confidence in me some day I want to make him proud. I thank God everyday for giving me such a loving and caring father. I also wish to see him in good health for the rest of my life.

My Hero Academia: Villains with a Point

The clashes between the heroes and villains in My Hero Academia are not only a show of strength. They're also clashes of ideals, and to protect the societal order. Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of this masterpiece, made sure to deliver a lineup of antagonists whose motivations are as complex as those of the protagonists they oppose.

Some of them are products of the failed society that the heroes try to uphold. Others were failed by their family, leading them down paths they would not originally take in an attempt to get revenge or make some sort of change in the world, even though it is not right for them to take matters into their own hands. With that in mind, here are some of the My Hero Academia villains who have a point.

My Hero Academia: 5 Quirks That Evolved Over Time

From gradual power boosts to major changes, these quirkshave adapted and changed to improve their users' abilities.

Jin Bubaigawara

A victim of his quirk.

Jin, popularly known as Twice, was forced into this life of crime by his quirk, which allows him to create duplicates of himself and anything else. He had opposing personalities that manifested when he made clones of himself due to his OSDD, which only stopped when he put on a mask. A certain conflict with his clones left him unsure if he was the original. This plunged him into an identity crisis that overhauled his personality and drove him to villainy.

Jin suffered an unfortunate life before becoming a villain. He lost his loved ones, his home, and his job. There was almost no way he could return to his normal life because of the multiple personalities rambling in his head. He took the League of Villains as his family, as they were the ones who took him in when he had no one else. He put himself on the line to protect Himiko Toga, which earned him the respect of Hawks, a high-ranking Pro Hero.

Ignored And Emotionally Abused By His Father

Dabi, originally known as Toya Todoroki, is a victim of the cruel upbringing that comes with being Endeavor’s son . Endeavor groomed Dabi from a young age, and filled his head with dreams of surpassing All Might and becoming the number one hero. Dabi took his training very seriously, and would not mind hurting and burning himself despite his father’s warnings. Following the birth of Shoto, who possessed the quirk he lacked, Endeavor began to ignore Dabi. Dabi then kept pushing himself past the safe limits and hurting himself in training every day, in hopes of earning his father’s praise and attention.

My Hero Academia: Dabi's Quirk, Explained

Dabi is one of the most powerful villains in My Hero Academia thanks to his powerful quirk, but how does it work?

Dabi eventually lost control after evolving his quirk and burning himself, which resulted in him being in a coma for three years. Discovering his father still did not care about him when he awoke broke him, and he rejected the name his father gave him. He then dedicated his life to being a cold villain with the aim of ruining his father’s name and putting him through all the suffering he had to go through as a child.

Shigaraki Tomura

Obssessed with tearing down the society that hurt him.

Like the majority of the villains in My Hero Academia , Shigaraki Tomura is the product of a failed society and, more specifically, a failed family. Tomura has no regard for human life, and this stems from the abuse he received from his father and his own loneliness as a child. The itch he gets is representative of an urge to kill someone or destroy something. Tomura's goal at the start of the series was to kill the Symbol of Justice, the Number One Hero of All Might. This is not because he has any personal grudges, but because he longs to see the society that failed him crumble. Killing All Might is a surefire way to achieve his goals.

The failed state of their society bred a lot of villains and ignored the suffering of a lot of children. The heroes seemed to only answer the calls of the privileged. After All Might’s retirement, Shigaraki decided that crumbling society would not be enough. He had grown to hate everything that breathed, and he decided that only the destruction and subsequent resurrection of societal order under him could serve as atonement for the pain he suffered.

Hero Killer Stain

Cleansing society of false heroes who are not pure of heart.

Hero Killer Stain is one of the first names to pop up in everyone’s minds when they think of an anime villain with an understandable motive. He appeared to be a cruel, manic killer who killed heroes for no reason, but he tried to cleanse society in his own twisted way. Stain was killing false heroes who became heroes because of fame, status, and money, and didn't care about saving people. He does not attack all heroes blindly. He was reluctant to go after Tenya Iida until the latter angered him and revealed that he was out for revenge, which Stain considers a selfish reason to use one’s quirk.

All Might and Deku are the only heroes to earn his praise due to their overwhelming selflessness and willingness to put themselves on the line for the safety of others. Stain is not a mindless killer, despite his extreme beliefs and actions. This is evidenced by the number of instances where he chose to assist the heroes and All Might, including in the Final War.

My Unsung Hero

'here's the money. buy a house': a kind family receives kindness in return.

Autumn Barnes

essay about my hero father

Joy Diaz says her family's trajectory was changed after a gift. Joy Diaz hide caption

This story is part of the My Unsung Hero series, from the Hidden Brain team. It features stories of people whose kindness left a lasting impression on someone else.

When Joy Diaz was growing up, her parents devoted themselves to humanitarian work. The family lived in Mexico City, and although they were anything but wealthy, they still found ways to help people who were living in extreme poverty.

"When I talk about extreme poverty, what I mean is these people lived inside the municipal garbage dump," Diaz said.

Diaz's parents did everything they could to support the residents of the dump. They started by bringing in teachers and doctors. Eventually, they were able to build a health clinic, a school, a dining hall and even install public showers.

"But while that was happening, we did not have a home. We were renters," Diaz said.

'I was broken and needed help': After her father died, a stranger stepped in

One day, years into their endeavors, a man showed up at Diaz's house. His name was Jack Bloxham, and he had worked with the Diaz family in the past to provide care for community members. He'd come all the way from Richmond, Virginia.

"He flew into Mexico City, hopped in a taxi, came to the house, saw my mom and just gave her this paper bag full of money, full of cash. And he said, 'For many years, I've been wanting to buy a house for you. So here's the money. Buy a house,'" Diaz remembered.

Diaz believes this act of kindness changed her life. Her family moved into a middle class neighborhood, and the money they saved on rent instead paid for college tuition. But the impact of Bloxham's generosity didn't end there.

An egg exploded in her face. The ride to the hospital made her feel safe

"It changed the trajectory of generations," Diaz explained. "Because today my children live in a middle class neighborhood, [and] because I am college educated I am able to have a better job than I could have had before."

Bloxham is now in his nineties. Diaz says she will always remember his kindness.

"I am forever grateful, Jack. Thank you."

Ktla reporter sam rubin's son pays emotional tribute to late dad on air, ktla reporter sam rubin son's tear-jerking on air tribute ... 'you'll always be my hero'.

Sam Rubin 's son paid tribute to his late father on the air just 3 days after his untimely death -- and it's heart-wrenching, to say the least ... because he got choked up several times.

Sitting beside his dad's KTLA colleagues Monday ... Colby Rubin held it together pretty well during a letter he read aloud to his dad ... but at times, needed a few seconds to collect himself before reflecting on his dad's profound impact on his life over the last 16 years.

Colby wasn't just speaking to the crowd ... the message was directly to Sam, making it all the more raw as he told SR how much he idolized him -- and how he'd always be his hero.

Colby goes on to say he owed who he was to his dad ... no doubt, making the realization that he wouldn't be there for his big life moments, such as his wedding, even more gut-wrenching when you hear him deliver this. Yeah, it's a tear-jerker for sure.

Colby made it clear in the time they had together, he experienced more of a father figure than some people do in their entire lives -- and also stressed the importance of hugging your loved ones every single day.

As we reported, the longtime entertainment reporter suffered a heart attack at his home Friday. After being rushed to UCLA West Hills, he went into full cardiac arrest and died.

Sam has been with KTLA since 1991 -- and he's been a mainstay in Southern California homes for decades, covering entertainment, movie, and TV news ... winning multiple Emmys along the way. He was 64.
