Bharathidasan University PhD Admission 2024 (March) Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates who have passed PG Degree under regular pattern in recognized University.
• 50% marks for SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layer) / Person with Disability
• 55% marks for all Other Candidates.
• Students who secure 50% marks in the qualifying entrance exam are eligible to apply for Ph.D.
• Candidates who are pursuing Final-year PG Course may also apply for this Qualifying Entrance Examination.
• The Pass Certificate (validity 5 years) will be issued only on production of attested copy of Cumulative Mark Statement ensuring minimum eligible percentage of marks in PG Degree.

Application Fee (Expected)

Selection process.

• The selection shall be based on only written test. The Written test (Qualification Entrance Test for Ph.D. programme) will be conducted commonly twice in a year for all candidates probably in the month of February and August.
• The selection will be done by the University Research Committee (URC) and the Eligibility Certificate will be issued for qualified candidates based on the requirement.
• The written test would comprise of multiple choice objective questions for 100 marks to examine the research aptitude, concept, intellectual ability and subject knowledge.
• Entrance Examination for Ph.D. program will be conducted via online mode.

Exam Date – 10-03-2024 at 11.00 AM

Online Entrance examination will consist of 50 multiple choice questions for 100 marks.

The main subject knowledge will be tested in case your specialization falls in the grouped subject titles.
