Kainat Shakeel

In the pursuit of a fulfilling life, the conception of happiness becomes consummate. What constitutes a happy life is private, varying from person to person. In this essay, we’ll explore my particular idea of a happy life, encompassing colorful angles that contribute to overall well-being.

Personal Fulfillment

One of the crucial constituents of a happy life is particular fulfillment. This involves pursuing heartstrings and interests that bring joy and satisfaction. Whether it’s a creative bid, a hobbyhorse, or achieving particular pretensions, these trials add depth and meaning to our lives.

Health and Well-being

Without good health, the pursuit of happiness becomes grueling. Physical and internal well-being form the foundation of a gratified life. Balancing work commitments with moments of relaxation and self-care is essential for long-term happiness.

Relationships

Meaningful connections with others play a vital part in a happy life. Nurturing family bonds, fostering Friendships, and engaging in social conditioning contribute to a sense of belonging and support.

” Happiness isn’t set up in effects, but in the uproariousness of meaningful connections and experiences .”

Financial stability.

While money does not buy happiness, fiscal stability provides a sense of security. Managing finances wisely and being aware of spending habits contribute to a stress-free and gratified life.

Work-life Balance

Finding an equilibrium between professional and particular life is pivotal. Job satisfaction and a healthy work-life balance ensure that work contributes appreciatively to overall happiness.

Positive Mindset

Cultivating a positive mindset is essential for navigating life’s ups and downs. Embracing sanguinity and adaptability allows individuals to face challenges with a formative station.

” True happiness is a state of mind, cultivated through positive studies and flexible spirit.”

Embracing a minimalist life can lead to a further meaningful actuality. Chancing joy in simplicity and detaching from materialistic hobbies contribute to a happy and gratified life.

” Simplify your life, amplify your joy. Happiness thrives in simplicity.”

Nonstop learning.

Intellectual growth and curiosity are vital for a fulfilling life. Embracing openings for nonstop learning and disquisition adds uproariousness to the mortal experience.

Nature and Serenity

Connecting with nature and chancing serenity in everyday moments are essential for inner peace. Appreciating the beauty of the world around us enhances overall well-being.

Rehearsing gratefulness for the present moment and admitting the positive aspects of life contribute to a sense of pleasure.

” Happiness is the art of changing beauty in the ordinary and joy in the unanticipated.”

Overcoming obstacles.

Life isn’t without challenges. Developing strategies for prostrating obstacles and cultivating adaptability are essential for maintaining happiness in the face of adversity.

” Cultivate a theater of gratefulness, and you will find that happiness blooms in a cornucopia.”

Time management.

Balancing time between colorful aspects of life is pivotal. Prioritizing conditioning that aligns with particular values ensures that time is spent on what truly matters.

” Celebrate the present, recognize the history, and look to the future with stopgap; this is the substance of a happy life.”

In conclusion, my idea of a happy life encompasses a holistic approach that includes particular fulfillment, health, connections, fiscal stability, work-life balance, a positive mindset, giving back, simplicity, nonstop learning, nature, gratefulness, prostrating obstacles, and effective time operation. It’s the harmonious integration of these rudiments that creates a life filled with joy and pleasure.

” A happy life is a reflection of the love and kindness you partake with the world.”

“The web of life is mingled yarn, good and ill together.” says Shakespeare.

Now this is quite true of our actual experience of life. We see that man was neither to be entirely happy nor was he made to mourn and be sad always. His life is a strange mixture of joy and sorrow. Pleasure and pain go together. Now withstanding this fact, we have also observed that ideal happiness has never been absent from the thought of philosophers and poets. Since ages, people have been striving hard to achieve total bliss and happiness.

Coming to my own idea of happy life. I would frankly admit that to me, happy life is not very idealistic. It is merely freedom from the petty cares and wants of this material world. I must have enough to support myself independently. There happiness consists in freedom to do as one likes, without being obstructed by poverty or forbidden by authority. That does not mean that I want boundless treasures. Possession of wealth is not conductive to happiness. It rather increases one’s worries and troubles. I should have just enough to meet my normal requirements.

Self-sufficiency in worldly things, being a pre-requisite. We also necessarily require a cheerful spirit and a good conscience to be happy in the real sense of the world. A port wrote:

“The happiness of humankind

Consists in rectitude of mind.”

This is true in all cases. One cannot attain peace of mind unless one has a clear conscience. I believe that unless one attains peace of mind by virtuous living, one cannot dream of leading a happy life.

Again. Life is chiefly measured by the duties performed. If we do all that duty calls us to do; if we do our best in all circumstances; it we do not magnify trifles and try to see things as they are; if we take advantages of the many blessings that surrounds us; if we confide in All Wise Providence, and have thankful hearts. As is rightly remarked;

“The busier you are, the happier you will be.”

Some sort of seclusions is also necessary for a happy life. A man who is entirely absorbed in the affairs of the world and has given himself up to the wild pursuits of life, cannot attain happiness of mind and body. This, however, should not lead you to conclude that by leaving the world altogether I want to become a recluse. A life of complete renunciation does not appeal to ma at all. Tasting all pure enjoyment of body and mind, I also want to avoid hundreds of troubles that vex daily life.

The tendency to laziness makes our lives miserable. I therefore think that in order to attain complete happiness. I must have some ideal to pursue. This would make my work cheerful and also keep me busy. My ideal would be the guiding motive in my life so that I may not only live happily but also usefully. In my pursuit of a particular ideal, I would realize the glories and beauties of heaven and the universe alike, which are own if we chose to have it so. This would also give me the power  over securing eternal peace of triumphing over pain and sorrow. Ideal provides without stint the main requisites of human happiness. It is rightly said that:

“Happiness walks on busy feet.”

I have laid much stress on spiritual rather than physical happiness. But I shall refrain from the wholesome pleasures of the flesh. They also serve their purpose and males man happy. But mental peace and freedom would be the chief source of my happiness. In conclusion, I must say that happiness so secured should not remain my personal possession, it would disseminate to others. I ought to do my best to be happy myself so as to carry sunlight and joy into the hearts of others wherever I go, I shall be pleasantly useful to others.

Essay on “My Idea of a Happy Life” Complete Essay for Class 10, Class 12 and Graduation and other classes.

My Idea of a Happy Life

When I think of my poverty I felt I would be most happy if I had enough wealth to speed. With money in my pocket, Imagine that I would be able to buy any pleasure in the world, command the service of people whom I may not care to know and become the master of all I survey. I look at the happy faces of people who ride in motor cars and imagine that as they possess wealth they have everything that the heart can wish for. My poverty seems ugly and shabby. How beautiful is wealth! How I wish I were wealthy!

But on a closer scrutiny, I find that money does not body everything. On the contrary too much of it spells disaster and ruin. I want money, but I do not want too much of it spells disaster and ruin. I want money, but I do not want too much of it. I want to be happy.

It takes all sorts of things to make life happy. I am in search of happiness. “What things would make you happy?” I ask myself.

I am in search I get confused. Then I give thought to the matter. Now I feel that I can supply a definite answer.

The first thing I would like to have is excellent health. Health will make it possible for me to enjoy other things in life. Wealth will be useless. It I lack the health which makes its enjoyment possible. I come across wealthy people who cannot enjoy wealth because they lack should health. Health is the source of every other kind of enjoyment in life.

Next in importance is wealth. Whatever we may say about the fleeting nature of wealth, wealth, can and does buy things. A rupee in my pocket means a great deal. I am the master of a certain number of people to the extent of one rupee. I can order them about and compel them to serve me. But let me tell you at the same time, that wealth is a means to an end and not an end in itself. I value it because it is a means towards making me happy.

I would not like to live alone. My happiness would be incomplete, if I have not a few friends who double my happiness. I want the goodwill of people, and I would feel small, if others left me alone. Loneliness I would never like. My wealth would buy me alone. Loneliness I would never like. My wealth would buy me many things, but it would not buy me the love of other. Love of others makes life enjoyable.

And lastly to complete my happiness, I would help those,  who are less fortunate than I am. They have a claim on me; and if my help is able to lessen their sufferings, it would go a long way to make my life happy.

This is my idea of a happy life. I want the goodwill of people, and I would feel small, if others left me alone. Loneliness I would never like. My wealth would buy me alone. Loneliness I would never like. It is an undeniable fact that happiness in life depends on the contented state of mind.

My Idea of a Happy Life

My idea of a happy life is quite different from other people’s idea. They crave for more wealth. They want to concentrate more power in their hands. They gauge their success in the form of bungalow, car, T.V. and V.C.R. Plenty of delicious and rich food is on the list of their luxuries. They lead a cosy and comfortable life. They do not work. Their forefathers have left plenty and to spare for them. They rest. They push a button and the comforts of life are there at their feet. For them, this is the end of life. This is the real pleasure of life. This is their idea of a gleeful (delightful) life. But my views are altogether unlike (different).

I want to lead a simple but busy life. I know an idle man’s brain is a devil’s workshop. I want to keep myself busy day and night. After all, what is this life? What is the purpose of our living longer? I do not measure life in terms of comforts and luxuries. I wish to spend a life which is full of work and more work, useful to others.

I want to live a life of selfless service. I want to die in my country. I want to serve my motherland heart and soul. I do not want anything in return for this noble sacrifice. I know that work is its own reward. There can be no better aim of life than this. People aver (assert) this is something utopian (ideally perfect but impracticable).

For a normal happy life, we must not soar sky-high. Let us be on firm ground. We are the creatures of this world. We live on this earth. Let us live a real life. Eat drink and be merry can be the objective of life for someone, but I want to be within my means. I will neither borrow nor lend. If ever I lend, I shall lend a helping hand. I shall wipe out tears &Om the eyes of the poor and the down-trodden.

I shall read and read. I shall increase my knowledge. I very well know that knowledge is power. It ensures a high place for us in the company of the learned and the wise. Let us strive hard to realize this idea of a peaceful happy life.

Essay On MY IDEA OF A HAPPY LIFE

Essay On MY IDEA OF A HAPPY LIFE

Introduction

We all wish to live a happy life . But few can tell how to get happiness in this world. Experience teaches us that unmixed happiness is not a thing of this world.

Value of money

In my opinion a happy life means the life which is free from cares and worries. This freedom from care cannot be got by plenty of money. That we can have by a habit of mind. Many people are found worring for small things. Many of us worry about the troubles of the future that have not come and may never come.

Money is a necessary thing but it is not the thing to make us happy. We see millionaires passing sleepless nights without any physical trouble. I want money so that I may run my life smoothly. More money I do not like to have.

I want health. A sick man can never be happy. His life is miserable and wishes to die rather than live. He cannot work to earn his bread and will have worries for future. A man with a sound health is happy even if he is poor. He works hard and sleeps soundly. He gets good appetite and takes delight in simple food. His work gives him joy. He is happy.

Contentment

I want to possess few things in this world. I know that any number of things cannot make a man happy. The more things a man has, the more he wishes to have. He is never satisfied. Midas was not happy with all his gold because he was not contented. Blacksmith is happy because he is con tented with his poor earning. Hence a happy man should be contented.

Honest life, love and duty

To be really happy, man should have a truthful and honest life. He should help his fellowmen in trouble and love them. Such a man should be loved and respected by others and he will be happy. A man who hates others and envies his neighbours, can never be happy. To be guided by love in all the actions is the key to happiness. We should love and fear God. We should have faith in Him and should pray to Him. Thus we should live and do our duty not for reward but because it is our duty.

Thus we see that a happy man is he who has just enough to eat and to feed others, who enjoys a sound health and is contented, who lives an honest and truthful life and who does his duty with faith in God and love for his fellowmen. Such is my idea of happy life.

Millionaire- a rich person, Physical- of the body, शारीरिक । Sound health- robust, अच्छा स्वास्थ्य Appetite- hunger, Contented- satisfied, Envies- feels jealous, ईर्ष्या करता है। Plenty- enough, अत्याधिक Worries- anxieties, चिन्ताएँ। Smoothly- unruffled, Possess- to keep, to own, Faith- belief, trust, Reward- compensation.

Essay on “my idea of a happy life” for students and children, best essay, paragraph, speech for class 7, 8, 9, 10, my idea of a happy life.

When I begin to think of my idea of a happy life, I think first of all of money — plenty of money for everything all the time. Money to buy a beautiful house for my parents or my brothers and sisters with every convenience and luxury, money to buy a fine motor car, all the clothes we could ever want, and as many possessions like transistors, bicycles, and modern appliances, as the heart could desire. money too, for foreign travel and for a first-class education. Then, I think, I could be happy. But, is this really the answer? It is true that the possession of money contributes to comfort and easy living, but money in itself cannot create happiness.

Let us look at some of the world’s richest people. Barbara Hutton, the Woolworth’s heiress, for example, was divorced several times and lived a most unhappy life. There are many other rich people, whose misery is much greater than that of those living with only enough money for the barest necessities of life.

The essentials, therefore, of a happy life do not lie in money. Indeed, very many of them are things that money can never purchase. Good health is one of them and the one that we value least until we are in danger of losing it. It is true that brave people who suffer from ill-health do surmount it and often find great happiness, but this needs great courage and all of them would admit that they would be happier with a healthy body and leading a normal life.

Like most of my fellowmen, I am a gregarious animal and therefore, love and human companionship are important factors in my idea of a happy life. Since a child, I have needed the love of my parents and the affection of my brothers and sisters. In a wider circle, the interests of my uncles and aunts and the companionship of my school friends have all contributed to my happiness. Now that I am older, I realize that I must find a loving girl to marry, who will share all my joys and sorrows, and who will provide me with congenial home life as a refuge from the storms and stresses of the world outside. My childhood friends are being substituted for adult companions in college and in clubs, but I am still surrounded by a wealth of friendship and love, which to me are essential for happiness.

I am now training to be a lawyer at our university. This subject has always interested me and since a child, my dream has been to become a solicitor and to return to my town to work and to help people there. Here again, it is essential to happiness to be trained to do an interesting, worthwhile job that absorbs all one’s working attention and provides an outlet for one’s abilities and energies.

I like sport of all kinds, particularly basketball and swimming, and my idea of a happy life would include time and opportunity for these pursuits. It would also include time to reading and for all my leisure activities and hobbies. Public service has always interested me, and so I would want to take some part in public life. What I actually do will, of course, depend on where I am living, but I shall certainly want to be an active member of my Residents’ Committee and my local church.

My faith too is important to me and therefore, it is essential for happiness that I should be able to live in a country, where the people walk in freedom to practice their own faiths. Singapore today, is a living example to the world, of this. People here, of many diverse cultures, live side by side in peace, each contributing to the culture of the rest. All are tolerated. This is not so in every country of the world, and when freedom of speech and of action is taken away, as it regrettably can be, then all hope of happiness goes with it.

It is said, and rightly so, that happiness is the most elusive and evasive thing of all, Indeed cynics have remarked that a man can only be truly happy when he is dead. The world would indeed be a miserable place if this were so, but fortunately, the majority of us find more happiness than unhappiness in our lives. The secret of happiness perhaps lies in wanting the right things first, in working hard, in giving more than in receiving, so that eventually, we are able to achieve it.

Essays About Happiness: 5 Essay Examples and 6 Writing Prompts

Being happy and content is essential to living a successful life. If you are writing essays about happiness, start by reading our helpful guide.

Whenever we feel positive emotions rushing through our heads, chances are we are feeling happy. Happiness is what you feel when you enter the house, the smell of your favorite food being cooked or when you finally save up enough money to buy something you’ve wanted. It is an undeniably magical feeling.

Happiness can do wonders for your productivity and well-being; when you are happy, you are more energetic, optimistic, and motivated. So it is, without a doubt, important. However, do not become caught up in trying to be happy, as this may lead to worse problems. Instead, allow yourself to feel your emotions; be authentic, even if that means feeling a little more negative.

5 Top Essay Examples

1. causes of happiness by otis curtis, 2. how to be happy by tara parker-pope, 3. reflections on ‘happiness’ by shahzada sultan.

  • 4.  Happiness is Overrated by John Gorman

5. Toxic positivity by Suhani Mahajan

6 prompts for essays about happiness, 1. why is it important to be happy, 2. what is happiness to you, 3. the role of material things in happiness, 4. how does happiness make you more productive, 5. is true happiness achievable, 6. happiness vs. truth.

“If you don’t feel good about yourself you will have a similarly negative attitude towards others and education is one way of having good self-esteem, as it helps you to live life successfully and happily. Education is one way of getting that dream job and education is an essential cog in the wheel to living comfortably and happily. One English survey that included over 15,000 participants revealed that 81 percent of people who had achieved a good level of education had a high level of life satisfaction.”

Based on personal beliefs and research, Curtis’ essay describes different contributing causes to people’s happiness. These include a loving, stable family and good health. Interestingly, there is a positive correlation between education level and happiness, as Curtis cites statistics showing that education leads to high self-esteem, which can make you happier.

“Socratic questioning is the process of challenging and changing irrational thoughts. Studies show that this method can reduce depression symptoms. The goal is to get you from a negative mindset (“I’m a failure.”) to a more positive one (“I’ve had a lot of success in my career. This is just one setback that doesn’t reflect on me. I can learn from it and be better.”)”

Parker-Pope writes about the different factors of happiness and how to practice mindfulness and positivity in this guide. She gives tips such as doing breathing exercises, moving around more, and spending time in places and with people that make you happy. Most importantly, however, she reminds readers that negative thoughts should not be repressed. Instead, we should accept them but challenge that mindset.

“Happiness is our choice of not leaving our mind and soul at the mercy of the sways of excitement. Happiness cannot eliminate sorrow, suffering, pain or death from the scheme of things, but it can help keep fear, anxiety, sadness, hopelessness, pessimism and other fathers of unhappiness at bay.”

Sultan discusses what happiness means to her personally. It provides an escape from all the dreariness and lousy news of daily life, not eliminating negative thoughts but keeping them at a distance, even just for a moment. She writes that to be happy; we should not base our happiness on the outcomes of our actions. We cannot control the world around us, so we should not link our happiness to it. If something doesn’t go our way, that is just how the world works. It is useless to be sad over what we cannot control.

4.   Happiness is Overrated by John Gorman

“Our souls do float across the sea of life, taking on water as they go, sinking ever so slightly — perhaps even imperceptibly — into despair. But our souls are not the bucket. Happiness itself is. And it’s the bucket we use to pour water out our souls and keep us afloat. What we really need is peace. Peace patches the holes in our souls and stops the leaking. Once we have peace, we will no longer need to seek happiness.”

In his essay, Gorman reflects on how he stopped trying to chase happiness and instead focused on finding peace in life. He writes that we are often so desperate looking for happiness that our lives become complicated, chaotic, and even depressing at times. He wants readers to do what they are passionate about and be their authentic selves; that way, they will find true happiness. You might also be interested in these essays about courage .

“That’s the mindset most of us have. Half of toxic positivity is just the suppression of 200% acceptable feelings such as anger, fear, sadness, confusion, and more. Any combination of such feelings is deemed “negative.” Honestly, mix ‘em up and serve them to me in a cocktail, eh? (Fine, fine, a mocktail. I reserve my right to one of those little umbrellas though.)

But by closing ourselves off to anything but positivity, we’re experiencing the same effects as being emotionally numb. Why are we doing this to ourselves?”

Mahajan writes about the phenomenon known as “toxic positivity” in which everyone is expected to be happy with their lives. It trivializes people’s misfortunes and sufferings, telling them to be happy with what they have instead. Mahajan opposes this, believing that everyone’s feelings are valid. She writes that it’s okay to be sad or angry at times, and the stigma around “negative feelings” should be erased. When we force ourselves to be happy, we may feel emotionally numb or even sad, the exact opposite of being happy.

Essays About Happiness: Why is it important to be happy?

Many would say that happiness aids you in many aspects of your life. Based on personal experience and research, discuss the importance of being happy. Give a few benefits or advantages of happiness. These can include physical, mental, and psychological benefits, as well as anything else you can think of.

Happiness means different things to different people and may come from various sources. In your essay, you can also explain how you define happiness. Reflect on this feeling and write about what makes you happy and why. Explain in detail for a more convincing essay; be sure to describe what you are writing about well.

Essays About Happiness: The role of material things in happiness

Happiness has a myriad of causes, many of which are material. Research the extent to which material possessions can make one happy, and write your essay about whether or not material things can truly make us happy. Consider the question, “Can money buy happiness?” Evaluate the extent to which it can or cannot, depending on your stance.

Happiness has often been associated with a higher level of productivity. In your essay, look into the link between these two. In particular, discuss the mental and chemical effects of happiness. Since this topic is rooted in research and statistics, vet your sources carefully: only use the most credible sources for an accurate essay.

In their essays, many, including Gorman and Mahajan, seem to hold a more critical view of happiness. Our world is full of suffering and despair, so some ask: “Can we truly be happy on this earth?” Reflect on this question and make the argument for your position. Be sure to provide evidence from your own experiences and those of others.

In dystopian stories, authorities often restrict people’s knowledge to keep them happy. We are seeing this even today, with some governments withholding crucial information to keep the population satisfied or stable. Write about whether you believe what they are doing is defensible or not, and provide evidence to support your point.

Our entire lives seems to be motivated by a search, most of us believe in and have an image of an ideal state we want to be, in which we believe we would be happier. Unfortunately, very few ever get to realize this state.

Idea of a Happy Life

Happiness is subjective, thus has no constant definition, everyone has their own rightful idea of what it means to be happy, this may be motivated by a religious/spiritual goal or a more mundane target, for many the concept of happiness invariably revolves around money.

Over the years many teachers and philosophers have examined this idea of happiness, teaching that the concept of happiness is mental, you do not need material to be happy, happiness is created rather than stumbled on. They teach us to look within ourselves and find happiness and when we do, we must nurture it to make it grow and give shade to the world.

But what does it mean to be happy?

How can we explain the feeling that comes over us, we are relaxed and filled with smiles, we see life positively and are filled with energy. Happiness is indeed a strange fellow, throughout my life, profound experiences with it has imprinted indelible lessons in me.

As a young boy from a middle income family, life was not necessarily hard but we did not always get everything we wanted. Although I was only a child of about 4 – 9 years, I felt satisfaction, I was happy and my family was happy. This was my first conscious experience with happiness; I can still remember how we sat around and shared jokes, everyone laughing heartily.

We had happiness, inexpensive and quick to summon. Happiness is about the meaning of the moment to you, it is about how much we value our experience at that moment, so as much as a person may find happiness in wealth another may find it without spending a dime. It is bought with the heart not physical money.

Another of my experiences with happiness came watching football match. The team we were all (at least a majority of us) supported scored a winning goal in a very competitive match, the cinema burst into screams, people from every corner of the room, shouting and celebrating with each other, completely letting go of attachments they clung on to moments earlier.

This experience was particularly important because the cinema was filled with groups of different religious affiliations, who did not see eye to eye, heated confrontations days earlier had put the town on the brink of battle. But here, in a chocked, smelly room, far, far, far away from all the splendid religious centres, they found it, the one thing that years in these splendid centres did not give them, peace.

Happiness momentarily brought sworn enemies to handshakes and hugs. I really understood then, the pettiness of some our most treasured stances. We are frequently blinded by the darkness as we dig through the tunnel of life; happiness is a spark in this tunnel, an opportunity for us to see our surroundings, progress, mistakes and the way forward.

The most successful and productive people in the world take advantage of this spark, adjusting themselves and finding motivation to dig on in this tunnel of life. My idea of a happy life is one in which we all learn to think as these productive and successful people do.

My idea of a happy life.

Category : Essays

Introduction.  We all wish to live a happy life. But few can fell how to get happiness in this world. Experience teaches us that unmixed happiness is not a thing of this world.

Value of money. In my opinion a happy life means that life which is free from cures and worries. This freedom from care cannot In- got by plenty of money. That we can have by a habit of mind. Many| people arc found worrying for small things. Many of us worry about the troubles of the future that have not come and may never come. Money is a necessary thing but it is not the thing to make us happy. We see millionaires passing sleepless nights without any physical trouble. I want money so that I may run my life smoothly. More money I do not like to have Health. I want health. A sick man cans never him happy. His life is miserable and wishes to die rather than live. He cannot work to earn his bread and will have worries for future. A man with a sound health is happy even if he is poor. He works hard and sleeps soundly. He gets good appetite and takes delight in simple food. His work gives him joy. He is happy.

Contentment. I want to possess few things in this world. I know that any number of things cannot make a man happy. The more 1 things a man has. The more he wishes to have. He is never satisfied. Midas was not happy with all his gold because he was not contented. Blacksmith is happy because he is contented with his poor earning. Hence a happy man should be contented.

Honest life, love and duty. To be really happy, man should have a truthful and honest life. He should help his fellowmen in trouble and love them. Such; i man should be loved and respected by others and he will be happy. A man who hates others and envies his neighbors, can never he happy. To he guided by love in all the actions is the key to happiness. We should love and fear God. We should have faith in Him and should pray to Him. Thus we should live and do our duty not for reward but because it is our duty.

Conclusion. Thus we see that a happy man is he who has just enough to cat and to feed others, who enjoys a sound health and is contented, who lives an honest and truthful Life. And who docs his duty with faith in God and love for his fellowmen. Such is my idea of happy life.

Happiness is something which we can’t describe in words it can only be felt from someone’s expression of a smile. Likewise, happiness is a signal or identification of good and prosperous life. Happiness Essay

Can Money Buy You Happiness?

Every day we see and meet people who look happy from the outside but deep down they are broken and are sad from the inside. For many people, money is the main cause of happiness or grief. But this is not right. Money can buy you food, luxurious house, healthy lifestyle servants, and many more facilities but money can’t buy you happiness.

And if money can buy happiness then the rich would be the happiest person on the earth. But, we see a contrary image of the rich as they are sad, fearful, anxious, stressed, and suffering from various problems.

In addition, they have money still they lack in social life with their family especially their wives and this is the main cause of divorce among them.

Also, due to money, they feel insecurity that everyone is after their money so to safeguard their money and them they hire security. While the condition of the poor is just the opposite. They do not have money but they are happy with and stress-free from these problems.

In addition, they take care of their wife and children and their divorce rate is also very low.

Happiness Comes from Within

As we now know that we can’t buy happiness with money and there is no other shortcut to happiness. It is something that you feel from within.

In addition, true happiness comes from within yourself. Happiness is basically a state of mind.

Moreover, it can only be achieved by being positive and avoiding any negative thought in mind. And if we look at the bright side of ourselves only then we can be happy.

Happiness in a Relationship

People nowadays are not satisfied with their relationship because of their differences and much other reason. But for being happy in a relationship we have to understand that there are some rules or mutual understanding that keeps a relationship healthy and happy.

Firstly, take care of yourself then your partner because if you yourself are not happy then how can you make your partner happy.

Secondly, for a happy and healthy relationship give you partner some time and space. In addition, try to understand their feeling and comfort level because if you don’t understand these things then you won’t be able to properly understand your partner.

Most importantly, take initiative and plan to go out with your partner and family. Besides, if they have plans then go with them.

To conclude, we can say that happiness can only be achieved by having positive thinking and enjoying life. Also, for being happy and keeping the people around us happy we have to develop a healthy relationship with them. Additionally, we also have to give them the proper time.

565 Words Short Essay on my idea of a happy life (free to read)

my idea of happy life essay with quotations

Life is not a bed of roses. There are more sorrows than joys in life, if someone thinks deeply about it and becomes upset, he can never be happy. We cannot ignore the bitter truths of life and can only search some moments of happiness to keep ourselves satisfied.

The idea of a happy life differs from man to man. True happiness is just a state of mind. It is no way connected with material glory and eminence. There are people who think that happiness is hidden in wealth.

These people are very much sure that the rich lot enjoys life to its fullest. They do what they wish with no worry at all. If this were true, kings and millionaires would be perfectly happy. They would then know no sorrow. But this is not the fact. They are hardly happy. Again there are people who find happiness in high rank and authority. This is also not true.

Whatever may be the concept of happiness one thing is clear that there is no one in this vast world who is satisfied with what he has. It is human nature to wish for more and more and this is the reason of all the miseries. Hence a life of contentment is essential for happiness. One would be satisfied with one’s present lot. There is no limit of worldly possessions.

ADVERTISEMENTS:

If some one wishes to have all type of luxury things, it well be the invitation of sorrow and nothing else. Here we can quote the words of Swami Ram Tirth, “Easiest way to the greatest happiness is the most faithful use of what you possess.” Our aim must not be acquiring more and more but keeping satisfied ourselves with what we have acquired.

We must always try to keep our mental state within limit. It is equally important to minimise our wants. Chirst, Buddha, Gandhi, all gave stress on the importance of voluntary renunciation of the worldly possessions to achieve true happiness the greater the simplicity of life, the greater the happiness.

Some people think good health is also very necessary for happiness. According to them a man with sound health is always happy. On the countrary one who loses his health loses everything.

Such a man craves for only good health so as to enjoy happy moments of his life. But all these are our illusions. The reality is that there is no such instrument by which we can find out that this man is happy and that man is unhappy.

Our happiness solely depends upon our mentality. If we feel that we are happy, then we are really happy otherwise not. There are people who enjoy life in its fullest even though he has little belongings just opposite there are people who never seem to be happy inspite of having much more.

I think real happiness buries behind one man’s acts. We must do the right thing and with no intention to harm anyone. We must not envy those people who have plenty of wealth.

Happiness is nowhere but is living in our heart. It is better to peep into our heart to get it rather than to search for it. We must keep oursleves contented and do our work honestly. An honest worker, who earns his living by useful toil, can hold up his head and respect himself and here lies true happiness.
