Parul university admission 2023 application form.

To apply for admission to the PU Vadodara, a candidate has to submit a duly filled-in application form along with the application fee. Follow given below steps to fill the application form:-

  • Candidates have to register on the PU official website for admission with a valid mobile number.
  • Login with a unique id and password sent to their registered mobile number.
  • Fill all the personal details such as Candidate's Name, DOB, Address, Email, etc.
  • Select the course as per the candidate's interests.  
  • Pay the Application Fee through Online mode via net-banking, credit card, debit card, etc, or offline mode by depositing the Application fee at any Branch of Bank of Baroda.
  • Submit the Application Form.

Parul University Admission 2023 Result

The Result of the Parul University Admission Test will be declared. Candidates can check their results through online mode using application number or date of birth. Candidates who successfully qualify for the examination or whose names will be present in the merit list, they will be called for counselling through call or mail.

Parul University Admission 2023 Counseling

Parul University Admission 2023 Counseling will be conducted after a few days of result declaration. It will be necessary for the candidates to appear in their counseling. Candidates will be shortlisted for admission as per their rank.

Parul University will also conduct a personal interview round. In case candidates will not be allotted any seats in the first round, then seats will be allotted in other rounds. Candidates who qualify interview round will be eligible for admission.

One of the premier institutes for design education , Parul Institute of Design, conducts an entrance exam for admission to the BDes programme. PID DAT 2023 or the PID Design Aptitude Test 2023 is a test curated to shortlist deserving candidates for admission. The PID DAT 2023 application form is out and the last date to submit the form is February 6, 2023. The application form has to be filled in an online mode. All aspirants who are willing to apply for BDes admission at Parul University  need to fill up and submit the PID DAT application form inorder to take admission in PID.

PID DAT is a combined form of three important stages including Design Aptitude Test, Portfolio, and personal interview round. Candidates who want to enrol to the Bachelor of Design courses offered by Parul Institute of Design must appear in all three stages to ensure their admission.

Before proceeding with the application process of PID DAT, an individual needs to satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed by the design institute. Enlisted below are the detailed eligibility criteria of PID DAT:

Candidates must have passed the 12th exam from a Statutory Examining Authority.

Applicants must have completed class 12th in any desired stream (Arts/ Science/ Commerce).

It is crucial to have cleared the qualifying exam with English as one of the subjects.

Marks acquired in any other entrance exam such as NATA , UCEED , etc. would not be taken into account during the selection of an individual in Parul University. There is no waiver for any of the three admission stages (DAT, portfolio, and personal interview) and it is mandatory to be a part of all of them in order to acquire BDes admission through PID DAT 2023.

Parul University releases the application form of PID DAT on the official website of Parul University. Provided below are the steps explaining how to apply for PID DAT 2023:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Parul University.

Step 2: Click on ‘Apply Now’.

PID DAT APplication Process

Step 3: Enter all the required credentials including the e-mail address, name, phone number, course name, state, city, etc.

Step 4: Click on the  ‘Apply’ button.

Step 5: A password will be forwarded to the registered email address and phone number.

Step 6: Log in using the registered credentials and complete filling-up the application form.

Step 7: Upload the required documents.

Step 8: Submit the application form by paying the application fee of INR 1,000 either through a Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking or through an offline mode.

PID DAT exam is likely to be held through an online mode and the exam pattern of the same has been summarised below:

The questions in PID DAT will be asked from various subjects including Static General Knowledge about Design, Current Affairs, Fashion and Industry Awareness, Reasoning, and Mathematics. Parul University does not release any specific syllabus for PID DAT 2023 so the aspirants are required to cover all the general information included in the aforementioned subjects.

Parul Institute of Design does not release an admit card for PID DAT 2023. Candidates will be forwarded their respective log-in credentials via Email/ SMS/ Call. They are required to use them to sit for the online DAT exam. The design exam will be held on the WAC (World Assessment Council ) online platform.

The result of PID DAT 2023 is released on the official website of Parul University. After a few days of the completion of the exam, students are required to log in with their registered credentials and check the score obtained in the design aptitude test.  Applicants who clear the written test will be shortlisted for further rounds of selection.

Candidates who qualify for the design aptitude test (PID DAT) will be asked to email their portfolios to the concerned authorities. After the completion of both rounds, a third stage i.e. a Personal Interview will be conducted.

Portfolio Evaluation

The objective of the portfolio evaluation is to assess the creative ability and innovative approach of the candidate. There is no fixed pattern for the submission of the portfolio. Students are just required to showcase their recent and best artwork/ designs/ projects to exam authorities. 

Personal Interview

After the completion of the design aptitude test and portfolio evaluation, the last round will be personal interaction with the candidate. The performance of the applicants will be evaluated based on their interpersonal abilities, academic background, skills, aptitude, and knowledge.

The final selection for BDes admission at Parul University will be done based on the overall performance of an individual in the PID DAT, portfolio evaluation, and personal interview rounds.

Doctoral Programmes (Full Time / Part Time)

Nirma University started Doctoral Programmes in the year 2003. The PhD Programmes offered in the University are by the Faculty of Technology & Engineering, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Management, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Architecture.

The Faculty of Doctoral Studies and Research is the co-ordinating faculty for the PhD programmes run by the constituent institutes of the University. The University offers Full-time and Part-Time PhD programmes. The admissions are scheduled annually in various PhD programmes, and the announcement in the newspaper/website is also published.

To encourage and help the meritorious students, the University provides different scholarships every year. The eligibility criteria and amount for awarding scholarships vary from institute to institute.

PhD Programme for Management (Full-Time) -->

Eligibility Criteria

  • A master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline from a recognised university with atleast 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade OR
  • A 4-year bachelor’s degree programme or equivalent in relevant discipline from a recognised university with atleast 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade OR
  • An MPhil degree from a recognised university with atleast 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.

Candidates appearing in the final year Degree examination can also apply, provided they furnish proof of meeting the minimum eligibility criteria at the time of joining the programme.

Application Procedure

Eligible candidates, who intend to take admission for PhD are required to apply in a prescribed online application form along with a non-refundable processing fee of Rs.1250/-. The payment should be made online by credit card/debit card/net banking.

Procedure for Admission

Candidates, who intend to take admission for PhD have to apply in a prescribed proforma. On the receipt of applications, an Entrance Test will be conducted for the eligible candidates irrespective of number of applications received, which will be followed by an interview by the Departmental Research Committee.

The selection criterion for the admission in PhD programmes are as under:

  • The Entrance Test shall be conducted for eligible candidates wherein the qualifying marks will be 50%. The syllabus of the Entrance Test shall consist of 50% of research methodology and 50% shall be subject specific. (The detailed syllabus is available on the website)
  • The list of candidates clearing the entrance test (50%) shall be declared on the notice board/ website of the University.
  • An interview/viva-voce to be organised by the University where the candidates are required to discuss their research interest/area through a presentation before Department Research Committee specified under R.Ph.D. 2.3.
  • The candidates who qualify the UGC-NET (Including JRF) UGC-CSIR NET (Including JRF) / GATE / GPAT with a valid score in terms of cut-off marks and duration, shall be exempted from appearing in the entrance test and deemed to be qualified for personal interview.

Candidates are selected based on the following criteria :

The interview/viva-voce shall also consider the following aspects, viz. whether:

  • the candidate possesses the competence for the proposed research;
  • the research work can be suitably undertaken at the Institution;
  • the proposed area of research can contribute to new/additional knowledge.
  • An interview/viva-voce to be organised by the University when the candidates are required to discuss their research interest/area through a presentation before Department Research Committee specified under R.Ph.D 3.3.
  • The final selection will be based on following criteria:Weightage of 70% to the entrance test and weightage of 30% to the performance in the interview/ viva-voce.

(The candidates who are exempted from Written/Entrance Test will be awarded the highest marks scored by the candidates, who appear in the Written/Entrance Test conducted by Nirma University for that particular discipline.)

On the recommendation of the Departmental Research Committee and on the approval of the Dean, Faculty of Doctoral Studies & Research, a list of the selected candidates will be displayed on the notice board / website of the University. However, the final admission will be given after getting eligibility as per the provisions of the relevant regulations of the University.

The allocation of a Research Supervisor for a selected research scholar shall be decided by the Department Research Committee depending on the number of scholars per Research Supervisor, the available specialisation among the Supervisors and research interests of the scholars as indicated by them at the time of interview/viva voce.

Publication of Papers

The research scholar has to publish at least one research paper in refereed journal and make two paper presentations in reputed national/international conferences/seminars or the research scholar has to publish at least two research paper in refereed journal and make one paper presentations in reputed national/international conferences/seminars before the submission of the thesis for evaluation and produce evidence for the same in the form of presentation certificates and/or reprints

Provided further that, such publication as mentioned above should be in the refereed journal indexed in the Web of Science / SCOPUS / ABDC / EBSCO.

  • The candidates who have qualified NET/SET/GATE/GPAT are exempted from the entrance exam but are required to fill this form to attend the interview.

Documents Required

All Registered Candidates are requested to upload the below documents in the Admission Portal:

  • Class X Marksheet & Certificate.
  • Class XII Marksheet & Certificate (In Relevant Stream)
  • Identity Proof issued by the Government (Preferably Aadhar Card)
  • Graduation mark sheet & certificate (in the relevant stream and subject)
  • Masters degree certificate and mark sheet in relevant subject with minimum 55% mark overall. A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission time to time. The Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation of the Medical Faculty – the first department in the USSR, was opened on September 1, 1968 at the first Moscow Medical Institute. THEM. Sechenov on the basis of the order of the Minister of Health of the USSR Academician B. V. Petrovsky of December 20, 1966.

The department was opened on the basis of the 67th Moscow City Clinical Hospital, where one of the bases of the department is currently located. Professor Olga Danilovna Kolyutskaya was elected the first head of the department, being one of the country’s leading specialists and the permanent chairman of the scientific society of anesthesiologists and resuscitators of the Russian Federation for 22 years. She headed the department since 1968. on 1987 The priority scientific directions of the department during this period were: development of neuroleptanalgesia methods, methods of intravenous anesthesia, intensive therapy of comatose states, methods of general and craniocerebral hypothermia, features of anesthesia in acute massive blood loss.

Since 1987 till 1999 The department was headed by Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Corresponding Member. RANS, Professor Olga Anatolyevna Dolina, who made a significant contribution to the development and formation of anesthesiology and resuscitation in our country. In 1998, the department team under the guidance of O. Dolina published a textbook “Anesthesiology and Resuscitation” for senior students.

Since 1999 in 2009, the head of the department was the laureate of the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation, MD, Professor Nikolai Markovich Fedorovskiy, a graduate of the department and one of its first employees. The priority areas of scientific research at this time were the development of active detoxification methods (plasma exchange, ultra hemodyfiltration, indirect electrochemical blood oxidation, etc.) in the intensive care complex of patients with endotoxicosis of various origins (peritonitis, pancreatonecrosis, diabetic coma, etc.). The study of the combined use of non-opioid drugs, the possibility of optimizing hemodynamics and gas exchange in patients with craniocerebral and combined trauma continued, and optimal methods of postoperative analgesia were developed. The staff of the department prepared the second edition of the textbook “Anesthesiology and Resuscitation”, “Guide to practical exercises in anesthesiology, resuscitation and intensive therapy”, a monograph by N.M. Fedorovsky “Indirect electrochemical detoxification”. For the clinical development of the direction – “electrochemical methods of detoxification in medicine” – Professor Fedorovsky N.M. in 1996 Awarded the title of laureate of the Government of the Russian Federation Award (as part of the research group of the Research Institute of Chemical Industry).

Since 2009, the department is headed by a professor, MD. Alexey Mikhailovich Ovechkin. Research conducted at the department is currently devoted to:

the development of modern methods of postoperative analgesia without the use of opioid analgesics (in particular, using drugs that affect the NMDA-receptor complex), predicting the timing and quality of postoperative rehabilitation of patients in thoracic oncology, search for optimal options for balanced neuroaxial anesthesia in order to minimize the effect on hemodynamics in elderly and old patients, the development of optimal antibiotic therapy regimens for nosocomial infections in patients with severe traumatic brain injury and associated trauma comparative evaluation of regional methods of perioperative analgesia in patients with diabetes mellitus.

The staff of the department successfully continues the traditions of the school of anaesthesiologists and resuscitation specialists formed in the senior medical school of Russia, developing them at the modern level, using new technologies and the latest achievements of our specialty.

Education of students of the 5th and 6th courses is carried out according to the work program, built on the basis of the “qualification characteristics of the graduate” – the State educational standard of higher professional education. The priority of studying the discipline is mainly given to the study and acquisition of practical skills of resuscitation and methods of intensive therapy of critical conditions.

The training of anesthesiology and resuscitation specialists is carried out by the department as part of postgraduate education – two-year full-time clinical residency and three-year postgraduate studies in paid and budgetary forms of education.
