What separates the consultants who succeed in Oriflame and those that don’t succeed are a few key factors. In the paragraphs below, I will share some of my favorite tips on how to succeed in Oriflame. Let’s get started.

How to Succeed in Oriflame

# 1: have a game-plan.

Whether it’s Oriflame, or any other type of business, you need a simple game-plan. This should include a 1 or 2 page WRITTEN business plan and marketing plan. You should identify what makes YOU different, why people should do business with you and not someone else, how and where you will find customers, your business goals, etc. Put some serious thought into your game-plan. Spend a few hours and draft up your written game-plan. It can potentially save you a lot of time, money and frustration.

# 2: Create a Solid Daily Routine

To succeed in Oriflame, you need to master your time. Time management is key, especially if you are doing the business part-time.

If you can work a job you hate for 8-10 hours per day, you can easily set aside one hour per day to grow your Oriflame business.

Plan out your work week. Every Sunday night, take 30-minutes and plan out your week. Schedule in your family time, church activities, hobbies, date night, etc. After you do that, find one hour each day to grow your Oriflame business . Write down what hours you will work your business each day and write down what activities you will do on those days.

Remember, your daily routine ultimately determines your success or failure.

# 3: Develop Product Knowledge

It’s important that you are a product of the product. You should use as many Oriflame products as possible so you have a basic understanding of the features and benefits of each product. You do not need to become a product expert, but you must have a GOOD STORY about each product that you can share with others. This will really shine through when you are talking with your prospects. Facts tell, but stories sell.

# 4: Learn How to Sell & Close

Selling is an art-form. Although 95% or more of the population is scared of the word “sales” we are all salespeople. We all sell our ideas an influence every single day of our lives. If you convinced someone to marry you, you are the best salesperson in the world.

Read some books on selling and closing. Take some classes on it. Attend your company events. Talk with your successful mentor and get some closing tips. And always ASK for the sale when you are talking with your prospects.

# 5: Follow a System

Businesses that are people dependent eventually fail or max out. Businesses that are systems dependent are the ones that succeed.

You need some type of system for your Oriflame business. You need a system to generate leads , train your new people, manage your time, etc. Start out by using your coach’s system. As you learn and progress, put your touch to it so it works for you.

# 6: Figure Out Your Natural Talents and Abilities

I wish I would have learned this lesson much sooner in my MLM Career. Each one of us is different. Some of us are introverts. Others are more gifted with gab. Some folks are internet savvy. Others are not.

Make a list of things you are NATURALLY good at, and enjoy, and figure out ways you can use those skills and talents to succeed in Oriflame.

You could do the same thing that your successful coach does, but it does NOT mean you will get the same results. Why? Because the two of you are different. Figure out what works for you and help each person you bring into the business identify their own talents and abilities .

# 7: Work with a Successful Mentor

Why reinvent the wheel? If you want to succeed in Oriflame, one of the best things you can do is find someone who has achieved success in the business, and follow their lead. This will really shorten your learning curve. After all, you don’t know what you don’t know. Run your “good ideas” by a proven mentor and you can avoid many dumb mistakes you might do otherwise.

# 8: Act AS IF You Invested $1 Million to Get Started

This should have been tip # 1 if you want to succeed in Oriflame. One of the biggest issues I see in the MLM Industry is that most people do not take their business seriously. Why? Because they don’t have much money invested in it.

It’s easy to put your Oriflame business on the back burner and let life get in the way BECAUSE you don’t have much money invested. If you had invested a large sum of money, you would not procrastinate or make excuses.

What you should be doing is ACTING AS IF you invested millions of dollars in your Oriflame business. If you adopted that mindset, you would be much more serious about the business and you would do the things you know you should be doing even when you don’t feel like doing it.

# 9: Master Lead Generation

Show me someone who can generate and endless supply of fresh leads and I will show you someone who can succeed in Oriflame. Find a few ways to get leads so you never run out of people to talk to. It’s best to start with your warm market , but after that the sky is the limit.

You can ask for referrals, buy leads, leverage social media, do home parties, post YouTube videos, have fundraisers, or hundreds of other things. Just find one or two lead generation strategies that work for you.

# 10: Have Fun

You will never succeed in Oriflame, or any other home-based business , if you don’t enjoy it. Make the business fun . If you aren’t having fun you are doing it wrong. The business should be a labor of love. This is one of the reasons using your own talents and abilities is so important. Take your business seriously, but don’t take yourself too seriously.

I like the part where u said we should have fun on the business, as in make the business ur own and enjoy itself. I also like the part where u said we should leverage social media, do house parties and you tube video, that’s a good way of getting to the population.

Yes, if you aren’t having fun in your Oriflame business, you are doing it wrong. Take your business seriously, but don’t take yourself too seriously. What I suggest each person does is figure out their natural talents and abilities and find a way to leverage those talents to build your Oriflame business.

If you’re using recruiting and retailing strategies that you are uncomfortable with, you won’t stick with it, and you definitely won’t have fun.

Social media can be a great way to grow your Oriflame business, if you do it the right way. I suggest you watch what the top leaders in your company do. What they do works, so it’s worth modeling what they do. You could also buy a course on social media marketing and apply what you learn in your Oriflame business.

Home parties and YouTube videos are also great strategies. Once again, do what you are comfortable doing, and you will probably do well with it.

Oriflame does have some high quality products at reasonable prices. This could be one of those moments when some would say the product sells itself, but the truth is: it doesn’t. Just because you have a great product doesn’t mean you still don’t have to work to gain sales. You must be willing to work the business at least 1-2 hours per day. By doing so, you can gain customers and a down line.

I agree with Chuck in that you need a written business plan. By writing it down, you will be more apt to follow it. Secondly, use the products yourself. When you have visitors to your home, it is a great way to lead in to the opportunity when you use the products.

I was a customer of Oriflame while I was deployed overseas. I really loved the products.

It’s true what you said about using competitor’s products. If you are trying to sell me Mary Kay and your handbag is full of M.A.C. Cosmetics, then I will not take you seriously and buy from you. I’m going to think you’re not confident enough the product you’re selling and immediately your credibility is shot. You want potential customers and distributors to trust you and believe in your product or service like you do.

If you’re trying to sell Oriflame products and you don’t even use them yourself, it won’t work. People will sense it.

You don’t have to use or love every product, but you need to use and love SOME of the Oriflame products.

I would never intentionally do business with someone who didn’t even believe in what they are selling me. Your prospects feel the same way.
