Vellore Institute of Technology Research Entrance Examination (VITREE) is conducted for admission to various Ph.D./Direct Ph.D. programmes in VIT group of Institutions. VITREE - July 2024 session will be conducted on 05 th May 2024 (Based on election date, there is a possibility that the exam date might be subject to change only on the coinciding locations) in 59 cities across India. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours. All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions and one mark for right and '0' mark for the wrong answer. VIT Research Entrance Examination. VITREE 2024 Exam

VITREE 2024 Exam : Vellore Institute of Technology Research Entrance Examination (VITREE) is conducted for admission to various Ph.D./Direct Ph.D. programmes in VIT group of Institutions. – January 2024 session will be conducted on 10th December 2023 in 33 cities across India.

All About GATE 2024 Exam

The duration of the examination will be 2 hours. All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions and one mark for right and ‘0’ mark for the wrong answer.

For Direct PhD in Engineering / Technology: Graduates must have an outstanding academic record in their Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology is eligible to apply. A minimum of 75% marks or a CGPA of 7.5 is mandatory on a 10- point scale.

Direct Ph.D: Selection based on the performance in the VITREE – January 2024 score, B.E. / B.Tech degree marks, research proposal and personal interview. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed, shall appear for VITREE – January 2024, a two-hour Computer-Based Test (CBT). VITREE will be conducted on 10th December 2023. The question paper will have 100 MCQs (Technical – 80 questions; English communication skills – 20 questions). Candidates may choose their venue and the campus where they wish to pursue their Ph.D. Change of Campus, Venue, Date of Entrance Exam, Interview and specialization will not be permitted.

The School consists of four departments namely Biotechnology, Integrative Biology, Bio-Sciences, and Bio-Medical Sciences, headed by well-trained professors. In addition, SBST consists of three major centers, Centre for Bio Separation Technology (CBST), Center for Biomedical Research (CBMR) and Centre for Nanobiotechnology (CNBT) with dedicated faculty members to ignite young minds. The School offers two undergraduate (B.Sc. Catering and Hotel Management /B.Tech Biotechnology) and five Postgraduate (M.Sc. and M. Tech.) programme. It also offers M.Tech (Res) and Ph.D. programme.

The other significant priorities include developing entrepreneurship skills and grooming students to become future scientists for the improvement of humanity. Our efforts are strengthened by collaboration with National, International Universities and multinational companies. Visiting scientists and eminent speakers serve as an excellent resource for the construction of knowledge. Healthy interactions with academia, industrial personnel and clinicians are arranged to encourage young minds to create novel ideas. Consultancy research and commercialization of products at the university are undertaken as a part of the programme.

The School has taken up research programme in the fields of Microbiology, Medical Genetics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics and other branches of Biomedical Sciences, thus, grown as a major center of higher education and research in India. The Ph.D. programme at VIT-AP admits bright students to carry out research in engineering, basic sciences, humanities and management disciplines. • Internal Full Time: A candidate who wishes to work for Ph.D. / Integrated Ph.D. degree on full time basis (including project staff working in sponsored projects being carried out at VIT) should apply in the prescribed form on or before the specified date.

Admission Information for Liberty’s Doctorate in Exercise Science

Admission requirements.

• A non-refundable, non-transferable $50 application fee will be posted on the current application upon enrollment (waived for qualifying service members, veterans, and military spouses – documentation verifying military status is required) .
• Send official college transcripts (mailed as sealed, unopened copies or sent via a direct electronic transcript system). A regionally or nationally accredited master’s degree with at least a 3.0 GPA is required for admission in good standing.
• Applicants whose native language is other than English must submit official scores for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or an approved alternative assessment. For information on alternative assessments or TOEFL waivers, please call Admissions or view the official International Admissions policy .

Preliminary Acceptance

If you are sending in a preliminary transcript for acceptance, you must:

• Be in your final term and planning to start your doctoral degree after the last day of class for your master’s degree.
• Complete a Master’s Self-Certification Form confirming your completion date. You may download the form from the Forms and Downloads page or contact an admissions counselor to submit the form on your behalf.
• Submit an official transcript to confirm that you are in your final term. The preliminary transcript must show that you are within 6 credit hours of completion for a 30-48 credit hour master’s degree or within 9 credit hours of completion for a 49+ credit hour master’s degree.
• Send in an additional, final official transcript with a conferral date on it by the end of your first semester of enrollment in the new doctoral degree.
