ఇద్దరూ ఆ ఎలుగును చంపింది తానంటే తానేనని తగువుకి దిగుతారు. మాటలు కాస్తా యుద్ధానికి దారితీస్తుంది. అర్జునుడు ఎంత గొప్పవీరుడయినా శివుడి ప్రతాపం ముందు తట్టుకోలేక బాగా ఆలసిపోతాడు. అప్పుడు భగవంతుని అనుగ్రహం పొందడానికి మట్టితో శివలింగమును తయారు చేసి పూజిస్తాడు. తాను శివలింగము మీద వేస్తున్న పూలు వేటగాని మీద పడుతుండటం గమనించి, సాక్షాత్తూ శివుడే ఆ వేటగాడని గుర్తిస్తాడు. అప్పుడు శివుడు తన స్వరూపంలో ప్రత్యక్షమై, అర్జునుడు కోరుకునే పాశుపతాస్త్రమును ప్రసాదిస్తాడు. ఆ అద్భుత క్షణాలకు గుర్తుగా ఇంద్రకీలాద్రిపై విజయేశ్వర స్వామి వారి గుడిని అర్జునుడు ప్రతిష్ఠించాడని ప్రతీతి. ఇంద్రకీలాద్రిపై బోలెడన్ని రాతి గుడులు ఉండేవి. కాలక్రమంలో అవి శిథిలమైపోయాయి. రాళ్ళ కోసం క్వారీలలో తవ్వకాలు జరుపుతున్నప్పుడు అక్కడ కొన్ని రాతి గుడులు బయటపడ్డాయి. వాటిని భద్రపరిచారు.

Vijayawada Floods : భారీ వర్షాలకు విజయవాడ అస్తవ్యస్తం అయ్యింది. వరద నీరు ముంచెత్తడంతో ప్రజలు తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందులు పడుతున్నారు. గత 30 ఏళ్లలో ఎప్పుడూ లేని విధంగా విజయవాడలో రికార్డ్ వర్షపాతం నమోదైంది. బుడమేరు పొంగడంతో పలు కాలనీలు నీట మునిగాయి.

Vijayawada Floods : గత రెండు రోజులు కురుస్తోన్న భారీ వర్షాల కు విజయవాడ అతలాకుతలం అయ్యింది. నగరంలో రికార్డు స్థాయిలో వర్షపాతం నమోదైంది. నిన్న ఒక్క రోజే 29 సెంటీ మీటర్ల వర్షపాతం నమోదైందని వాతావరణ శాఖ తెలిపింది. దీంతో 30 ఏళ్ల రికార్డు బద్దలైంది. భారీ వర్షాలకు నగర జీవనం అస్తవ్యస్తం అయ్యింది. కాలనీలు, ఇళ్లలోకి నీరు చేరి ప్రజలు తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందులు పడుతున్నారు. పలు చోట్ల కొండ చరియలు విరిగిపడ్డాయి. విద్యుత్ సరఫరా నిలిచిపోయింది. బాధితులు సాయం కోసం ఎదురుచూస్తున్నారు. విజయవాడను వరద నీరు ముంచెత్తింది. బుడమేరు ఉప్పొంగుతోంది. దీంతో బడమేరు 11 గేట్లు ఎత్తివేశారు. కవులూరు వద్ద బుడమేరు కట్ట తెగి వరదనీరు కాలనీల్లోకి ప్రవేశిస్తుంది.

విజయవాడ నగరంలో రికార్డు స్థాయిలో వర్షం కురిసింది. దీంతో 30 ఏళ్ల రికార్డు బద్దలైంది. చరిత్రలో ఎన్నడూ లేనంతగా.. ఒకేరోజు(శనివారం) 29 సెంటి మీటర్ల వర్షపాతం నమోదైంది. శుక్రవారం నుంచి విజయవాడలో కుండపోత వర్షం కురుస్తూనే ఉంది. అనేక కాలనీల్లో నాలుగు అడుగుల మేర నీరు నిలిచింది. ఆటోనగర్ నుంచి బెంజి సర్కిల్‌ వరకు వర్షపు నీరు నిలిచింది. దీంతో వాహనాల రాకపోకలకు తీవ్ర అంతరాయం ఏర్పడింది. ఆదివారం కూడా బెజవాడలో భారీ వర్షాలు కురుస్తున్నాయి. దీంతో బెజవాడ గజగజ వణికిపోతోంది.
