The Balancing Act

It is important to note that a child’s growth and development depend on a wide range of factors, including education and extracurricular activities. After-school programs can greatly enhance the process of acquisition of skills and knowledge among children. After-school programs’ benefits include a significant improvement in health, enhancement of academic and non-academic competencies, strengthening of emotional and social learning capabilities, and creation of positive inner perception.

The first major benefit of after-school programs is an improvement of children’s health through physical activities. It is stated that such an environment can deliver “curriculum-based programming that can afford children the opportunity to accumulate over half of their daily recommended minutes of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity” (Beighle et al., 2010, p. 30). In other words, one such program ensures that even the most inactive children are exposed to the necessary dosage of physical activity each day. In addition, it can complement a school’s curriculum, enabling a more multifaceted approach toward health and fitness. The result is the fact that children are more protected from developing obesity and related illnesses, such as cardiovascular diseases (Beighle et al., 2010). Thus, children’s health and well-being can be greatly enhanced with the use of after-school programs.

The second critical benefit is the development of both academic and non-academic skills. These include “musical skills, responsibility/discipline, self-efficacy, empowerment, social competence, and family bonding” (Whitson et al., 2019, p. 426). Among these skills, disciple and responsible behavior should be highlighted because these qualities can determine a child’s success in many other as well as future endeavors. It is reported that “children who attended the program more than three times per week were rated higher on responsibility/discipline than those who attended less” (Whitson et al., 2019, p. 426). In other words, after-school programs make children more in control of their lives by becoming more socially competent and self-reliant, which empowers them to work toward meaningful achievements.

The third vital benefit of after-school programs for children is the development of emotional and social learning capabilities. These include “self-awareness and relationship skills are predictors of academic success, overall well-being, and avoidance of problematic behaviors” (Wright et al., 2020, p. 125). There is a strong protective element to after-school programs since they occupy children with healthy activities and prevent them from engaging in destructive or harmful ones. A social circle formed during such a program is also beneficial because children are collectively challenged and stimulated, which translates to a greater development of social skills and emotional awareness, such as empathy.

The fourth major benefit of after-school programs revolves around a child’s inner perception and positive outlook. It is reported that both frequency and intensity of instructions provided by instructors determine the extent to which an activity will be beneficial (Hopkins et al., 2017). Thus, more frequent and highly engaging after-school programs will be more likely to result in the greatest developmental improvement among children. The multifaceted benefits include “increased learning opportunities, perceived benefits of discipline, perseverance, positive attitude, and hard work. Instructional challenges included low attendance, curricular balance, and teacher collaboration” (Hopkins et al., 2017, p. 239). Therefore, children need to adhere to the schedule of after-school programs and be involved in the process.

In conclusion, after-school programs help children with their individual growth and skills by improving their health, academic and non-academic competencies, emotional and social learning capabilities, and inner perception. Physical exercises promote better well-being and protect children from various diseases. Academic and non-academic competencies are complementarily developed, with discipline and responsibility as the most critical. How to Build an After School Routine That Works For Everyone: 6 Tips For Parents

Every kid is different. But overall, the ideal routine offers a chance to be creative, make choices, and play. They also might need a sandwich.

The start of school means a regular schedule returns, with kids out of the house until the afternoon. Then comes a conflict, because they come home from their “work”, where they have to behave and fit in with their peers, and they’re spent. But your day isn’t over. You still need to get stuff done and you have a simple wish. “You want them to hold on a little longer,” says Yael Schonbrun , psychologist in Newton, Massachusetts.

One thing: They can’t hold out. You could put them in front of a screen but you know that’s not the most productive or healthiest approach. What they need is structure, an after school routine that is recurring and comfortable but flexible enough to not feel rigid. “It gives children a sense of comfort and a context to regulate their own behaviors,” says Jill Trumbell , assistant professor of human development and family studies at University of New Hampshire.

The good news is that you don’t need an every-minute structure and there’s no requirement for what makes for a great after school schedule for kids. You know your kids and what they like and need, which can change regularly. Overall, however, they do well with a chance to be creative, make choices and play, and some of that has to be with you. They also might need a sandwich.

Here are some things to consider when creating an after school routine for kids.

1. Make Time for Small Talk and Snacks

It’s good to ask about your child’s day, but kids might not want to answer as soon as they get home. They need to decompress by flopping on the couch or going into their rooms or doing something else. The goal of the after school routine is to help them reset, so before you do anything, “Start with a pause,” Schonbrun says.

After that, feed them. They’re hungry from the physical and mental energy they’ve exerted and/or because they haven’t eaten, says Emily Edlynn , licensed psychologist in Oak Park, Illinois. Lunch and snack times aren’t always long enough. They might not feel comfortable eating in front of others, and what you pack might not be too sticky or too chewy. A check of their lunch boxes can provide good feedback.

2. Provide a Few Activity Choices…

As for the actual after school plans, get your child’s input and then winnow down the options. “Too many choices and they get indecisive,” Edlynn notes. But whenever possible, let them pick. This gives them a freedom and control that they don’t have at school. Make activities and supplies accessible, and for kids who can’t read, make the lists visual and explain that, “When you’re not sure what to do, look at the yellow paper on the refrigerator.” With siblings, you can put choices into a hat and let them alternate so everyone gets a say and no one dominates, Trumbell suggests.

3. …But Remain Flexible

Structure is good, but the Cardboard Box Rule always looms, where something simple and unexpected becomes the activity. No, it wasn’t the plan, but it is the plan. Get out of the way and enjoy it for however long it lasts. If your kids are working and creating together, even better. As Edlynn says, “fifteen minutes of harmonious sibling play is a success.”

The flip side is that the spontaneity can never be scheduled or repeated. It just happens and the hard part is to give up control and play a game of How’s This Gonna Play Out? What usually takes place is that your kids will work out their rules and consequences. It won’t be tussle-free, but there’s a long-term payoff. “If we trust them, they feel confident in themselves that they can figure out what they need,” she says.

4. You Need to Be Involved a Little

Yes, you have meals to prep and assignments of your own to handle. But your kids need time with you at some point during the after school routine. Trumbell notes that it’s more about quality time than a specific quantity. Kids can see when you’re distracted and they can feel complete attention as well. When you do the latter, even if it’s 10 minutes, the effect is two-fold. You get out of your worries and appreciate them more, and they de-stress. “They can recognize we’ll be here to hear them,” she says.

Whatever you do doesn’t have to be physical stuff, but that also doesn’t hurt. Recess time is getting less and less so getting them outside helps burn energy, and when it comes to kids slightly tired often means more calm. It’s weather-dependent, but you can also jump on beds, wrestle, or play indoor basketball. It builds a level of connection that will permeate the rest of the day.

5. Yeah, (Some) Screens Are Okay.

Ah screen time . Its siren song will call to you. Let’s face it, even the best activities are only so captivating and sometimes you need guaranteed, non-interrupted time for longer than 15 minutes. Select the shows on the approved list and give them a limit of X number for the afternoon. They get the choice of when to watch, yet another way to offer control. But it’s important to be clear on the limits and expectations, not just for the shows but for whatever is okay to do during the afternoon. “Gray areas can cause power struggles and conflicts,” Edlynn says.

6. Be Upfront About Your Time

When it comes to after school routine, it’s easy to focus on the kids. But the missing piece is your needs. That’s why you need to be upfront about your schedule and routine. If it’s work, explain to the that it’s necessary in order to pay the bills but that you also enjoy it (Chances are, if you work from home, you’ve already had this talk during the pandemic; but it’s good to reiterate) No, this won’t immediately stop every interruption — habits take time — but you’ve laid out the fuller picture, Trumbell says.

It’s also important to convey that you getting alone time and breaks helps you be all-around better. It’s another aspect of predictability that “if you get this, they get a happier you.”

“They want a parent that’s warm and open and long-fused,” Schonbrun says. “It creates an environment that everyone wants to be part of and that everyone can be their most successful selves.”

When the kids come home from school, your house may feel like a circus and you’re the ringmaster, trying to get everyone in order.

Backpacks, lunch boxes, and shoes are everywhere. Kids are bouncing off the walls, begging for sugary snacks, and refusing to settle down to do their homework. 

If this sounds like your house, then it may be time to implement an after-school routine. An after-school routine checklist can turn the chaos to calm by giving kids predictability and consistency. 

Why You Need an After-School Routine

While you may know what you need to do when you get home every day, kids don’t always have a plan. They’ve just spent the school day being told what to do, having to follow rules, and being expected to sit still. Home is a safe space to let it all out.

When children have routines, they know what to expect. Many kids take comfort in predictability. You’ll often see better behavior when your kids know what’s coming next.

An after-school routine also ensures that everything gets done. No one will be scrambling around in the morning looking for their shoes or rushing to complete forgotten homework. Your morning routine will also be much more peaceful.

Printable After-School Routine Checklists

We’ve created two versions of a free printable checklist for you to use with your children. One is a checklist that’s simple for older elementary and middle schoolers to follow. The other is a picture checklist that will be helpful for kindergarteners and first graders.

Print them off and laminate it so that it lasts longer. Children can use a dry-erase marker to check off things as they complete their after-school schedule.

Why You Should Use a Checklist

In the education world, many teachers divide classroom expectations into “rules and procedures.” Rules give kids ideas of what they’re allowed and not allowed to do. For example “don’t hit” is a rule.

Procedures tell kids how things are done, such as “we always put plates in the sink after eating.” Your after-school routine should be a set of procedures. There’s no arguing with procedures. Kids have a set of things they have to do. If they don’t do them, they’ll be redirected until they finish their tasks.

Checklists are also helpful for parents because it means less nagging. Instead of asking your kids if they put their things away or finished their homework, you simply direct them to the checklist.

Consider Your Child and Family

This checklist contains roughly everything most kids need to do upon coming home from school. However, you may find that you need to make slight adjustments. Every child and every family is different. 

Most kids need some decompression time after the school day before they get too involved in chores and homework, but some kids work best when they get all of those things done right away before moving on to more relaxing activities. Older kids may prefer to do their homework after dinner or later at night.

Ultimately, do what works for your family. Try one method and if it doesn’t work, don’t be afraid to switch it up and try something else. As long as you’re persistent, you’ll be able to achieve some calm in your house after school.

After-School Routine

Below is a list of ideas for an after-school routine for your kids. It’s listed in the order kids should do each thing, but again, feel free to adjust for your needs.

1. Put Away Things

Most kids do one of two things with their stuff when they get home: leave it in the car or drop it near the front door. Parents either wind up getting everything sorted or everyone rushes around the next morning, creating unnecessary stress.

You can help with this by creating designated spaces for all of your kids’ things. If you have a mudroom or area where you can put some cubbies, they will have a place to put their bags, coats, and shoes.

When kids come in, they should go through their backpacks. If they have homework, they should put it where they do their work. If there’s stuff for parents to see or sign, it should go in a spot you designate. They’ll then put their backpacks, coats, and anything else in their spot.

If they have a lunchbox, they should empty it. All containers that need to be washed are put in the sink and trash is thrown away.  The lunchbox should be left in a spot so it’s ready for the next day.

2. Change Clothes

Not all kids change clothes after school, but if your kids wear uniforms or prefer to wear play clothes at home, they can change their clothes. Anything they take off is put in the laundry basket.

3. Snack Time

Most kids come in from school starving. If you’re not careful, they’ll raid the pantry and eat a lot of junk instead of something healthy. Unless you’re a parent who has your kids a special snack made each day, it’s a good idea to have all the snacks you’d like them to choose from in one spot.

You can put a couple of containers in your fridge and pantry and put all of the healthy snacks in there. Protein, fruits, and veggies are always a good idea for this time of day.

If you don’t want your kids eating too many snacks and ruining their dinner, be sure to put a limit on how many they can have.

Kids need some time to decompress after the school day, so once they’ve had their snack, they need a little bit of free time, even if it’s only 20 minutes. During this time, kids should do something fun, whether it’s going outside, playing with dolls or trucks, or building with LEGO.

Older kids may use this time to do some exercises or yoga, read, kick a ball around outside, or just go for a walk. Try to avoid screen time at this point, as your kids likely still have some things to get done before dinner, and once they get on a screen, it’s that much harder to get them back on task.

5. Homework

After kids have had some time to relax, they should be ready to focus on homework. Homework is often a touchy subject with kids. If you feel like you’re struggling with your child to get it done every day, then making it part of their routine may help. 

To get your kid’s homework routine as painless as possible, set up a spot for them to do their homework, such as at a desk or a spot at the table. Make a container with all the things they may need – pencils, pens, erasers, sharpeners, crayons, etc. 

If your kids are younger, try to keep yourself free at this time in case they need any help. If possible, try to let your kids do their work independently. 

Kids should next do a daily chore. You may have tasks they complete every day, like making their bed and putting away toys, but you may also want them to do one chore to help out the household.

  • Fold and put away laundry
  • Sweep the kitchen or front porch
  • Water house plants
  • Load or unload the dishwasher
  • Help with dinner
  • Empty all wastebaskets in the house and take out the trash

Be sure your kids’ chores are things that make them feel like they’re contributing to the family, not just busy work.

7. Screen Time / Reading Time

Once kids have completed their tasks, they can have screen time (if you allow screen time on weeknights). It’s up to you how long you give them, but sometimes when you put screentime between homework/chores and dinner, it can serve as an incentive for kids to get their work finished instead of procrastinating.

If you don’t allow screen time, this is a great time for reading. It gives kids a chance to wind down before bath and dinner. Kids can read a book for school, but if you want it to feel like a reward, let them read a book of their choice.

Some families do a bath before dinner. You may prefer to make it part of your child’s after-school routine. It comes down to how much time you have after dinner and whether a bath gets them ready for sleep or hypes them up.

Once you make it to dinner time, the after-school routine is finally over! It’s time to gather at the table and enjoy a meal as a family. Your kids should be getting ready to wind down at this time and it’s the perfect time to talk about their days.

With kids heading back to school right now, it’s a great time to revisit family routines and get some good systems in place to make life run a little smoother this year.

My kids just started back at public school after homeschooling last year, so I was a little nervous for them, but so far so good!

I’m still working my way through revamping all my household systems (I had a LOT of things that got pushed to the back burner for the past year and a half…can you relate?), but one routine I set up right away was our after school routine.

To me, the time when my kids first come home from school is one of the most critical times of the whole day. After being apart for six hours, it’s important to me to make their return home a positive one. Our routine is simple, but it’s meaningful for both the practicality of life and for building our relationships. It has become a tradition of togetherness and a way to clearly signal the move from “school” to “home”.

How having an after school routine will help your family:

  • Simplify your mornings. School mornings are busy. As moms, we’re often running around trying get everyone dressed and fed and brushed and not looking like a total ragamuffin. So it’s extremely helpful to have shoes and backpacks already prepped and ready to go. By having a specific place set aside for these items and making it part of your afternoon routine to prep them for the next day, you take one more thing OFF your list for the morning (because if you’re like me, you’re a little fuzzy brained and more likely to forget stuff in the mornings).
  • Make time to connect after being apart. Whenever possible, I like to make our after school snack time a tech-free time where I set down my phone and I chat with my kids about their day while we munch on something yummy. It doesn’t have to be complicated (try any of these easy after school snack ideas ). Just 10-15 minutes of quality time can go a long way in making kids feel loved and helping them process all the experiences they’ve had throughout the day.
  • Set your kids up for school success. Most kids are not naturally great at keeping track of homework assignments and the papers they bring home from school. But you can help them be successful by teaching them strategies and putting routines in place that encourage them to be responsible. Have them go through their backpacks when they first get home. Review any papers that need to be signed or assignments that need to be finished and make sure everything is ready to go for the next day.
  • Keep your home more organized and relaxing. Backpacks, shoes, coats, sports gear…Kids have lots of stuff. And without some training, all that stuff has a tendency to end up strewn about the house in piles. It only takes about 20 seconds to put away their belongings when they walk in the door, and having it put away gives us more space to play and helps me relax and be able to enjoy my kids more.

Here’s what our after school routine looks like each day:

I printed out our checklist (you can download your own copy below), and then posted it on the wall of our mudroom so they can see it right when they walk in the door.

My kids come inside, put away their shoes, and then empty their backpacks of any papers or lunchbox items.

While they wash their hands, I help sort through the papers and clean out their lunch box.

I usually try to have a snack all ready to go on the table, and we’ll sit, eat, and chat together for 10-15 minutes (or until they get tired of my questions and run off to play). When the weather is good, we’ll take our snack out in the backyard instead.

Homework vs. playtime…which should be first?

Some people say, “Get homework done first, so you don’t forget later.”

Others say, “Give them a break. They’ve been working hard all day.”

In the past, we’ve done homework right after snack time, but I’m tweaking our routine this year. My boys do their reading in bed at night (I’m blessed that they’re both good independent readers), and we’re going to experiment with doing any other homework in the morning before school to avoid the afternoon tired troubles. My kids’ elementary school doesn’t start until 9 AM, so we have plenty of time in the morning.

Honestly, you can make either order work, depending on what is best for your family. Just make sure you set aside a regular time of day to do it!

Post your list in a highly visible place so can look to see what to do next if they forget. In the beginning, you may still need to remind them to “look at the list,” but you may be surprised at how quickly they master the routine!

In fact, kids should be allowed to make decisions regarding their education based on their interests and their awareness of the subject. Set your goals. Life is filled with a bulk of challenges after school. Independence to choose plays a vital role in every individual life. From the walk we get on to college, seek education, choose a course, get a job, reorganization in the society, life partner, blissful existence, etc., each step is a challenge. Proper vision and planning in life can lead to a high standard of living.

The Balancing Act

As soon as, we leave school, life is full of challenges, decision making, guidance from parents, friends, and the people around, in choosing a proper field. All these factors should be balanced. The corresponding work is an essential key factor. Balancing the personal and professional aspects is the way for a successful life.

Getting An Admission In College

Life after school is all about college and Higher Education. After the decision made to choose the respective course, it is time to choose a proper and efficient college. And also search for the colleges that offer the required course. Filling up the application forms, if there are any entrance exams, prepare well to crack them. And another crux of the matters that involve taking admission must be considered.

Conclusion: Life after School is a lot of endeavor and occurrence, all of them put together will enhance a high-quality life and superior career. Life after School makes us feel more responsible about education. It is the first step to start our career on the right path.

How to set up the best routine for the little time we have on weekdays after school? 

Well, this is something I assume most families with younger kids are facing quite often… What are the best after-school activities? What after-school routine should you follow to be able to fulfill all required tasks while also finding a way for bonding with your Little Ones?

In our busy lives, it’s easy to forget that there is a time of day when we can actually have some downtime. Now, I’m not talking about those long, drawn-out family dinners where everyone talks at once and you can’t hear your child’s voice over the din. I’m talking about a time of day when you can just sit down and be with your children. You know, where they can talk to you with no interruptions and you can listen to them ask all their questions about school, life, and what the best part of the day was.

The biggest advantage of having a routine for after school is that you’ll never have to think twice about it – obviously you can adjust it to your daily situations, but it feels soooo relieving to have something as a starting point .

So here are those elements of our after-school routine that is working pretty well for a while now, so I can suggest trying to involve some in your after-school routine as well!

1. Snack after school

My Daughter is always hungry when I am picking her up . And obviously, her bag is full of food, but she is simply too busy to eat enough during the day…

So I love to have a snack ready for her when I pick her up from school. This way she can eat something light and healthy, such as fruit or oatmeal with yogurt, while we are driving home. This snack gives her the energy she needs and ensures that she won’t be hungry and grumpy.

2. Focus on each other after school

After we say goodbye to each other in the morning, many things happen to both of us. I used to forget from time to time that she also can have a tough day, with issues solved or to be solved that are still in her mind.

Now I am reminding myself how important it is to have some time right after school when it is just the two of us , and when we can share with each other the important things that happened during the day. Try to find some time for family bonding even on the busiest days!😊

3. After-school chores

We have a daily routine at home, which includes chores that need to be done .

I am teaching my Daughter to take responsibility for her own messes and clean up after herself. Having this kind of responsibility helps her feel like an adult and makes her more responsible in other areas as well. Together we make a list of the things that need to be done after school. I usually assign her two or three chores, and my goal is not to give her more than she can handle.

She loves this part of our day because it gives us a chance to work together and do something important for our family .

4. Homework…

Parents have different views on whether that is important to study at home even after school with the Little Ones, or if it is only necessary with older kids. What I would suggest (and what I am trying) is to be aware of what your kids are studying .

We have an app and the teachers let us know each day what were the main topics of the various classes. So I quickly run through it and while driving home or doing some chores, ask my Little One about her day including some specific questions regarding the classes. I can see this way if she understands well what is going on, or if she needs some support from my side.

And anyway, some reading , writing, or maths practice would not hurt anyone 😊

5. Packing Backpack

It would be impossible to fit into our morning routine such things as picking clothes or packing the school backpack. So we do it after school. This is also great as it can turn out that something got lost during the day (eraser, pencils, ruler…) or something is needed for the next day … so at least we have some chance to prepare and as bonus leftovers are also found in due time 😅

In our case, it is my Daughter’s responsibility to take care of her backpack. She is carrying it, she is packing in and out. This is something I wanted to stick to, and hope that in the long run, it will help her be more organized and take care of her things. So far she is doing amazingly well! And we found almost all those few things that she has lost in the first weeks of school 😊

6. Play time after school

And here comes the best part, play time after school! 

It is so important to let the children play and relax after school . It depends on the kids what is their best way of recharging their batteries. For some, these are activities to be done alone, like drawing, coloring, journaling , or playing with dolls or action figures.

Others prefer some extra bonding time, cooking together, playing board games , or spending some time with their friends . I let my Daughter decide, each day can be different, even with the same kid 😊

+ Sports, music, or other extracurricular activities

I listed our routine in a timely order, however, sports, music, or other extracurricular activities might be added if your kids are attending any.

What our teachers told us when starting school was not to have too many of these activities, to let the kids have time for relaxing and playing as well!

3.30-4.30 – I get back to home and take rest. 

4.30-6.00 – I play cricket outside and then get back to home. 

6.00-9.00 – I study a lot in that time.

10.00 – I go to sleep after eating my dinner and watching TV for 20 minutes. 

That’s all about my daily routine. 

Conclusion:

I make some changes in the routine when I have free time or leisure time. Overall that’s a huge experience for me to follow this productive routine.

Introduction:

If you want to get the best result from your work, then you need to manage time properly. And time management becomes so easy when you are following a daily routine. As a student, I follow a very strict but simple routine and it helps me a lot to improve my study and other things. Today I will share everything about my routine. 

My Daily Routine:

My day starts very early in the morning. I wake up at 4 o’clock. I used to wake up very late, but when I heard about the health benefits of early rising , I started to get up early. Then I brush my teeth and go for a small morning walk . 

I enjoy the walk very much because it helps to feel good in the early morning. Sometimes I do some basic exercises too. Then I take a shower and eat my breakfast. Then I prepare my school tasks. I love to study math and science in the morning time. 

Because I can give better concentration on that period. I get ready for my school at 9 o’clock and my mom drops me there at 9.30 o’clock. I spend most of the time on my day at the school. I eat my lunch there in the school break time. 

I come back from the school at 3.30 PM and then I take a rest for 30 minutes. I love to play cricket in the afternoon. But every day I can’t play. 

My Evening and Night Routine:

When I get back home after the playing in the field, I feel very tired. And then I wash and take rest for 30 minutes. I eat some juice or something else that my mom prepares for me. I start to study at 6.30 PM in the evening. 

Most of the day, I keep reading till 9.30. That’s the most important part for my study. I prepare all my homework and do some extra studies too. And then I eat my dinner and watch Television before sleep. 

Conclusion: 

That’s all about my daily routine. I try to follow this routine always. But sometimes I need to bring some changes in the routine. And when I spend holiday and off day from school, I can’t follow this routine at all. I think this routine is helping me to use my time in the best work and complete my study tasks properly.

To become successful, everybody should follow a strict schedule or routine. Especially in student life, we need to maintain our time properly. If we fail to maintain time then we can’t make a good result in the examination. 

Today I am going to share my daily routine and my experience here. I am a very regular guy who follows a routine. I made that routine almost six months ago with the help of my elder brother. 

I make some small edits and changes in the routine due to my own preference. 

I consider the morning is the most important part of the day. In the morning, you will find lots of peace and a calm environment. My class teacher suggested me to get up early morning. I followed here that suggestion very seriously and that made my day. 

Now I always get up at 5 o’clock in the morning. First of all, I go to the washroom and brush my teeth. I wash my face and wipe the water with a towel. Then I go for a small morning walk. I know the morning walk is very important for good health. 

Sometimes, I do exercise too. Most of the time I walk almost 30 minutes and the doctor said that’s enough for me. This little workout keeps me strong for the rest of the day. I come back to home after the walk and get fresh again. 

I eat my breakfast then. After eating breakfast, I study Math and Science in the morning time. I think morning is the best time to study. 

School Time: 

I go to school at 9.30 o’clock in the morning. My father drops me here with his car. I get a break at 1 o’clock after four classes in a row. And finally, I go home at 4 PM with my mom . 

She comes to pick me up from school every day. Because it takes almost 20 minutes to go home from school by car. I enjoy school time very much.

Eat and Sleep Routine: 

I eat my breakfast and then I eat my lunch in the school break time. I take my lunch with me. My mother is very aware of my food. She always cooks something interesting to me. I love eating Pizza and Burger, but she doesn’t buy me that kind of fast food. 

She prefers to cook them for me. I love her cooked Pizza very much. And finally, after reading and watching TV at night at 10 o’clock, I go for my sleep. When I go to bed, I think about my entire day. 

Holiday Routine: 

When my school is close and I have lots of spare time, my daily routine becomes a bit different. I add time for video games, playing in the field with friends, and spending more time with my cousins. 

That’s all about my daily routine. I love to follow this routine and I am very serious about it. I think It’s perfect for me. You can follow my routine too.

2. It’s a high priority for the students. And that’s why I follow a very simple routine to manage my time. 

3. My daily routine is very easy and simple. It helps me to study properly, eat on time, and take care of my health. 

4. I get up early in the morning and pray first. My mother always suggests me to pray in the early morning. 

5. And then I go for a morning walk. After a 30 minute walk, I come back home and go for a bath and then I eat my breakfast. 

6. I go to school at 9 o’clock and get back home at 3 o’clock. I eat my lunch in the school break time. I keep my food with me. 

7. I go outside to play cricket with my friends in the afternoon. I enjoy that time a lot. I think that’s the best part of my day. 

8. I read almost three hours at night. And then I eat my dinner. 

9. Before going to bed, I watch TV for 30 minutes. I love watching cartoon channels. 

10. That’s all about my daily routine. That is very simple and easy.

But finally, I came with a very productive and successful schedule of my life. I suggest you look back on your day and think about how do you spend your time.
