1. Swami Vivekananda Vivekananda was a spiritual genius born in Calcutta in 1863. His teacher Sri Ramakrishna gave him all teachings to transform him into a sage and prophet with authority to teach.
2. Vivekananda�s vision and work Vivekananda vision was to teach and spread message of Hinduism to the world. He accepted opportunity in 1893 to represent Hinduism at Chicago�s parliament of religions. For 3 years he spread Vedanta philosophy and Hindu religion in America and England, and returned India to found Ramakrishna Mission. He died on July 4th, 1902 at very early age of 39.
