THAIBA is an ambitious and transformative education initiative, comprising of two grants; the System Transformation Grant and System Capacity Grant. It aims to elevate the standards of teaching, learning and governance by promoting inclusive and equitable learning environments.

The project development objective is to enhance access to secondary education and improve its quality. The indicators of it are increasing the net male enrollment rate in higher secondary education, improving school level learning outcomes in English Language, Mathematics and Science in secondary grades and improving teaching practices in secondary grades. The project would also assist in the governments efforts to ensure education quality through the internal and external quality reviews and national assessments in addition to providing technical assistance to utilize the findings of these programs for strategic planning and program development.
