yummy jobs cover letter

  • Your CV doesn't need to be three pages long; in fact, it's better if you are able to keep it shorter.  Many employers don't look past the first page of a CV so you need to make an impact on your CV: keep it short and snappy!
  • Include a brief introduction about yourself at the top of your CV.  It's a great opportunity to hook the reader in so make sure you sell yourself.
  • Try to avoid "buzz words" - google popular or overused phrases used in job applications and avoid!  Everyone is a "hard working team player!"
  • Adapt your CV to the job role.  Highlight your transferable skills from your previous jobs/experience.  Even if you don't think it will fit, make it!  If you've worked in an office, for example, talk about your communication skills, your reliability etc.
  • Remember to match up your CV with your online application; you don't want massive gaps or differences between them.
  • First of all:  check your spelling and grammar!  This is something that can potentially make or break your application.  Simple spelling errors when applying for a job screams of laziness!
  • Swot up on the Disney brands and values.  Disney is much more than a theme park and you need to show them that you understand this.
  • Don't forget you're applying to be a cultural representative - you need to explain why you think culture is important and how you can authentically share your culture.
  • The cover letter is a great opportunity to add in the extra information you couldn't fit into the application, so if you have anything you desperately want to share, and it's relevant, put it in your cover letter.
  • Use the cover letter to give a brief overview of what you have to offer them.  Talk about your work experience, any skills you've learnt during education, and a bit about your personality.
  • Be genuine!  Sounds like it an obvious one, but be yourself.  It will be clear if you're trying to be someone else.
  • Have a clear structure for your cover letter.  Use paragraphs appropriately, group the information together (work experience, education, personal qualities, reason why you want to do the program etc) and link them well.
  • Be memorable.  Make Disney want you as much as you want the job.  You have fantastic qualities and skills to offer, so make sure it shows.
  • Keep it relevant to the Walt Disney Company.  Maybe include a quote or link the core company values into your own.  This doesn't mean stick a Walt Disney quote in every other sentence, be subtle but effective.

yummy jobs interview questions

As much as I wish this was a current job (sob), this post is about how I got a job working at Walt Disney World in 2015! (Just a quick note that these photos were taken in 2015, so the quality isnt amazing! I apologise!) I thought it would be appropriate to share this post now, as Yummy Jobs (the company I applied with to work at Disney) have just announced that they are restarting the Cultural Exchange Program for people to fly out this summer! The link to their website is here in case anyone is interested in applying.

Quick disclaimer though – my experience was obviously 7 years ago, so the whole process may be completely different now, especially post-COVID!

In my final year of university, I decided that I really wanted to do some sort of work abroad program. It would be the only time I could do something like that (without having any real responsibilities!) so I really wanted to go for it and do something for myself. Id been to a lecture at university about Camp America and was planning on applying to that, but then a friend at my part-time job mentioned the Disney Cultural Exchange program. Hed been the year before and loved it, so he was talking about how amazing it was and basically sold it to me! Ive always been a massive Disney lover and it was always a dream of mine to go to Disney World, so I thought, why not try and work there?

The program was called the Cultural Exchange Program, and was a 3 month program which took place in the summer. To apply, you had to be a current university student. I went online and found out I had to apply through a company called Yummy Jobs who dealt with UK applicants. I found loads of blogs and YouTube videos with advice on applying and chatted with my friend who had already been. There was also a Facebook group for hopeful applicants, which proved to be very useful! This is why I wanted to write this blog post myself – as I found other peoples blogs and YouTube videos really helpful when I was applying.

I sent off my application, which was a basic form with a personal profile and an essay about what Disney meant to me and what cultural exchange meant to me. I remember agonising over this for hours, wondering what to write, what theyd want to read, how to sell myself… in the end, I just wrote from the heart and prayed that my passion came across. Then became a waiting game to find out if Id gotten through to interview!

The first interview was at Manchester Metropolitan University. I remember being SO nervous and excited! I got the train in and met up with some other applicants from the Facebook group (including Alice who ended up being my roommate for my program!) and we headed over together. The Yummy Jobs representatives gave us a talk about what the program was like, gave us a Disney quiz and then it was time to be interviewed. We were interviewed in groups (which is really hard!) and they asked questions about various roles and ways wed deal with certain situations, as well as the standard Which Disney character would you be and why? Like I said, it was really hard because you dont want to be the person talking over everyone and interrupting people, but you also want to stand out and not be silent! Once this was over, it was then another few-week wait to find out if wed gotten through to the next stage.

Woohoo, Id made it to the second round of interviews! This time I was invited to The Walt Disney Company Headquarters in London! I remember this being such a big deal. I went with some applicants Id chatted to last time (including Alice!) and we went in together. After waiting in the waiting room with a giant silver glittery Mickey Mouse statue, we were given passes and different times in the day for our interviews. They told us that we could either wait there for our chosen time or return later. As our times were hours away, we decided to explore London instead, making sure to visit the Disney store for maximum excitement! When it was time for our interviews, we went in individually and had our interviews with the Disney recruiters (who were lovely!) They were so friendly and chatty, so I remember thinking it was so much easier than Id built it up in my head. They asked about my work experience, what Disney meant to me, what my views on cultural exchange were and why it was so important etc.

Then was a huge waiting game of a few months, constantly checking my emails, reading everyones posts in our Facebook group asking if anyone had heard…

THE EMAIL On December 19th 2014, late at night, the email finally arrived. Id been selected to take part in a Disney program! I remember screaming and running in to my mums room to tell her. I couldnt believe it! Our arrival date was 2nd June 2015, so I had quite a while to wait, but I remember being so excited and it was all I could talk about for months.

And thats the story on how I got my job at Walt Disney World! Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the Cultural Exchange Program was cancelled, but Yummy Jobs have literally just announced that it is returning! It was the best experience of my life and Im so glad I did it. It taught me so much more than I ever thought it would, and Id give anything to go back and relive it.

I do have some other posts about my time at Disney planned, like about my arrival week, how I found out what my job was and where I lived for the duration of my program, but I thought this would be enough for one post! Let me know what you think below.

Im Jemma, a 28 year old Disney-obsessed adult(ish) with a deep love for chocolate, the colour pink and musical theatre. I live in the UK with my fiancé (Ben), our newborn baby girl (Penelope) and our black cat (Nora).

My blog and social media is my little corner of the internet, where I share anything and everything that I am passionate about!

Yummy Jobs Programs

Interviews for Top Jobs at Yummy Jobs

Cep interview.

I applied online.   I interviewed at Yummy Jobs

A friendly group interview with around 6 other people. We were asked numerous questions, often asking the same and going around the group. This sometimes made it difficult if you were first to answer and hadn’t had time to think of something, or last to answer and had all the answers taken.

Interviews for Top Jobs at Yummy.com

Delivery driver interview.

I applied online.   The process took 1 day.   I interviewed at Yummy.com (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2016

Went inside the store and was greeted by someone who works there and was handed a form to fill out. After filling it out, you have a face-to-face interview that doesn’t take any longer than 10 min.

  • “Tell me a little about yourself?”, “Do you have any questions for me?”

I applied through other source.   I interviewed at Yummy.com (Playa Vista, CA) in Jul 2014

The owner sits down with you and talks about how great he is and his company is. Then goes on to say how great and awesome his company is.

  • They don’t really ask you anything. You fill it all out. Basics questions like where did you work, why do you want to work here, etc etc.

Once its your time slot you go in and sign in with yummy jobs and then take a seat before they give you a presentation all about the program. This takes about an hour but it doesn’t feel like it because they try to make it fun for you! We also did a bit of Disney trivia and they gave out chocolate to those who answered correctly!

My advice for this stage is to smile a lot even if you’re nervous because it’s Disney you want to work for and everyone’s happy at Disney! Also try not to talk over people in your group because this could come across as rude and that’s not what they’re looking for! I’d also say to let your personality show through and show that you can hold a conversation because in my opinion that’s the kind of person they are looking for.

This stage is a group interview (groups of around 10 people) which is quite different to a one-to-one interview but that doesn’t mean it’s an all bad thing. Personally I find group interviews harder because I’m typically quite shy and reserved unless I know people really well. However I know some people would prefer the group interview because when other people are answering it gives you some time to think about what you want to say. I wouldn’t say being on the shy side like me is a particularly bad thing in this situation because there were people in my group that said a lot more than me who didn’t get through to the next stage but at the same time make sure you speak enough so the interviewer has something to go on.

The Yummy Jobs offices can be quite difficult to find. I myself couldn’t see it anywhere once I got to Epping but I eventually found it, so to save other people from the panic I went through if you find Starbucks on the main street and cross the road you’ll see a small black door with a plaque next to it that reads Yummy Jobs and voilà you’ve found it!

After this if your interview time isn’t directly after the presentation you will be asked to leave and come back at your time but it’s okay because that gives you time to meet people in your group and chat a little beforehand so you won’t be as nervous! Also a tip this year was first come first served in regards to times so if you want the earlier time I suggest arriving at yummy jobs a little earlier than you need to be there.

A blog about my experiences on the Walt Disney World Cultural Exchange Program 2017

So, on the 17th August 2016 I got an email from Yummy Jobs saying that got through to the first round of interviews! I was so happy and excited and it was made even better because I was actually in Disney World on holiday when I found out!!

I had already joined the Facebook group before I sent the application but now everyone was forming groups with people who had the same interview time. I’d definitely recommend joining a group as it’s been really helpful!

The first round of interviews are held by Yummy Jobs in their offices in Epping in Essex. It’s a group interview with about 7-8 people and it’s to see how you can interact with others.

My email told me that my interview slot would be at 2pm on Monday 26th September 2016 (just before I started back at uni). We had to confirm our place and email Anna at Yummy Jobs. Also, I think they were really accommodating if you couldn’t go on the day they gave you, as I know lot’s people swapped to different days. The email also said that we had to bring a copy of our CV and passport.

In the weeks leading up to the interview I read loads of blogs to try and see what everyone had been asked so I complied a long list of every question that has been mentioned in blogs.

I worked through the list thinking of multiple answers for each one. Because it was a group interview, I thought it would be best to have a few answers so that I always had something different to say.

The day soon came around and I wore a navy dress with little red flowers on, black tights, a black cardigan and black shoes, I also made sure my hair was neat and tidy. My parents drove me up and while they went and explored the area, I met up with some people from the Facebook group in Costa. It was great that we all got to meet each other before the interview as it made us more relaxed.

img_3338

The Yummy Jobs team then did a presentation that lasted about 45mins- 1hour which went through the various facts about the program and got us all more excited! We also had a little quiz before the presentation began which included prizes! We were given a role checklist where we just had to tick which roles we were willing to do on the program. The Yummy Jobs team advised that the more we ticked, the better chance we had to getting to the next stage.

The roles that were on offer were:

  • Character Attendant
  • Operations- Attractions/Park Greeter
  • Merchandise
  • Character Performer
  • Lifeguarding
  • Bell Services
  • Quick Service Food and Beverage
  • Restaurant Seater

I said that I was willing to do 8 out 11- I didn’t want to do lifeguarding or recreation because I’m not a strong enough swimmer and I also wasn’t a big fan of working in the quick service food locations.

The Yummy Jobs team said that there’s a lot of roles for operations, merchandise, custodial and quick service food and beverage and so were kind of hinting that it’d be a good idea to say that we were willing to do these jobs.

There were two interview times and mine was at 4:30pm which meant I had about an hour to either leave and come back or stay in the office where there was cake for the Macmillan Coffee Morning. I think pretty much everyone at the 4:30 time stayed and had cake and just got chatting to the other people who were also in Team Dumbo.

The wait went really quickly and soon Anna came to collect Team Dumbo and took us into her office. There were three interviewers so there was six slots on Monday afternoon in total. There was seven of us in Team Dumbo and it was a really relaxed atmosphere; we just sat in a circle while Anna asked us questions and we had a sort of conversation. Firstly, we had to speak to the person next to us and introduce them with their name, where they’re from, what they’re studying, an interesting fact and their favourite disney memory. This was a great way to break the ice and I had already met Andria, the girl I had to introduce!

Then we began with the questions:

  • Why do you want to work for Disney?
  • What are your top roles?
  • What aspect of the housing are you most looking forward to?
  • How would you deal with a messy roommate?
  • What Disney character are you most like and why?
  • How would you keep motivated to put in 110% effort?

There were some more questions but I can’t remember all of them!

Anna split our group in half at one point and asked each side to discuss a scenario question and then feedback to the rest of the group. My group was asked this:

As a lifeguard you have to constantly keep your eyes on the water. What would you do if a guest walked up to you and asked a question? How would you keep them happy without loosing your concentration on the water?

The other group were asked how would you deal with guests when a ride is broken down?

The interview lasted about 45mins (or maybe even longer) but it went very very quickly! It didn’t feel like we were in there that long at all. We gave our role checklist forms to Anna and she asked us if we had any questions. I asked about how long you’re earning your ears for (which is training in Disney speak) and others asked some questions as well. We were the last group to finish so we must have been in there longer than the other groups and we had a group picture by the disney poster in the Yummy Jobs Office. I think I’m right in saying that a lot of Team Dumbo got through to the next round!

IMG_3337

I think for this interview you just need to relax- you’ve done really well to get this far as they make a lot of cuts at the application stage.

Also try to look engaged and not talk over people or talk too much. I answered all the questions and so did everyone in my group so everyone got a chance to talk. All in all, this interview was nothing to worry about so if you’ve got this far, just relax!

I have to say the wait after this interview was very difficult, you just want to know! Two weeks went by and still none of us had heard anything. I think it was to do with the fact they had extended the application deadline into October so they couldn’t finish the interviews until a bit later. Originally the interview week was 26th September – 30th September, but they then added another interview day around the 7th October.

Going by my interview day, I think Yummy Jobs interviewed about 600 people and they said they were going to take about 350 people to the final interview stage.

After the pre-screen, Yummy Jobs asked us to create a Disney profile and fill out the Disney application just as a formality so that Disney had us on their system. I followed up the interview with an email to Anna just saying how much I enjoyed the day and met some great people and that I had completed the Disney application.

Then we waited… and waited… and waited… until finally… we got an email on the 14th October 2016! I was so excited!! So the next stop was Disney HQ in Hammersmith!!

Nailing the dreaded ‘tell me about yourself’ question

“So, tell me about yourself.” Its a common interview question that tends to come up early, which means its a great opportunity to make a good impression. Interviewers use this one to learn about who you are as a person before delving into career questions. Before the interview, spend time getting to know yourself. Not in a deep, meaningful Eat Pray Love kind of way – just understand where your strengths lie and how to talk about them.

  • Study your CV . Print off a copy and make notes on it as if you were getting ready for an exam. Highlight the parts that are most relevant to the job youre applying for, and think about how you can weave them into your answer.
  • Think about your work history . What were your favourite things about past jobs, and what were your biggest achievements? Knowing this will help to guide the conversation. For example, if your favourite thing about your first job was the social life, your gregarious personality is something to highlight to interviewers.
  • Figure out your career bucket-list . Your ambitions are an important part of who you are, and talking about them at the interview will show that youre serious about your future in the industry.
  • Write and practise a soundbite . Prepare a short, two-minute speech about who you are and rehearse it in front of the mirror. Include all the above points, relating your experience and personality traits back to the role.
  • Dont get too personal . Your interviewer doesnt want to hear about your family relationships, feelings about religion and political opinions – in fact, some of these topics are actually illegal to ask about during an interview (but more on that later). Keep it professional, and focus on relevant skills and experiences.

What are the 10 most common interview questions and answers?

  • Tell me about yourself.
  • What attracted you to our company?
  • Tell me about your strengths.
  • Where do you see yourself in five years?
  • Tell me about a time where you encountered a business challenge?

What are tricky interview questions?

  • Can you tell me a little about yourself?
  • How did you hear about the position?
  • What do you know about the company?
  • What are your greatest professional strengths?
  • What do you consider to be your weaknesses?
  • What is your greatest professional achievement?

What are the 3 best questions to ask in an interview?

  • How many basketballs can fit on a bus?
  • What two things, aside from food and water, would you want on a deserted island?
  • How many pizzas are ordered every night in the United States?
  • What would you do if you won the lottery?
  • Blue or green?

What is a Cover Letter?

A cover letter is a one-page document that you submit as part of your job application, alongside your resume .

Its purpose is to introduce you and briefly summarize your professional background. On average, your cover letter should be from 250 to 400 words long .

A good cover letter can give the hiring manager more insight into what makes you a good candidate and help them make up their mind about whether they should invite you for an interview. A bad cover letter, though, will get ignored (at best) and lose you the job (at worst).

So, to make sure this doesn’t happen, it’s essential to know how to write a convincing cover letter.

The first thing to remember is that a cover letter is a supplement to your resume, not a replacement. Meaning, you shouldn’t just repeat whatever is mentioned in your resume and call it a day.

Optimally, you should use your cover letter to shed more light on your skills and qualifications, as well as explain anything you didn’t have space for in your resume (e.g. a career gap or why you’re changing careers).

If you’re writing a cover letter for the first time, though, putting all this together might seem pretty tough.

Fortunately, you can follow our tried-and-tested format to make the experience much easier:

  • Header - Input your contact information.
  • Greeting the hiring manager - Open the cover letter with a “Dear Sir or Madam,” or use the hiring manager’s name if you know what that is.
  • Opening paragraph - Grab the hiring manager’s attention by getting straight to the point. Mention what your professional experiences are, and what role you’re applying for.
  • The second paragraph - Explain why you’re the perfect candidate for the job. Mention your top 2-3 achievements, your top skills, why you want to work in that specific industry, and whatever else is relevant.
  • The third paragraph - End your cover letter with a call to action. E.g. “I would love to meet personally and discuss how I can help Company X.”
  • Formal closing - Something like this: “Thank you for your consideration. Best, John Doe.”

Here’s what this looks like in practice:

9 Tips to Write a Cover Letter (the Right Way)

Now that we've covered the basics, let's talk about cover letter tips . Below, we'll give you all the knowledge you need to take your cover letter from "OK" to "great."

#1. Pick the right template

A good cover letter is all about leaving the right first impression.

And what’s a better way to leave a good impression than through a professional, well-formatted, and visual template?

You can simply pick one of our tried-and-tested cover letter templates and you’ll be all set!

cover letter examples templates

#2. Add your contact details on the header

The best way to start your cover letter is through a header.

Here’s what you want to include there:

  • Phone Number
  • Name of the hiring manager / their professional title
  • Name of the company you’re applying to

Optionally, you can also include the following:

  • Social Media Profiles - Any type of profile that’s relevant to your field. Social Profiles on websites like LinkedIn, GitHub (for developers), Medium (for writers), etc.
  • Personal Website - If you have a personal website that somehow adds value to your application, you can mention it. Let’s say you’re a professional writer. In that case, you’d want to link to your content portfolio site or blog.

#3. Greet the hiring manager the right way

Once you’ve listed all your relevant contact information, it’s time to address the hiring manager reading your cover letter.

A good practice here is to find the hiring manager’s name and address them directly instead of using the traditional “dear sir or madam.” This shows that you’re really invested in the company and that you took your time to do some research about the job.

So, how can you find out the hiring manager’s name?

One way to do this is by looking up the head of the company’s relevant department on LinkedIn. Let’s say you’re applying for the position of Communication Specialist at Novoresume. The hiring manager is probably the Head of Communications or the Chief Communications Office.

Or let’s say you’re applying for the position of server at a restaurant. In that case, you’d be looking to find out who the restaurant manager is.

If this doesn’t work, you can also check out the “Team” page on the company website; there’s a good chance you’ll at least find the right person there.

If you still can’t find out the hiring manager’s name, here are several other greetings you can use:

  • Dear [Department] Hiring Manager
  • Dear Hiring Manager
  • To whom it may concern
  • Dear [Department] Team

#4. Create an attention-grabbing introduction

Recruiters get hundreds, sometimes even thousands, of applications. Chances are, they’re not going to be reading every single cover letter end-to-end.

So, it’s essential to catch their attention from the very first paragraph.

The problem with most cover letter opening paragraphs, though, is that they’re usually extremely generic, often looking something like this:

Hey, my name is Jonathan and I’d like to work as a Sales Manager at XYZ Inc. I’ve worked as a sales manager at MadeUpCompany Inc. for 5+ years, so I believe that I’d be a good fit for the position.

As you can probably tell, this opening paragraph doesn’t tell the hiring manager anything other than that you’ve worked the job before - and that’s not really helpful in setting you apart from other candidates.

What you want to do, instead, is start off with 2-3 of your top achievements to really grab the reader’s attention. Preferably, the achievements should be as relevant as possible to the position.

For example:

My name’s Michael and I’d like to help XYZ Inc. hit and exceed its sales goals as a Sales Manager. I’ve worked with Company X, a fin-tech company, for 3+ years. As a Sales Representative, I generated an average of $30,000+ in sales per month (beating the KPIs by around 40%). I believe that my previous industry experience, as well as my excellence in sales, makes me the right candidate for the role of X at Company Y.

The second example shows how the candidate is a top performer. The first just shows that they’ve worked a sales job before.

Which one are YOU more likely to invite for an interview?

#5. Show you’re the perfect person for the job

One great thing about cover letters is that they allow you to expand more on the top achievements from your resume and really show the hiring manager that you’re the right person for the job.

A good way to do that is to first read the job ad and really understand what skills/experiences are required, and then to ensure that your cover letter touches upon the said skills or experiences.

In my previous role as a Facebook Marketing Expert at XYZ Inc. I handled customer acquisition through ads, managing a monthly Facebook ad budget of $20,000+. As the sole digital marketer at the company, I managed the ad creation and management process end-to-end. This means I created the ad copy and images, as well as picked the targeting, ran optimization trials, and so on.

Other than Facebook advertising, I’ve also delved into other online PPC channels, including:

  • Google Search

#6. Explain why you’re a great company fit

The HR manager doesn’t only look at whether you’ll be good at the job or not. They’re looking for someone that’s also a good fit for the company culture.

After all, employees that don’t fit in are bound to quit, sooner or later. This ends up costing the company a ton of money, up to 50% of the employee’s annual salary .

To convince the hiring manager that you’re a great company fit, do some research on the company and find out what it is you like about them, or about working there. You want to know things like:

  • What’s the company’s business model?
  • What’s the company's product or service? Have you used it?
  • What’s the culture like? Will someone micro-manage your work, or will you have autonomy on how you get things done?

Then, turn your top reasons for liking to work there into text and add them to your cover letter!

#7. Wrap up with a call to action

To make the end of your cover letter as memorable as possible, you want to:

  • Wrap up any points you couldn't in the previous paragraphs. Mention anything you’ve left out that you think could help the hiring manager make up your mind.
  • Thank the hiring manager for their time. After all, it never hurts to be polite.
  • Finish the cover letter with a call to action. A call to action is a great way to make your cover letter ending as memorable as possible.

#8. Write a formal closing

Once you’re done with the final paragraph, all you have to do is write down a formal “goodbye” and you’re good to go.

Feel free to use one of the most popular conclusions in a cover letter:

  • Best Regards,
  • Kind Regards,

#9. Proofread your cover letter

Last but not least, make sure to always proofread each and every document that you’ll be including in your job application - cover letter included.

The last thing you want is to be claiming you’re a great candidate for the job with a cover letter full of typos!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you still have some questions about cover letters? Check out the answers below:

1. How do I write a simple cover letter?

To write a cover letter that’s simple but also professional, make sure to include a header with your personal information, a formal greeting to the hiring manager, an attention-grabbing opening paragraph, a second paragraph explaining why you’re a good candidate for the job, and a formal closing (preferably with a call to action).

2. What are the 3 parts of a cover letter?

The three parts of a cover letter are:

  • The introduction , namely the header, the greeting to the hiring manager, and the opening paragraph.
  • The sales pitch is usually the body of the cover letter.
  • The conclusion involves a formal closing and a signature line.

3. What makes a great cover letter?

A great cover letter should be personalized for each job you’re applying for, instead of being overly generic. It’s also preferable to address the hiring manager by their name and not use the overly-used “Dear Sir/Madam.”

To make a great first impression, you should mention 1-2 of your top achievements in your opening paragraph - the more job-specific they are, the better. Also, don’t stop at showing the hiring manager why you’re a great candidate for the job. Make sure to also talk about how you’re a good culture fit for the company.

Last but not least, wrap up your closing paragraph with a call to action to give the hiring manager a little extra something to remember you by.

4. When is a cover letter necessary?

Unless the job ad specifically states otherwise, you should always include a cover letter with your job application .

Even if the hiring manager doesn’t read it, you will look more professional simply by including one.

And that’s a wrap! We hope our cover letter examples and writing tips will inspire you to write a cover letter that will land you your next job.

CV and Cover Letters (Yummy Jobs)

Discussion in ' ICP Applicants Discussion ' started by Alice N , Jul 3, 2014 .

Hi! Now we have the application dates (14th July in case anyone hasn't been obsessively checking the website 3 times a day like me) I'm going to make a start on my CV and cover letter but I'm not sure what they're looking for and it's stressing me out. Does anyone have any ideas/advice they can give for the structure and what sort of stuff to include? I'll be going for operations, character performer and character attendant. Thanks!

mallory gatehouse Member

I would just think that they would want your cover letter and resume to be very professional and all the work experience you have on your resume to be relevant to the jobs they offer! That's what I'm doing at least! I've also added all of my certificates and general hobbies to round myself off

sam17 New Member

Just keep it as professional as possible. You can sometimes find information on some the the blogs about the program. Not many of them have anything about the CV/covering letter but if you look enough you can sometimes find some.

yummy jobs cover letter

Hello dear Sirs/Madams,

I've plan to go to the Tomsk for Master program, so I have some questions:

1- Is there any problem for Muslim and non-Russia citizen students to find student job here?

2- Is it possible that cover all of my expenses(I estimated as maximum 500 dollar monthly for living and tuition costs) with student job?(20 hours work per week)

3- Is Tomsk people have warm behavior with foreign student? or they avoid foreign students?

4- And finally please let me know current student job, types and salary?(outdoor, indoor, service,...?)

Thank you so much

Best regards,
