The syllabus has been posted on the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) website – icsi.edu, for CSEET students. The testing authority offers online classes to prepare students for the CSEET 2022 exam. It is anticipated that the sessions will last for 20 days.

Introduction of Company secretaryship of CS Foundation

This exam is administered by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and is considered to be a qualifying admission test for enrollment into the CS Executive Program." This test is performed four times a year, generally in January, May, July, and November. It is a standardized test conducted at the national level.

The test will be conducted in English, and the goal of achieving it is to train and certify applicants who want to pursue a career as Company Secretaries. All feild related student can particpate in cs foundation, except, fine art students.

Qualification requirements

Before applying for CSEET, candidates should ensure that they meet the qualifying requirements. If an applicant wants to be considered for membership, they must fulfill the minimal qualifying requirements established by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

A candidate who has passed or is due to sit for the Senior Secondary (10+2) Examination or an equivalent examination is qualified to enroll in the CSEET. Other than that, candidates who have Graduates/ Post Graduates are eligible for registration CSEET exams. However, students who have already passed CS Foundation Program or had cleared ICAI/ICMAI, are exempted from CSEET exams.

Only resident of India, are eligible for pursuing CSEET and candidates should least be more than 17 years old.

Introduction about Current Affairs:

Current Affairs assesses broad knowledge, whereas Online Viva Voce assesses communication skills. This topic exposes you to national and international treaties, innovations, sustainability programmes, action plans, and summits undertaken for global economic growth.

This course teaches students to the numerous factors that influence the economic world. Students are required to be aware of the numerous efforts undertaken by national and international organisations for the advancement of the country in the fields of science, technology, sustainable development, space exploration, and so on. In addition, the institution includes a viva voce where students are asked to answer questions by either listening to questions (audio clips) or speaking on a specific subject or defining a phrase, therefore assessing your listening and communication abilities.

Syllabus and Exam Pattern for the CSEET in 2022

There are four papers for the CSEET 2022 test in total. Each paper in the CSEET Syllabus is separated into portions based on the units covered in each examination section. Candidates should thoroughly review the modules and analyze the syllabus before proceeding.

CSEET Exam Pattern 2024

The CSEET exam pattern 2024 is prescribed by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). The exam pattern specifies the number of questions, section names, and marking scheme for the CSEET exam. Candidates studying for the CSEET 2023 exam should review the exam pattern before designing a study strategy.

The Institute will administer an Objective Type / Multiple Choice CS Executive Entrance Test. \Questions and vivas to assess listening, writing communication, and oral communication abilities.
The Exam will be a computer-based test (CBT) that lasts for 120 minutes, with a 15-minute viva voce on Presentation and Communication Skills at designated test centers.
Each paper will comprise Objective Type / Multiple Choice Questions with one or two marks each and four options with a single correct response.
There is no Negative marking in the CSEET Exam.

The following are the important points for the Viva Voce Exam of ICSI CSEET Exam:

The Company Secretary test is scored mainly on the candidate’s communication and presenting skills.
The CSEET 2023 Viva Voice will be worth 30 points.
The examination is 15 minutes long.
This test will be delivered concurrently/immediately after the CSEET 2023 CBT using Artificial Intelligence (AI) or previously recorded videos at the approved centres.

CSEET Syllabus 2023 - The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has released a notification announcing that CSEET syllabus has been revised from November 2023 session. ICSI has released the official syllabus of CSEET 2023. Candidates can check the CSEET November 2023 syllabus on the official website of ICSI before starting their preparation. Complete information related to the papers covered, topics and related subtopics included in each paper are mentioned in the syllabus. Note that in order to qualify the CSEET exam , candidates need to secure a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and an aggregate of 50% in all papers. Candidates qualifying CSEET exam will be able to register for CS Executive 2023 exams.

CSEET Syllabus 2023 - Paper Wise (Revised)

As per the exam pattern of CSEET, there are four papers in CSEET each having a separate relevance. By going through the CSEET new syllabus 2023 candidates can know the topics and subtopics covered in each of the subjects in CSEET.

Each paper is related to a different domain. The four papers covered under CSEET syllabus for November 2023 are given in the following table.

Cseet exam pattern 2023.

ICSI prescribes the exam pattern officially. Candidates preparing for the exam must check the exam pattern once to understand the given details. Any changes in the exam pattern by ICSI will be notified in this article.

Cseet syllabus 2023 - online classes.

To help students in the preparation, The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) also conducts online classes at its various chapter-wise and region-wise offices. Details related to the online class for CSEET 2023 May session are being updated by ICSI.

To attend the online classes, candidates will be required to fill an online form due to limited number of seats.

Candidates need to pay some fees for online classes in order to enrol themselves. The classes will be conducted by an expert faculty on the allotted time schedule.

Yes, CSEET online classes are conducted by ICSI on time to time basis for helping students in their preparation. A nominal fee is charged by ICSI which is to be paid mandatorily.

The cs foundation and cseet both are same cseet means company secretary executive entrance test

The entrance requirements for the CS executive programme have been updated by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Candidates will no longer be required to take the CS Executive Entrance Test if they have a graduate or postgraduate degree (CSEET). Direct admission to the CS executive programme will be available to them.

So, it is not compulsory to CSEET for bcom graduate.

The‌ ‌Institute‌ ‌of‌ ‌Company‌ ‌Secretaries‌ ‌of‌ ‌India‌ ‌(ICSI)‌ has opened the CSEET 2022 registration for the December session. The last date to apply for CSEET registration 2022 is October 15, 2022. Keep an eye on the official website or the link below for the latest information. The exam will not be easy one so one has to prepare thoroughly to give the exam. That means at least 8-10 months of preparation is needed to get the top score. The registration fee of CSEET exam is Rs. 1000; ICSI also provides concessions to candidates from certain categories. CSEET 2022 exam will be held four times in the year - January, May, July and November.

ICSI CSEET Previous Question Papers – Overview

Icsi cseet exam pattern 2024.

The exam will consist of 4 papers carrying 170 Marks. The subjects are Business Communication, Legal Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning, Economic and Business Environment, and Current Affairs. You will be given 30 Marks for Viva-Voce (Presentation & Communication Skills). The Exam duration of the ICSI CSEET paper will be 120 minutes. for each wrong answer, a 0 mark will be deducted. ICSI CSEET exam pattern 2024 has been set by the conducting body. ICSI CSEET 2024 exam pattern includes details such as the sections, questions per section, marks distribution, and marking scheme. Candidates preparing for the exam must know the changes made to the ICSI CSEET 2024 exam pattern. Changes have been made to CSEET 2024 exam pattern due to the pandemic. They have cancelled the viva voice session as well.

Icsi cseet 2024 exam pattern under new syllabus, icsi cseet marking scheme 2024, icsi cseet 2024 exam pattern: paper-wise, icsi cseet exam pattern 2024 under old syllabus.

ICSI has altered the CSEET exam pattern 2024 due to the Covid pandemic. The exam will now be held online as a remote proctored test. The viva voce part of the exam has been cancelled as well. CSEET 2024 exam will consist of 4 papers. The important highlights related to ICSI CSEET Exam Pattern 2024 are tabulated below.

As the conducting body has revised the exam syllabus, CSEET 2024 exam pattern has also been revised for each paper. The Jan session ICSI CSEET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on Jan 6-8, 2024. The exam will be based on the revised ICSI CSEET Exam Pattern 2024 and syllabus.

ICSI CSEET marking scheme 2024 varies for each paper. CSEET 2024 marking scheme is mentioned below in detail.

There will be 20 1-mark questions, i.e., each correct answer in this section will be awarded 1 mark.
15 questions will be asked for 2 marks each. Every correct answer in this section will be awarded 2 marks each.
There will be no negative marking for incorrect/unattempted answers.

THE ICSI CSEET 2024 exam pattern for each paper will differ based on the topics. The topic-wise mark distribution for CSEET 2024 exam papers is elaborated below.

ICSI CSEET 2024 Exam Pattern for Paper 1

Paper 1 for CSEET 2024 is based on Business Communication. 30 questions will be asked in ICSI CSEET Paper 1 for 50 marks. Check the topic-wise mark allotment for the Business Communication paper below.

ICSI CSEET 2024 Exam Pattern for Paper 2

ICSI CSEET 2024 Paper 2 is divided into parts A and B, with 25 marks each. Part A is Legal Aptitude, and Part B is Logical Reasoning. This paper tests the candidates’ understanding of basic Laws and assesses their Logical Reasoning Skills.

ICSI CSEET 2024 Exam Pattern for Paper 3

Paper 3 for ICSI CSEET 2024 is based on Economics and Business Environment. This paper is also divided into two parts with 25 marks each. Candidates will be asked questions based on the concepts of Micro and Macroeconomics related to the Indian Economic System and various other important Elements of the Business Environment.

ICSI CSEET 2024 Exam Pattern for Paper 4

Like the previous two papers, CSEET 2024 Paper 4 is divided into two parts with 25 marks each. Part A is based on Current Affairs, whereas Part B is based on Presentation & Communication Skills. Candidates will be assessed on their knowledge of National and International Current Affairs. Part B focuses on testing the Writing and Listening Skills of the candidates.
