Let’s get creative and patriotic in the kitchen! This activity is great fun for children of all ages. Younger kids can arrange salads or fruits in the design of the tricolour. Older kids can try their hands at frosting a cake with three colours. And, children ready to try some more elaborate recipes can try a rice arrangement with portions of Schezwan rice, plain rice and coriander rice, or a pasta serving with a tomato-based sauce, cheesy sauce and pesto sauce to get the all the three colours on a single serving dish. 5. DIY Tricolour Badge   

Prepare a badge that you can pin up on your shirt to show your love and pride for India. You will need a card paper cut into a small circle for the base of your badge. Cut out small strips of orange, green and white ribbon. Fold the ribbons in half. Paste the orange ribbons along the edge of the circle. Now, leave some gap and start pasting the white ribbon a little below the orange. In the innermost circle, paste the green ribbons. In the space left in the centre, write down your name. People gave sacrifices of their lives for independence because they could not follow Islam independently and could not perform their religious duties properly in sub – continent. They were punished or disturbed when they perform their religious duties. It offended Muslims but as they were weak nation, they could not do anything. Pakistan came into being after the sacrifices of countless lives. Many of our ancestors lost their lives only for the freedom of their imminent generations, for the sake of independent land where all the Muslims can offer their religious duties with their own wish and freedom.

As citizens of free Pakistan, we must reflect on the values and principles which were in the minds and hearts of those who fought and sacrificed for our freedom. They portrayed inspiration from the values nurtured in the country through ages. Now we are living as an independent nation, which is enjoying all the beauties, charismas of their own homeland. Being an independent and self-respective nation, it’s our duty to serve our country with our best. We should work whole heartedly and with complete devotion for the development of our beloved homeland, we should not forget the sacrifices of our ancestors and national leaders whole made this land happen as an unrestricted territory for us to live. It’s the time to work with that passion which was in the bloods of our national heroes who fought for our freedom; it’s the time for the strong commitment with us for the betterment of our holy land. We should not compromise on our integrity and would not let our freedom and integrity being used by other dominant powers in the world. At this independent day let we rethink about our plans, our actions and their outcomes. We all should pray at this day of best for our pious land and promise ourselves that we would not let any harm on it and will work for its defense till the day of our last breath.

Independence is the state of being free in your life from unnecessary restrictions. You are free when there is no restriction upon you in your way of spending your life. It is the state in which an individual is free in the way of practicing his religious beliefs, cultural values and other ways of life. Contrary to that, when there are hindrance and restrictions on your way of living a life of choice, it is called slavery. A slave is not free to live a life of his choice.

Before 14th August, 1947 our ancestors lived under the yoke of British. The very identity, culture, religious values and the future of future generation lived under the yoke of British.

It was an extremely agonizing situation. But Muslims, under the lead and command of Quaid Azam and other Muslim leader didn’t yield to the dictates of British. It was an excellent example of Muslim unity that we got freed from British yoke under the leadership of Quaid Azam and other Muslim leaders.

In this way, the efforts of Jinah, the dreams of Iqbal and a long held desire of our hero, Sir Sayed Ahmed Khan, became successful and we got freed in the name of Pakistan. Pakistan is the name of struggles and hard work done by our forefathers. Pakistan is the destiny of success, supremacy, regional peace and prosperity for all.

There are lot of burgeoning challenges facing Pakistan today. But these problems of economic down turn, political instability, poverty and unemployment etc, didn’t come overnight.

The long history of Pakistan, since its independence, is replete with these ups and down. Therefore, given these hard challenges ahead, there is a strict need of working hard for day and night for glory, supremacy and success of Pakistan. As Quaid Azam said.

 “With faith, discipline and selfless devotion to duty, there is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve.” Muhammad Ali Jinnah

Pakistan has passed through the difficult moments of history. It has successfully withstood the challenges of terrorism and external threats by enemy countries. It has faced the hard times with its neighboring country India during Indo Pak wars.

Simultaneously, it can not be denied that Pakistan has made progress in several walks of life. Despite having the great limitations and challenges, Pakistan has successfully proved itself to be an honorable and responsible stat in the eyes of international community.

It can not be denied that Pakistan has a lot of internal challenges right now. There are issues of Political stability, internal terrorism, external threats, economic challenges, poverty, unemployment, etc But all of these challenges require a strong will and great sacrifices to get solved. History is enough to behold that Pakistan has faced and passed the similar challenges successfully.

This day 14th August is there to remind the people of Pakistan their lost supremacy, prestige and national unity. They must hold tight the golden rules of unity, discipline and peace for their national success. This day should not be celebrated as all other days.

We should think deeply and contemplate over the facts as they are and stand up to the task of working for the development and prosperity of Pakistan as an ultimate goal. Nothing is impossible. It is again hoped that Pakistan will turn its side and will again be a super responsible and powerful country in the comity of nations.

Concurrently, the Muslim League, led by prominent figures such as Muhammad Ali Jinnah, emerged as a political force to safeguard the interests of the Muslim community in South Asia.

Demands for self-governance and representation

The Indian subcontinent faced an urgent need for self-governance and representation. The demand for greater political autonomy intensified as the people yearned for a system that embraced their diverse cultures, beliefs, and aspirations. The struggle for independence gained momentum as the desire for a separate identity for Muslims became a prominent factor.

The Lahore Resolution

On March 23, 1940, the All India Muslim League convened in Lahore, where the historic Lahore Resolution was passed. Pakistan Independence Day – August 14, 2024

Pakistan Independence Day on August 14 could be considered a double day of liberation. Muslim Indians also fought to be free of British rule and later re-armed to battle for their own nation-state, present day Pakistan —  once part of the Indian subcontinent. After the British put down the Indian Rebellion of 1857, the Crown assumed full control during the British Raj period. This lasted until Pakistan’s independence in 1947.  The Mountbatten Plan split Pakistan (comprised of West and East Pakistan) from India, creating an independent Muslim nation. In 1971, East Pakistan gained its own independence, becoming known as Bangladesh.  Today, West Pakistan is known simply as Pakistan.

The main Independence Day ceremony ceremony is organized in Islamabad, where the national flag is hoisted at the Parliament and Presidency buildings. This is follow up by the national anthem and widely circulated and televised speeches by the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan.

History of Pakistan Independence Day

The creation of Pakistan is an astounding one, and quite a unique occurrence in modern history. 

Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh were originally part of one giant territory called the Indian subcontinent. Ever since the religion of Islam was introduced and embraced in the subcontinent, peace was disturbed due to clashes and the oppression of Muslims by Hindus. To safeguard the Muslim minority, intellectual thought and philosophies were set into motion after the War of Independence in 1857.

The circumstances were not in favor of the Muslim community but, with courage and faith, the downtrodden Muslims residing in the subcontinent were successful in actualizing their dreams of freedom. In 1906, the All-India Muslim League was founded and, on October 1 the same year, the first delegation of 36 Muslim leaders presented their demand to the viceroy of India at Simla for a separate state for Muslims. 

The concept of Pakistan and liberation for Muslims would have remained a pipe dream, had it not been for one man’s superhuman efforts and struggle to make it a reality. Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a barrister and politician, who later on became the father of the nation of Pakistan. Jinnah was the leader of the All-India Muslim League from 1913 onwards, until Pakistan’s independence. 

Allama Muhammad Iqbal was another visionary who propelled the idea of the separation of Muslims from India. In his presidential address on December 29, 1930, at Allahabad, Iqbal proposed the idea. The Allahabad Address is now revolutionary in history. The name ‘Pakistan’ first appeared in a pamphlet called “Now Or Never” in 1933. 

It was quite a big day in history. Prominent Muslim leaders from all over India attended the session, and there was finally a legitimate solution to the centuries-old struggle of Muslims to gain sovereignty and freedom. On February 20, 1947, the turning point happened when British Prime Minister Clement Attlee made an announcement to grant India complete self-governance by June 1948. After multiple consultations with the British government and Congress leaders, the last viceroy of India, Lord Mountbatten, released the ‘June Plan.’

Both India’s Congress and the Muslim League welcomed Mountbatten’s plan. In July 1947, the British parliament introduced the Indian Independence Act. Separate provisional governments were established for Pakistan and India on July 20. Finally, the great subcontinent of British India was partitioned into the two countries of India and Pakistan on August 14, 1947. 

The partition was full of bloodshed and carnage. Since the inception of the idea of a separate nation for Muslims, Hindu brutality intensified and there was great opposition to Jinnah and the rest of the Muslim leaders’ ideas to create a sovereign identity for Muslims. Lineages and families were destroyed and tales of partitions are still collected and archived today.

After the immense force exerted by the Muslims and their Quaid the Hindus and the British both got to their knees and admitted the fact that Muslims are one separate nation and that is why they need a separate homeland to practice their religious obligations freely and without any interference from anyone.

On this very day of independence the Muslims of sub-continent came the world witnessed one of the biggest and the most brutal migration in the entire history, people were killed as the Hindus ordered an open shot scenario in which anyone caught Muslim was being killed, their belongings were burnt and in even in extreme cases the ladies and females were raped by Hindu extremists. 14th August Wallpapers 2015 Photos, Pictures These were the foundations of our independence and today we are independent but still we don’t appreciate this blessing and instead of appreciating we are cursing it.

Before the independence the Muslims were having a nation but there was no separate homeland for them but now we do have a separate homeland but unfortunately now the nation has lost somewhere.

It was most pleasant news for Muslim ummah that Pakistan took place on the world map. Pakistan is the symbol of integrity, efforts and sacrifices. Muslim of subcontinent were living a painful life and  slavery life. Slavery life is against the Muslim integrity. Muslim can die with hunger but can never live like slaves because this is against his nature. Pakistan has historical and an ideological back ground. Pakistan on the earth is not less than miracle. Our home land is the result of restless efforts of subcontinent people.

Pakistan is the combination of two words “Pak” and “Stan” Pak mean pious and Stan mean land it means land of pious. There was dream of Muslim of subcontinent to live their life according to their religion. For these practices piece of land was necessary. For that creation of Pakistan was come to reality.Independence day for any nation is like festival and the people of Pakistan celebrate this great day with enthusiasm and joy. Pakistani Flag has two colors white and green, white portion represents the minorities and green represent the Muslims. There is moon in flag represent the development of Pakistan and Star represent the affirmation and Five pillars of Islam.

Pakistan is the result of remarkable efforts by our leaders and whole nation. The Muslims of Subcontinent gave many sacrifices for several year as they were not allowed to practice their norms and values according to their religion as they were the minority.

However the efforts made by the leaders and people like Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Liaqat Ali Khan, Fazl e Haq, Molana Shabbir Ahmed Usmani, and also many other made sure that their sacrifices did not go in vain and they were able to provide the Muslims an independent homeland.

The significant reason of loving Pakistan is Independence movement itself. Today we know we are living in worst situation, there is to many problems suicides, corruption, load shedding, disorder of law, unemployment, floods, Europeans says we are exporter of terrorism, and where courts themselves cry for justice.

To see above all situations how we can feel proud?. Every one says what thing Pakistan given us etc. But i want to say here a famous Quote ‘Ask not what Pakistan has given to us; just ask what we have done for Pakistan’.
