இ யக்குனர் ஆனந்தராஜன் இயக்கத்தில் ஸ்ரீராம் கார்த்தி, க்ரிஷா க்ருப், யோக்ஜேபி, சுரேஷ் மேனன் மற்றும் போஸ் வெங்கட் உள்ளிட்ட நட்சத்திரங்களின் நடிப்பில் உருவாகி வெளிவந்திருக்கும் படம் தான் “யுத்த காண்டம்”.

Moviewood என்ற ஓடிடி தளத்தில் வெளியாகியுள்ளது இப்படம்.

நாயகன் ஸ்ரீராம் கார்த்தியின் கண்முன்னே, தனது காதலியான க்ரிஷா க்ரூப்பை கடத்தி விடுகிறார்கள். காதலியை கடத்தி விட்டதாக அருகிலுள்ள போலீஸ் காவல்நிலையத்தில் புகார் அளிக்கச் செல்கிறார் ஸ்ரீராம்.

அங்கு, இன்ஸ்பெக்டராக வரும் யோக்ஜேபி, மிகவும் அலட்சியமாகவும், தகாத வார்த்தைகளிலும் பேசி ஸ்ரீராமை கோபத்துக்குள்ளாக்கிறார். இதனால் யோக்ஜேபியை தாக்கி விடுகிறார் ஸ்ரீராம்.

ஸ்ரீராமை கைது செய்து ஜெயிலில் அடைத்துவிடுகிறார் யோக்ஜேபி. இந்நிலையில், யதேச்சையாக க்ரிஷா குருப் யோக் ஜேப்யின் கையில் சிக்க, அவரை டார்ச்சர் செய்கிறார் .

அதுமட்டுமல்லாமல், வில்லனாக வரும் சுரேஷ்மேனனும் க்ரிஷாவை தேடி அலைகிறார்.

யோக்ஜேபியிடம் இருந்தும், சுரேஷ் மேனனிடம் இருந்தும் தனது காதலியை ஸ்ரீராம் எப்படி காப்பாற்றினார்.? எதற்காக சுரேஷ் மேனன் க்ரிஷா குருப்பை தேடுகிறார்..?? என்பதே படத்தின் மீதிக் கதை.

முழுக்க முழுக்க சிங்கிள் ஷாட் படமாக எடுக்கப்பட்டிருப்பதால், படம் மிகுந்த கவனம் ஈர்க்கிறது. படம் முழுக்க முழுக்க காவல்நிலையத்தை சுற்றி நடப்பதால், படம் மேலும் சுவாரஸ்யம் கூட்டுகிறது.

கதை முழுவதும் ஒரே இரவில் நடைபெறுவதால், அடுத்து என்ன நடக்கும் என்ற எதிர்பார்ப்பை ஒவ்வொரு காட்சியிலும் கொடுத்திருந்தார் இயக்குனர். சிறிய கதை என்றாலும், அதை ரசிக்கும்படியாக கொடுத்திருப்பது இயக்குனரின் திறமை.

என்கெளண்டர் ஸ்பெஷலிஸ்டாக வரும் போஸ் வெங்கட், தனது கதாபாத்திரத்திற்கு உயிர் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார். படத்தின் வசனங்களை இவரே எழுதி, அதை கவனிக்கவும் வைத்திருக்கிறார் என்பது கூடுதல் மகிழ்ச்சி.

யோக்ஜேபியின் நடிப்பு கவனிக்க வைத்தது. டப்பிங் அவரே கொடுத்திருந்தால், கதாபாத்திரத்திற்கு இன்னும் கூடுதல் உயிர் கிடைத்திருக்கும்.

படத்தின் மிகப்பெரும் பலமே ஒளிப்பதிவு தான். ஒவ்வொரு காட்சியையும் அவ்வளவு மெனக்கெடலாக கொடுத்திருக்கின்றனர்.

CIFF Day 6 The one star is for the cinematography. Hated everything else about it. Bad performances, even worse writing. The hero got so annoying after a point that audience cheered so loudly when he got hit by the villain in what was obviously an emotional scene.

There's obviously a lot of hardwork behind making it a single shot, but there's literally nothing that sticks apart from that.

• Cobra Featuring Vikram in the lead role, the film’s story revolves around Mathi, a mathematician genius who lives with another identity, Cobra, and commits intelligent crimes using math. Directed by R Ajay Gnanamuthu, the film also features Irfan Pathan and Srinidhi Shetty.
• Ponniyin Selvan I The first part of Mani Ratnam’s epic period drama, Ponniyin Selvan I, opened in theatres in 2022. Featuring actors Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi Aishwarya Rau Bachchan, Trisha Krishnan, Prakash Raj, and Sobhita Dulipala, among others, the film was quite successful. The film tells a fictional account of the early life of Arulmozhivarman (Ponniyin Selvan), who would become the Chola emperor Rajaraja I (947–1014).
• Ponniyin Selvan II Turning out to be another big hit after the first part, the 2023 film focuses on the tragic love story of the characters played by Vikram and Aishwarya Rai. while also exploring the rise of Arunmozhi Varman as the renowned emperor Rajaraja.

• Thangalaan Directed by Pa Ranjith, the Tamil film Thangalaan is focused on a true story from the Kolar Gold Fields during British rule in India. Having been in production for quite some time now, the film features Vikram in the lead role, while Parvathy and Malavika Mohanan play female leads. The film is yet to be released.
• Dhruva Natchathiram Vikram will be next seen in the upcoming film Dhruva Natchathiram Chapter One – Yuddha Kaadam. Already facing multiple delays, the film awaits its theatrical release this year.
