The TikToker is said to have passed on yesterday, 30th March 2023. Ahoufe reportedly died in his apartment situated at Kumasi.

Ghanaian social media sensation Ahuofe has died in Kumasi, reports making rounds on the internet have indicated he is dead.

It is not yet known when Ahuofe passed away but the reports surfaced online on Thursday, March 30.

Although TUKO.co.ke could not independently verify the news, Ghana's news website YEN.com reported that calls to independently verify the reports did not go through, although a popular Kumasi-based rapper , Jay Bhad of Asakaa Boys fame, gave credence to the reports.

In a tweet , Jay Bhad shared a video of Ahuofe jamming to one of his songs with a caption about how life is short.

Later, TV3 posted one of the old videos Ahuofe as a tribute to him.

Popular Ghanaian comic rapper and social media sensation Ahuofe Abrantie, popularly known as ‘Ghana Tupac’ has passed away, local news outlets have confirmed.

Although details surrounding Ahuofe’s death are still sketchy at the moment, they said he died in his apartment in Kumasi in the early hours on Thursday shortly after concluding 16-hour live-streaming.

He was aged 21.

Popular Kumasirapper, Jay Bhad of Asakaa Boys fame posted a cryptic video of Ahuofe and captioned it, “Life too short, rest well Ahuofe, you gone (sic) be miss 4ever.”

TV3 Ghana also confirmed the death of the Tik Tok sensation with his video and a caption that read, “Popular Ghanaian Tik Toker, Ahuofe reportedly dead.”

Ahuofe rose to fame some months ago thanks to his mild resemblance to late American rapper Tupac Shakur, taking advantage of that by taking over the persona of the real Tupac including the gangster lifestyle of the late rapper.

He regularly posts videos of himself on TikTok rapping and wearing big jewellery while gallivanting around, a culture that was vastly popular with rappers in the United States during the 80s and 90s.

The comedian had amassed an impressive 3.9 million followers and over 39.8 million viewers on his TikTok’s 217 videos as at the time of filing this report.

Ahoufe passed away on Thursday.

The cause of his death had not been made public yet, leaving many speculating he might have been doing drugs.

Ahuofe is  known for dressing and talking like a ‘gangster’.

His mum has eulogized him saying;

"He was admitted in the hospital for two days before his passing.

The rumour that he was abusing drugs is false. I broke down in tears when the doctor confirmed his death. I thank his fans for the love. May God see us through."

Ahuofe's mum who is fondly known as Mama gee says it brought him joy seeing how happy his son made on social media.

"He had no health condition."

His TikTok page has over 3.9 million followers and over 39.8 million viewers on his Tik Tok’s 217 videos.

On his Instagram page, news of his death was confirmed with a Bible verse of 2nd corinthians 5-8.

"We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord."

Ahuofe, a well-known Ghanaian TikTok celebrity better known as “Ghana 2Pac,” has passed away. On March 30, the influencer unexpectedly departed away in his apartment in Kumasi, Ghana’s Ashanti Region’s capital.

Ahuofe’s death’s official cause has not yet been made public. The internet celebrity was well-known for his comedic films that made people laugh and for mimicking rapper 2Pac. Millions of his TikTok fans were shocked to learn of his passing.

Announcing his passing on Facebook, actor Kasule Douglas ‘Benda’ wrote: “News emerging from Kumasi, Ghana states that Tik toker Ahoufe, a.k.a. Ghanaian Tupac Shakur, has died away. The demise of the Tik Tok phenomenon has also been confirmed by Ghana’s national TV.

Although the official cause of Ahoufe’s death has not been made public, some reports contend that the influencer passed away from a drug overdose. For confirmation of the cause, the postmortem report is awaited. The internet celebrity had gone live on TikTok just hours before he passed away to engage with his followers.

With time, Ahuofe’s face and facial expressions started to appear in social media memes and stickers, and he also rose to fame on Facebook and Instagram. He had over 4 million followers, over 40 million likes, and over 150 million views on the 217 videos he had posted to his TikTok page at the time of his death.

His fans are in disbelief over the social media star’s passing. TikTok Star Ghana Ahuofe 2pac buried, Corpse made to stand [Video]

Late Ghanaian TikTalker Ahuofe 2Pac, has been buried.

Ahuofe 2Pac’s funeral – held at the Angola-Kumasi Anana Paado Durbar Ground April 29, 2023, predictably attracted patronage from some notable celebs including Aka Ebenezer, Vivian Jill, Seniorman Leyla, Bilato among others.

The 30-year-old popular Tiktoker’s death on 30th March,2023, sparked mixed reports regarding to the cause of his death.

This is simply because he appeared on Tik Tok the day before he died. It was reported that the late socialite died from drug overdose. But speaking in an exclusive interview with    his mother debunked the report.

According to the mourning mother, her son was sick for a while before he passed on at the hospital.

Contrary to the widespread speculations that the late Socialite was a hardened criminal and gangster, “he was a very calm and collected person who tried his possible best to stay out of trouble”. She solemnly said

Although she admitted that Ahuofe took in alcohol on some occasions , she affirmed that he wasn’t a habitual drunker nor did he use narcotic drugs.
