Total sale of the animal (for 50 goats (25 kg per goat), costs Rs. 250 per Kg)

So, total weight for 50 goats is 50×25 = 1250 Kg

From the 100 goats most of the milk we feed to goats and remaining milk 4 to 5 liters of milk we sell every day at a very good rate.

The best part of goat farming which I mostly like after taking production and raising of the goat is that After selling and getting profit the female goat is remaining in the farm for next production that’s the beauty of goat farming.

The average cost of those bucks and doe is around Rs. 2000 and Rs. 1500 at the age of 9-10 months. Therefore, the Total cost of Goats for Goat Framing is Rs. 20000 for Male Goats and Rs. 75000 for male Goats which accounts for Rs.95,000 for Goats.
In this economic semi-intensive Goat Farming system, grazing outside is allowed for about 5-6 hours a day that is free of cost.
The labor cost is of course zero as the Goat Farmer himself pays for his daily routine work.
The goat farmer has to give concentrate feed to the Goats that is considered to be Rs. 2000 per quintal which incursRs. 20000 per month.
The Goat fertility rate is considered to be 90% and mortality @5%.
The cost of feeding equipment is around Rs. 20 each.
The insurance premium for Goats is 4% of the animal cost.
The selling price of Adult parent goat is Rs. 1500 and 16-month-old goat is Rs. 2000 and grower goat i.e 8 months old is Rs. 1200 and weaner kit @Rs. 500 each.

With regards to the last two questions, think about your answers from the customers’ perspective. And don’t be afraid to ask your competitors’ customers what they like most and least about them.

The final part of your competitive analysis section is to document your areas of competitive advantage. For example:

Will you make it easier for your customers to acquire your products?
Will you offer products or services that your competition doesn’t?
Will you provide better customer service?
Will you offer better pricing?

Think about ways you will outperform your competition and document them in this section of your plan.

Marketing Plan

Traditionally, a marketing plan includes the four P’s: Product, Price, Place, and Promotion. For a commercial goat farming business, your marketing strategy should include the following:

While the earlier sections of your business plan explained your goals, your operations plan describes how you will meet them. Your operations plan should have two distinct sections as follows.

Everyday short-term processes include all of the tasks involved in running your goat farm, including answering calls, caring for your goats, meeting with customers, billing and collecting payments, etc.

Long-term goals are the milestones you hope to achieve. These could include the dates when you expect to acquire your Xth customer, or when you hope to reach $X in revenue. It could also be when you expect to expand your commercial goat farming business to a new region.

Management Team

To demonstrate your goat farm’s potential to succeed, a strong management team is essential. Highlight your key players’ backgrounds, emphasizing those skills and experiences that prove their ability to grow a company.

In developing your income statement, you need to devise assumptions. For example, will you have 30 goats on your farm, and will each goat produce an average of 3 quarts of milk per day? And will sales grow by 2% or 10% per year? As you can imagine, your choice of assumptions will greatly impact the financial forecasts for your business. As much as possible, conduct research to try to root your assumptions in reality.

Balance Sheets

Balance sheets show your assets and liabilities. While balance sheets can include much information, try to simplify them to the key items you need to know about. For instance, if you spend $50,000 on building out your goat farm, this will not give you immediate profits. Rather it is an asset that will hopefully help you generate profits for years to come. Likewise, if a lender writes you a check for $50,000, you don’t need to pay it back immediately. Rather, that is a liability you will pay back over time.

Cash Flow Statement

Your cash flow statement will help determine how much money you need to start or grow your business, and ensure you never run out of money. What most entrepreneurs and goat farmers don’t realize is that you can turn a profit but run out of money and go bankrupt.

Goat and Sheep Farming : తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో గొర్రెలు, మేకల పెంపకం దినాదినాభివృద్ధి చెందుతూ అదాయవనరుగా మారింది. ఒకప్పుడు సంచారజాతుల వారికే పరిమితమైన వీటి పెంపకాన్ని, ఇప్పుడు నిరుద్యోగ యువకులు కూడా జీవాల పెంపకం వైపు మళ్లుతున్నారు. వాణిజ్య సరళిలో పెంచి మంచి ఫలితాలు పొందుతున్నారు. గొర్రెలను స్టాల్ ఫీడింగ్ పద్ధతిలో అంటే పూర్తిగా సాంద్ర పద్ధతిలోను, మేకలను పాక్షిక సాంద్ర పద్ధతిలో అంటే అటు షెడ్లలోను పెంచితే మంచి ఫలితాలు వస్తాయని, క్షేత్ర స్థాయి అనుభవాలు స్పష్టం చేస్తున్నాయి.

వ్యవసాయ అనుబంధ రంగాల్లో వాణిజ్యసరళిలో దినదినాభివృద్ధి చెందుతున్న పరిశ్రమ జీవాల పెంపకం ఒకటి. ఒకప్పుడు విస్తృత పద్ధతిలో ఆరుబయట పొలాలు, పచ్చిక బీళ్లలో వీటిని మేపేవిధానం వుండేది. ప్రస్తుతం పచ్చికబీళ్లు తగ్గిపోవటం, వ్యవసాయం వ్యాపారంగా మారిపోవటంతో, శివారు భూముల్లో తప్ప, ఆ అవకాశాలు లేవు. దీంతో దేశంలో జీవాల సంఖ్య క్రమంగా తగ్గిపోతూ వీటికి డిమాండ్ మాత్రం నానాటికీ పెరుగుతోంది.

2000 సంవత్సరంలో కిలో 80 రూపాయలున్న మటన్ ధర, 19 సం.ల కాలంలో ప్రస్థుతం 600రూపాయలకు చేరింది. ఏటా ధరల్లో గణనీయమైన వృద్ధి వుండటంతో ఈ పరిశ్రమలోని లాభదాయకతను దృష్టిలో వుంచుకుని ఇటీవలికాలంలో కొంతమంది రైతులు వాణిజ్యసరళిలో జీవాల పెంపకానికి ఆసక్తి చూపిస్తున్నారు. అయితే ఈ రంగంలో ఎదురవుతున్న సమస్యలను అధిగమించినప్పుడే ఆశించిన ఫలితాలు పొందే వీలుంటుంది. ముఖ్యంగా జాతుల ఎంపిక, పోషణ యాజమాన్యం, ఆరోగ్య సంరక్షణ, పునరుత్పత్తిపై ప్రత్యేక శ్రద్ద, ఈ పరిశ్రమను విజయబాటలో నడిపిస్తాయని కృష్ణా జిల్లా, గన్నవరం పశువైద్య కళాశాల అసిస్టెంట్ ప్రొఫెసర్ డా. వెంకట శేషయ్య చెబుతున్నారు.

గొర్రెలు లేదా మేకల్లో పునరుత్పత్తి యాజమాన్యంపైనే మంద అభివృద్ధి ఆధారపడి వుంటుంది. సాధారణంగా గొర్రె ఒక పిల్లను ఇస్తే, మేక 2 పిల్లలు ఇస్తుంది. ప్రతి 8 నెలలకు ఒక ఈత చొప్పున అంటే 2 సంవత్సరాలకు జీవాలు 3 ఈతలు ఈనాల్సి ఉంటుంది. ఈతలు ఏ మాత్రం ఆలస్యమైన ఖర్చులు పెరిగిపోయి రైతుకు నష్టాలు తప్పవు.

గొర్రెలు మేకల పెంపకంలో ప్రతి రైతు ముందుగా తల్లులను అభివృద్ధి చేసుకుని, వీటి సంతానంతో మంద వృద్ధి చెందాక అమ్మకం ప్రారంభిస్తే, పరిశ్రమలో రిస్కు తగ్గి మంచి అదాయం సాధించే వీలుంది. అయితే ప్రతి 100 జీవాలకు 3 ఎకరాల పొలాన్ని పశుగ్రాసం కోసం కేటాయించాల్సి వుంటుంది. సాధారణంగా 100 జీవాలు పెంచే రైతు, ఏటా లక్షన్నర నుంచి రెండు లక్షల నికర లాభం సాధిస్తున్నారు. వనరుల అందుబాటునుబట్టి జీవాల సంఖ్యను నిర్ణయించుకోవాలి. ఎక్కువ మొత్తంతో కాకుండా, కొద్ది సంఖ్యతో ప్రారంభించి, అనుభవం వచ్చాక క్రమేపి సంఖ్యను పెంచుకుంటే మంచి ఫలితాలు పొందవచ్చు.
