Source of Kennedy Rapudo's wealth finally revealed

The businessman has become well-known in kenya after he started dating amber ray.

In an extensive interview with Obinna, Kennedy Rapudo, the fiancé of Amber Ray, opened up about his personal life, his upbringing, and a lot of other little-known details about himself.

Kennedy said that during his formative years, he had resided in Kisumu, the Rift Valley, Western Kenya, and other places.

"Nilizaliwa Mombasa and then my mum had different jobs so i have been to different places. Nimeishi Kisumu, Rift Valley, western, niko kila mahali," he admitted.

Many people are unaware of the fact that Rapudo sold things like flasks on the streets of Nairobi as a hawker after completing form 4.

Not only that, but the father of two also ventured into the brick industry and poultry farming in search of his financial niche and the path to financial independence.

"I did that one and then at some point I went back home. Nilikua nachoma matofali. I also tried my hands in kufuga kuku. I have been here and there trying to hustle," he said.

The successful businessman began working for numerous oil businesses including TULO and Africa Oil after earning a Master's degree at the University of Nairobi.

"Tulikuwa tunafanyia different oil companies in Kenya. One of them was TULO. There was also Africa oil. We were doing research for them. After that I went back to USIU to do my second Masters because I loved their programs," he said.

Rapudo's entrepreneurial adventure began to take off eight years ago when he began driving multiple cars for Uber.

He would later get his biggest break with a Dutch travel agency, for which he planned tours for customers from the Netherlands, and it was just the beginning for him.

"After that I left the job in 2015 and got into doing some business. Nilikuwa na magari. After that I started working for a Dutch company, we were doing tours and travels. Mostly we were dealing with inbounds. clients were coming form mostly Netherlands."

Rapudo made the decision to launch his own tour company and seek out "God" after the Covid outbreak decimated the business he worked for.

Kennedy's explanation of how he acquired his income would undoubtedly put an end to the unneeded conjecture that has plagued her for the past year regarding his source of wealth.

Kennedy Rapudo, the fiancé of social media sensation Amber Ray, has recently provided a revealing glimpse into his successful travel business, which has amassed him a substantial fortune.

In an exclusive interview with Oga Obinna, Rapudo opened up about his journey in the travel industry, shedding light on his rise to entrepreneurial prominence.

Rapudo’s voyage into the travel industry commenced in 2015 when he entered the ride-hailing sector, managing a fleet of cars operating under the Uber platform.

However, his true breakthrough came when he secured a position with a renowned Dutch travel company specializing in organizing tours primarily tailored to clients from the Netherlands.

Reflecting on this pivotal moment, Rapudo stated, “After that, I left my job in 2015 and delved into various business pursuits. I had a fleet of cars. Subsequently, I began working for a Dutch company, engaging in the domain of tours and travel.”

Rapudo’s early life was marked by a diverse upbringing, as he moved across various regions of Kenya due to his mother’s occupation.

From his birthplace in Mombasa to Kisumu, Rift Valley, and beyond, Rapudo’s childhood experiences laid the foundation for his enterprising spirit.

Socialite Amber Ray is officially engaged.

In a video shared by Amber Ray on Instagram, the proposal took place at a beachfront and had a simple yet elegant presentation.

There was a red carpet and lit lamps and candles on the sides leading to an intimate set up where Rapudo could be seen going down on one knee and talking to her fiancee, seemingly asking her to be his wife.

Dazzled in a red dress, Amber Ray looked surprised by Rapudo's gesture before agreeing to marry the businessman.

The couple is currently in Dubai and has been out of the country celebrating Amber's birthday, who turned 31 a few days ago.

In October, the couple sparked engagement rumours after a video posted by Amber's sister Ellah on Instagram went viral.

Following the speculation and numerous congratulatory messages from fans, Amber Ray clarified that it wasn't an engagement. Taking to Instagram, the socialite posted a photo kissing Rapudo and explained that the event was an introduction saying it was "a huge step for us."

"Thank you all for the warm messages but, as usual....bloggers wamewatupanisha. It wasn't an engagement but an introduction (for parents to know that we are dating) which is a huge step for us," said Amber Ray.

She further asked her followers not to put pressure on them to get married as they still want to savour the joy of this stage of their relationship.

"Ebu muwache kutuharakishia. We are just taking a day at a time and honestly I'm enjoying every bit of it @kennedyrapudo I'm so happy I'm going through this journey with you," she said.

Kennedy Rapudo responds after Amber Ray hinted at physical abuse

In an attempt to address the public's curiosity and provide clarity about their relationship, Kennedy Rapudo took to Instagram on the night of Sunday to speak openly about the events that led to their separation.

The father of three began by acknowledging the intense public scrutiny surrounding their marriage, acknowledging that like any other marriage, they had their ups and downs.

"There's been so much activity concerning my marriage in the public domain these last couple of days. Like any other marriage, we've had our moments of ups and downs and ours isn't perfect either. A lot has been said but I've not had the strength to address it," he wrote.

Kennedy revealed the cause of their separation, indicating that it was an isolated incident that took place on the night of October 13, a night when both were under the influence of alcohol.

"Yes, we've separated over an incident that happened while we were both drunk on the night of 13th of this month. It's an event that should have never happened and I feel very sorry and in deep regret that it happened mostly to the person that I swore to protect and love with all that I had," he wrote.

The businessman expressed profound remorse for the event, particularly for the impact it had on Amber Ray, the person he had pledged to protect and love unconditionally.

Kennedy Rapudo defines his character

Amid the unfolding drama, Kennedy Rapudo emphasised that this single incident should not be used to define his character.

He asserted that he is not a violent person and will never condone domestic violence or gender-based violence.

"What caught me by surprise is the manner in which the writer chose her words! One single isolated incident doesn't mean that I'm a violent person - I've never been and I'll never be!" he wrote.

In addition, he highlighted his role as a father, raising two beautiful daughters and advocating for a peaceful and loving environment.

"I'm raising two beautiful girls and I will never advocate for any domestic violence or Gender Based Violence. I am man enough to admit when I'm in the wrong and on this one particular incident, I was in the wrong but it doesn't change who I am," he wrote.

Kennedy concluded his message with a direct apology to Amber Ray, acknowledging his wrongdoings and expressing his deep regret for the moment of weakness that led to their separation.

"I will continue raising my children the best way I can and fight for my family off the media. To the mother of my beautiful daughter, I am deeply sorry & sincerely regret my action in that moment of weakness," he wrote.

Businessman Kennedy Rapudo has finally broken silence over his separation with fiancée Faith Makau popularly known as Amber Ray.

In a series of statements on his official Instagram account, Rapudo said that it was true they had separated.

He noted that just like any other marriage, they have their good and bad moments.

" A lot has been said but I've not had the strength to address it. Yes, we've separated over an incident that happened while we were both drunk on the night of the 13th of this month," Rapudo said.

"It's an event that should have never happened and I feel very sorry and in deep regret that it happened mostly to the person that I swore to protect and love with all that I had." 

The businessman, in his statement, however, questions how his now estranged fiancée decided to make their separation public, insisting that it was the only incident that has happened between them.

Rapudo noted that this should not portray him as a violent person.

Rapudo also apologised to Amber Ray, the mother of his youngest daughter, over the incident.

"I am man enough to admit when I'm in the wrong and on this particular incident, I was in the wrong but it doesn't change who I am.

"I will continue to raise my children the best way I can and fight for my family off the media. To the mother of my beautiful daughter, I am deeply sorry and sincerely regret my actions in that moment of weakness. XoXO."

On Saturday, Kenyans woke up to a cryptic message from socialite Amber Ray that signalled separation from Rapudo, the father of her daughter.

Amber used her socials to share a series of posts, confessing that all was not well in her relationship.

“The love and unity that a marriage should stand on becomes blurred, and eventually it leaves you drained. I have been in that environment for a while now, and my peace and safety have made it impossible for me to stay. The bruises and scars go beyond the physical, and for my own sake, I have to choose me,” Amber Ray said in part.

She added, “I know it will be a long couple of days/weeks for me, but I'd rather be at peace inside than project a false haven on the outside. I'd rather speak my truth than let gossip tarnish what have built for me and my family thus far. Things in my household have not been okay... but they will be. My family will be okay. And eventually, I will be okay.”

Kenyan socialite and digital creator Amber Ray and her fiancé businessman Kennedy Rapudo's eight-month-old daughter have got the internet amazed at how stunning and beautiful she is.

What has left the people talking and surprised is how the 8 months old Africana Rapudo, is already a brand ambassador.

She is the face of Enkwanzi Beauty, a new brand created for baby products

The mother of two broke the news on her Instagram where she shared photos of her baby girl and the good news of their baby's first brand work.

This news came out with the family finally revealing Africana's face - 8 months after she was born. 

While sharing Africana's photos Rapudo wrote;

"As she grows, I witness the evolution of a young soul navigating the journey of life. Before the reveal, Amber and Rapudo had  held an extravagant party for the face reveal of their child 

At the party, Kennedy rocked an all-black tuxedo while Amber looked stunning in a shimmery brown body-hugging cocktail dress with black details at the shoulders.

Their daughter, the star of the show was in a pretty red balloon dress.

Some of the public figures in attendance included, former Kiss FM host turned content creator Oga Obinna, beauty and hair mogul, Phoina Tosha, socialite Risper Faith, TikToker Alma Mutheu, and comedian Eric Omondi and his baby mama Lynne and their toddler, among others.

"Hey guys it's your girl Amber Ray, Amber the brand and due to public demand, we have decided to do Africanah's face reveal.

"Nakwambia mtoto ni wa tajari so it had to be something huge ama ni aje? I am in love, hope mtapenda and even if you guys don't like it I don't care because I totally love it, " the mother of 2 excitedly said as she gave people a glimpse of the event's setup.

In a different video, their almost palatial apartment looked stunning as it had been transformed to host the guests.

All white sofas with gold details could be seen laid out on the balcony as well as an open bar area.

A buffet had been set out for the guests as well as canapes and a huge glass backdrop engraved 'Africanah to the world,' was laid out.

Rapudo rains money on Amber Ray

Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported that Amber and her lover held their gender reveal party barely 48 hours after another celebrity, Vera Sidika , hosted hers.

Amber arrived at the exquisite set gender reveal party venue in a chopper, wearing a long floral custom-made gown with pink, blue and white colours dominating.

The party was one of a kind , and from the decor to the venue set-up, it clearly indicated the lovebirds splashed money on their big day. Rapudo put up a billboard of his lover wearing a two-piece outfit and holding her baby bump a few hours before their gender reveal party.
