Long Speech On Happiness 500 Words In English

Good Morning, to everyone present here. My name is (your name), and I am going to speak about Happiness.

Most of us don’t feel the need to or have the time to think about what Happiness is. We know it when we feel it. But during these times of crisis, it has become essential to understand what Happiness is really about.

Happiness or being happy is a state of mind which is linked to positive emotions like joy and peace of mind.

Happiness can further be divided into two parts-

  • Short term happiness
  • Long term happiness

Short term happiness, as the name suggests, is the state of being happy for a short time. For example, you hear a joke, and you smile. You are happy. It does not necessarily mean that you will be happy throughout the entire day if you keep remembering the joke.

The next type of Happiness is the one that people desire. Long term happiness can mean when your hard work has finally paid off, and you can cherish it for a long time.

It is observed that people are very freckle minded. They want tangible things most of the time. The materialistic thing includes tangible thing like a new computer, new outfits, fancy foods, etc. But it is also true that materialistic things offer us a short period of Happiness, just like a joke does.

During a time of crisis is prevalent now, it becomes challenging to stay happy and positive. It is said that an ‘Idle mind is the devil’s workshop.’ Since we have to spend most of our time at home, we become easily bored and frustrated. Life seems monotonous. To stop ourselves from getting negative thoughts, we have to keep ourselves motivated and always look forward to life.

Sometimes, a change in attitude is all it requires to accomplish a tough task and now, living happily is a tough task.

The Happiness that we should strive to earn is something no one else can give us. It is something we have to define for ourselves. Personal judgments are often based on what other people may think to be right. Other times, being in an unfavorable environment for a while vastly affects our mood and our perseverance.

Being in a depressing environment can make a person physically ill. Stress, anxiety, insomnia, depression are a few of the common problems that unhappy people have to go through every day. It becomes a huge burden and destroys our will power.

There isn’t a single thing or a single button you can press to become happy. It cannot be achieved overnight. We have to take small steps to achieve our goal. Things that can effectively pave the path for Happiness are regular exercise, being in touch with nature through gardening, jogging, caring for people, sharing our thoughts and worries with others.

So, in conclusion, Happiness is feeling calm and at peace with our surroundings. Happiness is what we feel when we are satisfied with everything that we have.

5 Short Speeches about Happiness

Life can be tough. We all face challenges, setbacks, and moments of doubt. But amidst the chaos, there’s a powerful force that can lift our spirits and brighten our days: happiness. It’s not just a fleeting emotion but a state of mind that we can cultivate and share with others.

Want to learn how to bring more joy into your life and the lives of those around you? Let’s explore five inspiring speeches that will show you the way to a happier, more fulfilling existence.

Short Speeches about Happiness

These speeches offer wisdom, practical advice, and heartfelt reflections on the nature of happiness. Each one aims to inspire and motivate, helping you find your path to a more joyful life.

1. The Power of Gratitude

Ladies and gentlemen, friends and colleagues,

Today, I want to talk to you about a simple yet powerful tool that can transform your life: gratitude.

We often chase after big goals, thinking they’ll make us happy. But true happiness isn’t found in grand achievements or material possessions. It’s found in the small moments, the everyday blessings we often overlook.

Take a moment right now to think about three things you’re grateful for. Maybe it’s the warmth of the sun on your face, a kind word from a friend, or the comfort of your favorite chair. These simple pleasures are the building blocks of a happy life.

Practicing gratitude doesn’t mean ignoring life’s challenges. It means choosing to focus on the good, even when things are tough. It’s about shifting your perspective from what’s wrong to what’s right.

Start each day by listing three things you’re thankful for. It could be as simple as a hot cup of coffee or as profound as a loving relationship. As you do this, you’ll start to notice more positive things in your life.

Gratitude also helps us connect with others. When we appreciate the people in our lives, we strengthen our bonds and create a network of support and love. Tell someone today how much you appreciate them. Watch how it brightens their day and yours.

Happiness isn’t a destination. It’s a journey, and gratitude is your compass. By focusing on what you have rather than what you lack, you’ll find joy in unexpected places.

So, let’s make gratitude a daily habit. Let’s choose to see the good in our lives and in each other. Because when we do, we don’t just change our own lives. We create a ripple effect of positivity that can change the world.

— END OF SPEECH —

Commentary: This speech emphasizes the importance of gratitude in finding happiness. It provides practical tips for incorporating gratitude into daily life. This speech would be suitable for a motivational seminar, a corporate event focused on employee well-being, or a community gathering aimed at fostering positivity.

2. The Joy of Giving

Hello, everyone.

Today, I’d like to talk about something that might seem counterintuitive at first. We often think that to be happy, we need to focus on ourselves, our needs, and our desires. But what if I told you that one of the surest paths to happiness is through giving to others?

You see, humans are wired for connection. We thrive when we feel part of something bigger than ourselves. And one of the best ways to create that connection is through acts of kindness and generosity.

Think back to a time when you helped someone without expecting anything in return. Maybe you held the door open for a stranger, helped a neighbor with their groceries, or volunteered at a local charity. How did it make you feel? Chances are, you experienced a warm glow, a sense of satisfaction that lingered long after the act itself.

That feeling is what psychologists call the “helper’s high.” It’s a very real phenomenon where giving triggers the release of endorphins in our brains, the same feel-good chemicals that are activated by exercise or laughter.

But the benefits of giving go beyond just feeling good in the moment. Regular acts of kindness and generosity can lead to lower stress levels, improved mood, and even better physical health. People who volunteer regularly tend to live longer and report higher levels of life satisfaction.

Giving also helps put our own problems into perspective. When we focus on helping others, we often realize that our own troubles aren’t as overwhelming as we thought. It gives us a sense of purpose and meaning that’s essential for long-term happiness.

Now, giving doesn’t have to mean grand gestures or financial donations. It can be as simple as offering a listening ear to a friend in need, sharing your skills with someone who could benefit from them, or even just giving a genuine compliment.

The key is to make giving a regular part of your life. Start small. Look for opportunities to help others in your daily routine. Pay attention to the needs of those around you. You might be surprised at how many chances you have to make a positive difference.

As you cultivate this habit of giving, you’ll likely find that it becomes easier and more natural over time. You might even inspire others to follow your example, creating a ripple effect of kindness and happiness in your community.

So, I challenge you to try this approach to happiness. Look for ways to give, to serve, to make someone else’s day a little brighter. Because in doing so, you’ll find that you’re not just spreading joy, you’re also filling your own life with purpose, connection, and lasting happiness.

Commentary: This speech explores the connection between giving and personal happiness. It explains the psychological and physiological benefits of generosity and provides practical suggestions for incorporating giving into daily life. This speech would be appropriate for a fundraising event, a volunteer appreciation ceremony, or a community service initiative kickoff.

3. Embracing Change for a Happier Life

Good evening, everyone.

Change. It’s a word that can fill us with excitement or dread, sometimes both at once. We often resist change, clinging to the familiar even when it no longer serves us. But what if I told you that embracing change is one of the keys to lasting happiness?

Life is constantly evolving. Seasons change, technologies advance, relationships shift. Trying to keep everything the same is like trying to hold back the tide. It’s exhausting and ultimately futile.

Instead of resisting change, we can learn to flow with it. This doesn’t mean passively accepting whatever comes our way. It means being open to new experiences, willing to adapt, and ready to grow.

Change pushes us out of our comfort zones. It challenges us to develop new skills, to see the world from different perspectives. Every time we successfully handle a change, we become more resilient, more confident in our ability to deal with whatever life throws our way.

Think about a time when a change you initially feared turned out to be a blessing. Maybe it was a job loss that led to a more fulfilling career, a relationship ending that allowed you to discover your true self, or a move to a new city that opened up exciting opportunities.

These experiences teach us that what we fear losing is often holding us back from something better. They show us that we’re capable of more than we realized.

Embracing change also keeps life fresh and interesting. It prevents us from falling into stagnant routines or settling for less than we deserve. Each change brings new possibilities, new adventures, new chances for joy and growth.

So how can we cultivate this attitude of openness to change?

Start by practicing mindfulness. Pay attention to the present moment without judgment. This helps us respond to changes with clarity and purpose, rather than reacting out of fear or habit.

Develop a growth mindset. Believe in your ability to learn and adapt. See challenges as opportunities to improve, not threats to your identity.

Stay curious. Ask questions, try new things, meet new people. The more experiences you have, the more comfortable you’ll become with variety and change.

Be kind to yourself during transitions. Change can be uncomfortable, and that’s okay. Allow yourself time to adjust, and celebrate small victories along the way.

Happiness isn’t about having a perfect, unchanging life. It’s about finding joy in the journey, growing through challenges, and continually discovering new aspects of yourself and the world around you.

By embracing change, we open ourselves to a life of rich experiences, deep personal growth, and lasting happiness. We become active participants in shaping our lives, rather than passive observers.

So the next time you face a change, big or small, try approaching it with openness and curiosity. Ask yourself, “What opportunity does this present? What might I learn? How might this lead me to greater happiness?”

Because when we learn to dance with change, to flow with life’s currents rather than against them, we unlock a profound source of joy and fulfillment. We discover that happiness isn’t a fixed destination, but a beautiful, ever-evolving journey.

Commentary: This speech addresses the relationship between embracing change and finding happiness. It offers insights into why change is beneficial and provides strategies for developing a positive attitude towards change. This speech would be fitting for a personal development seminar, a corporate event focused on adaptability, or a graduation ceremony.

4. The Happiness of Human Connection

Dear friends,

Our fast-paced, digital world can make us feel isolated and alone. We’re more connected than ever through technology, yet many of us feel a deep longing for real, meaningful human connection. Today, I want to talk about why these connections are so important for our happiness and how we can nurture them in our lives.

As humans, we’re inherently social creatures. Our brains are wired for connection. When we engage in positive interactions with others, our bodies release oxytocin, often called the “love hormone.” This chemical not only makes us feel good but also reduces stress and anxiety.

But the benefits of human connection go far beyond just feeling good in the moment. Strong social ties have been linked to better physical health, increased longevity, and greater resilience in the face of life’s challenges. People with strong social connections are more likely to recover from illness, achieve their goals, and report higher levels of life satisfaction.

Loneliness and social isolation can be as harmful to our health as smoking or obesity. They increase the risk of depression, cognitive decline, and a host of physical health problems.

So, how can we foster these vital connections in our lives?

First, prioritize face-to-face interactions. While social media and texting have their place, they can’t replace the richness of in-person communication. Make time for coffee dates, family dinners, or walks with friends.

Practice active listening. When you’re with someone, give them your full attention. Put away your phone, make eye contact, and really hear what they’re saying. This kind of presence is a gift in our distraction-filled world.

Be vulnerable. Opening up about your own thoughts and feelings invites others to do the same, creating deeper, more authentic connections.

Show appreciation. Let the people in your life know how much they mean to you. A heartfelt “thank you” or a sincere compliment can strengthen bonds and spread joy.

Engage in shared activities. Join a club, volunteer, or take a class. Doing things together creates shared experiences and memories that form the foundation of lasting relationships.

Reach out to others. Don’t wait for someone else to make the first move. Invite a colleague for lunch, call an old friend, or strike up a conversation with a neighbor.

Be kind to strangers. Small acts of kindness, like holding a door or offering a smile, create moments of connection that brighten both your day and someone else’s.

Building and maintaining relationships takes effort, but it’s one of the most worthwhile investments you can make in your happiness. Each connection, no matter how small, has the potential to enrich your life in meaningful ways.

As you leave here today, I encourage you to reflect on the relationships in your life. Are you nurturing the ones that matter most? Are there connections you’d like to strengthen or new ones you’d like to form?

Take action. Reach out to someone you care about. Make plans to spend time together. Be present and engaged in your interactions. Because in the end, it’s not the things we accumulate or the achievements we rack up that bring us the most joy. It’s the moments we share with others, the laughter, the understanding, the feeling of truly being seen and appreciated.

By prioritizing human connection, we not only increase our own happiness but create a ripple effect of positivity in our communities. We build a world that’s a little bit warmer, a little bit kinder, and a whole lot happier.

Commentary: This speech highlights the importance of human connection for happiness and well-being. It provides practical advice for building and maintaining relationships. This speech would be suitable for a community event, a wellness workshop, or a social psychology class.

5. Finding Happiness Through Purpose

Good morning, everyone.

We all want to be happy. It’s a universal human desire that crosses cultures and generations. But what if I told you that the key to lasting happiness isn’t found in pleasure-seeking or material possessions, but in something far more profound: purpose?

Purpose gives our lives meaning. It’s the reason we get out of bed in the morning, the driving force behind our actions and decisions. When we have a clear sense of purpose, we feel more fulfilled, more energized, and yes, happier.

But what exactly is purpose? It’s not just about having a job or a role. Purpose is about contributing to something larger than yourself. It’s about using your unique gifts and talents to make a positive impact on the world around you.

Your purpose doesn’t have to be grand or world-changing. It can be as simple as being a loving parent, a supportive friend, or a dedicated teacher. It can be creating art that moves people, solving problems in your community, or working towards a cause you believe in.

The beauty of purpose is that it shifts our focus from ourselves to others. When we’re solely focused on our own happiness, we often end up feeling empty and unsatisfied. But when we focus on how we can contribute and make a difference, we tap into a deeper, more sustainable form of happiness.

Purpose also gives us resilience. When we face challenges or setbacks, having a strong sense of purpose helps us push through. It provides context for our struggles and helps us see the bigger picture.

So how do we find our purpose? It starts with self-reflection. Ask yourself:

What are you passionate about? What issues or causes do you care deeply about?

What are your strengths? What unique skills or talents do you have to offer?

When do you feel most alive and energized? What activities make you lose track of time?

What kind of impact do you want to have on the world? How do you want to be remembered?

The answers to these questions can point you towards your purpose. But keep in mind, purpose isn’t something you find once and are done with. It’s something that evolves as you grow and change.

Once you have an idea of your purpose, start taking small steps towards living it out every day. Look for ways to align your daily activities with your larger sense of purpose. This might mean volunteering for a cause you care about, mentoring someone in your field, or simply approaching your current job with a new perspective on how it contributes to the greater good.

Share your purpose with others. Talking about what matters to you can help clarify your thoughts and might even inspire others to reflect on their own purpose.

Be patient with yourself. Finding and living your purpose is a journey, not a destination. It’s okay if it takes time to figure out, and it’s okay if it changes over time.

Living with purpose doesn’t mean every day will be easy or filled with joy. You’ll still face challenges and have bad days. But having a clear sense of purpose provides a north star to guide you through both good times and bad.

As you leave here today, I encourage you to take some time to reflect on your purpose. What gives your life meaning? How can you use your unique gifts to contribute to the world around you?

Because when we live with purpose, we don’t just increase our own happiness. We create ripples of positive change that extend far beyond ourselves. We become part of something larger, something meaningful. And in doing so, we find a happiness that’s deep, lasting, and truly fulfilling.

Commentary: This speech explores the connection between having a sense of purpose and experiencing lasting happiness. It offers guidance on how to discover and live out one’s purpose. This speech would be appropriate for a career development seminar, a life coaching session, or a motivational talk at a university or professional conference.

These speeches offer different perspectives on happiness, from practicing gratitude and giving to others, to embracing change, fostering human connections, and finding purpose. Each approach provides a unique path to a more joyful and fulfilling life.

As you reflect on these messages, consider how you can incorporate these ideas into your daily life. Happiness isn’t a destination but a journey. It’s about the choices we make every day, the way we interact with others, and the meaning we create in our lives.

By focusing on gratitude, generosity, adaptability, connection, and purpose, you can cultivate a deeper, more sustainable form of happiness. This kind of happiness doesn’t just benefit you, it spreads to those around you, creating a positive ripple effect in your community and beyond.

So take these lessons to heart. Start small, be patient with yourself, and keep moving forward. Your journey to a happier life begins with a single step, and every day offers new opportunities to choose joy, growth, and meaningful living.

We feel happy and content when we accomplish something in life, get something new like a car, or house, a job, an admission, etc., visit a new place with loved ones, have quality family time, or get praise for our deeds. But, in the case of kids, they find happiness in trivial things, which for them, mean a lot. For instance, playing hide and seek, ludo with parents, visiting a park with grandparents, their favourite dish for dinner, an outing with family, bedtime story, a warm embrace, etc. Writing an  essay on happiness for classes 1, 2 and 3 kids  will allow them to explore their version of happiness and simultaneously learn the art of writing. Writing in points is advisable for small kids at the learning stage of sentence construction. Given below are 10 lines on happiness for their reference:

  • Happiness comes with the feeling of inner joy and satisfaction.
  • Happiness spreads positivity and cheers all around.
  • One can not learn happiness; it is an emotion to experience.
  • To be happy, one need not be wealthy.
  • Happiness cannot be stored or measured but can be shared or spread.

Happiness is a very common topic to be given to the kids in primary classes. Beyond complex statements, teachers expect them to write their understanding of happiness in simple sentences. Here is a paragraph that your kids can use as a reference.

Happiness is the most important thing in life. It is an emotion that can only be felt or lived. As human beings, we feel happy when we feel satisfied and content inside. I feel happiest when I play with friends in school and at home or go out with my parents on weekends. Family time makes me very happy. I feel happy when my mother hugs me before seeing me off to school. I feel happy when my father drops me at the bus stand before going to the office. I feel happy when we all sit together at the dinner table and share our day’s activities.

When students advance academically, they will be expected to write a short essay on the topic of happiness. Kids can refer to the template below to get some ideas and new points to mention.

Happiness is an emotion that an individual can only feel and showcase in actions. Many things make a person happy in their life. It can be a new home, new car, new dress, new toy, etc. But, in my case, I feel happy when I do good in my studies and my teachers, parents, and friends compliment me for the same. I want to achieve great success in my studies in my life and make my parents and teachers proud. My mother and father have many dreams regarding my future, and I would like to fulfil all of those and make them and myself happy. For me, the sense of achievement in life brings happiness and satisfaction. I feel happy when I learn new things in life and get motivated. I have understood that only you can make yourself happy, and I want to make myself happy with my hard work, passion, and achieving a sense of purpose in life.

An  essay for class 3 on happiness should be more detailed and have a clear perspective of the child’s experience. It can have many sub-heads for a better explanation of the topic. Given below is the template for their reference.

Life without happiness is dull and monotonous. Happiness is the key to everything, and it spreads positivity within us and to the people around us, and we cannot undermine its value. We should strive to achieve absolute happiness to lead a meaningful life.

Happiness And Its Benefits

Happiness is the reason to lead a fulfilling life. It is a state of mind that everyone should maintain and strive for. When we have a happy nature, we emit a positive vibe that attracts many optimistic people around us. Scientifically, a happy person leads a healthy life. Happiness keeps our heart health in check, our immune system stronger, and helps us fight negativity easily. Our doctor has asked my grandfather to laugh and stay happy to combat his health issues. He said you would not need these many medicines if you stay happy; you can get well naturally. As per him, a happy person can manage stress well and live a longer life. Happiness increases our motivation to do things better and take on new challenges head-on in life. Happiness is contagious; if we are happy, we can keep our loved ones happy too.

Discover The Inner Happiness

Happiness is the most basic thing that can be achieved with minimal effort. The key is discovering your inner satisfaction and joy, which can be done naturally. Finding what makes you happy is essential. It can be anything, studies, singing, dancing, etc. Drawing, giving food to the needy, and dancing makes me feel happy. My father has told me that if you feel happy doing something, you will excel. He said, when our minds and souls feel satisfied, the result of that action is always positive and worth mentioning.

Is Money The Key To Happiness?

Well, for some, it can be. But in real life, happiness is not subjected to having good money. Small things can make you happy. Delicious food, good friends, and relaxing family time can make anyone happy. I feel happy when my mum makes delicious pancakes on a rainy day, which don’t cost much. How you choose to see life decides your real happiness. Being happy is in your hands.

Ways To Keep Yourself Happy

  • Pursue your hobby:  Do whatever you like in your free time to boost your happiness. It can be painting, dancing, skating, swimming, or spending time with friends and family.
  • Count your blessings:  Be thankful and count your blessings in life. Remember what you have and not what you don’t.
  • Have positive thoughts:  It is a popular belief that “your thoughts make you”. So think good and positive about everything and everyone. And, you will be able to live with contentment.
  • Take one day at a time:  Don’t stress too much about the future. It will take its sweet time to happen. Live in the present and cherish every moment.

The most important thing your child will learn is the value of happiness in their life. They would learn to find joy in small moments in their daily activities and will also learn to structure such essays well.

1. Why Is It Important To Keep Yourself Happy?

Happiness leads to a fulfilling life and healthy. If we stay happy, we can keep everyone around us happy and cheerful.

2. How To Attract Happiness And Make It Last Longer?

Happiness is the most inexpensive virtue of life and can be explored in many ways. Our hobbies, likings and day-to-day activities can make us happy. Helping others and sharing can attract happiness in our life. We need to keep doing what is beneficial for our happiness and others around us to make it last longer.

Happiness can’t be bought but lived and felt. We all need to understand this to make our kids understand the same, and there is no better way than writing to make them learn.

Life can be depressing sometimes. Life isn’t a bed of roses, this is a very common phrase that we hear now and then. It means that life is filled with situations of ups and downs. And in those times, we as human beings can go through a lot of mental stress and pressure. This is when happiness plays its role. It is not easy to be happy all the time but we have to find our way to be happy and find happiness in all small affairs. This way we can be happy and grounded. It is very rare to find people who find happiness in small things. We have to be like these people. This way we can be grateful for everything in life. Happiness Speech for Students in English

The mental or emotional states of mind that include positive or pleasant emotions are expressed by a term called happiness. Research related to happiness has been conducted since the 1960s, in various disciplines that include social psychology, positive psychology, happiness economics, medical and clinical research. The only feeling loved by everyone. It can be achieved by enjoying the current life and accepting it as it is instead of thinking and trying to control the things which cannot be controlled. None of the feelings are under our control, whatever happens in life we have to just make a positive path and accept it. The goal in your life is to make the living worth which indirectly earns you happiness and pride. There are some values that can help us to keep happy that include friendship, love, and hobbies. The support from the people you love helps to create a positive environment.

Speech on Secret of Happiness

Happiness has different definitions, generally described as positive emotions. Most people talk about happiness, when they talk about the happiness they mean about the current situation or they might be referring to the sense of happiness in how they feel about their overall life. Happiness is a broadly defined term where social scientists and psychologists use the term “Subjective-well being” to express the emotional state. There are two key components of subjective well-being, everyone expresses both negative and positive emotions whereas experiencing positive emotions can lead to happiness. The work they are doing, relationships, achievements, and some other things in life should bring the satisfaction that provides happiness.

In happiness speech in English let us see the types of happiness:

Hedonia: It is also known as short-term happiness. Generally, it is referred to as pleasure. Leading the dream life, self-care, fulfilling the desires, sense of satisfaction, and experiencing enjoyment.

Eudaimonia: It is also known as long-term happiness. It is associated with completing the responsibilities, one should include the meaning that their life has meaning, purpose, and value. Investment in long-term goals.

Long Speech on Happiness For Students

Many people will not invest their time or they don’t feel the need to think about what happiness means, but they have an idea when they are happy. But in this modern generation, it is the most important and essential thing to know about the meaning of happiness. According to some researchers, being happy or happy is the term used to describe the state of mind that expresses positive emotions such as joy, peace of mind, well-being, and many more positive vibrations.

It is mentioned in the speech on secret of happiness about the types of happiness when you hear a joke or if you go through any funny incident then you laugh this leads to short term happiness that is for that moment or for a short period of time, instead if you keep laughing the entire day by remembering that particular joke then it is not termed as happiness. Thus most people like to have long-term happiness, it will be experienced only when the hard work done by you is paid off. Humans are often freckled-minded people, they will not have a constant mind or they will not concentrate on one particular thing, their mind changes often. People find happiness in materialistic things, these things include fancy foods, outfits, computers, some others. But it is important to know that these materialistic things provide short-term happiness.

Due to the current crisis, it is difficult to always stay happy, it is said that “An Idle Mind is the Devil's Workshop”. It is difficult to spend most of the time at home, we will get bored and frustrated easily. So instead of being silent or inactive one should always keep themselves busy by doing some work, learning something new, or should look forward to life. By following this they can be out of having negative thoughts. Living happily is a tough task. All should need an attitude to accomplish the task thus it is required to follow or including a good habit is necessary.

In the speech on happiness in life, happiness that we strive to earn is the one that cannot be earned by anybody else, it should be defined by ourselves. What other people think is right affects the personal judgments of an individual. Being in an unfavourable situation or environment for a moment affects the mood. Facing a depressive environment can make an individual ill both physically and mentally. Unhappy people always have to face problems such as anxiety, stress, depression, or insomnia. One can easily or by adding some effort can overcome physical illness, but it is very difficult to overcome from mental illness.

Happiness cannot be achieved at one go or overnight, there are no such switches that are turned on to be happy instantly. Achieving happiness completely depends on pursuing our goals. The path of happiness can include these things, regular exercise, caring for people, living in a peaceful and pleasant environment. It is often said that sharing our worries or negative thoughts with our loved ones can relieve us from stress.

Short Speech on Happiness For Students

When we speak about happiness positive emotions are the ones that come into our minds. None of the people can make us happy, we ourselves have to take care of the state of our mind. True happiness can only come when we realise the need for it. One must always be grateful to God for giving the desired things. Some people find happiness in small things that happen in their life, whereas some people find it in luxurious life, fancy foods, etc.

Doing what you love, being how you want to be provides enough happiness and confidence. Along with making ourselves happy, we can also make the people around us happy by loving them selflessly. This thought will make our surroundings or people around us happy; this indirectly boosts our happiness. Our flaws can be accepted by us as we know the reason for it, but the acceptance of those flaws by other people makes you the most loved person, this what gives real happiness to a person.

Happiness Motivational Speech:

The more we try to get happier the more it slips away from us, this directly means that happiness is not the thing that can be found in materialistic things but it is the thing that depends on one’s mental state. Here are some inspirational stories that let us see them go through them.

There was a boy and he had a very wealthy family. One day the boy’s father took him on a country trip. The main aim of the father was to show his son how poor people lead their life. They found a farm of a poor family and they spent some days on that farm. After that trip, the father enquired about the trip with the son, and the boy replied “It was great”. The father asked the son whether he had observed how the poor people had led their life, and asked him to describe deeply what he had observed. The boy replied by comparing it to the life he was leading as a boy of a wealthy family, he said that “we have a dog whereas they have four of them, we have a swimming pool to spend time and they have a big river which has no end. We have a very expensive lantern to provide light whereas they have numerous stars above them at night. We have a paved area, where they have a whole horizon. We have a limited amount of land, where they have endless fields. We buy the food, whereas they grow the food. We fence our house for the high protection but they don’t need any fencing to their houses as their friends support and help them in protection”.

By listening to the words of the boy the father was stunned and he couldn’t even speak a word. Then at the end, the boy added saying thank you to his father, he said that “ Thank you for letting me know how poor we are”. This speech on true happiness inspires us in such a way that happiness is not found in materialistic things instead it is dependent on love, friendship, and freedom.

Let us see another story,

There was a class of around sixty students, once the teacher told the kids that they are going to play a game and the teacher gave one balloon to each of the students. She then asked the students to blow it up, the students did that then she asked them to write the name of the respective student on the balloon which they have in their hands. The students did so, then the teacher asked them to throw the balloons into the empty classroom as per the teacher’s guidelines they did that. Now she asked the students to collect their own balloons which they have written their name on in a minute. They started searching for their balloons and the room was messed up but at the end of the time, none of them got the balloons in their hands and all of them were upset, then the teacher gave one more balloon to each of them and asked them to follow the same procedure and they again threw the balloons to an empty room. This time the teacher asked the students to get the balloons whichever they found and then they had to return them to the person whose name was written on them, now the students have got their balloons in a fraction of seconds, this time the students were very happy.

Now the teacher said that she conducted this just to inform the students that how important it is to help someone in their life, helping someone can make the people happy which makes the surrounding happy. This happiness is indirectly gained to each one of them.

Conclusion:

We have seen a happy speech, an inspirational story, and the reasons and causes of being happy. Thus we can conclude that being happy doesn’t only involve the happiness of a single person but it is the family or the surroundings that should be happy or pleasant. Happiness cannot be found in a single situation or it cannot be found instantly; it is to be found in one’s state of mind. Everyone deserves to be happy.

Speech on Happiness - 10 Lines, Short and Long Speech

Happiness speech -.

True happiness is a state of being that originates from within. It originates in our hearts. Despite our perceptions, it is untrue that material possessions or pleasures can make us happy. Having money never guarantees happiness, though. However, a happy person is always wealthy.

Happiness is an emotion that varies depending on the situation and person. The definition of happiness expresses perspective, similarly, it varies from person to person, just like their point of view. Nowadays, many people are looking for happiness; some are lucky enough to find it; however, some do not even have a clue about happiness. Here are a few speeches about happiness.

Speech on Happiness - 10 Lines, Short and Long Speech

10 Lines on Happiness

Every one of us loves to feel happy.

Happiness is a type of emotion like all other emotions, and happiness comes through letting go.

For various people, happiness can mean different things.

People, food, a particular item, and occasionally even a movie can make you happy.

A thankful person finds joy in everyday accomplishments.

True happiness comes from the depth of our hearts and is an internal experience.

An upbeat person will always be happy.

We ought to be grateful for the gift of life, which is so priceless.

By accepting things as they are and not attempting to control them, one can find happiness even during difficult times.

No matter what happens, we must always remain satisfied with ourselves, because satisfaction leads to happiness.

Short Speech On Happiness

The goal of all human endeavours is happiness. Every person's definition of happiness is unique. Some people can find joy in the smallest things. A few examples of what can make someone happy include helping old people, sharing an umbrella with someone who is getting wet, purchasing food for a hungry child, observing a fully blossomed flower, spotting a rainbow, and taking a ride.

Many people mistakenly believe that happiness and success are mutually exclusive and that to be happy, one must be successful. However, happiness and success are independent of one another. Even if you do not own a sizable bungalow, a massive car, a sizable bank account, etc., you can still be happy. The most crucial step is figuring out what makes you happy. Many people experience hardship because of their health, which ultimately causes them to feel unhappy and depressed. You must therefore lead a balanced life by eating well, exercising frequently, getting enough rest, and sleeping at regular times.

Focusing on the positive aspects of life is one of the essential elements of achieving happiness. Even though everyone experiences difficulties, focusing on the good aspects of your life and time can help you get through the tough times. These modest but essential actions will keep you healthy and happy while also keeping you fit.

Long Speech On Happiness

“Happiness is not something ready-made, it comes from your own actions.”

Dalai Lama -

Happiness is a mental state that is entirely up to us. The only ones wholly in charge of our happiness are we. Similarly, someone else's happiness will entirely depend on them. What people choose to be at any given time varies from person to person. Everyone is looking for happiness, but only a few individuals know what makes them happy.

Happiness: Point Of View

Since each person's perspective defines "happiness" differently for them, the state of happiness varies from person to person. A student or a business owner will tell you that their happiness is based on their successful careers. A saint would say that the true way to happiness is to pray to the divine and receive his blessings, whereas others may find happiness in making money and being seen as wealthy. Few people prioritise their health in order to be happy. Others might be happy with their successful careers and stellar reputations.

Types Of Happiness

Based on how long they last or how they impact a person, we can classify different happiness;

Short-term happiness | As the name suggests, short-term happiness means being content for a brief period of time. For instance, you smile when you hear a joke. You are joyful. If you keep thinking about the joke, it does not mean you will be joyful all day. Happiness can come from your favourite food, from playing a game, or from going on an adventurous activity.

Long-term happiness | It is the most sought-after happiness. Long-term happiness can show that your efforts have finally paid off, and you will cherish it for a very long time. For instance, passing your exams, finding employment, getting married, etc.

Where Can We Find Happiness?

Nobody else can provide us with the happiness we should work to earn. It is something we must individually define. There isn’t a single thing or a single button you can press to become happy. As a wise man once said, do not waste your time searching for happiness; it will not be with you unless you get it. A person's level of happiness entirely depends on the effort that person makes.

My Experience

I take pleasure in even the smallest things in life, but some incidents still bring a smile to my face. One of my favourite memories is visiting a water park for the first time with my family during summer vacation. It was a large park with various adventurous rides and activities. We all arrived there by noon, and my father bought four tickets for everyone in my family. I have never seen a rollercoaster this big before. We started on the snake water ride, then descended into the pool. Later, we had fun playing games and enjoying the pool together. We eventually became hungry and sat down next to the pool in an open restaurant. We once again took a few rides after lunch. Later, I bought souvenirs to remember this day. It was all exciting, and thinking back on those experiences still makes me happy.

Speech on Happiness for Children and Students

April 1, 2018 by Study Mentor Leave a Comment

Good morning respected principal, teachers and all my dear friends. Today we have gathered here and I am going to present my speech on the topic ‘ happiness ‘ and I am glad that you all have given me the opportunity to come up with this topic.

I beg you of your cooperation throughout the time that I am presenting my speech and I also beg you to pardon me for any mistake that I make while presenting my speech.

Happiness. What is happiness exactly? We cannot touch it, we cannot see it, we cannot hear it, we can only feel it. Happiness is a feeling. It is a state of mind when you are happy. You smile when good incidents, good memories, good happenings, make us happy.

There are many synonyms to happiness such as ‘contentment’, ‘pleasure’, ‘satisfaction’, ‘cheerfulness’, ‘merriment’, ‘gaiety’, ‘joy’, ‘delight’, ‘high spirits’, ‘well being’, ‘enjoyment’, ‘felicity’, ‘Glee’.

Have you ever wondered what inside your brain give the feeling of happiness? What triggers the switch button of happiness? For example when you exercise your brain recognizes this as a moment of stress your blood pressure increases which leads to an increase in the heart pressure.

Your brain is literally tricked into believing that you are fighting an enemy or fleeing from it. To protect yourself your brain releases a protein called BDNS (brain-derived neurotrophic factor) this factor has a protective and also a reparative element to your memory neurons with access reset switch that is why we often feel so much light and things are clear after exercising and we eventually become happy.

Another factor which triggers the feeling of happiness in our brain is the release of endorphins it is also a hormone which tends to minimize the discomfort block the feeling of pain and are even associated with the feeling of euphoria.

Endorphins are released when someone hugs you or kisses you? Remember that good feeling? Yes! That is endorphins working at your back to make you feel good.

There are many tricks to achieve happiness in life. But the best thing is to do good to other people and stay good yourself. Only by this way will you gain no enemies and lead a happy and comfortable life.  But nowadays due to modernization the crime rate has increased.

People have started staying busy more and more and loneliness leads to desperate acts of violence. If you are not happy it will also have many effect on your work and your daily life. Sometimes it can even affect your family life, your relationship with your family members can get from bad to worse.

Hence it is essentially important to maintain a satisfied and healthy life to be excellent in your workplace as well as your family life. Unless you are happy you won’t give off good Vibes to others and people will be usually irritated by your presence.

Here I am listing a few ways to stay simple and stay happy

  • Can you give 10 minutes to exercise, daily researchers have shown that regular exercising often keep people satisfied and happy, these give a feeling of contentment and that you have done something good to your body even if you donate 10 minutes of your regular life to exercising you can be contented throughout the rest of the day this will improve your impression in your workplace and not only this your body will also stay in a good shape.
  • Sleeping more everyday

You all know that sleep helps our body to recover from the day and repair itself it helps us to be more focused and more productive hence we can easily conclude that sleep is also important for happiness. A BPS research digest tells us study has been shown to prove that sleep affects our sensitivity to negative emotions.

  • Spending more time with friends and family because money can’t buy you happiness
  • Staying more outside happiness is increased by 57%
  • Helping others and doing good
  • Practicing the art of smiling- it needs no tax but it reduces pain, improves blood circulation and helps us to think better.
  • Meditation it’s like rewiring your brain for happiness.
  • Move closer to your workplace- a short commute is worth more than a big house.
  • Practice gratitude whenever possible- it increases happiness and satisfaction

I would like to conclude my speech by saying that never miss a chance to be happy always whenever an opportunity to provide others happiness comes in your way just grab it if you are happy you will lead a fulfilling life.

Speech on Happiness

Speech on happiness 1.

Good Morning Friends!

I hope that you all are enjoying your day so far! I am the motivational speaker and I am often called at schools and colleges to deliver speeches that can inspire young and aspiring student like you. I am very sure that each one of you want to achieve success in your life and if I ask you, what is more important for you ‘happiness’ or ‘success’; you would probably take seconds to choose ‘success’ as more important element of your life, which is good in a way. But happiness is something that can be achieved even without being successful.

Many people associate success with happiness and they feel that they can be happy only if they are successful which shouldn’t be the case because success is circumstantial and happiness is not. You can stay happy even if you don’t own a big bungalow, huge car or fat bank balance, etc. But the important thing is that you must first identify what makes you happy?

Everyone is looking for happiness but only very few people actually know what makes them happy in life. Even though life poses various challenges and obstacles in life; you should always be prepared to accept and overcome those challenges, but as far as our happiness is concerned there is no secret mantra for happiness and so you must try to find out where your true happiness lies. Always remember that your life would always be what you make it.

There are some basic rules which you must adopt if you want to stay happy and enjoy each and every moment of your life. The first and most important rule is to live in present. You might have failed in the past, but the best thing is to seek lesson from those and move forward as whatever might have happened in the past cannot be changed in the present; thus there is no gain in lamenting over the past. In addition, future is unseen; you cannot be certain about the circumstances that are likely to occur in the future. Thus, you shouldn’t make big plans about the future. Of course, you must be prepared for the circumstances but you cannot be certain about it. So trust me the best thing is to stay and live in the present because only that is what can be controlled and can make you happy.

Another important thing is to stay positive in your life and you must also watch your attitude towards your competitors and should never nurture ill feelings towards them. Always indulge into healthy competition and should never take your competition beyond a point where you start treating them as your rivals and get into any kind of enmity. You should only attempt to get ahead of them and not harm them in any ways. Having a compassionate attitude towards others is what will eventually give you happiness from within.

It is also important that you are not stubborn or adamant about anything. There is a difference between being persistent and being adamant and you should be able to differentiate between both. Your willpower must be strong enough to make you achieve what you want to; but you shouldn’t position your happiness on that particular thing itself. It is important that you are flexible enough to compromise on certain things.

Staying happy is everyone’s right, but it solely depends upon people as to what exactly makes them happy. Artificial or materialistic happiness is temporary; thus you must try to achieve the real happiness of your life.

Speech on Happiness 2

Respected Principal, Dear Fellow Teachers and My Dear Students!

We have gathered today to give farewell to the final year students of our Engineering College; post this day, you’ll get the annual leave for your final exams and then hopefully, you’ll head forward to shape your life in your respective ways. I feel extremely glad to host this function and I am going to use this platform to share today some important lessons of my life, which of course couldn’t have been taught in your curriculum.

I am sure that each one of you wants to succeed in life and wants to achieve the best for yourself. But I would like to say that always remain happy with whatever you achieve and never get disheartened or hopeless even if you face failures in life. Always remember that happiness is much more important than anything else in life. According to psychology, happiness is an emotional and mental state of well-being; the definition of happiness may vary from person to person, but the feeling remains uniform irrespective of the reason of happiness.

I have come across several people, who have every possible luxury in life, great bank balance, property, etc and yet they are unhappy. Most of us misunderstand that a successful or a rich person is happy; but the fact is that success, rich, money, luxury, etc have nothing to do with happiness. In today’s world, everything else can be achieved but happiness. I would like to mention that for being happy, you must be considerate towards everyone who is lower in status or earning. Always respect others and help people if they approach you.

Also, it is important that you pursue your passion, hobby or dream along with pursuing your career; because fulfillment of passion or hobby would certainly make you happy. Find interest in the field of arts, music, gardening, etc as these activities would surely energies you for new challenges at work.

If you are happy, you will always think positive in life even if you fail or lose someday. Success and failure are the two sides of the same coin. Don’t place your happiness on your success as success is a situation and happiness is one’s mental and an emotional state. Your situation may change any day, so you should not waste thinking too much about something which is beyond your control.

There are many people who struggle due to ill health, which ultimately make them unhappy and sad. Thus, you must live a balanced life; eat healthy food, do regular exercise, take proper rest and sleep on time. All these simple, but important steps would not only keep you fit but would also make you happy.

Happiness is everyone’s right but the way to happiness may differ from person to person. You must find your reasons for happiness yourself and move forward towards achieving them. Don’t ignore your family while you are on the path of success or career; because all these things may change someday but your family will always stay with you through thick and thin. Spend quality time with them, go out on weekends and share your happy moments with them.

Well, today is your day; so enjoy it to the fullest and always be happy.

Speech on Happiness 3

A very good morning to all of you!

Today is 20th March 2017 and this event has been organized in our colony for the celebration of “ International Happiness Day ” and it was founded by United Nation’s advisor Jayme Illien . Happiness has many meanings like gratification, triumph, joy, amusement etc. Everything that we do in our life is directly or indirectly connected to happiness and it can be for ourselves or for somebody else. Every creature in this world wants happiness. Everybody is afraid of getting hurt or to feel pain. There is a necessity to enjoy each and every moment in our lives. In this entire world, almost everyone is working hard to fulfill their needs and it is because of the happiness that we get from our satisfaction when our needs are fulfilled. But there are many people in this world who are not able to fulfill their needs and are still happy because they are satisfied of what they have today and they live in the present rather than worrying about tomorrow. So, happiness becomes a choice for an individual that whether he wants to link his/her happiness with his/her success or with the present. If you want to live a happy life then try to live in your present rather than ruining it by worrying about tomorrow.

In our lives, we go through many problems and complications but some people gives up and some fights for their victory. We need to understand that there is not a single problem that does not have a solution but, it just needs our hard work to find that solution. There are many people in this world who do not get proper facilities like food, shelter etc but they still tries to find happiness from what they have in present. In life, there is no need to connect happiness with success because failures could come in every person’s life many times and it is also important in its place. People have their own definition of happiness. For some it is success but for some it is not more than a sensual pleasure. The people who run after success or want to be successful forgets to live their lives in present but the people who lives in present or live a happy life are always successful.

If we want to be happy than there are many keys for a happy life. Many people have a habit of comparing themselves with others. For example: if I have a car but I found someone who has a better car then me and here begins the unhappy feeling in my mind when I compare myself with that person and which is a bad habit. So, we should have a feeling of doing better but we should not compare our lives with somebody else’s. We all should try to convert our lives from success oriented to happiness oriented because living a life without luxury but with happiness is far better than a life with luxury but no happiness.

On this note, I would like to conclude my speech and humbly wish that you all may get happiness in life.

Speech on Happiness 4

Good Morning Honorable Principal, Honorable Teachers and My Dear Students!

Today, this special assembly has been organized especially for the students as the whole world is celebrating “ International Happiness Day ”, we also wanted to spread a little happiness among children by a small celebration and for this we have invited some of the homeless children so that we could do something for their happiness. But before the celebration begins, I would like to say a few words on happiness. So, what is happiness? Although, it cannot be explained but still, it is a feeling of well being and fortunate.

You all should feel lucky that you all have got houses to live, school for education and many other facilities but there are many children who have not got these facilities and still they live happily despite of going through infinite difficulties. Every day I see many children with many facilities feels unlucky or thinks that their life is not good. This is very inappropriate behaviour of us. We should try to find happiness in everything that we have got in our lives and should feel very fortunate that we are blessed with these facilities. We feel happiness by ourselves in two ways. First, when we do anything for ourselves that makes us happy and second is when we do something for someone else that makes others happy.

In life, we should do something for others that could become a reason for their smile. Happiness always increases when we try to share them with others. We should do something for the people who are homeless or are lacking in facilities like food etc if you will do something for them then trust me, it is going to be the best feeling when you will see a smile on their faces that will came because of you and it should not be limited to the human beings but also for the other living beings also.

The most heartbreaking thing which happens for a school and parents is when students commit suicides due to the pressure of studies and sometimes of their parents. We should understand that hard work is a key to success and success is a biggest source of happiness because if there is no pain then there will be no gain. So we should prefer happiness rather than stepping back in difficulties. We should know how to find happiness in everything. Even we can defeat our difficulties easily with a smile. So, spreading happiness among living beings is a most beautiful deed that we can do in our lives. We should never give up in the hard times because at the time when we will achieve our success it will give us happiness.

On this note, I would like to conclude my speech and extend special thanks to our honorable Principal ma’am for giving us this priceless opportunity to spread felicity among people and I am feeling very proud in being a part of such a great event.

Thank you very much and I wish you all a great day ahead!

How to Teach Happiness and Meaning to Your Students

It’s why we teach, after all.

speech on happiness for class 3

“Why do people go to school?” This is one of my favorite questions to ask my students.

“Because we have to,” is usually the first thing I hear.

But they know my response to what I call “have-to-ism:” You don’t have to do anything, except make choices. You don’t have to follow the law – as evidenced by the many students who choose not to come to school. So, my students go deeper.

“So I don’t get grounded.”

“Okay, why do you care about getting grounded?”

“Um, because it’s terrible and no fun?”

“Okay. Hold on to that answer. Let’s hear some other reasons.”

“So I can go to college.”

“Why do people go to college?”

“To get a good job.”

“Why do people work hard to get good jobs?”

“So they can make good money.”

“Why do people want to make money?”

“So they can buy stuff and do stuff they like.”

“Why do people care so much about buying stuff and doing stuff?”

“Because it makes them happy.”

Ding ding ding! We’ve arrived at an end point. Happiness. Most students spend hours and years in school in the hopes of this end goal. We invest tremendous amounts of time and energy throughout our entire lives into this one major goal: To live a life of happiness and purpose. ADVERTISEMENT

We dive deeper, discussing various other things humans do, putting those things to the happiness test. Why do we go on social media? To connect with people or laugh or engage in conversation because . . . it should make us happy.

Almost everything humans do has this same end goal: To live a life of happiness and purpose. One could even argue that behaviors that limit or avoid pain are also about achieving happiness. We want to avoid being grounded because this punishment restricts happy and meaningful opportunities.

Apply this to your own life. Why do you teach? Happiness and meaning. Even filling out annoying paperwork or attending monotonous meetings is our way of avoiding punishment that prohibits our happiness and sense of purpose.

If happiness is so important to all of us, why aren’t we practicing and teaching happiness and meaning directly?

Consider this a call-to-action. Let’s teach the qualities, habits, and practices that create a happy, meaningful life.  Sound nebulous? It’s not.

I think we can teach happiness and purpose the way we teach any other subject or skill: We identify best practices, teach conceptual ideas to students, and coach and provide feedback on student experience and understanding.

Here are 23 practices for a thriving life, concepts that I have pulled from research and taught directly to hundreds of students. Each of these practices can be interwoven into our classrooms periodically, or taught directly as a class.

Happiness Speech in English for Students [Short Speech*]

August 2, 2021 by Sandeep

Speech on Happiness: Happiness is the most divine feeling of bliss and solitude in one’s heart. Every man needs to create his own happy nest irrespective of the circumstances he faces. Happiness is an underlying emotion that creates a positive frame of living. A man achieves happiness when he successfully reaches his goals. True happiness can be found only when we accept bad situations and testing times on par with cheerful times. Happiness promotes sound health and well-being.

Speech on Happiness 500 Words In English

Below we have provided a speech on Happiness, written in easy and simple words for classes 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. This speech topic help students to understand the secret of happiness in life.

A very warm morning to everyone over here. Today I am here to tell you all about ‘Happiness’.

Happiness is an emotion that defines our mental state. It is a state of mind when someone feels excited, kind, proud, or satisfied with something. True happiness comes from deep inside our hearts. It varies from person to person. For example, many of us sitting here may be happy to attend this session, but many may be disappointed.

Like that, many find happiness in earning money, good position & wealth while others find their happiness in serving, working for others. Happiness is like an art; the person who commends this art lives a satisfying life. The happy person is always positive & keeps moving forward even after hurdles in life. A happy person is always hopeful about the positive outcomes in life.

However, let me tell you about today’s scenario. Can anyone raise a hand over here who is truly happy & satisfied with life? Very few or almost no one. Today, people have such high expectations & so busy schedule of life that they are never satisfied with whatever they have or achieve in life. They do not find happiness in small things around them; when they achieve something, they keep hoping for more & more. Most of us always feel hopeless & sad about our life.

Everyone seeks happiness in life & finds out different ways to achieve it. Most of us achieve it, but that is always temporary. We all need to understand that we need to find happiness in the world around us. We need to spend time with the people or things which makes us feel good from within & gives us positivity. We need to spend time relaxing & relieving ourselves from day-to-day stress.

Searching for happiness in small things instead of always being disappointed is the key to a peaceful life. Spending time with family, talking to friends, having small get to gather with near & dear ones, celebrating festivals together with neighbours & many more, introspecting yourself to know what real happiness is essential.

We all need to learn the art of happiness, which does not depend on external factors. Live, enjoy each & every moment of your life. Start accepting the changes around you, as changes are the only constant in this life. I would like to end my speech with a very famous quote from Aristotle.

“Happiness depends upon ourselves.”

Good morning to one and all present here, respected sir, madam, teacher, and all my dear friends, today I am here to speak a few words about happiness in life, happiness is very important for people, to live life there are many struggles and hard work to reach the goal, and in this path there is the path of happiness and sadness, but the path of happiness and sadness is not always the path of the sacrament.

Ways to Be Joyful

Speech-On-Happiness-For-Students-In-Easy-Words-8211-Read

There are many ways to be happy in life; for example, we can be happy after achieving a goal that we have set for ourselves, such as getting higher grades in an exam, achieving a goal in sports, and people who are earning can be happy after receiving a promotion at work; parents can be happy when their children make them proud and if they earn a name in society.

The rich people can buy all the things that make them happy, but they cannot buy happiness with a lot of money, and this is the misunderstanding. There is a sad part of their life that we can’t get to know because they never bring it out. The rich people can buy all the things that make them happy, but they cannot buy happiness with a lot of money, and this is the misunderstanding.

Speech-On-Happiness-For-Students-In-Easy-Words-8211-Read

If you already know, it’s great, but for those who don’t, I’ll remind you that on March 20th, everyone celebrated International Happiness Day, during which people gather to speak about the joyful parts of their lives they share with others.

After all of the things have been satisfied, there is still a problem for some individuals who are not content or happy with what they have. We should always be pleased with what we have and never seek for more as this would lead you to the incorrect portion of happiness.

Thank you very much.

3 Minute Speech on Friendship

Good Morning to one and all present here. I am going to present a speech about friendship. Friendship is one of the treasures that anyone can possess. God gave us the right to choose friends because they will be with us forever. Our parents and siblings are loving us as they are our own blood. But a friend is someone, who is initially a stranger. Then they take their place in our life above all the other relations. Friendship is nothing but true and pure love without expectations in return.

Speech on Friendship

Role of a Friend

True friends always support each other even during the hardest of times. A true friend is one who feels happy for our success, on the other hand, who feel gloomy for our failures. A true friend may criticize also so that we may come out of our weakness.

He may scold us if we do a mistake and guide the right path. That’s why it is being said that true friend is more precious than any gem in our life. Love from your friend will always be unconditional. They may expect nothing from us but shower their love always.

Friendship – A Divine Relationship

Friendship is a divine relationship, which is beyond the definition of blood relations. It is the only relation that is truly priceless. We may acquire all kinds of pleasures by putting our efforts. But even then life may remain dull, without having someone to share our life with some true friends.

It’s natural that human being always tends to find emotional support and social life. In spite of having everything in life, we may remain in a vacuum. It happens only when we have no such good friend to share our small and small happiness in life. Friends are always there to listen to us unconditionally.

Get the Huge List of 100+ Speech Topics here

There is no Second Chance for True Friendship

Friendship will provide us with thousands of fun moments in life which we may memorize in our old age. But side by side, with times this relation may have moments of crisis. A misunderstanding may crop in and this amazing relation may start weakening.

Always be the first one to save the friendship. God forbid, if due to some unfavorable reason distance ever arises within this relation, we must not let our friend go. Hold his or her hand and apologize for any mistake done. There is nothing more pathetic in anyone’s life than losing a true friend.

Friendship is a relationship that is like a newborn baby. Friendship is always pure and like a bundle of joy which only needs more and more nourishment to grow. Never ignore true friends or take them for granted. We may come across various people at different phases of our life. Many may pretend to be our friends but never go by outward glitter.

At last, I wish to say that a good friendship is very difficult to come across. Therefore, we should appreciate this divine relationship having a base on understanding and feelings. We just need friends to live happily. Lasting friendship is a blessing for everyone.

We don`t need to pretend to be someone else when we spend time with our friends. They give us total freedom to be who we are in reality. We should always be grateful to people who make us happy. A true friend is one of the most precious possessions in anyone’s life.
