5. Avoid Plagiarism

It is not a secret that most information in students’ works comes from outside sources. All of them should still be properly documented during research. Besides, the writer should add all the resources to a reference list at the end of the paper.

Any source not represented correctly might count as plagiarism, which may lead to severe consequences. To avoid accidentally finding yourself in such a situation, use essay scramblers in your works. It will ensure that your paper consists of original and adequately cited content .

Out of all the points listed above, avoiding plagiarism is perhaps the most crucial reason to try our essay scrambler. After all, it is a serious academic offense that can lead to suspension or even expulsion .

So, let’s start with its definition.

By taking someone’s work (or its sections) and presenting it as your own without due credit, you violate academic honesty and integrity. This is referred to as plagiarism .

Students develop their thesis , arguments, and analysis to write a credible academic piece based on their research. They also have to incorporate some supporting evidence from existing sources. That’s when students should acknowledge the original creators they’ve considered for their paper.

It’s done in two ways:

  • By displaying the original quote in the academic paper with proper citation.
  • By adding its author’s name to the reference list at the end.

In academia, plagiarism can be either unintentional or intentional . In both cases, serious consequences can be imposed depending on the nature of the offense.

  • When plagiarism is intentional, the essay writer deliberately and knowingly committed an act of plagiarism. This could range from copying passages word-for-word to downloading complete works from the Internet. Overall, they present someone’s work as theirs by choice.
  • Unintentional plagiarism occurs when the writer fails to give proper credit. It may appear due to citation errors or the addition of invalid sources in the bibliography. Even when plagiarism is a mistake or an oversight, it can still result in severe penalties.

💯 How to Write without Plagiarizing

If you want to steer clear of plagiarism in your works, be sure to follow these tips:

  • Use proper citations. When conducting your research, document the sources of your information. If you are going to refer to a concept or an idea that is not your own, it has to be clearly indicated in your text. Double-check the citation guidelines approved by your institution. You should ascertain that you adhere to them when editing and compiling a reference list.
  • Refrain from copying. Even when you write a standard essay , try to use your own vocabulary and phrasing. It is a bad idea to duplicate excerpts or phrases directly from the source. Make sure never to copy and paste content – unless you plan to put it in a quote.
  • Incorporate quotation marks. The only time where you can copy content is if you intend to quote the source directly. You should remember to put the excerpt into quotation marks and cite it afterward. Ensure that you are not copying a passage that is too long. The general rule is that if a quote is over four lines, it is better to paraphrase it .
  • Develop your own ideas. It is the surest way to ensure you are not accidentally committing an act of plagiarism. Try to come up with new concepts regarding the topic. Mix them with the ideas from your research so that your observations and conclusions prevail.
  • Don’t copy yourself. What if you have already written on the topic? You may be tempted to repeat your thoughts or sentences from the previous works. Yet, it is also considered cheating. This is referred to as ‘self-plagiarism’ and can also carry penalties if discovered.
  • Use an essay scrambler. If you want to avoid plagiarism, your writing has to differ from the source while preserving the same meaning. You can ensure this using the essay word scramblers or similar online tools. They will provide a list of synonyms you can use in your work. In the end, they will guarantee your text is entirely original.

Word Unscrambler is a useful tool that facilitates and speeds up the process of playing Scrabble , Words with Friends and other word games. It helps to generate the maximum number of real words from any letter combinations that you get.

How and when did the words with friends and scrabble games appear.

Words with Friends game was released in 2009 by Newtoy. Already in 2010, Words with Friends became the leader of downloads in the iOS App Store. In 2017, the game earned the title of the most popular mobile game in the USA.

Such popularity caused a public request for a physical version of the game – a classic board game. In 2012, Zynga, in collaboration with Hasbro, released the Words with Friends board game, which now can be found with the “Hasbro Gaming” logo.

Scrabble history began in the thirties of the XX century in the USA. During the Great Depression, architect Alfred Mosher Butts was accidentally out of work and decided to create his own board game.

After analyzing the games that existed at that time, Butts chose to create a board game that requires both ingenuity and luck and uses elements of anagrams and crosswords popular in those years.

The first two modifications of the game were not accepted by publishers and Batts tried to distribute them himself, but he barely recouped the costs. In the end, the rights to the game were bought from him by entrepreneur and game lover James Bruno. It was he who simplified the game and gave it the name Scrabble. Since the 50s, the board game has become record-breaking popular and since then its success has been unchanged.

Instead, you can simply paraphrase the needed extract from a source or summarize the point of a whole novel with the right words. To accomplish this, you will require the help of our essay scrambler. It will significantly lessen your workload. It will also save you a lot of time to spend on more important things.

In the article below, our team has outlined what this tool is capable of. You will also learn to use this word scrambler to avoid plagiarism in your essay.

🔮 Text Scrambler: What It Can & Cannot Do

🖱️ using a paragraph scrambler for essay writing, 👌 essay scramble generator: the benefits, 🔗 references.

When using an essay or paragraph scrambler, you need to understand that it has certain limitations. You can only fully realize the true potential of this online software once you know what to expect from it.

Here are the things it cannot do:

  • Our tool cannot write an essay for you from scratch. It works with the text you input, changing the vocabulary and making your sentences unique.
  • A paragraph scrambler cannot fix grammatical errors. Therefore, you have to be vigilant when composing your text. Double-check your spelling and punctuation before using this generator.
  • It cannot predict what vocabulary you need. A single word can have dozens of synonyms, depending on its context. However, our text changer offers different options. Click on a word and go through the list.
  • The software cannot function offline. As with any other website application, you need an internet connection to access it.
  • It cannot provide a plagiarism check. Make sure to verify the originality of your scrambled sentences. Remember, if you are using a paraphrased excerpt in academic writing, you should cite it.

Instead, this generator will scramble your paragraphs, sentences, or even phrases. In other words, it will save you hours of looking for the perfect synonym, the suitable replacement, a better expression, etc.

The key reason to use an essay scrambler.

Our digital text scrambler also has the following benefits:

  • Keeps the original meaning. This innovative tool scans your text and replaces words with close synonyms. However, its message and overall purpose will remain untouched.
  • Works fast. Once you press the button, you will get your paraphrased content within seconds!
  • Reviews the writing several times. After the process is complete, you can make further adjustments to your text. Run it through the machine again for a different result. Or look through our list of synonyms yourself!
  • Available at any time of day or night. You can access our essay scrambler 24/7, whenever you want.
  • Operates for free. There are no payments or subscriptions required to use this tool. Paste your text and let the scrambler work its magic!

As we mentioned above, academic writing is directly associated with paraphrasing. Even to compose a simple expository paper , you will need to provide examples from different sources. For you, you will either use an essay scrambler or do the work yourself.

How to use a paragraph scrambler in essay writing.

Over here, we will explain how to use our tool when writing an argumentative essay:

Research your topic of choice.

Imagine that you are writing about the influence of European imperialism on Africa. Look for relevant sources and take note of what you may need. Find information that covers both points of view (African and European). It will give you a rounded understanding of the subject.

Decide on your thesis statement and arguments.

The thesis statement goes at the end of the introduction. It declares the subject matter of your paper and its purpose. Make sure you formulate the thesis clearly so that your audience understands what you will be discussing. The following paragraphs must discuss three arguments that back up your points of view.

Choose examples for your essay.

The claims you are making have to be supported by evidence from your research. Typically, we use citations to indicate which parts come from other sources. If you are using an excerpt directly as it appears in the original text, be sure to include quotation marks around it.

Use our paragraph scrambler to paraphrase them.

There is an easy solution if you want to use what was said in a source but don’t want to quote it directly. You only need to insert the words into the window above and press the button. Our tool will shuffle them for you, creating an entirely new text that still retains the original meaning.

Cite them in the body paragraphs.

Insert the paraphrased texts as you go along with your paragraph writing. Make sure you follow the citation style required by your academic institution. Don’t forget to mention all the sources you have used in the reference list.

If you’re feeling a little mixed up, check out some crucial essay writing tips .

Introduction

Scrabble is a game using words, in which players normally score points merely by placing tile, each baring a specific letter, onto a playing / game board which is standard divided into a 15 by 5 grid of squares. Much less is known of the exact number of players of scrabble there are in the world, majorly because it lacks a big enough body in the world, compared to FIFA for instance in the case of football, which can organize its various functions and tournaments all over the world and help in making even an estimate. On top of that, the estimated number of scrabble fans cannot be guessed, even in one city. This is because most of those who play scrabble do it in their homes, indoors, and mostly in very odd hours, as late in the night, thus making it hard for even would be fans to attend and spectate the game. To compound the challenges, the devoted scrabble players can barely make a living out of playing the game, which makes it less attractive in the eyes of would be players and even the fans, it any. Despite this challenges facing the game, over the years there are borne scrabble lovers, fanatics, whose main dream is to further the game to the level of its ‘contemporaries’ as chess and golf. Joel Sherman, famously nicknamed G.I. Joe is one of the game masters and has been portrayed in Stefan Fatsis’s book as a relentless lover and devotee of the game. But, how much does he understand about the game and to what extent has he devoted his efforts to further it? The following essay seeks to elucidate on this.

Joel Sherman, as presented is a middle aged man, currently staying with his father and brother, his mother is long dead. He has had an eventful youth life. He went to school, and despite him not being enthusiastic about reading or going to school at all, he was an excellent student, having made it to Queens College. This is a credit to him despite the fact that he quit the college after only two years. He is very hard working and industrious, evident by the fact that after getting a job with a bank at the age of 19, he was able, through his hard work, to move up the ladder to the level of being head of 8 other employees. However, he is shown to be rather resentful at being given more responsibilities. This is because he quit the job at the bank, with his only claim being that he had been given too many responsibilities because of his ability in doing the job very well, which, according to him, made it hard to finish even his personal tasks. He is equally, resentful of his life as a teenager. He says that he picked many of his allergies as a teenager. He is also suspicious of some of the people around him, having an opinion that they, in one way, or another, have contributed to his problems. One such unlucky a person is a dentist, whom he says has contributed in making him poor because he has had many dental works done there; meaning has paid a lot of cash. Nevertheless, he is a very devoted man, as seen in his utter devotion to perfecting his skills in chess. He stays up, late into the night, as long as he is doing something related to scrabble. For instance, it is his nature to analyze his games for the day before sleeping, as well as giving a free lesson to his roommate on how one can easily beat an opponent in his game. The sad thing is that he is a sickling, having been diagnosed with a myriad of allergies, from food to weather, which has made him hopeless. His hopelessness is seen through the fact that he does not think he holds any job, and thus he has resolved, as his father and brother, to live on the meager amount of money that their late mother (or wife for the case of the father) left them. Finally, he is an indoor person, described as not meeting many people, outside the game, apart from his dad and brother. This means that his social circle is the way far small than the average person. His eating habits are also worrying, in addition to the lack of exercise, which can predispose him to more health problems on top of his allergies.

In terms of his relationship to the game, he is a devout player doubling as a real fanatic. It is worth taking note of the fact that he started playing the game when he was six, very tender age for anyone to start playing a competitive game like scrabble. This is unusual, given the fact that he would not have developed his vocabulary that much to be a player like other kids his age then. He spends all his time playing games, teaching his roommate on how to play best, promoting the game be writing reviews and sending them to club members ion New York and also complaining through the media on why scrabble has been ‘despised’ unlike its contemporary games. Above all, he is a master in the game, having played more than 4000 scrabble tournament games, worn more than 40 tournaments in the process and having been crowned world champion three times. Having realized that he cannot work comfortably in any other profession, he decided to dedicate his life to chess, saying that it is the only thing he enjoys doing. His love for this game has led to resentment on how the general public sees the game. He wonders why people never find it fun going to watch a scrabble game, which, according to him, is great fun since they will see how the players ‘utilize resources’, a term he uses when referring to the ability of a player to arrange letters in order to get the maximum possible number of points.

In general, Joel Sherman is a prototype of a game fanatic, as seen through his detached nature concerning anything apart from the scrabble game. In him, one sees a person ready to go to any lengths to promote the game he loves, which can keep him awake the whole night as long as he is playing. The lack of social contact with anybody outside his family is a sure sign that his fanaticism has made him antisocial, save for his interaction with others who also are players and lovers of the game. But his enthusiasm and devotion to anything he is doing; be it working in a bank or playing a game of scrabble makes him a good teacher on the need to give all in anything someone chooses to do in life.

It is thus clear that despite scrabble as a game being less known, it still has people who are devoted to promote it and who like playing it. They have given their lives to the game, and Joel Sherman is the prototype, both master and fanatic. It does not matters how popular the game is or how much money they can make out of playing the game, but still, they are die-hard fans and players of their beloved game.
