My pet’s name is Mario. He is a two-year-old German Shepherd. I was in 6th grade when my father brought Mario home when he was just 45 days old. I still remember the day me and my sister went to the pet shop with my father to bring it home. I somehow wanted to pet a cat but my elder sister, Riya is almost crazy about dogs and was adamant that we get a dog as a pet. Both my parents are working. Though my grandparents live with us, they are old and taking care of a pet would have been too much to ask from them. Besides, my brother was a toddler then and my mother feared that he might catch infection. She tried to explain all these points to me. But I did not listen to any of her explanations. I went to my grandmother and requested her to convince mom to get a pet dog. My grandmother also tried to explain the same points. However, I kept convincing her for days and she finally agreed to take care of the dog for half the day until I came home from school. The rest was all my responsibility.

Somehow, I also convinced my father. Since he has a liking for dogs, convincing him was not that difficult. So finally my mother had to agree. We went to a nearby pet shop and my heart went drooling over this 2 months old German shepherd who was sleeping peacefully in a small cage. I knew at once that I wanted to keep him.

Roger won everyone’s Heart

Roger was so small and cute that almost everyone in my family fell in love with it as soon as I brought him home. My mother who detested the idea of bringing a pet home also found it cute and grew fond of it over the time. Dogs love babies and are very protective about them. Roger and my younger brother thus became friends almost instantly. Super excited about including Roger in the family, I told all my friends about it the same day.

Most of the time by day it remains idle and sometimes it sleeps. But it remains awake all night to catch its prey. Sometimes it catches mice and cockroaches. It is a good hunter.

Mini is very fond of taking fish, meat, and milk . When it becomes hungry, it tries to steal fish and milk from the kitchen. For this, my mother is often angry with her.

Mini is liked by other members of my family. It plays with my little brothers and sister. They often walk about taking her in their arms. She never bites or scratches them. So, it is liked by all.

Mini kills rats, whenever she sees a mouse, she chases it and kills it. Thus, she does some good for us.

When I come back home, it becomes very cheerful and utters mews. It sits down under my table when I read in the evening. Sometimes it runs here and there and soon returns. It goes to my bedroom with me and jumps on my lap as if it wanted to sleep with me. After all, I like Mini very much.

He is a member of the Labrador breed.

Sasha had a dark, pure coal-black complexion. With his adorable puppy-like paws and eyes, he was brought in. We were speechless in awe of its splendor. To see who would receive the most playtime with Sasha, my family members used to quarrel with one another.

Sasha acquired new skills as he grew older. He picked up a few tricks once we taught him to obey our commands. We enjoyed bragging about him to the others in our colony. We will appreciate Sasha’s commitment to standing by us throughout excellent and terrible times.

In other words, Sasha has taught us a lot of things. While we slept at night, he kept us safe. When one of us was down, he attempted to make us feel better. Sasha’s obedience greatly motivated me to treat my parents with respect. Sasha deserves all the praise for drastically altering our life.
