ਕੁੱਝ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਕੁੱਝ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ । ਇਸੇ ਤਰਾਂ ਹੀ 15 ਅਗੱਸਤ ਸਾਡਾ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਹੈ । ਸਾਡਾ ਦੇਸ 15 ਅਗੱਸਤ 1947 ਈਸਵੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਆਜ਼ਾਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ । ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਹੀ ਸਾਡੀ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਜੰਜ਼ੀਰਾਂ ਟੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਰਾਜ ਤੋਂ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਹੋਏ ਸੀ । ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਹੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਜਵਾਹਰ ਲਾਲ ਨਹਿਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਕੌਮੀ ਝੰਡਾ ਤਿਰੰਗਾ ਲਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਸੀ । ਇਸ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੜੀ ਧੂਮ ਧਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ।

ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤਕ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ | ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਭਾਰਤ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਚਲੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਕੋਈ ਛੋਟੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਲੇਕਿਨ ਆਪਣੀ ਕੁੜੀ ਚਾਲ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਦੇ ਟੁਕੜੇ ਕਰ ਗਏ । ਇਹ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਧੂਮ ਧਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ । ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼, ਧਰਮ ਜਾਂ ਜਾਤੀ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਲਕਿ ਹਰ ਧਰਮ ਤੇ ਜ਼ਾਤੀ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਰੱਲ-ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਮਨਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ । ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਲਾਲ ਕਿਲੇ ਤੇ ਕੰਮੀ ਝੰਡੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਮੀ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ । ਝੰਡਾ ਫਹਿਰਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ।

15 ਅਗੱਸਤ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਇਮਾਰਤਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੋਸ਼ਨੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ । ਭਾਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਬੱਚਾ, ਬੁੱਢਾ, ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਇਜ਼ਹਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ।

15 ਅਗੱਸਤ – ਸੁਤੰਤਰਤਾ ਦਿਵਸ | 15 August – Independence Day

15 ਅਗਸਤ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ – ਸਾਡਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਾਰਤ 15 ਅਗਸਤ 1947 ਨੂੰ ਅਜਾਦ ਹੋਇਆ। ਸਾਡਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਾਰਤ 15 ਅਗਸਤ 1947 ਨੂੰ ਅਜਾਦ ਹੋਇਆ । ਇਸ ਅਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤਾਂ, ਸੂਰਬੀਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਲਹੂ ਦੀ ਹੋਲੀ ਖੇਡ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਹ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਚਿੜੀ ਅਖਵਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਗ਼ਲਾਂ ਤੇ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਨ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਲੁਟਿਆ । ਪਰ ਸਮੇਂ-ਸਮੇਂ ‘ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਸੰਤ, ਕ੍ਰਾਂਤੀਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਚ ਆਇਆ ਤੇ ਮੁਗਲਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਅਵਾਜ ਉਠਾਈ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ, ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਸਿਵਾ ਜੀ, ਗੁਰ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਜੜਾ ਪਾ ਛੱਡੀਆ ਅਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਲਈ ਕਈ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ – ਨਾਮਧਾਰੀ ਲਹਿਰ, ਭਗੜੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਜੱਟਾ, ਗ਼ਦਰ ਲਹਿਰ, ਬੱਬਰ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਲਹਿਰ, ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚਲਾਈਆਂ ਤੇ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ — ਕਰਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਰਾਭਾ, ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਲਾਲਾ ਲਾਜਪਤ ਰਾਏ, ਹਰੀ ਕਿਸ਼ਨ ਚੰਦਰ ਸ਼ੇਖਰ ਅਜਾਦ ਸੁਖਦੇਵ ਰਾਜਗੁਰ ਆਦਿ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਚੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਅਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਆਗੂ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ, ਸਰਦਾਰ ਪਟੇਲ, ਮੌਲਾਨਾ ਅਜਾਦ, ਪੰਡਿਤ ਜਵਾਹਰ ਲਾਲ ਨਹਿਰੂ ਆਦਿ ਬਣੇ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਅਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਬੜਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਤੇ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਹੈ।

ਦਰਅਸਲ 1947 ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਲਗਭਗ 200 ਸਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਸਾਡਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਦੁਖੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਜ਼ੁਲਮਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਕ੍ਰਾਂਤੀਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇਨਕਲਾਬ ਦਾ ਬਿਗੁਲ ਵਜਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ‘ਤੇ ਲੰਮਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਰਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਤੇ ਨਾ ਕਿਤੇ ਬਗਾਵਤ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੰਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਜੱਦੋ-ਜਹਿਦ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ 15 ਅਗਸਤ 1947 ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡਾ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇਸ਼ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਹੋਇਆ।

15 ਅਗਸਤ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਗਮ – ਪੰਦਰਾਂ ਅਗਸਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਹਿੰਦੁਸਤਾਨ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਲਾਲ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਝੰਡਾ ਲਹਿਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਰਸਮ ਅਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਉਹ ਰਾਜਘਾਟ, ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਸਥਲ, ਵਿਜੈਘਾਟ, ਬਾਤੀਵਣ ਆਦਿ ਮਹਾਨ ਨੇਤਾਵਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਮਾਧੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀਆਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਫੁੱਲ-ਮਲਾਵਾਂ ਭੇਂਟ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ | ਫਿਰ ਕੌਮੀ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਝੰਡੇ ਨੂੰ 21 ਤੋਪਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਮੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕੌਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।ਇਸ ਦਾ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰਨ ਟੀ.ਵੀ. ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਚੈਨਲਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਇਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਲੋਕ ਘਰ ਬੈਠੇ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਕੋਨਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ 15 ਅਗਸਤ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਗਮ – ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਵਿਚ ਭਿੰਨ-ਭਿੰਨ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਤੇ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਭਿੰਨ-ਭਿੰਨ ਮਿਥੇ ਥਾਵਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਤਿਰੰਗਾ ਲਹਿਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਰਸਮ ਅਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਤੇ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਰੰਗ-ਬਰੰਗ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ, ਡਾਂਸ, ਭੰਗੜੇ-ਗਿੱਧੇ ਤੇ ਪੀ. ਟੀ. ਆਦਿ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਟੀ. ਵੀ., ਰੇਡੀਓ, ਸਿਨਮਾ, ਥੀਏਟਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਖੇਡ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਖਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

15 ਅਗਸਤ ਦਾ ਸਾਰੰਸ਼ – ਸੁਤੰਤਰਤਾ ਇਕ ਬਹੁਮੁੱਲੀ ਵਸਤੂ ਹੈ। 15 ਅਗਸਤ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਵੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਤਰਾਂ ਦੇਸ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਜ਼ਾਦ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕੁਤਬਾਨੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ, ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੇਸ ਦੀ ਅਜਾਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਤਨ, ਮਨ, ਧਨ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇ ਜਾਤ ਰਿਸ਼ਵਤਖੋਰੀ, ਭ੍ਰਿਸਟਾਚਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਬੇ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯਤਨ ਕਰਨੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੋਸਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਦੇ ਜਲ੍ਹ ਜਾਣ ਤੇ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਵਾਰ ਦੇਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਪਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਕਤ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਜਾਣ- ਪਛਾਣ: – ਸੁਤੰਤਰਤਾ ਦਿਵਸ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਕੌਮੀ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਹੈ । 15 ਅਗਸਤ 1947 ਵਿਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਅੰਗਰੇਜਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਦੀ ਕੈਦ ਤੋਂ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਸੀਂ 15 ਅਗਸਤ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਵਤੰਤਰਤਾ ਦਿਵਸ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਮਨਾਉਣੇ ਹਾਂ। ਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਲੰਮਾ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਕਈ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ । ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਦਕਾ ਅਸੀਂ ਅੱਜ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੀ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।

ਸੁਤੰਤਰਤਾ ਦਿਵਸ : ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੀ ਚਾਹ

ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਦਾ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਸੁਤੰਤਰ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੀਨ ਦੀ ਚਾਹ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਮੰਨੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਸਦਾ ਮੁਲਕ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਹੋਵੇ, ਗੁਲਾਮ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਕਦੋ ਵੀ, ਕਿਥੇ ਵੀ ਖੁਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦਾ। ਭਾਰਤ ਬੜੇ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਜ਼ੰਜੀਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜਕੜਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਚਾਹਵਾਨ ਸਨ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ।

ਸੁਤੰਤਰਤਾ ਦਿਵਸ : ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦਾ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼

ਉਝ ਤਾਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਚ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਹਮਲੇ ਹੋਏ ਪਰ ਮੁਗਲਾਂ ਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਦਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੰਗਰੇਜਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੁਗਲ ਭਾਰਤ ਤੋਂ ਹਮਲੇ ਪਿਛੋਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਆ ਕੇ ਵਸ ਗਏ ਪਰ ਅੰਗਰੇਜਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਤੇ ਬਾਹਰੋਂ ਭਾਵ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਭਾਰਤੀਯਾਂ ਤੇ ਅੰਗਰੇਜਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਸਮਾਨਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਤੇ ਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਤਮਕ । ਇਹਨਾਂ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਜੰਜੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜਣ ਲਈ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਦੀ ਕਈ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਉਠੀਆਂ 1857 ਈ . ਦਾ ਸਵਤੰਤਰਤਾ ਸੰਗਰਾਮ ਖਾਸ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਸੀ। ਕਈ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੇਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਅਸਹਿ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ। ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸੁਖਦੇਵ ਤੇ ਰਾਜਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਹੱਸਦੇ ਹੱਸਦੇ ਫਾਂਸੀ ਦੇ ਫੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੱਲ ਵਿਚ ਪਾਇਆ ਤੇ ਇਨਕਲਾਬ ਦੇ ਨਾਰੇ ਲਾਏ। ਸੁਭਾਸ਼ ਚੰਦਰ ਬੋਸ ਨੇ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਲਈ ਹਿੰਸਾਤਮਕ ਰਾਹ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਤੇ ਨਾਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ‘ ਸਵਤੰਤਰਤਾ ਸਾਡਾ ਜਨਮ ਸਿੱਧ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਹੈ ‘ਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਰਹਾਂਗੇ। ਕਰਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਰਾਭਾ, ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਉੱਧਮ ਸਿੰਘ, ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ, ਲਾਲ ਲਾਜਪਤ ਰਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਜਵਾਹਰ ਲਾਲ ਨਹਿਰੂ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਲੱਗ-ਅਲੱਗ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਨੇਤਾ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੀਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀਆਂ ਬੇਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਤੇ 15 ਅਗਸਤ 1947 ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਮਿਲ ਗਈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ ਸਮਝ ਚੁਕੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸੂਰਮੇਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਦੇਰ ਤਕ ਬੰਨ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ|

ਸੁਤੰਤਰਤਾ ਦਿਵਸ : ਕਿਵੇਂ ਮਨਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ

15 ਅਗਸਤ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਨਹਿਰੀ ਅੱਖਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਾਸੀ ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਬੜੀਆਂ ਖੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਾਸੀ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਚਾਅ ਤੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ । 15 ਅਗਸਤ ਦੀ ਸਵੇਰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਲਾਲ ਕਿਲੇ ਉਪਰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਤਿਰੰਗਾ ਝੰਡਾ ਲਹਿਰਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ । ਝੰਡਾ ਲਹਿਰਾਉਣ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਵਾਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕੌਮ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਪਿਛੋਂ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਭਿੰਨ-ਭਿੰਨ ਸਾਂਸਕ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸਾਰਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਟੈਲੀਵਿਜਨ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਬੜੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਸਾਰੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਏ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਲਈ ਖਾਸ ਪ੍ਰਗੋਰਾਮ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਰਾਜਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖਮੰਤਰੀ, ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੱਡੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਿੰਨ-ਭਿੰਨ ਥਾਂਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਝੰਡਾ ਲਹਿਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਰਸਮ ਅਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਈ ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰਿਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰੇਡ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰੰਗਾਰੰਗ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰੌਣਕ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਵਧਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਲੋਕ ਘਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਛੱਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਕੌਮੀ ਝੰਡਾ ਲਹਿਰਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ 15 ਅਗਸਤ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਬੜੇ ਚਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

15 ਅਗਸਤ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਭਾਰਤੀਆਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਬੜਾ ਹੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਦਿਨ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੀ ਮਹਾਨਤਾ ਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰਤਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੋਈ ਸੰਦੇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਦਰ ਪਾਉਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਲਈ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਰ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਰੱਖਣ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਦਿਨ ਸਮੂਹ ਧਨ, ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮਨ, ਤਨ ਸਮਾਜ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਲਈ ਗੌਰਵ ਕਰਨ ਭਰਿਆ ਦਿਨ ਹੈ।

ਭਾਰਤ ਸਦੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਜੰਜੀਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜਕੜਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ। ਇਹ ਭਾਰਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਨਾ ਸਹੀ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੀ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਵਾਰੀ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਉਖਾੜਨ ਦੇ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਤੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿਚ ਸਫਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ।

“15 August 1947” holds a special place in the heart of every Indian. On this day we got freedom from the 200 years of brutal British slavery. This is a day for the celebration of our freedom and rights.

Independence day is celebrated with great zeal, pomp and show. Various cultural programs, parade is organised at schools and colleges. The Indian tricolour is proudly hoisted at school, colleges and several other places as a symbol of India’s diversity.

Independence day is not just a celebration of the past sacrifices but a pledge to uphold the principles of liberty, spirit of democracy for generations to come. It serves as a reminder of the values of democracy, equality, and unity that form the bedrock of the nation.

The year 2023 marks the 77th anniversary of the country’s independence.

ਸਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਸਦੀਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਜ਼ੰਜੀਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਬਝ ਕੇ ਪੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਘਟਨ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਗੁਜ਼ਾਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ| ਬਿਟਿਸ਼ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ-ਕਾਲ ਵਿਚ ਤਾਂ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਦੀ ਪੀੜਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਤਮ ਚਰਨ ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਅਸਹਿ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਹਿ ਪੀੜਾ ਸਹਿਨ ਕਰਨੀ ਪਈ। ਅਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਲਈ, ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਸੰਗਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਸਨਾਨ ਵੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ | ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਸਾਡਾ ਮੁੱਢਲਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਹੀ ਰਹਾਂਗੇ , ਦਾ ਨਾਅਰਾ ਬੁਲੰਦੀ ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ । ਸਾਡਾ ਦੇ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪਰਵਾਨ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਵਾਨਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ । ਹੈ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਇਕ ਹੀ ਗੱਚ ਸੀ :

ਰਣਭਰੀ ਵਜ ਉੱਠੀ, ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਨ ਕੇਸਰੀ ਬਾਣਾ । ਮਿਟ ਜਾਓ ਵਤਨ ਤੇ ਇਸੇ ਤਰਾਂ ਜਿਸ ਤਰਾਂ ਸ਼ਮਾ ਤੇ ਪਰਵਾਨਾ ।

ਬਿਟਿਸ਼ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਹ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਲਦੇ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਪਰੇ • ਸ਼ਾਨ ਹੋ ਉੱਠੀ ਸੀ । ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤ ਪਵਾਨੇ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਅਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਗੁਣਗਾਣ ਕਰਦੇ ਨਿਕਲ ਪਏ ਸਨ । ਬਟਿਸ਼ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼-ਭਗਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਲਾਠੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਖਾ ਕਰਦੀ, ਜਿਉਂ ਜਿਉਂ ਬਿਟਿਸ਼ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਜੁਲਮ ਵਧਦਾ ਗਿਆ, ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੋਸ਼ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਵਧਦੀ ਗਈ। ਆਖਿਰ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਖਨ ਰੰਗ ਲਿਆਇਆਂ। ਜਿਹੜੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿਚ ਕਦਰਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਡਬਦਾ ਸੀ, ਆਖਿਰ ਨਿਹੱਥੇ ਭਾਰਤੀਆਂ ਅੱਗ ਬਬਲ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਤੇ 15 ਅਗਸਤ, 1947 ਦਾ ਉਹ ਪਵਿਤਰ ਦਿਨ ਆਇਆ ਜਦ ਲਾਮੀ ਦੀ ਰਾਤ ਗੁਜ਼ਰ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦਾ ਸੂਰਜ ਉਦੈ ਹੋਇਆ ।

15 ਅਗਸਤ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੁਭ ਦਿਨ ਦੁਖਣ ਲਈ ਕਈ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਮਾਵਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਲਟ ਗਏ, ਕਈ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਖੁਸ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਹਾਗਣਾ ਦੀ ਮਾਂਗ ਦਾ ਸੰਦਰ ਪੀੜਿਆ ਗਿਆ | ਗਾਂਧੀ, ਪਟਲ, ਜਵਾਹਰ ਲਾਲ ਨਹਿਰੂ ਤੇ ਲਾਲਾ ਲਾਜਪਤ ਰਾਏ ਵਰਗੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਜੇਲ ਦੇ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਸਹਿਨ ਕਰਨੇ ਪਏ| ਨੇਤਾ ਜੀ ਸੁਭਾਸ਼, ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਰਾਭਾ ਦੇ ਬਲੀਦਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਕੌਣ ਭੁਲਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਮਦਨ ਲਾਲ ਢੀਂਗਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਉੱਧਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਬੇਇੱਜ਼ਤੀ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਲੈਣ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਸੰਕੋਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ| ਜਲਿਆਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਾਗ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਦੇ ਖੂਨ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰਹ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕੀਤਾ । 13 ਅਗਸਤ, 1947 ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਤੇ ਇਕ ਝਾਤ ਮਾਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਲੀਦਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਲੰਬੀ ਕਤਾਰ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ । ਬਲੀਦਾਨ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਲੰਮੀ ਪਰੰਪਰਾ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਅਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੀ ਸਾਹ ਲੈਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੀ । 15 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਚਹੁੰ ਪਾਸੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਛਾ ਗਈ। ਹਰੇਕ ਗਲੀ ਮੁਹੱਲਾ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਨਾਲ ਗਜ ਉਠਿਆ। ਇਹ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਦਾ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਸੀ।

ਦਿੱਲੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਨਵੀਂ ਵਿਆਹੀ ਸਜਨੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਜੀ , ਸੌ ਵਾਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ । ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀਸੈ ਗਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਸੇਨਾਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਡਤ ਜਵਾਹਰ ਲਾਲ ਨਹਿਰੂ ਨੇ ਲਾਲ ਕਿਲੇ ਤੇ ਕੌਮੀ ਝੰਡਾ ਲਹਿਰਾਇਆ । ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਹਰੇਕ ਪਲ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਉਤਸਵ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰਣ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ । ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀਆਂ ਅਰਪਿਤ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ | ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਸੁਨਹਿਰੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਲਈ ਕਈ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਘੜੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ। 15 ਅਗਸਤ ਦੀ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਦੀਪਮਾਲਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਕਿ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਮਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਲੁਕਾ ਲਿਆ ।

ਹੁਣ ਭਾਰਤ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਹੈ । ਪਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਾਮਣੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਨਵ-ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਅਜੇ ਅਧੂਰਾ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ । ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਕੱਛੂਕੰਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਚਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ । ਦੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ 41 ਵਰੇ ਗੁਜਰਨ ਪਿਛੋਂ ਵੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਸਾਕਾਰ : ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਿਆ । ਅੱਜ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਲੋਕ ਨਿਜੀ ਸੁਆਰਥ ਦੀ ਦਲਦਲ ਵਿਚ ਫਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ । ਦਿਲ ਬੰਦੀ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਵਿਚ ਰੋੜਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ । ਸਾਡਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਫਰਜ਼ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ, ਇਸ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਈ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ, ਈਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਸਬੂਤ ਦੇਈਏ ! ਜਨਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਨਵ-ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ।

My Experience

In 2019, I visited Punjab, and it was an amazing experience. It was around Baisakhi, and there was a burst of vivid colours and a festive atmosphere everywhere. All the city people were there to celebrate the week of Baisakhi. Gurudwaras were turned into vast community places where everyone mingled and celebrated together. There were longer than normal queues for the special Kada Prashad on that day, and the langar (community feast) was organised on a huge scale. There was joyousness all around. To the sounds of the dhol, small groups of people were performing dance and singing boli. On the wrestling mats, the fighters were testing their physical might and entertaining everyone watching them.
