पण्डितजवाहरलालनेहरूमहोदयः स्वतन्त्रभारतस्य प्रथमः प्रधानमन्त्री आसीत्। तस्य जन्म उत्तरप्रदेशस्य प्रयागराजनगरे अभवत्। तस्य पितुः नाम ‘मोतीलालनेहरू’ इति आसीत् तथा च मातुः नाम ‘स्वरूपरानी’ इति आसीत्। उच्चशिक्षणार्थं सः आङ्ग्लदेशं गतवान्। बालैः सह तस्य आचरणं स्नेहमयः आसीत्, अतः सः ‘चाचा नेहरू’ इति नाम्ना स्मृतः। तस्य जन्मदिने भारते ‘बालदिनम्’ आचर्यते। भारतीयस्वतन्त्रतासङ्ग्रामे तस्य महत् योगदानम् आसीत्। सः नेता, राजनीतिज्ञः, लेखकः च आसीत्। सः अनेकानि पुस्तकानि लिखितवान्, तेषु एकं प्रसिद्धं पुस्तकं ‘ द ‘डिस्कवरी ऑफ् इण्डिया’ इति अस्ति। सः भारतमातुः एकः महान् सुपुत्रः आसीत्।

paṇḍitajavāharalālaneharūmahodayaḥ svatantrabhāratasya prathamaḥ pradhānamantrī āsīt। tasya janma uttarapradeśasya prayāgarājanagare abhavat। tasya pituḥ nāma ‘motīlālaneharū’ iti āsīt tathā ca mātuḥ nāma ‘svarūparānī’ iti āsīt। uccaśikṣaṇārthaṃ saḥ āṅgladeśaṃ gatavān। bālaiḥ saha tasya ācaraṇaṃ snehamayaḥ āsīt, ataḥ saḥ ‘cācā neharū’ iti nāmnā smṛtaḥ। tasya janmadine bhārate ‘bāladinam’ ācaryate। bhāratīyasvatantratāsaṅgrāme tasya mahat yogadānam āsīt। saḥ netā, rājanītijñaḥ, lekhakaḥ ca āsīt। saḥ anekāni pustakāni likhitavān, teṣu ekaṃ prasiddhaṃ pustakaṃ ‘ da ‘ḍiskavarī ऑph iṇḍiyā’ iti asti। saḥ bhāratamātuḥ ekaḥ mahān suputraḥ āsīt।

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was the first prime minister of independent India. He was born in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Motilal Nehru was his father and Swarup Rani was his mother. He went to England for higher education. He was quite loving towards children and so he is remembered as ‘Chacha (Uncle) Nehru’. His birthday is celebrated as Children’s Day in India. He played an important role in the Indian Independence movement. He was a leader, politician and writer too. He wrote many books, one of which is The Discovery of India. He was a great son of mother India.

नमस्कार दोस्तों आज के इस आर्टिकल में हम आपके साथ आचार्य चाणक्य के बारे में 10 वाक्य संस्कृत भाषा में शेयर करने जा रहे हैं इ इसके साथ ही उनके जीवन की संक्षिप्त जानकारी (Aacharya Chanakya 10 line in Sanskrit language) आपके लिए लेकर आए हैं, जहां से परीक्षा में अक्सर सवाल पूछे जाते हैं।

चाणक्य राजा चन्द्रगुप्त मौर्य के समय उनके मंत्रीमंडल में महामंत्री थे. चाणक्य का जन्म एक गरीब परिवार में हुआ था इनकी शिक्षा महान शिक्षा केंद्र” तक्षशिला” में हुई। 14 सालो तक चाणक्य ने अध्ययन किया और 26 वर्ष की आयु में इन्होंने अर्थशात्र, समाजशात्र, और राजनीति विषयो में गहरी शिक्षा प्राप्त की।

एक बार की बात है जब मगध वंश के दरबार में इनका अपमान किया गया तब से इन्होंने नन्द वंश को मिटाने की प्रतिज्ञा ली और बाद में चन्द्रगुप्त मौर्य के राजगद्दी में बिठाने के बाद इन्होंने अपनी प्रतिज्ञ पूरी की ओर नन्द वंश का नाश कर दिया। उन्होंने वहां मौर्य वंश स्थापित कर दिया। उस समय नन्द वंशो ने गरीबो की दशा खराब कर रखी थी तब प्रजा की रक्षा की और अपना कर्तव्य का पालन किया. उन्होंने नन्द वंशो को भारत से बाहर किया और एक राजा चन्द्रगुप्त मौर्य को एक अखंड राष्ट्र बनाने में मदद की। मौर्य वंश को बनाने में चाणक्य को श्रेय जाता हैं। चाणक्य कूटनीति को अहम मानते थे। इसलिये इन्हे कुटनीति का जनक भी माना जाता है। इस लिये राजा चन्द्रगुप्त मौर्य ने इन्हे महामंत्री का दर्जा दिया। 

चाणक्य का जन्म और नाम

चाणक्य के विषय में इतिहास में ज्यादा प्रमाण नहीं मिलाता है.कुछ विद्वान इनके नाम के पीछे भी अपनी राय रखते है क्योंकि इनका नाम कौटिल्य भी था। कुछ लोग मानते है कुटल गोत्र होने के कारण इनका नाम कौटिल्य पड़ा। भारत में आज भी चाणक्य को चाणक्य और कौटिल्य आदि नामो से ही जाना जाता है। इस सम्बन्ध में महान विद्वान राधाकांत जी ने अपनी रचना में कहा हैं अस्तु कौटिल्य इति वा कौटिल्य इति या चनाक्यस्य गोत्र्नाम्ध्यम”। कुछ लोग ने सीधी राय रखी है चणक का पुत्र होने के कारण इन्हे चाणक्य कहा जाता हैं. कुछ विद्वान मानते है कि इनके पिता ने इनका नाम बचपन में विष्णु गुप्त रखा था जो बाद में चाणक्य और कौटिल्य कहलाये।

रक्षाबन्धनं श्रावणमासस्य शुक्लपूर्णिमायाम् आचर्यते । भ्रातृभगिन्योः पवित्रसम्बन्धस्य सम्मानाय एतत् पर्व भारतीयाः आचरन्ति । निर्बलतन्तुना बद्धः भ्रातृभगिन्योः सबलसम्बन्धः भारतीयसंस्कृतेः गहनतायाः प्रतीकः । मानवसभ्यतायां विकसिताः सर्वाः संस्कृतयः प्रार्थनायाः माहात्म्यं भूरिशः उपस्थापयन्ति । आदिभारतीयसंस्कृतेः विचारानुगुणं भ्रातुः रक्षायै भगिन्या ईश्वराय कृता प्रार्थना एव रक्षाबन्धनम् । भगिनी ईश्वराय प्रार्थनां करोति यत् , “ हे ईश्वर ! मम भ्रातुः रक्षणं करोतु ” इति । एतां प्रार्थना कुर्वती भगिनी भ्रातुः हस्ते रक्षासूत्रबन्धनं करोति । भगिन्याः हृदि स्वं प्रति निःस्वार्थ प्रेम दृष्ट्वा भ्राता भगिन्यै वचनं ददाति यत् , “ अहं तव रक्षां करिष्ये ” इति । ततः उभौ परस्परं मधुरं भोजयतः । भगिन्या ईश्वराय स्वरक्षणस्य या प्रार्थना कृता , तस्याः प्रार्थनायाः कृते भगिनीं प्रति कृतज्ञता प्रकटयितुं भ्राता भगिन्यै उपहारम् अपि यच्छति । भ्रातृभगिन्योः सम्बन्धस्य एतत् आदानप्रदानम् अमूल्यं वर्तते ।

श्रीजवाहरलालः भारतस्य प्रधानमन्त्री जवाहरलालः न केवल भारतवर्षे प्रत्युत समस्तेऽस्मिन् । संसारे प्रमुखराजनीतिज्ञेषु एकतमः गण्यते स्म । अद्य तस्यैव प्रभावेण भारतः संसारे । संमानदृष्ट्या अवलोक्यते ।

तस्य पिता श्रीमतीलालः भारतीयस्वतन्त्रतासंग्रामस्य महान् योद्धा आसीत् ।। स महान् वाक्कीलः अतुलसम्पत्तिशाली चासीत् । जवाहरलाल शिक्षयितु स गृहे एव । अध्यापकान् नियुक्तवान् । । ततः पञ्चदशवर्षावस्थायां श्री जवाहरलालः उच्चशिक्षा प्राप्तुम् आङ्गलदेश । गत्वा ‘हैरो’-महाविद्यालये प्रवेशं लब्धवान् । सततपरिश्रमेण स ततः ‘बैरिस्ट्रीं परीक्षामत्तीर्य भारत प्रत्यागत्य वाक्कीलकाये कतु मारभत । परन्तु तस्मिन् कार्यं तस्य चित्त । नाऽरमत । अतः स राजनीतिक्षेत्रे कार्य मारब्धवान् । अस्मिन् क्षेत्रे स अचिरेणैव कालेन । महतीं ख्यातिमवाप्तवान् । नववशत्युत्तरकानविंशतिशततमे (१९२९) अब्दे जनवरीमासे लवपूरे स काँग्रेसाऽधिवेशनस्य प्रधानः निर्वाचितः अभवत् । अस्मिन्नेव अधिवेशने स भारतस्य पूर्णस्वतन्त्रतायाः घोषणां कृतवान् ।

जवाहरलालस्य जीवनस्य महान् भागः कारागारे एव व्यत्यैत् । सप्तचत्वारिशदत्तरेकोनविंशतिशततमे (१९४७) अब्दै अगस्तमासे यदा भारतः स्वतन्त्रो जातः, तत। प्रारभ्य स एव देशस्य प्रधानमन्त्रिपदमलकुवा वर्तते स्म । एषु षोडशसु एव वर्षेषु प्रधानमन्त्रिण: सततपरिश्रमणः देशः विभिन्नक्षत्रषु महती मुन्नति कृतवान् । तृतीया पंचवर्षीय योजना समाप्त । अनया योजनया देश: प्रोद्योगिकक्ष महतीं प्रगतिमकरोत् प्रधना चतुर्थी पञ्चवर्षीया योजना प्रचलिता वर्तते ‘अभया च योजनया लक्षश: भारती : कार्य: मेलिष्यति देशश्च विभिन्नक्षेत्र विकसितः भविष्यति ।।

भारते एषा सर्वा अपि अभ्युन्नतिः श्रीजवाहरलालस्य सततपरिश्रमेणैव संजाता। परमिदानीं भारतस्य दौर्भाग्येण तस्य परमप्रियः नेता, शिशूनां पितृव्य: श्रीजवाहरलालनेहरू: मई-मासस्य सप्तविंशति-तारिक यां मध्याह्नोत्तरे चतुः षष्ट्युत्तरेकनोविंशतिशततमे । (१९३४) अब्दे देशसेवां कुवन् नवदिल्ल्यां चतु:सप्तति-वर्षावस्थायां भूलोकवासं त्यक्त्वा । दिवमगात् । अस्य महापुरुषस्य निधनेन देशे समन्तात् हाहाकारोऽभवत् । भगवान् । तस्यात्मने शान्ति दद्यात् ।

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was a great hero of the Indian freedom struggle. Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru was the one who played an important role in the politics of India before and after independence. Because of his love for children, his birthday is celebrated as Children's Day.

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was born on 14 November 1889 in Allahabad (Prayagraj). His father Motilal Nehru was a well-known lawyer of the city and mother Swaroop Rani Nehru belonged to a well-known Kashmiri Brahmin family of Lahore.

He was taught at home by private teachers in his childhood. He completed his schooling from Harrow in England. Jawaharlal Nehru acquired the knowledge of Hindi, English and Sanskrit languages ​​by staying at his home till the age of 13. He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge. He studied law at the Inns of Court School of Law in London. His father, Pt. Motilal Nehru was a very famous and successful barrister.

During this period he also studied politics, economics, history and literature. Bernard Shaw, Wells, J. The writings of M. Keynes, Meredith Townsend had a profound effect on his political thinking. After completing his degree in 1910, Nehru went to London to study law and practiced law from the Inner Temple Inn. Nehru returned to India after completing his education in 1912. After completing his education, he returned to India and became a lawyer in the Allahabad High Court.

He was interested in Indian politics. He could not keep himself away from the Indian freedom struggle. He participated in many movements. He also went to jail several times. He was very close to Gandhiji. Jawaharlal Nehru participated shoulder to shoulder with Mahatma Gandhi in the Salt Satyagraha, Quit India Movement, Non-Cooperation Movement and many such important movements. In 1928, as a result of being the leader of the movement against the Simon Commission, Nehru and others were lathi-charged by the police.

Nehru was once again arrested because of Nehru's historic resolution "Quit India" in the Congress Committee meeting held on 7 August 1942 in Bombay (Mumbai). This was the last time he was going to jail. This time Nehru was arrested for a long time. In his entire life, he has been jailed nine times for serving the country.

Pandit Nehru became the first Prime Minister of independent India. He proved to be a very capable leader. Newborn India had many problems. Pt. Nehru dealt with them all very effectively. He acted wisely during the partition of India.

Various issues like freedom of religion, adult franchise, equality before the law etc. were presented under his rule. All major industries were nationalised. Pt. Nehru worked for the development of agriculture. He started many big projects. He did IIT, IIM and A. I.I.M.S. directed towards development. At that time the world was divided into two camps. But, he initiated the policy of non-alignment. He presented the principles of Panchsheel.

Pandit Nehru took the responsibility of India when it was a newborn. He laid the foundation for all the important projects. He died on 27 May 1964. His death was a great loss to the country. As an Indian leader, he has also played his role by enduring many tortures. We can never forget his contribution towards the development of the country.

Later, in 1929, he was chosen to serve as the Indian National Congress's president.

A warm welcome to the modified and updated website of the Centre for East Asian Studies. The East Asian region has been at the forefront of several path-breaking changes since 1970s beginning with the redefining the development architecture with its State-led development model besides emerging as a major region in the global politics and a key hub of the sophisticated technologies. The Centre is one of the thirteen Centres of the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi that provides a holistic understanding of the region.

Initially, established as a Centre for Chinese and Japanese Studies, it subsequently grew to include Korean Studies as well. At present there are eight faculty members in the Centre. Several distinguished faculty who have now retired include the late Prof. Gargi Dutt, Prof. P.A.N. Murthy, Prof. G.P. Deshpande, Dr. Nranarayan Das, Prof. R.R. Krishnan and Prof. K.V. Kesavan. Besides, Dr. Madhu Bhalla served at the Centre in Chinese Studies Programme during 1994-2006. In addition, Ms. Kamlesh Jain and Dr. M. M. Kunju served the Centre as the Documentation Officers in Chinese and Japanese Studies respectively.

The academic curriculum covers both modern and contemporary facets of East Asia as each scholar specializes in an area of his/her interest in the region. The integrated course involves two semesters of classes at the M. Phil programme and a dissertation for the M. Phil and a thesis for Ph. D programme respectively. The central objective is to impart an interdisciplinary knowledge and understanding of history, foreign policy, government and politics, society and culture and political economy of the respective areas. Students can explore new and emerging themes such as East Asian regionalism, the evolving East Asian Community, the rise of China, resurgence of Japan and the prospects for reunification of the Korean peninsula. Additionally, the Centre lays great emphasis on the building of language skills. The background of scholars includes mostly from the social science disciplines; History, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, International Relations and language.

Several students of the centre have been recipients of prestigious research fellowships awarded by Japan Foundation, Mombusho (Ministry of Education, Government of Japan), Saburo Okita Memorial Fellowship, Nippon Foundation, Korea Foundation, Nehru Memorial Fellowship, and Fellowship from the Chinese and Taiwanese Governments. Besides, students from Japan receive fellowship from the Indian Council of Cultural Relations.

India has been the home to many great freedom fighters and world leaders. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru is one among them. He was born on 14 th November 1889 at Allahabad, officially known as Prayagraj. His father, Motilal Nehru, was a famous barrister. In the initial years, Jawaharlal Nehru had his primary education at home. He was then sent to England for high school studies. He completed his graduation in Law from Trinity College in Cambridge and became a barrister at the Inner Temple in London. In the fight for Indian independence, he was deeply influenced by Mahatma Gandhi. Under his guidance, Jawaharlal Nehru took an active part in the freedom struggle following the path of truth and non-violence. Due to this, he was sent to jail many times. During his one of the jail periods, he wrote the book, ‘The Discovery of India’. He also wrote a series of letters to his daughter, Indira, telling her about the rich social and cultural heritage of India and the importance of the freedom struggle. He played a very active role in the struggle for independence with Congress. He was made the president of the Indian National Congress in 1929. Under him, Congress took the pledge of complete independence from British rule. This was known as the Poorna Swaraj declaration and was officially acknowledged on 26 th November 1930. This day is celebrated as ‘The Republic Day in India when India officially adopted its constitution.

After the independence of India on 15 th August 1947, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru became the first Prime Minister of India. Under his astute leadership and global vision, India achieved progress, prosperity, and respect on the international stage. He laid the foundation of democracy in India. He exemplified his belief in democracy at an international level by adopting the Non-Aligned Policy as part of India’s foreign policy. This made India the pioneer of the Non-Aligned Movement in the world. He believed in peaceful co-existence and therefore he signed the Panchsheel Agreement between India and China in 1961. He was a great supporter of disarmament and worked hard to create an international order of peace and brotherhood. Following the path defined by Buddha, Christ, and Nanak, he led India, the largest democracy in the world, to a position of respect in the world. 

He died on 27 th May 1964. He left behind the rich heritage of planning and development. He created a network of educational, technical, and medical institutions. One of the best examples is the establishment of a chain of the Indian Institute of Technology and the Indian Institute of Management. He left a legacy of large industrial, agricultural, irrigation, and power projects. Projects such as setting up steel plants, construction of dams, and establishing power plants led India to the path of technological and infrastructural development.

His contributions have been noteworthy in all fields. Because of this, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru came to be known as ‘The Architect of Modern India’. In the year 1912, he returned to India and tried to settle down as a barrister like his father.

He married Kamala Kaul in 1916 and had a daughter named Indra in 1917.

At the time of the non-cooperation movement in 1920, he made his first big involvement in national politics. And also had to go to jail many times due to their involvement in such activities.

He also internationalized the Indian Freedom struggle and sought foreign allies for India. He forged links with others movements for independence and democracy. His efforts paid off in the year 1927 when Congress was invited to the congress of oppressed nationalities in Brussels, Belgium

From the year 1939, At the start of World War 2, Congress under Nehru decided to help the British but on the fulfillment of certain conditions, one of which was the assurance of complete independence of India after the war and right to frame a new constitution, but the British didn’t agree.

After the war, India somehow got Independence from the British, but sadly India was divided into two nations, Pakistan and modern-day India. And Nehru was elected as the Prime minister of this nation.

પ્રસ્તાવના:  ભારતના લાલ જવાહરલાલથી સંપૂર્ણ વિશ્વ પરિચિત છે. એમનો જન્મ ૧૪ નવેમ્બર સન્ ૧૮૮૯માં ઇલાહાબાદના આનંદ ભવનમાં થયો. નેહરૂજીના પિતા પંડિત મોતીલાલ નેહરૂ એ સમયના પ્રસિદ્ધ વકીલ હતા. એમની માતાજીનું નામસ્વરૂપરાની હતું. તેઓ નેહરૂજીને અસીમ પ્રેમ કરતી હતી. નેહરૂજીના પરિવાર પર લક્ષ્મીની મહાન કૃપા હતા. આથી નેહરૂજીનું લાલન-પાલન રાજકુમારોની સમાન થયું. એમની આરંભિક શિક્ષા મૌલવી, પંડિત તેમજ એક અંગ્રેજ પાદરીની દેખ-રેખમાં ઘર પર જ થઈ.

પંડિત જવાહરલાલ નેહરૂએ ઉચ્ચ શિક્ષા ઇંગ્લેન્ડથી પ્રાપ્ત કરી. લંડનના હૈરો તેમજ કેમ્બ્રિજ વિશ્વવિદ્યાલયોમાં પોતાની શિક્ષા પૂર્ણ કરીને તેઓ સન્ ૧૯૧૨માં બેરિસ્ટર બનીને સ્વદેશ પાછા ફર્યા.

રાજનીતિમાં પ્રવેશઃ  સન્ ૧૯૯૬માં નેહરૂજીના લગ્ન કમલાદેવીની સાથે થયા. કમલાદેવી દેશભક્ત મહિલા હતી. લંડનથી પાછા ફર્યા પછી જ નેહરૂજી રાજનીતિની તરફ ખેંચાતા ગયા. સન્ ૧૯૨૦માં ગાંધીજીએ અસહયોગ આંદોલન આરંભ કર્યું. નેહરજી પણ એમાં સામેલ થયા. ફળસ્વરૂપે એમને બંદી બનાવી લેવામાં આવ્યા.

સન્ ૧૯૨૯માં એમને કોંગ્રેસના અધ્યક્ષ પસંદ કરવામાં આવ્યા. એ સમયે એમણે રાવી નદીના તટ પર પૂર્ણ સ્વરાજ્ય પ્રાપ્ત કરવાની પ્રતિજ્ઞા કરી. ત્યારે જ તેઓ ભારતીય જનતાના હૃદય-સમ્રાટ બની ગયા. નેહરૂજીએ અનેક વાર જેલ-યાત્રાઓ કરી. એમણે પોતાના જીવનના ૧૪ વર્ષ જેલોમાં વ્યતીત કર્યા.

સ્વતંત્રતા-આંદોલનની વચ્ચે જ એમની પત્ની કમલા નેહરૂ બીમાર પડી ગઈ. પરંતુ કમલાજીને બચાવી ના શકાયા. ત્યાં જ એમનું મૃત્યુ થઈ ગયું. તેઓ પોતાની એકમાત્ર સંતાન ઇન્દિરાને લંડનની એક સ્કૂલમાં દાખલો અપાવીને ભારત પાછા ફર્યા. તેઓ ફરીથી દેશ-સેવાના કામમાં લાગી ગયા.

પ્રધાનમંત્રીના રૂપમાંઃ  ૧૫ ઓગષ્ટ, ૧૯૪૭એ દેશ સ્વતંત્ર થયો. દેશમાં નવા સૂરજનો ઉદય થયો. જનતાએ દીપ પ્રગટાવીને ખુશીઓ મનાવી. પંડિત જવાહરલાલ નેહરૂને દેશના પ્રધાનમંત્રી બનાવવામાં આવ્યા. તેઓ સતત ૧૭ વર્ષ સુધી દેશના પ્રધાનમંત્રી રહ્યા. એમના કાર્યકાળમાં ભારતે વિભિન્ન ક્ષેત્રોમાં પ્રગતિ કરી.

ઉપસંહારઃ  નેહરૂજી હંમેશાં વિશ્વ-શાંતિના સમર્થક રહ્યા. આપણો દેશ આજે પણ પંડિતજીના બતાવેલા માર્ગ પર અગ્રેસર છે. ૨૭મે, સન્ ૧૯૬૪એ અચાનક આ મહાન પુરુષનું નિધન થઈ ગયું.

એમના પ્રતિ આપણી સાચી શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ એ જ હશે કે, આપણે એમના બતાવેલા માર્ગ પર ચાલીએ અને પોતાના દેશને વિશ્વમાં શ્રેષ્ઠ બનાવીએ.
