Touch Screen Based Electrical Devices Control System
The proposed system is developed based on the touch screen to control the home appliances. This project is used in colleges and industries. In this project, five relays and a single buzzer is used. This project is used to control the AC and DC devices. Touch screen technology is used that acts like a control panel for transmitting commands. These signals are transmitted through an RF wireless communication module.
Static Synchronous Series Comparator based Power System Stability Enhancement
This project is used to control and modulate the flow of power within a transmission line through an SSSC (Synchronous Static Series Compensator). In this project, SSSC is used to examine the device effect while controlling active powers, reactive powers & oscillations of damping power system within the transient mode.
In the DC link, SSSC and an energy source can be applied to supply otherwise absorb the active and reactive power from the line. The simulation of this project can be done using MATLAB or SIMULINK. The final results can be attained for preferred bus-2 within two engine power system that shows the compensator efficiency like one of the FACTS devices in controlling power flows, attaining the preferred value for the powers like active & reactive appropriately.
Automatic Power Factor Controller
This project is used to improve the PF (power factor) automatically once it falls down a fixed level. At present, electricity demand is increased and inductive loads are used in domestic and industrial applications. So low power factor mainly occurs because of these inductive loads within the power system.
Therefore, a method is implemented to improve the PF automatically namely automatic PF controller. This project gives the best solution for improving the power factor because less power factor can cause redundant load on transmission lines and power system. Once the PF is improved then the efficiency of the power system can be improved. So, the prototype of PF correction is designed using relays, PIC microcontroller, zero-crossing circuit, current and potential transformer.
Controlling & Monitoring of Power Stealing Detection using GSM
Power theft is a common issue especially in a country like India. Pollution is high and electricity users are very high. So every year, power theft is increasing across the connections of domestic electricity & industrial power supply. This can cause a very loss in different companies and load shedding problems can occur in rural areas. So to overcome this problem, detection of power stealing and its monitoring system is developed using GSM.
Automatic Power Factor for Harmonic Voltage Resonance Suppression in Distributed Systems
This project is used to implement a linearly and continuously controlled capacitive static VAR compensator for the correction of automatic PF for inductive single-phase loads in power system networks. The construction of a compensator can be done with a new adaptive current controller including TCR equipped and harmonic-suppressed.
The TCR with harmonic-suppressed is a new design that can be built with a TCR (thyristor controlled reactor) that is moved through a passive 3rd harmonic filter. Additionally, the parallel design is interfaced to an AC source through a series 1st harmonic filter.
This TCR is designed to inject the insignificant harmonic current components into the AC source. The compensator is connected with an adaptive current controller with a closed-loop, which reacts linearly to the demands of reactive current. The compensator’s operating losses with no load can be insignificant as compared with its current rating of capacitive reactive.
D-STATCOM based Power Quality Enhancement in Distribution System
The problem of power quality is an incidence that is visible like an abnormal current, voltage, and frequency that fails end-user equipment. Sensitive industrial loads, critical commercial operations & utility distribution networks suffer from different kinds of outages & service breaks can cause important financial losses.
This project improves the voltage sags as well as swell, low PF, and harmonic distortion using D-STATCOM (Distribution Static Compensator). This project works with VSC (Voltage Source Converter) principle that supplies a current to the system for lessening the voltage sags & swell to enhance harmonic distortion & low PF (power factor). The simulation of this project can be done through MATLAB SIMULINK.

OLED is a type of LED( Light Emitting Diode) with a small change that the component that produces light is made up of a thin layer of organic compounds. This organic semiconductor layer is situated between the two electrodes. It is mainly used for flat panel displays, mobile devices, and smartphones. There are two types of OLEDs :
Based on small molecules
Using polymers
Working of OLEDs
Organic LED work almost in the same way as traditional LEDs with some changes. In this instead of n-type and p-type semiconductors, organic molecules are used to produce electrons and holes. There are 6 layers of OLED. The top layer is known as the seal while the bottom layer is called the substrate. There are two terminals between the top and the bottom layers – anode(positive terminal) and cathode(negative terminal). In between these terminals, there are the organic layers one is the emissive layer and the other one is the conductive layer.
A voltage is connected to the anode and the cathode. Electricity starts flowing and the cathode starts receiving electrons while the cathode starts losing them. As the electrons are added, the emissive layer starts becoming negatively charged while the conductive layer starts becoming positively charged. The positively charged holes starts jumping towards the emissive layer. When the positive hole meets the negatively charged electron ,a photon is produced which is a particle of light.
Advantages of OLEDs
These are superior to LCDs.
These are thinner, lighter and flexible.
The respond time is faster.
They produce true colors with better viewing angle.
Disadvantages of OLEDs

Human Area Network is a wireless network also referred to as RedTacton that uses the human body as a medium for high-speed transmission. It is different from other wireless and infrared technologies in the sense that it uses tiny electric field emitted on the surface of the human body. It is a very good topic under ece thesis topics list.
The human body forms a transmission path whenever a part of it comes into contact with the RedTacton transceiver. Body surface can be hands, legs, arm, feet or face. It can work through clothes and shoes. Whenever the physical contact between the transceiver and the human body is lost, communication ends.
It has the following three main features:
The communication can be triggered by human movements like touching, gripping, walking, sitting, and stepping for obtaining data.
The transmission speed is not depleted when many people are communication at the same time as the transmission path is human body surface.
Conductors and dielectrics can be used along with the human body.
Working of Human Area Network
The approach of Human Area Network is different from other networks. It does not use electromagnetic waves or light waves for data transmission. Instead, it uses weak electric signals on the human body for transmission. It works as follows:
The RedTacton transmitter generates a weak electric signal on the human body surface.
Any changes caused by the transmitter to the electric field is sensed by the RedTacton receiver.
RedTacton depends upon the principle that the changes in the weak electric field can cause a change in the optical properties of an electro-optic crystal.
These changes are detected using a laser and the result is produced in the form of electrical signals.
RedTacton uses CSMA/CD(Carrier Sense with Multiple Access with Collision Detection) protocols for transmission.
