There are 15 chapters in the Class 2 Maths Syllabus. You can understand all the chapters easily using the NCERT solutions.

Chapter 1 – What is Long, What is Round?

In this chapter, you will learn how to guess the name of objects according to their description. The exercise has five questions. Go through the examples for things that roll, things that slide, and things that both roll and slide. Next, you will get to know about coin play, and there are three questions related to it. Learn how to spin and roll a coin and practice the questions. While learning this chapter, try to have fun and understand the concept properly.

Chapter 2 – Counting Groups

This is the second chapter in your Class 2 Maths Syllabus. This chapter shows how to guess the number from a given diagram. In this exercise, there are four questions. It also explains how to count by looking at a diagram, and you have to practice the exercise questions and learn the process properly. In the next exercise, you have the topic “more or less”, in which you are required to determine the answer in the form of more or less. In this exercise, there are eight questions. Before solving, go through the questions and understand them; this will help you to develop a proper habit of reading questions thoroughly. In the next exercise, you will need to arrange the numbers in order. You will also start learning how to write about a given picture and count the number of designs on a cloth. There are four questions in this exercise. Practice all the questions which are given in the exercises.

Chapter 3 – How Much Can You Carry?

This chapter is very important, and you should focus on it. There are 14 questions in this chapter, and you should try to solve them all. The first topic is, the clever donkey and his heavy sack, learn and practice the related questions to the topic. On this topic, there are four questions. Next, you will get to know how to differentiate between heavier and lighter. You will also learn how to match heavier objects to other heavier objects and lighter objects to other lighter objects. In this exercise, there is only one question. The last exercise is “How Much Can You Carry”. You should practice all the questions in order to understand the concept properly. Use the solutions for the exercise questions and additional examples.

Chapter 4 – Counting in Tens

This chapter is important, and there are 11 questions in it. The first exercise is chickens and the clever fox, and there are two questions in this exercise. Solve them by using the solutions. The next exercise is, how many of these? There are five questions in this exercise. You will learn how to count the number of objects in tens and practise the exercise questions. In this exercise, there are six questions.
